OOC: Lol, that's fine. xD IC: Jaster smirked from behind his helmet. He waited until Steve was only a few feet from him, then said, "Take a hard look at this then!" He pulled a flash grenade out of his belt, activating it and closing his eyes just as Steve was about to punch him. The grenade went off, causing a bright burst of light and sending both men flying back a few feet. Jaster got up shakily, dazed only by the force of hitting the ground.

They won't be all cute and cuddly in-game, haha. The bull is actually one of seven main characters (bull, tiger, wolves, eagle, dragon, lion); each have their own significant part of the story, which the player will eventually find and understand the main "puzzle" behind the story. They all have their strengths and weaknesses but don't necessarily balance each other out. When I have a decent amount of work done on the game I might release a short version on KHV, but we'll see. xD Yeah, they are, but I'm just happy I didn't have to scratch build the whole thing @_@ Thanks. :]
OOC: Lol, thanks. xD Anyway, we can start now. IC: Rei stared at the rain from the window of her room. The experience in the game had been completely surreal, and she still wasn't sure if she accepted that it had all actually happened. Everything in the "game" had been so real, right down to the small monsters she had to defeat before being able to exit the game. It was an amazing feeling to play though, even if it was dangerous - when had she ever before been able to feel the weight of the armor she wore, or smell the stench of the monsters as they vaporized when her weapon sliced through them? It had been an intense adrenaline rush, and though she knew it was probably not a good idea to play again, she wanted to. "No," she muttered to herself, "I need to get a grip first." Turning her TV off, she grabbed her keys and walked out of her house, locking the door behind her. Rain usually helped her clear her thoughts, so she decided to take a long walk to the park before trying to play again.
"Stay safe, lad," Jaster shouted after Darren. "I hope he knows what he's doing..." He turned his attention back to Steve. "Yeah, Mandalorian iron will do that," he spat back, sidestepping and avoiding the lunge. "Tell me, vampire, how good's your eyesight?"
Jaster grunted from the force of the other man's punch. He staggered back several steps, then regained his balance. "Not bad, but I've been hit by banthas harder than that," he said. "Damn...of course my flamethrower is what got destroyed..." Switching to his helmet's internal communication, he said, "Do I have anything else that can cause a burn?" After several minutes of dodging attacks and delivering some of his own, his HUD displayed the indication of his wrist rockets. "Bingo," he muttered, then switched the helmet back to external communication and said, "Darren! Would an explosion be a good substitute for the sun?"
As some of you might know, I'm doing a year-long research project on video games, and my actual project is making a game. I'm using RPG Maker VX so most of the NPCs are defaults, but my "main character" sprites I decided to make. It was hellish and I'll probably never want to do it again. 8D Anyway.
