Slight update on some of the interview contents added.

Anyhow, that's no mysterious boy. That's young Xehanort. Then again, maybe it's not. But I wonder what he'll be doing in this title.

    The event is in Japan, though ; ~ ;

Lots of things can happen in ten years. I think 3D (and Coded/Days) were really trying to bring in more people into the series.

Hey guys, we have some new info for you!

First off, it seems that the official Kingdom Hearts Twitter in Japan has posted news that there will be a KH3D event in March 3. I suppose more details will come later on, but for now we can assume that it'll be to give some important info. We'll keep you updated on that front.

Secondly, it seems that Nintendo Power, a magazine dedicated to Nintendo, will feature Kingdom Hearts 3D, with a seven page coverage that includes an interview with Nomura.

And last, but not least, we've learned that KH3D will offer a much needed memoir feature that will not only serve as a a method to view history from the game itself, but will also show important details on the past games. Pretty good for newcomers to the series.

You can view some images of the memoir here

Thanks to Siliconera and KHInsider for the information.

Mmmkay...can we please be mindful. I know that you all want to share many things, but some really aren't suitable for all ages. I know this is a major dampener, but can we post less sexual/violent stuff and/or word it better or more conservatively?

    Thank you~

    Here's some of mine:

    It's done as you requested.

Addressing the end of the conversation would require you to see how it's going in the majority of cases. In which case, he'd have to see the direction it was veering towards to make a concrete statement on the matter. But that's beyond the point of discussion, really. Should KHV have stricter rules in the way the opening post states? If not, how? That's the subject matter. Not who P quoted or didn't quote.

Again, going back to the subject, I believe the rules are fine as they are while some things could be improved on. What Starseeker asks is basically a stricter structure for the rules. No repeated images, no rudeness (intentional or not)

But the only instances where this happens is the Spam Zone. Repeated images aren't a foreign concept in the spamzone and we'd have to see if the individual member is spamming images as a method of trolling all the time or the majority of the time. And as mentioned before, not all rudeness is intentional or preconceived so giving harsher punishments before actually talking to a person during the first few instances where it is seen would be a bit extreme.

In the end, it all boils down to contacting Staff members if you feel a problem arises. If someone feels some rule could be made different, then this is to discuss that, too.

If you read where the conversation is going, it's far different from just 'banning all commenting'. Rudeness may be subjective to some, but there are rules--rules which basically frown upon certain actions, yet still allow people to speak as they have all these years. As a rule of thumb, it is requested that people respect each other. Misunderstandings can and will occur, but if they are misunderstandings due to subjective reasons, then they're usually resolved.

Ah, right. The answer still applies to the particular instance as an answer to the opening post, so I guess it works out ;>

    Way to exaggerate.

The problem doesn't lie in pointing things out or mentioning something. The problem arises when people think they're entitled to force people to meet their standards--thereby constantly making it their 'job' to nit-pick or harrass another person. Add to that possible lack of tact, and you can find the source of the problem.

Repeating multiple images or making huge blank posts...in The Spam Zone. I fail to see the problem (other than it being annoying if done ad nauseum). But, if it is somehow a personal attack towards you or any other, you should notify a member of staff.

I feel that harrasing a member over their grammar or way of acting (as long as it's according to the site rules) is more of a problem than any spelling or grammar mistake. Not only does it come off as condescending, but it also places undue expectations on newer members. Remarking something once, or pointing something out to a person in passing, is far different from harassing them until they meet your standards.

Standards which, I should clarify, are subjective. If someone would like to have a forum full of remarkable spelling or grammar, then a forum dedicated to a video game for all ages is not the place.

Harassment and/or bullying is by no means acceptable. We were all newbies at some point, but with time and patience, we got to where we stand. Expecting new members to meet some elitist standards will only force them to do something they might not want to or just plain leave. KHV is open to anyone who follows it's rules. And members should expect to meet many people from different backgrounds, if they don't meet your personal standards, then tough beans for you---but by no means are you to ostracize them or put them down in any thread they post or have pseudo-hazing sessions.

No one likes to be the butt of jokes or targeted, unless they're the 'class clown' or masochists, just because it happens doesn't mean everyone will like it or that it's 'right'. And to be fair, there are moments when people rag on others when grammar/spelling is involved just because. Just like you mentioned that conflicts will always rise on the Internet, there will also be many people from different backgrounds. As long as they are understood fine, I don't see why someone has to nit-pick their posts.

That said, I feel as though some things could improve, and some are fine as they are. Our system works fairly fine when dealing with members who bully or target others. If you feel you're being targetted or bullied, please contact staff and we'll look into it.

We've got a trifecta of small news here.

First off, thanks to KHinsider, we know that next week's VJump issue will feature 'The Grid' or Tron's new and revamped world from the new movie.

Let's hope we get some nice pictures from this? Maybe some daft punk in Kingdom Hearts? xD

Secondly, we've learned that Jesse David Corti, the voice of Neku, is just about done recording his lines. Ain't that grand? Looks like they've got a good pace with recording.

And last but not least, our member Krowley contacted me. It seems that the japanese 3D website updated with a few more dream eaters and the 'Symphony of Sorcery' world, which has to do with Fatansia and music.

That's all for now, kids. Stay tuned for next week, when we'll probably be getting some nice VJump scans.

The reason I say that is because Osment sounds way too deep in comparison to KH1---you'd think they'd do some pitch shitfting on his voice for the young parts.

It just sounds strange having Sora so small and with a deeper voice xD
