Riku never wielded the Keyblade when he was dark. He had darkness within him but the Keyblade left him when he chose darkness over light. Also, the Dark Keyblade doesn't really count as it was a manifestation temporary faux Keyblade used for a purpose and combined of the hearts of the Princesses but also Darkness. As for Sora..it was known that anyone who is not a PoH basically has Darkness in him/her. However, Sora's Darkness was pretty pathetic if you think on it, considering he changed into a Shadow, which is the bottom of the totem poll for Heartless. It is the basic 'proof' we need to say he was not evil really. To make another point, he has the 'choice' to become better or worse. The forms he has in KH2 support this as they are potentials he will rise to as he becomes more powerful. Valor - for strength of spirit and body, Wisdom for knowledge and magic. Master, mastering both fields strongly. And then there's Anti-Form. Which comes around when he abuses forms too much, relying on power too much which is a representation that power could corrupt him if he's not careful. His final form is that he's complete and goes on to being a whole person that won't be corrupted since even Anti-Form won't work if it is called forth. So, Sora has the potential as anyone would to become 'evil' since he has Darkness in his heart, but the chances are low so long as he does what he is supposed to and doesn't avoid it or become power obsessed.
I used item synthesis a tremendous lot since I boosted Sora and Riku up ridiculously in strength, defense, magic etc. They waltzed through the final boss stuff because of it. I gave some to Donald and Goofy but Sora is always maxed out because I'm that bored. I also had the urge to finish the journal which includes getting the characters their top weapons and getting items of every kind so synthesis was a must.
I have had less problems really with Catholics than I have with other groups such as Evangelical Protestants and their side groups. They will speak out avidly and protest at the worst of times such as funerals or soldiers returning home etc. I think the sign is a good thing. If Christians can put out their signs everywhere and post what they want to around, why can't Atheists, Muslims, Buddhists, etc? As long as the message isn't hateful, I see no issues with people being able to say what they want to. I don't get on Christians though I may have some issues such as when they post signs saying 'God in Government' which I stand strongly against, but at the same time, I don't ask it to be removed. It is opinion. There is a strong sense of 'martyrdom' in some religions that simply just doesn't belong there when they are very dominant in the world. Atheists don't hate Christians. We just don't believe in the same religious views. In the end, religious views do not make the person who they are. We have many similarities outside of religious views that can make people friends and I can say I have many friends of countless beliefs but we come together because morally we feel similar. I.e. we don't approve of stealing, killing, brutalizing, rape, political views, etc. In the end, the sign to me seems to be fine and not saying anything anymore harmful than when people put up signs saying things about any deity or the son of God. It's a viewpoint that isn't slanderous. I hope England will fight to maintain the signs as they were paid for and any group can do the same.
