Guy redid Lee's appearance to make him look like Guy, giving him a bowl-cut and a green fighting suit. Lee cannot use Genjutsu or Ninjutsu like the other Shinobi of Konoha, but excels greatly at Taijutsu, the art of Hand-to-Hand combat. Like Might Guy, Lee has the ability to unlock "The Eight Gates", which upon opening, give Lee a great increase in strength and speed. When Lee was but a young Ninja, he was only able to open up to the fifth gate, the Gate of Limit. Though his training during the time skip from Naruto to Naruto Shippuden may have allowed him to go further.

"Anything else?" ~Snowy Hill~ Ryu smiled as the Satsui no Hado's influence slipped away. "Yes. That is completely acceptable. Thank you." Naruto happened to notice the seal on Ryu's hand. "That's kinda like the seal I've got on me." Naruto lifted his shirt slightly, revealing the seal that was imprinted on his torso. "It basically does the same thing as that." "Wait, you've got the Satsui no Hado, too?" "No, not that. It's a nine-tailed fox spirit that was sealed inside me when I was a baby. Whenever I get really angry or emotional, it starts to overtake me...It comes in stages, which are represented by my appearance. First, these lines on my face open and resemble whiskers. Next, a red aura begins to come over me. I've never seen anything past that, since the Kyuubi takes over at that point." "I see...That must be horrible." It's not that bad now...The seal's been strengthened, so I shouldn't have any incidents with the Kyuubi for a while." Just then, yelling could be heard coming toward Naruto. "Dynamic..." Naruto turned around, only to be met with a blue shoe to the face. "Entry!!" The attacker jumped off of Naruto, revealing Naruto's bruised face that was marked with a boot mark. "Naruto! I finally found you! We've been looking all over for you!" Naruto looked up to see his fellow Shinobi, Rock Lee. "Bushy Brow*?" "Present and accounted for." "Wait, I thought that move was Super Bushy Brow-Sensei's thing? And who's 'We'?" "It is, and now it's mine too. And 'We' is all of Konoha! Ever since you disappeared, we've been looking for you! We even postponed the repairs to the village." Naruto stood up and brushed the snow off of him. "Uh, Lee...You do know that you're not on the same planet anymore...Right?" "...What? But..." "You didn't notice the world-wide invasion?" "Yes, I did. But I was knocked out during the invasion. When I woke up, it was over." "It never ended. We were all taken off of the planet." "..."
