Aww, hope you feel better. =( I've been sick on and off for about a week now..not fun. Writing for school or a fanfic? ;D
Namine's eyes widened at the movement, but she wasn't nearly as surprised as Kairi had been. She instinctively set a hand on Roxas' chest, her wide eyes wandering up to him. "You're gonna throw us in?" she mused aloud, trying to slow her fast heartbeat. Sora grinned at Namine, seeing how quickly she connected the dots. "That's right," he confirmed with a nod. He looked back down at Kairi again, that playful smile still on his lips.
Glow- Britt Nicole
That's no problem, I've been busy too. Soccer yesterday and then family stuff Sunday. You feeling better? =/ Oh, and soon I'll be off to get...
"Yeah!" Namine said with a smile, turning to face Kairi and the others. But a sudden movement caught her eye, and she then turned her attention to that. Sora grinned and moved closer to Kairi before he bent down slightly, slipping one arm around Kairi's back and the other under her legs. He then picked her up without much effort and looked down at her, that playful grin still in his lips. "Ladies first, Roxas," he said, looking up at his friend now. Hopefully his best friend would take the hint.
Change My Name- Trading Yesterday
Hello! It's been a while! =)
Sora set his shirt on the table, his eyes immediately wandering to the pool. And then he looked at Kairi, who had just taken off her tank top. He looked away and gazed at the pool, thinking again how much fun it would be to throw Kairi into the pool. He'd do that as soon as he had the chance, that was for sure. Namine casually folded her arms, looking casually from Sora and then to the pool. She couldn't wait to get in there...the water looked like it would be extremely refreshing.
What I'm Dreaming Of- Trading Yesterday
Namine put her extra clothing in her bag and looked back to the pool, the scene not changing in the few seconds she looked away. It wasn't surprising the pool was busy; it was a very hot day. Sora took off his shirt, revealing a scar on his side from the blade he had been hit with a couple weeks ago. He had gotten so used to it being there that he hadn't thought about his friends, who had never seen it before.
Namine headed in behind Sora, noticing Roxas motion her forward. She went through the line and entered the area, her eyes immediatly catching onto a lot of people having fun in the pool already. And then she looked around and saw Sora, who was standing over by some shaded tables where they could place their stuff. She wordlessly headed over there, wanting to set down her bag and take off her tank top and capris before she got into the pool.
Sora grinned. "Then let's go!" he said excitedly, smiling to the girls and then to Roxas. Suddenly, he had an idea--as soon as possible, he would throw Kairi into the water. But first, they had to go in, so he was the first to get into the line, use his pass, and enter.
Okay, see you later!
Sora took his hand off Kairi's back when they were right in front of their friends, using it to wave once. "Hey," he said, smiling. "You guys ready to get out of the heat?" He definitely was ready; the temperature had increased as he and Kairi walked to the pool. Namine nodded in response to Sora's question. "Absolutely," she said with a smile. She and Roxas had only been out there a few minutes, but the heat was already starting to get to her.
Okay, thanks for telling me. =) Any idea when you can get back on?
Sora caught up to Kairi and walked beside her, one of his hands lightly pressed against her back as they headed to the pool. About ten minutes later, they were just getting there. The Keyblade wielder noticed Roxas and Namine right away, the two of them waiting outside the entrance. Namine looked up when she thought she saw a redhead out of the corner of her eye. She waved when she saw her friends, a smile appearing on her lips. She was wearing capris and a pink tank-top, her one piece blue and brown floral swimsuit underneath her clothing.
Sora released Kairi completely, his smile widening both in excitement to go to the pool and in response to Kairi. It was amazing how often she sensed exactly what he needed. He reached inside the door and grabbed his towel before shutting the door behind him, ready to go.
Sora finally released Kairi, his hands going to her shoulders. But before he pulled back completely, he planted a light kiss on her cheek. A small smile appeared on his lips when he met her gaze. "We better go," he stated, "or Roxas is gonna kick my butt," he said with a grin, some playfulness coming through in his voice at the mention of his best friend.
Sora exhaled a soft breath, his gaze falling to the ground as he became less tense. He lightly ran his hand over the back of Kairi's hair a few times, not really thinking, but just enjoying the moment while it lasted. He'd release her in just a moment--after all, they needed to get to the pool.
Sora looked down at the girl, confusion washing over his features. But he pushed away the confusion and wrapped his arms around Kairi, feeling so much better now that he was holding her again. He put one of his hands lightly on the back of her head, his eyes shutting as the side of his head touched the side of hers.
