Sora snickered despite himself. Though Pika was a hardballer on these court things, there were times he could be so funny! "That was just weird." "I learned to not wish anymore. I never get what I want in a good way then." <.< "How come no one will answer the question of how a wimp like Demyx got into the Organization in the first place???" Repliku shrugged. This matter would plague him for a while most likely. Then again, he was joking about it too. It was just fun to say and maybe someone in the Org like Xemnas would entertain him or just try to smite him later. Of course, he had no idea if he was going to live after this whole thing was over at any rate. So he had no fear. He'd already died once after all. He only had 3 cases to have to sit through or 4...before he was going to enact his secret diabolical annoying plan anywhoo. Then it was time to escape.
OOC: I sent him a PM. Not sure he's around now. Really if he makes his final statement then we can go with this. We really don't have to 'argue' anymore charges really in themselves except to wait for Xelax's closing statement because the charges can be whatever as long as reasonable. It's up to the Judge to say guilty or not guilty yadda yadda *jig jig* HURRY ICSP. SLEEEPPY.
OOC: Someone bap ICSP to get his arse over here. I wanna see the verdict before I go to sleep. lol
There is almost no need for this thread any way since the person herself isn't responding. It's not too much fun going through a middle-man. heh. Just tell her to stop emoing and get her butt back here or else {insert weird comment here}
"I will have to disagree with Janexna at a couple parts and maintain my charges as they were due to the evidence. Also, Assault by Proxy is not applicable to Phil. Demyx -did- call them and they did his work for him, yes. He was the leader. Also it would be aggravated assault considering the Nobodies -ganged up- on Phil who was unarmed. Therefore I maintain Aggravated Assault on Phil. Assault at least. I do not think 'by proxy' spells out the charge as severe as it is to siccing foes on someone and then just running off when he states they were doing their 'own thing'. It's irresponsible and -at least- Assault should apply to attacking a weaponless person with a few Nobodies and fleeing the scene." "Assault on Sora, Donald and Goofy I will maintain, as whether Demyx attacked them with his -Sitar- or not, he used it to summon creatures that would attack. Also, most people point a gun and fire it. They don't go bash someone on the head with it regularly. Therefore, he used a weapon to cause a reaction and this reaction was again, another weapon. Therefore it should stay as Assault." "Assault the 3rd time, I leave that up to you your honor but as said, I want it noted that there is at least probable cause to believe that the counts of Assault against Sora, Donald and Goofy on Radiant Gardens by the Dancer Nobodies could be plausible as though it cannot be -directly- proven, there is sufficient evidence that most likely leads that it could be the truth. This would also be most likely by Proxy if approved." "On the theft, there really is no dispute and it should be maintained." "I believe I've stated my angle and as Janexna said, I will also await your final verdict now." One Count Aggravated Assault/Assault - Phil - Olympus Coliseum Three Counts Assault - Sora/Donald/Goofy - Olympus Coliseum Three Counts Assault - Sora/Donald/Goofy Radiant Gardens - by proxy Dancers One Count Theft - Olympus Stone
Well if you want Roxas, take Roxas. Someone else can take Sora who would like him. And I'll put up Larxene and Namine for you TN.
Really...Kira would be lonely without your drive and motivation. *nod nod*
Mandarin Chinese is easiest one of the absolute most difficult languages to learn. There are a ton of kanji, voice accents, mood things etc in the language and it is very demanding with structure. I know Russian, Spanish, some Japanese, German and do know a little bit of Mandarin but it is very difficult. On the language difficulty rankings used it is considered a 'class 4' meaning it's extremely difficult to learn when not being a native speaker. English and Japanese can be very difficult too, but no, not at that level. Trust me. lol
This is going to be closed as it is in the wrong area and there are already enough threads in the KH area about Sora and Riku being gay or other 'couples' for that matter. Check around there, please.
Harvey shrugged. "One count Aggravated Assault on Phil. He was unarmed and whether Demyx says he did not know what was going on with the other Nobodies, he was in charge and called them and let them do whatever. Since they cannot be held responsible, he therefore is and Phil was knocked out cold by the attack which was a ganged up maneuver." "Three counts Assault, one each for Sora, Donald and Goofy. No need to explain. Assault though instead of Aggravated Assault as Sora, Donald and Goofy could arm themselves and defend themselves and were able to get by the unwarranted attack." "Three accounts of Assault again for Sora, Donald and Goofy - one each for using the Dancer Nobodies which are under his control to attack the three at Radiant Gardens. I do not expect this to stick but there is enough evidence to present this as a fact and the attack was done prior to the battle between Demyx and Sora the 2nd time. However, I would like it to be acknowledged as evidence whether charges are given for it or not. No one else controlled the Dancer Nobodies until the end where Xemnas took control of them when Demyx was gone, same as when Axel was labeled a traitor and his control over Assassin Nobodies was failing." "And the theft of the Olympus Stone. No need to explain that either really as the gods of Olympus identified him and Hercules declared it openly that it was stolen and the person identified along with Nobody accomplices." "These are the charges I am placing forward and if Mr. Power is content with them." He looked over at Pika and then shrugged. "Okay..well again we aren't in unity so go with the charges you see fit, Your Honor. We'll just go with that decision."
Cross Examination I work a lot of hours and it sucks. Kinda have to though so I have money for college in the fall. Just try to get out sometimes and do something relaxing at times and that can help. But yeah, you are kick ass so no emoing, man. I'd miss one of my greatest debaters around here if you flew off.
I'm going to go ahead and close this thread since it is rather pointless and it's a versus thread between two Heartless that I don't think anyone really cares about. PM me if there are any issues with this decision.
