100 Reputation points you mean. It's never been 1,000. And let me tell you all right now that 1,000 is excessive and will probably never happen unless the use of reputation changes drastically. Because people can be whimsical. As a member, the only thing you can do with yourself is trying to be good and post, be around, ect. You cannot control the influx of reputation unless -as you said- you go to the spamzone and do something that members find entertaining. Being honest, making quality posts other than the spam zone will not get you much reputation. I think the only real silly thing would be placing too much emphasis on reputation as a means to gain premium membership. Because as I said before, you can't place members entirely at the mercy of others--when it is their effort that should get them the most reward. As a note, even with adding reputation, it can be easily exploited if you have friends who can mass rep you. Which has happened in the past. Just in the same way that 1,000 posts can lead to potential spam, and what not.
I wouldn't say Reputation should be a deciding factor in how a person obtains priviledges, unless it's done with caution. Posting is a personal choice and allows for premium to be obtained through personal merits. So it works, even if it's bare bones and can be exploited. So maybe adding a small reputation requirement would be okay. But adding some exaggerated amount like 1,000 would just make things too taxing. Because you can't please everyone with your words, and the last thing we would want is reserved or serious people to start acting like clowns or street performers just to gain some reputation. So I agree on having a requirement as long as it's not impossibly high, because other people's perceptions are important. But not as important as personal merit that isn't bound by the whims of others.
That is a very interesting question. From all the past times we've hired, none have been told personally and would know only when new moderators were hired. That said, I'm not entirely certain it'll be that way this time. So people might get informed beforehand.
Forsaken: 0 Ienzo: 60 Kitty: over 9000 I think we just all want to get new staff ready before the summer arrives. There's also the fact that applying is so nerve-wrecking for some (reminds me of when I applied lolol) so getting things done faster and efficiently is better for us, and for the members. That said, we do try to read over most applications since people did take the time to fill them out. There's just so many, though. Which is good, but it never ends x___X
I was browsing a website and found his story. He looked so young and just...ugh, sucks when people die. Specially when they're so young. You don't expect that. Blargh.
If this is true. Omg. No waii Spoiler Riku is the only one who passes the Mark of Mastery? Well, it was sort of foreshadowed that Sora was getting overconfident and that he was sort of going to "fall" I am going to spoil myself so much when we get footage and info. Lol.
Well, KHV was created back when the Kingdom Hearts series was in full. So a lot of people were really interested in the games. What KHV did was...
Worst comes to worst, it'll screw up your profile again.
Dat HTML lololol
Yeah, looking over applications and all. It's taxing. Not so much because it's hard. But we get many applications and sometimes it's difficult...
Not much...just doing some good ol' Staff work.
Tell us more of your adventures with PS+, Libre. fufufu.
Well, the post instantly go into a moderation queue when you add images or videos. This can be fixed by gaining a higher post count.
I know that feel. I've been doing really bad stuff that mostly consists of smudging that looks like vomit and no depth or anything. It's terrible. I should probably do simpler stuff to fill my tumblr with ; ~ ;
