What do you do to try and distract yourself from it? Rather than doing what you're doing BECAUSE you dont want to be depressed, find something poisitive that you genuinely enjoy about it. Focus your energy on that positivity, and you are set! For example: you may play video games to distract yourself. Think about what led you to buy that game in the first place. Think about how much you enjoy that game. Positive energy....and there you go!

Other things you can do: Go swim, go play, go exercise. Teach yourself how to play a musical instrument, get addicted to a TV show, go to your local park and go on the swings!

I also agree with Neku, cheering someone up helps alot!(believe me)
Last week, my ex (who is now a very good friend of mine) was really upset because his grandmother had passed. I cheered him up the only way I knew how to: I played tetris with him online like we used to and texted him every night to make sure he was okay. He really appreciated it, a lot.

Little things you can do for other people can put a smile on your own face. Dont give up now. Take your heart medication and think about people you love. The reason why you have this depression is because you keep circling around your own problems. Try to think about the positive aspects of your life. It sounds like crap, but really think about it. Dont give up now, its not worth it

    Paintings

As an art student, I actually can't stand surrealism because of all the little symbols it hides. Call me immature, but yeah, bleh.
I won't bore you with my facts, just that if you notice anything 'dirty' about a surrealist painting, its supposed to be >.< I hate my art teacher.

ANYWAY There was this one painting called 'An Allegory of Venus and Cupid' and the way my art teacher explained it to me, it pretty much represents everything I believe in about love. The fact that people, men especially, change. The fact that it starts well, but can turn pretty sour. The fact that many people put on 'masks' in relationships to impress the other person. The artist was trying to represent the complexities of love, and its effects on others. Its one of my favourite paintings just because of that meaning. I'd post a link but it would probably be flagged for nudity. Look it up if you want though :P

There is a lot of grey, that is true, but I think most humans can judge good from bad naturally. See, every society has its laws which say what is legal and what is not. That is the government's attempt at organising a society so that we don't end up in complete chaos. Is the aim of the criminal justice system not to make sure criminals don't strike again? Even still, humans themselves can look at the effects of their actions, and judge whether or not their actions were good or bad.

When you were little, you probably made a lot of trouble around the house, as most young kids do. If you remember your mother's expression when she found out what you did, was she mad? As a child, humans can develop a sense of good and bad from what is going on around them-from the emotions they are feeling and the emotions that are being felt. This lays pretty much a solid foundation of morality. The way we were raised, along with the laws of our society, those things judge good and bad.

Then of course there's the grey: Things like bio-ethical issues that are still being worked out. IMO these issues are fine to be legal. They might not be GOOD, but that is up to the human to decide.

But its like Misty said, morality is subjective-what is good for one person is bad for another. Most extreme things, the human can naturally tell that its good or bad, but the grey areas depend on the individual. There is such a thing as morality, just not the kind of morality that suits every human being

I'm pretty sure that made absolutely no sense whatsoever, but there you go

Maybe you should have told them you need a little break before blocking them?

    Otherwise, just ignore them :)

My ex-boyfriend was like this. I would tell him that I needed peace and quiet for a while so I wouldn't be replying for a while. Then he would text me obsessively until I replied, to the point where he said "Why don't you love me anymore?" At that point I just wanted to shoot him
