Cloud Nine

"The future has been set. It is set in stone and unchanged. All you can do is follow in the footsteps of the plan for your life."​

These words once spoken by a great leader and president of the greatest place on earth: Bristoria. Bristoria: the city in the sky, the world above the sea, the metropolis on the clouds. The one place on earth that isn't tainted by the rest of the world; why, you may ask? This floating city has no connection to earth except by the flying aircraft that goes in between certain places to different areas. This convenience is only available to those with the right financial status...in other words: there's a large fee to pay to get in to the ship. The reason is because everyone in Bristoria has a special gift that lets them do something extraordinary: fly. Everyone outside Bristoria wants to do the same, so when they get a chance, they get their hands on one and break its neck. Once it's dead, they take them back to city walls, where no one else can claim them, and take them in for testing. The reason behind why they can fly is yet to be revealed.

Bio: Mek is a young boy who has been sheltered for his whole life by his parents and doesn't know of any other race or anyone else's world. He has a pair of blue wings on his back that make him a very curious case.

During an afternoon of playing tag-by-flight with his friends, he came across an object that was shimmering in the sunlight. He picked it up and held it towards the sun and it made a weird shadow. It was a blue-ish-green shade. the object itself was red. He looked at it and then off the edge. He looked out at the rest of the clouds. Nothing else but clouds was visible. He threw a rock he found beside out into the clouds and made a break in it that was small enough to see an island below them. He shone the weird object towards there and noticed he could see stuff below the clouds.

Bristoria Beach: The land below has friendly people working on a daily basis. They are generally fun-loving people.
They trust most everybody.
Inhabitants:


Gratoni Country: A gnarled land where mean inhabitants spend life in exile. Ground is barren and air is smoggy. Generally war-ridden on a regular basis.
They don't trust anyone.

Flatcher Jungle
A rather jungle-like area that savage people inhabit. The people are generally poor people who only trust each other.

Scargent Region
A water city that not many people know about. The people that do know about it are sworn to secrecy and are also the elders of each continent.
They're too paranoid to trust anyone except each other.

Metropoland
This area is a high-tech metropolis that feeds on electronics and equipment. Very high tech. People trust each other.

A land in the sky where ignorance really is bliss. Everyone has a pair of white wings except Mek and a few others. Mek has the blue pair.

As Mek looked hard at all these places he'd never seen, he leaned too far out and slid off the place. He began to fly and held himself up. He looked down as he flew up. After a few seconds, he flew in place and then started going back up. His mysterious object started glowing weirdly and his wings flashed a great flash and then stopped working. He fell down Bristoria Beach. Little did he know that he and his new found allies would soon turn the president's words into much and make him eat it.

Currently he got things from Metropoland to replace his missing wing...

OOC: Basically, you create your own storyline. Mek wants to explore the world on his own, because he's never seen the outside world before. He will meet up with good people and bad people. If I think your storyline is getting too...weird or off topic or something is wrong.
I'll contact via PM or something if you're too out of hand. We need other people as well, though. But we can start it off.

Mek awoke on the beaches and as he sat up and rubbed his head in pain, he looked into the sky and squinted.
"Home..." he started, "where am I?" he got up and turned around to see a funny short fellow staring him up and down. Mek stared at him and blinked. He was short and darker skinned and therefore unusual. Everyone he knew was pale white. "Can I help you?" Mek asked the man.
"Hehe, nope. All you can do is show me how you flew."
Mek looked at his wings.
"It's just sort of...a rhythm you gain...I guess."
The man nodded and walked away into his hut. Mek tilted his head a bit and looked over to see a rather large boat on the docks. He looked over and saw a plane that would go back up to Bristoria. "Decisions...do I go home? Do I stay here and explore?"
He headed for the docks.

