I mean, it's adorable (because all of Jayn's creations are so kawaii-desu), but you still stand no chance of crushing CatKat.

Cat looked over at the boy who'd also been rummaging through an older book. If memory served, he was the one Glen had launched into Karina, so she already felt for him a little. Still, he didn't seem like he was generally so innocent. He introduced himself and without looking away from the pages of her volume, she replied. "Name's Cat. I'm looking for healing magic. Something a little stronger than a cure." She heard him mention riddles, and then a guardian of some sort. She looked up at him, now interested in what he was doing. Maybe seeking out some kind of healing guardian was what she needed to do. He promptly asked if she was good with riddles, and she couldn't hold back a smile. "I'd like to think so. In fact, you might as well call me Professor Layton." She loved that game back home. The whole series was puzzle and riddle based, and she'd beaten every single one near to completion.

Cat followed the duck to the Hall, along with several other wielders she didn't know. In fact, the only one she did know was Luna, but they hadn't spoken since the last time they left the Land of Departure. As they walked, she thought about all this time travel. She was into her science-fiction, but this was ridiculous. Moving whole worlds "forward or backward on their timeline" was impossible. They promptly came to a set of doors, interrupting her train of thought. She looked up at the sigil on each. Both held half a heart, but one side had a demon's wing and another had an angel's. She had to admit the duality of it was impressive, on top of just looking really cool. He opened the doors and they stepped inside.

She'd never seen anything so incredible. Any library she'd ever been to was dark, old and musty. This place, however, was the complete opposite in every way. The windows let plenty of light flood the room, and every little thing looked spotless and new. Though for what she wanted, spotless and new probably wouldn't work. Older material would probably suit her needs. She was pulled out of her appreciation of the library, however, by conversation between Dewey and a man named Seiza. From what she heard, she figured he was the type to spend all his time in here. However, he'd apparently been monitoring the worlds and growing frustrated with his findings. He acknowledged the group and showed them a telescope that could apparently look at any world -- so long as they knew its coordinates. As much as she wanted to see how her home was doing, she had no idea of where it was. She wanted to ask Seiza where the older books on magic would be, but he left before she had the chance. She sighed and moved away from the window to some of the shelves in the back. She eyed each book's binding, some of which had writing in a language she didn't understand, and eventually found an older volume. Its age was definitely visible all around, with blackened or yellowed pages and worn out covers. It was heavy, and she brought it back out to the table under the window, nearly collapsing as she dropped it on the surface. "If this place doesn't have anything... No. This place has to have something." With that thought, she opened it up and began going through the book.

The fact that this is for PotS makes me happy.

But my nub is here and I hope you know what ship she's sailing. It's the only one I'll accept...
