Kira pressed the knife against her hair, closed her eyes, and cut. It felt to the floor in one great wave. She shook her shoulder length hair, smiling. Slipping into her old clothes, she layed the knife on the counter, and went back into the bedroom.

Kira sighed, then slid down the wall, leaning her head back. She was so tired. It was hard being on the run for so long, and it certainly didn't help that she hadn't eaten in a while.

Kira stepped out of the shower. She wrapped herself in a towel, then bent down, retrieving the knife from inside her jeans. She held it up, looking at it.
