I don't live in the city, I live in the wasteland, but I dream of one day living close to the city or at least close to a grocery store.

    X3 You're too cute.

Your sketching style is just too lovely, and with the choise of lineart colour makes it even more effective. Not to mention unique, I actually remember some of your earlier work now.

I... don't have any critique for you this round. This drawing is close to faultless.

And lmfao at the face you added to the left.

Man, that sucks. :x The disadvantage of doing things digitally would be for that reason I guess. Hope you'll give your Riku another go though.

    Anywhoooooooooooooooooooo

Your anime school girl is giving me a Hinata vibe here. You know, that ninja girl from Naruto. :> Most of all it's the eyes doing that since they don't have any shape or shading in them so far. *I know this is progress work of course, some people I know keep the eyes empty before starting the actual colouring work* But it's also the sweet personality expression she's giving out, she looks unsure but curious.

If you can, make the neck slimmer, if necessary you might want to shorten it as well. Like it is now it just seems too thick for the body and head overall. It only takes a little.

Dude, the style itself is just rad - I'd kill to be able to draw as simplisticly like you are doing. <3

Though it's easy to bork up on the anatomy if you forget to keep in mind the basic build up of a human body. In your case, mostly you ended up either making the neck/shoulder area too tall/slimish. The propotions are close enough to the real thing, just those tiiiiiny details that adds the round shapes of the bodyparts, you know? If there's something that you should concentrate about it's to avoid making the arm looking like a straight line - it's a tricky part of the body, but always remember the joints that are there no matter how stiff and wide spaced the clothes may be.

If I were to give you suggestion, let the simplicity style be on a break for now. Try out something new, work on some random sketches where you use guidelines for the body, orbs for the joints etc. You may know what I'm talking about, if not you should take a look at the tutorial sticky regarding basic human anatomy. Why should you do this? You'll end up being aware of how the body works, even a tall and slim one. So the next time you go for the simplistic style your conscience will have more knowledge as you draw the figure. It's always smart to learn new things to add to your style. :3

Your style in paintings is really wonderful! I mean, your shading style is of the sharp style but it works so well with your choice of motives. It doesn't even have distracting elements, more of a fresh feeling if I were to choose a word that would fit what I feel over your art. The dogs and flowers looks very realistic to me just by seeing the shapes, the composition is pretty nice. :3

I envy the person who gets to hang that painting on his or her wall, it's a really lovely piece. Keep at it!

I said I would post and now I post, rawr.

Left girl's expression = WIN FOREVER. End of discussion, it says so much even if it's so simplified like it is - it's the magic of chibi art. X3

Lovely lineart, the swooshyness of your strokes helps out making the whole picture look so much more alive. When it looks like it was drawn so easily with no effort at all, it means it's done very well from your side. It doesn't end up looking so stiff. Kudos to you, dearest. :3

Propotions looks pretty good and acurate on the leftie, maybe not have the arms so long on the rightie. They seemed too long for chibi arms. If I were to suggest a spot, the hands should be at the hips hight.

Draw more once you feel the inspiration kicking in again - your stuff is looking better for each time I look at them. :3
