"They'd probably just ignore, nibble, or bite him."
"About Sephana? Raja won't care."
Nah, this stuff's easy right now, 'sides, my dad helps me pretty good. I remember him saying that in simplifying expressions, the x's and y's are like apples and oranges. "Very bad."
"He is of darkness now, besides he's like a mini version of the one I thought was my father."
I know. Just learned today how to do it with multiplication. "Why do you think that?"
"I believe you do the same thing." Don't quote me on that since it's been ages since I've done that. Currently working on substitution.
"You have to add or subtract each number together so there's only one of each. You can't add or subtract the x's and y's together or with other numbers, only with other x's and y's."
"I'm assuming you have to simplify these expressions?"
He picked her up and put her down on his chest. "Let me see your homework."
"Ah yes, math. Simple for me but the normal people struggled at it around high school level."
"Bring it to me and I'll see if I can help you."
"Did they assign you any homework?"
"His name is Sora. He is your grandpa on your mother's side."
He snickered. "Good that you put them in their place."
"What do you mean they teased you about everything but your height? Did you do what I suggested?"
"So, how was school?"
He headed back into his room before putting her on one side of his bed and laying down on the other.
"You wanna go sleep?" He asked Sephana.
"Do what you want to him."
"Good. We have a new, quite stubborn puppet that needs to be taken down a few pegs if you're up to it."