He posted it because people get tired of seeing threads like this where people say 'no one will miss me' blah blah. I feel bad people who are leaving that feel that way and have to come here and say such things and emo out, but anymore I also feel sorry for those of us who have to read it and respond. All it does is make people either sick of it like Beat or to sit here and try to coax the person and say it's not that bad, like others. In the end this is just a forums and no one is seldom hated by -everyone- despite what they think. Those of us not down on our lives -know this-. Also, I barely know SoS so whatever was done must have been small. If a couple/few people did some stupid things to you, oh well. That's them. It doesn't by any means say that the whole forum can't stand the person and really if a person can't deal with a forum of people, they need to grow some thicker skin. We are all -not- that bad. I hope SoS, you reconsider but if not, have a good life and cheer up some. Life is too short to be worrying about stupid things like what a couple jerks think about you on a forum when there are a lot of others in life and here that wouldn't feel the same way.
Harvey shook his head. "I would suggest just going with the two testimonies as they are sufficient and enough. I believe Demyx has some things he's avoiding but one of them I finally got out of him and the other is not so important. We should move on and not do this, Pika", he advised. There really was no merit in his mind to calling up Xemnas. If there was a reason to call up Xemnas, it would have been pertaining to Marluxia instead or against one of the other Org members, such as Axel. Really this wasn't necessary and Xelax pretty much had summed it up. He couldn't argue with his point either. "Demyx in the end seems to have been little more than an errand boy to the Organization, not really doing much into the actual mechanizations other than what exactly he was told to do. Let's just wrap this up." Sora sighed. He just wished Demyx's case would be done with. He was worried for him but also for Axel who came next and had done various things more and less than Demyx. Repliku yawned. "Demyx is such a wuss. I -do- wonder how a wimp like that got into Organization XIII. Then again, I also wonder why I was there at all so it's all good."
I know many men and women that don't like the color simply because for some reason 'pink' became known as the effeminate color for women. If guys use it, they are called gay. If women don't want to use it they are called gay. That would mainly be the reason there. I don't mind pink but can't say I like it as a favorite color either. Also, to me girls look hotter in red than pink any day. ^_^
Vote Darkwatch! He's our man, if he can't do it, Nobodies can...
Gooooooooooooood MoOOorrning Vietnam!
Harvey poked Pika. "We're done with questioning on this end unless the Defense wants to bring someone up. I think the two testimonies are enough." Harvey didn't believe some of what Demyx said as it made little sense. Was he -really- that much of a gopher to the Organization that he never paid attention to much in it? Maybe it was true, but the thing with the Nobodies still bothered him. It made no sense since he also took them with him to get the stone in the first place and also he had Dancers at Radiant Gardens that attacked Sora freely. He felt that Demyx there was skirting the issue but there was no need to keep asking and asking.
I would say that though we are influenced by society, raised into things such as religions, what education we get, how our environment affects us, etc, if someone is self-aware, he or she should be able to make decisions and look around at the environment and 'expectations' and take what he/she wants from it. Any animal in nature is raised by parents and reacts to environment and that rearing etc but also can make some decisions. We aren't so much different, even if we are more sentient, take in a lot more and can say we have a lot more to be influenced by. Some people may seem to not be 'individuals' and all but in the end we all are. This is where I would say the word 'real' comes into play over 'fake'. We all know people who just do things because of wanting to fit in stereotypes, share biases with others because it's the 'cool' thing to do and follow every fad out there because it 'must' be done. Others, however, choose to investigate their world, check into things, ponder and discover and also set their own style, way they choose to think and set up their own core beliefs whether it goes along with others or not. There's nothing wrong with following a fashion or fad so long as you actually 'like and enjoy' it and it isn't done by peer pressure to be 'cool' or because that's what others 'demand' of you. Being real with yourself is what makes us capable of being individuals and our own selves. Being drones is what makes us -seem- to not be people owned by our own selves. I do feel a lot better about myself since I did give up on just 'following the crowd' and it didn't make me 'radical' either. I am more at peace for it and can see others who are not at peace because they are doing things they feel are 'expected' of them but yet they really don't want to be there in it. There isn't a thing alive that doesn't have to adjust to an environment etc but at the same time, each animal has its own personality and we do too. We just have to be willing to use the personality and develop it in our fashion. Also, we are our own person when we decide to follow or break away. It's a conscientious choice to do either. A big part of being a child is play and development and examining the world around you. A big part of being a teenager is questioning all those rules and orders that parents and other adults in your life have given you to structure your life. A big part of being an adult is having some of those questions you asked as a teenager answered and molding your life to the way you want to be. Whether it follows a 'norm' or not, we are still individuals. The thing with humans is that we are also very social creatures and mirror many things easily. So this can make lines fuzzy at times.
I don't believe a 'hero' is a permanent state of being for any one person but anyone can have moments of heroism. I.e. I wouldn't call myself a hero even though I've helped some people considerably and saved a couple lives here and there because I've also done some rotten things to other people. It's a state of the moment where you decide what are you going to do that can save something and you put your own safety on the line, or just take out efforts and time for something that benefits others. We are all complex people with more than one aspect of our natures. No one can be 'Superman' etc. Even the 'heroes' that are made up are 'good guys or girls' while they are doing good things but regular joes otherwise. Cin's poem there really sums it up nicely to say what I'm writing here. Anyone can do heroic acts but no one is truly a hero all the time. It just isn't possible. Kind of like labeling someone an idiot. They cannot be stupid all of the time. We have a lot of labels for people that are really more meant to express a state of being at a moment. As for the stars, some do heroic nice acts like donations and offer time and effort to great projects around the world. Those people would be doing something heroic. As for others that are just there to make money, look good, be sports idols etc... I wouldn't call those people as being heroic at all. Until they do something decent and all, they are just regular folks making too much money for what they do.
