Gone forever

"I don't have a choice. Neither do you." In all reality, Angel had gotten used to the place. All the rules and regulations. Besides...what would she do without the facility? She barely had any belongings except maybe so few of her clothes. Which was perfectly fine with her. She didn't really like change that much anyway.

 

Kanaye laughed softly, a very odd sound to him since he never laughed for real. "I'm gonna fall asleep if I stay up here. I guess I should head back in..." He got to his feet and started for the door. "Training to kill awaits."

 

"You still didn't answer my question" Lina pointed out.

 

However....there was something that bothered Angel. She was a trained soldier...she could kill Lina right now if she really wanted to....but...there was something about fighting.....and killing. Angel had been neglecting her training. She didn't like to spar, and she didn't like the fact that one day....the training dummies will be real. She has no problem with blood or gory sights to an extent...but...Angel did not like to fight. "That was my answer. I don't have choice.....but if that's not what you wanted then....let's just say....I've gotten used to this place. I can't live anywhere else. Because I don't know how to."

 

Kanaye hurried down the staircase back into the hall. He noticed Angel was still there, with another girl. He nodded at the two, then headed back to his room. I recognize that girl...she's the one with emotion... he thought.

 

She raised a hand in a wave to Kanaye. Don't even know the guy's name....oh well.....hmm....that's going to possibly bother me later on....

 

Heh." She noticed something, she one of the only people who showed emotion, Maybe I inherited it from my par--.....just forget about it. Not seeing Kanaye, she asked Angel, "Do you think I'm weird?"

 

Kanaye stopped and leaned against the wall. "Still feel the same?" he asked Angel, hoping she would get what he meant. "Have you thought about it?"

 

"In all honesty, yes." Angel figured that even though Lina is a strange one, it keeps her days not as boring as everyone else's to watch her and see what other mischief she gets herself into."Yes. I still feel the same."

 

Kanaye shrugged. "Whatever," he said. He looked at Lina. "You're the one who got in trouble a while back, right?"

 

"That's just how I am, I guess" she looked at Kanaye, "Yea, I was".

 

"........>_>.....so......both of you don't like to be here......any particular reasons why?"

 

Kanaye sat down. "Because there's more out there, and I want to see it," he said in a whisper. "Being stuck in this city is torture. I gotta go and see what else is out there."

 

Lina shrugged, "What he said".

 

"....interesting....but...you do know that out there....is nothing.....but gases and nothing that can sustain life." One hides his emotions and dreams.....the other simply misbehaves and fully shows her emotions....

 

Kanaye smiled, an unusual action for him. "How do you know until you find out?"

 

She shrugged. "Regardless.....I don't prefer going on a potential wild goose chase. Besides....I'm too lazy to go and do something like that anyway."

 

"A wild goose chase would be better than shooting down innocent people," Kanaye stated. "And laziness has nothing to do with why you wouldn't go. I'll bet you're scared to get caught."

 

"....maybe so....maybe so...." Angel knew she wouldn't go. There was nothing out there for her. But there was nothing here for her either. ...I'll just have to get over my uneasiness of fighting...

 

"Does either of you know..." Kanaye whispered. "...what would happen if we DID try to escape?"
