Party's over, everyone go home.
Please tell me you got the family pack.
My parents are gonna kill me if this doesn't curve.
Slang didn't used to be added to dictionaries. This is a very disturbing trend, because language naturally grows and changes over time but in the last century people seem to have been facillitating and encouraging wide sweeping changes. Fifty years ago, commentate was not a word. Fifty years ago, administrate was not a word. The words that everyone used for those were comment and administer. Administrate has fallen out of fashion and commentate has narrowed its meaning thankfully, but what's really worse than new words is the constant addition of new contronyms. Literally and peruse are the biggest examples. You'll take notice that with peruse, the secondary definition has moved from informal to alternative. Things stick when we document them. I know most people just write this off as another flaw of English, but I believe that it is a flaw in the culture that is so concerned with progress and keeping up.
I'd read from the beginning. There are noticeable differences and several of the things that were cut in the show come up in the current chapters.
Nu, jew hertz ma fullings. Aikan ought breathe U nemo.
You're mean.
I know. It's just part of my... charm.
I can't believe that you only just now heard this story.
You seemed a little too disappointed for someone with that knowledge.
Friendliness isn't a positive or desirable trait. It's just a trait.
I used to say the show is good enough for what it is and that my main gripes were the animation style and the noticeable event modifications they made. Now that I've seen a few extended clips and the finale though... I'm glad I didn't put the time to watch it in.
You aren't, but that's beside the point.
Just because people don't think you're the nicest doesn't mean they think you ain't nice at all.
It depends on the location of your moral event horizon. But, if i were me... Well, I'd tell them, "Bring me that horizon."
They actually gave this a film?
That's fine. I was just sharing my opinion on the matter. You tend to bring that out in me and I'm not sure if I should hate you for it or not.
Do you really want to do this? I made a fairly standard and inoffensive comment. You understood it, don't pretend you didn't. And yet you decided to attack it. I'm pretty sure I know where this is coming from and honestly, I expected better of you. If you want to keep going, I'm just going to say, "Fine, you win. I had better never make comments on anything again." If you want to be a rational human being and just let it drop, I'll do the same.
I wasn't going to say this, because I assumed you could read English. I assumed you were able to understand things on a more than literal level. Apparently, you want to pretend you don't and act like it's helping your argument. Fine. If we assume that you're being literal as you were above the whole way through. You just equated getting sick to melting and dying. There is actually no way to get around that. I said I didn't imply that people melted and died, which I didn't. You, sarcastically, said I was wrong and that I did in fact imply that people melted in the water. Do you wish to redact?