 

Cerxos was sitting on the side of a cliff thinking i can never go back for what i have done but also laughed a little about all the problems he caused. one in particular he kept remebering was when a little child came running at him with a blade for killing his mother and all he did was trip and fall so the blade went through his eye and killed him and with a chckle he flew up into the air to see if there was any fun to be had

OOC: Remember it has to be kept very...PG. That was borderline, but alright, I guess. Also remember "ignorance is bliss". No one could ever find out. Someone could find out about that...
BIC: Mek came to the boat's captain and smiled at him. The captain gave him a stare and called for security to come get a stray Bristorian.
Mek tilted his head and went red.
"Look, I don't wanna go back! It's boring there! I wanna get out there and PLAY!"
The captain grinned and told him to go back and play tag before he got hurt.

BIC: cerxos landed on the bristoria beach and found a starfish on the beach and picked up a stick and poked it to see if it was alive he saw it was and put it back in the ocean then he went to the store bought a watermellon then sat down in a beach chair,then split in half with his katana and started to eat it

 

OOC: One hell of a run-on sentence xD
Keep in mind, Bristoria is about 400-500 feet off the ground. VERY high jump.

BIC: The alarm blared and he readied himself for whoever came his way. His friends wouldn't be able to match his strength that let him pin two poeple his size down. Not at once, mind you, but he was considered awesome among his group.
Instead of his friends coming out playfully, a group of people with guns and sticks came out ready to take him down and back. They would also erase his memory of ever leaving.
He curled into a ball, clutching the weird object still. "Help me...ANYBODY!" was all he could think.

 

hearing a cry Cerxos covered his face with a black mask that only showed his red eyes. he went to help Mek he pulled out his gun and loaded it with a special set of tranquilizers that would wipe the last 24 hours from anyones mind who had been shot with it. he landed in front of mek "i will help you because what they are doing is wrong." he emptied his clip of tranquilizers on the attackers and said to mek run as fast as you can get away from here. he handed him a cloak "use this to cover your wings but be warned now you are like me" his black wings burst out of his cloak so now run and hurry he then flew away

OOC: sorry for barging in i just thought masked villian saves hero one time was needed plus the scene fit really well and also now your character has a reason to explore

 

OOC: Truthfully, I was hoping you'd do something like this :)

BIC: Mek slipped it on and run as fast as he could onto the boat before noticing more guards coming his direction--from EVERY direction. He grabbed a branch from a tree and put the hood up so no one could see his face. He jumped in so he was back to back with him.
"Time to repay the favour, friend. Let's go!"

Cerxos loaded his gun with regular bullets and handed it to mek here i hope you know how to use one of these then he drew his katana and said dont worry after you get away they wont follow you again just take out the ones that matter and run i have your back

OOC: Cerxos's gun is probably something like a 9mm

BIC: Mek held it awkwardly. A GUN? Who was this guy kidding? No Bristorian except the Officers knew how to handle a GUN! He positioned it just like an officer would have and fired once, causing his arm to fall back a bit. "Ugh! This is...weird..." he put the gun in his pocket and grabbed his branch, hitting the others away. "I'm not going to leave unless you're coming with me! I don't want to be left alone...I need a guardian or body guard, and YER it!" Mek said, sounding rather spoiled.

 

fine by me Cerxos said as he pulled his katana from his sheath and started slicing down the ones in front of them. now brace yourself. his wings came out.then he took his mask off and said lets go he grabbed mek and flew off carrying him. then he said smugly bombs away and dropped a grenade full of knockout gas in the center of the group. ok next stop metropoland outskirts

BIC: Mek watched as everyone fell to the ground. "Are they gonna be okay?" he asked quietly as he held himself close.

Metropoland is just a few minutes away just relax i know the way.but listen carefully let no one know you are a bristorian or that you have wings.also know this never again can you go back to bristoria for even now there are erasing you from their records so in bristoria at least you do not exist. well we are here."Cerxos said as he set mek down."oh and here in case we get split up" he wrapped a leather belt around meks leg that had a knife and knife holster on it, "that is in case we spot any wild animals and have no supplies"

 

Fine, he has dark purple and navy blue cross colored wing... Um, and I wish to play 2... I am a Role Player that always plays 2 characters or more in a Role Play normally if that is okay... I feel sick as well so oy... -_-
