Dai ran her hand along the spine of the book. It's so old... She opened to the first page. 'Dedicated to my daughter'... Dai smiled a bit at the dedication page.
Dai sat with her back against a shelf. She reached above her head and grabbed a book from the shelf.
"Whatever." Dai headed towards the library.
Dai stopped and faced Panzela. "Why don't you just go back and tell my father something random?" She said through grit teeth. Kairuto was pale and sweating. His breathing rate increased. "Rei..." "Yeah...?" Rei's voice was distant. "Rei! You're okay?!" Kairuto was happy to hear from Rei, but his body remained motionless. "Yeah... It'll be... a while... before I can... do anything..." Rei showed Kairuto in his mind how much power he had. "I'll do my best then... once I can move again." Kairuto said.
Kairuto breathe steadily. Rei...? Niisan...? Dai stuffed her hands in her pockets and kept walking. OOC: kk ^^
Dai clenched her fists, stood up, and walked away.
Dai didn't answer. I'm alone now... This is good. Now I don't have to worry about anyone missing me.

Kairuto's eyes blinked open. Everything was blurring and he couldn't hear well. "Rei...? Rei? Hey, answer me, Rei." He tried to move but his body felt like it weighed a ton. Niisan....
Rei's wings disinagrated. "See ya... partner..." "Wait! Rei, what do you-?!" Kairuto felt an immense pain in his head. Rei passed out and collapsed. He slowly changed back to Kairuto.

OOC: you're that person ^^ BIC: Orochimaru smirked. He moved to make hand signs. Satoshi pinned Orochimaru's arm with a kunai. Orochimaru's face fell. Impossible!
Rei extended one of his wings and gently wiped Becky's tears with the soft feathers. He smiled through the pain. "Don't be sad..." Kairuto felt like something was being torn away from him. "Rei?!" "Hang in there..." Rei shut his eyes. "I won't be able to do much after this... but I'll still be here... Keep your sister safe..."

"This is gonna hurt. Can you handle it, buddy?" Rei asked. Kairuto didn't hesitate. "Bring it on." "You know what this means, don't you?" Rei wanted to make sure Kairuto was okay with this. "I don't care! My sister's life is on the line! Just do what you have to!" Kairuto said. Rei smiled a bit. He held up his hands. "Better?"
OOC: Thanks BIC: Orochimaru was hit backwards by Satoshi's jutsu and into Gaara's. Satoshi watched and waited for a moment. He's not moving... Why..? She walked up to Orochimaru slowly, stopping a couple feet away.
