Sora silently held Kairi's gaze, silence lingering around them. He really didn't have anything to say anymore. However, if Kairi wanted to say something, then he would definitly listen. So what if he was still a little hurt by her actions; now was what really mattered. OOC: Okay, bye!
Oh, you have to get off now? Okay then. xD Thanks! I'll try to get on sometime Saturday to let you know what's going on with my busy social...
Once the hair was back behind Kairi's ear, Sora took back his hand, lightly setting it in his lap. He held Kairi's gaze, silently reassuring her that he would try to forget about his emotions and move on.
If I do suddenly get off, then I'm saying bye now. BYE! xP
Sora's eyes softened at Kairi's eyes, the teen seeing some guilt in the depths of her eyes. He hadn't meant to bring up that emotion, but he supposed it was only natural, considering the circumstances. Without thought, he moved his free hand, bringing it to Kairi's face as he tucked back some of her hair.
Alrighty then. xD
Sora looked down at the girl, though she wasn't looking back up at him. He did have a reason to be upset, yes. But he knew that Kairi was sorry, and for that reason, he would try to let it go and move forward. Love held no record of wrongs. "I forgive you," Sora stated softly. "I know you were just doing what you thought was right. I'll get over it."
If the site keeps freezing, I may just get off. I'm pretty sure my mom is kicking me off within the hour, anyway.
"I know, baby," Sora said quickly, hearing weariness in Kairi's voice. He wasn't trying to make her feel guilty, but he could see now that was exactly what he was doing. He pulled Kairi closer without thought, wanting to let her know through that simple gesture that he still loved her. "I'll get over it," he said simply, leaving it at that.
"If I was in your position, I probably would have done the same thing," Sora said softly, pausing for a moment between sentences. What he was about to say would probably upset both of them, but it did need to get out in the open. "But the fact that you went against me...even after I told you I didn't want you going...that hurt. A lot. And the way your purposely toyed with my emotions, so I wouldn't know what was really going on--" Sora stopped himself there, biting on his lip lightly as he gazed a tthe wall. He felt like a fool, falling for something like that. But then again, he really didn't have any reason to suspect that Kairi was up to anything.
Anything Right- P.O.D.
Again, Sora nodded faintly. He understood that. "I know that, Kairi," Sora said softly. There was nothing mean behind his words, no anger in his tone. He recognized that if he had been in Kairi's position, he may have done the same thing. But still...the fact that she had gone behind his back stung.
Boom- P.O.D.
Sora nodded faintly, the teen lifting his gaze to the wall in front of him. He looked at it blankly, not really focusing on that. The brunette had expected an answer like that, so he wasn't too surprised by Kairi's words. "You're right," he started. "I wouldn't have let you go."
Never Be the Same- RED
Ok, that works for me.
"Earlier..." Sora started quietly, his eyes staying on the hand as he spoke. "...Why didn't you tell me?" He was referring to Kairi leaving his home without telling him...leaving despite his protests that she didn't get involved. That had hurt him pretty badly, knowing that the one person he trusted with everything went behind his back, pretty much lying to keep her secret.
Confession (What's Inside My Head)- RED
Yup, sounds good.
Kairi's one word answer hung in the air for a few moments, and Sora let it be that way, unable to think of anything to say. This was a touchy situation, and he certainly didn't want to make it worse by saying anything stupid at the very start.
