einstein and many other famous scientists were called stupid by their teachers when they were in school here they are trying to get rid of academic selection, which i think is the only thing keeping our education system afloat. i agree that basing everything on a test is wrong. its very easy to have a bad day and have years of work come to nothing (my worst fear) but what would you replace it with? its the same with government, ours sucks (well all governments around the world suck) but theres nothing better out there. IMO tests are really the only thing out there, but i think that a combination of testing and like teachers comments (ie classwork) would be better (please correct me if there actually is something).
the limit has nothing to do with life expectancy, its to do with at what age someone can handle the consequences and be able to support themselves. in northern ireland the age is 17 weird i know, but having a baby is all down to the person, some people are bad parents no matter what age they are at, some are natural parents.....as with most things it all depends
there have been many times when ive wanted to go back and change like everything, but then ive thought would i have all my friends? would i still be me? would i actually be any happier or would other things happen? its like in a game when you have to reload an old save, you try to redo everything as you had done but then maybe you forget something and it completely changes basically, there are a few things id change, but id be too scared of losing what i have now, even some of the bad things have lead to good things (>< hard to explain)
