I don't think so for most of the US. Businesses should accept different currencies (within reason) but salaries should always be in the currency of the country in question, unless as has been stated it is very close to the border, and even then it's a bit iffy.

The reason the president gets all the blame is because he is the public figure/figurehead for the government. To the majority of the people he IS the government, and the first to throw things at when things go wrong.

As for the fairness of politics, it will never be completely fair. A perfect democracy would involve every inhabitant being involved in every vote over everything which would slow down the process massively more than it already is. Atm, I think it's about as good as it's going to get in the UK. As long as humans are involved, there will always be faults.

Tbh, I think that adults aren't fit to vote, and anyway since when has a vote counted for anything? Doesn't in the UK anyway. There are some young people who have much more of a clue whats going on than adults and many adults who wouldn't know what was good for them if it hit them over the head with a fish.

In conclusion I just don't see the point in changing it.

Lol, there was a poll on Sky News and 3/4 of the British public thought the concerts wouldn't change anything. I already do lots of recycling and think I am pretty green, but then I think about what others are doing and my 'work' pales in comparison. Sigh, tbh I'm losing the will to care anymore............
