He simply stated looking back again to people of the other group, someone seemed annoyed that they didn't bring an S-class along as someone clearly in a position of authority told them to go ask one of their own about their mission. He considered going over to explain, but it beat the purpose of the exercise the leader put his subordinate up to and it wasn't a great idea to interfere in educational moments. He quietly enjoyed the view, while still clearly being open to conversation.

Vance immediatly started to once again assert his dominance. He had to admit it was getting the work done when it had earned them a boat trip. Vance wielded his name like a cleaver inspiring fear and thus yielding cooperation of people, the name Dorian seemed to carry a lot of weight with it. He doubted his name was suitable for such usage since his family was renowned for it's fair treatment of it's workers and associates. It might be used to get advantages elsewhere, but Conrad was reluctant to try that. He just walked on board and sat down on the boat as another group of people joined them, he only recognized Malkira out of the group someone spoke up trying to start a conversation among them, he didn't recognise them or had the slightest idea of what their name would be, but after all cut short conversations he had it was a welcome sight and hoped this one would work out. So the other group was headed to Sian? Interesting. "Good luck in Sian, then. Let's hope all will go well for both our parties now, shan't we?" He added to the conversation.

"Time to get going for me as well" He mumbled to himself He looked to Zephyros and noticed Vance was there, the man would probably tell him he wasn't acting like nobility the way he was, but in his opinion nobility was just a blank label to be filled in in one's own way within reason of course. He walked over soaking up all details regarding the mission. So there was a lady to marry. That ought to consolidate the von Eisensteins position within the nobility, eventhough he wasn't the firstborn such a marriage would obviously improve their standing. Though he did feel conflicted about the contest as if a Lady were a trophy to be won in a contest, he felt a bit sick inside when he thought about it. Last time he voiced his concerns like these they were simply thrown out of the window and he didn't expect anything else to happen. Zephyros seemed to be more concerned abou the money than the Lady and that too was wrong in his eyes, but his concerns remained unspoken as he simply looked at Zephyros and nodded "Sounds like something for me, I'm in."

"Well I had hoped to get to know you a bit better by talking about things like where you are from and how you ended up here. Last time we spoke the conversation got cut short because of the needs of the many outweighing the needs of the few, but I hope this time-" He had noticed Zephyr around, but didn't care much for it but it was Zephyrine trying to get him over and listen. "I appear to be needed elsewhere, but I guess I could stay for a tiny bit longer if that's alright with you and well you"

Conrad Heinrich Adelbrecht Carsten von Eisenstein II Along the road back to the Guild hall he remained quiet. He kept on thinking about what they had done, was it justified how they had beaten the man senseless to burn a book? When they arrived back there were a lot more people present than when he had initially arrived. He spotted Malkira and Vance talking by the looks of it, he didn't want to get himself involved with those two, not that he didn't like them, especially after Vance's work in their last mission. He'd rather not get caught in between the two. He then recalled something he had said near the start of that whole fiasco and a half. The girl he had judged so quickly.... he looked around and after a little while found her and went over. "Hey Aoki, uhm I don't want to bother you and I apologise if I just did, but seeing our conversation just prior to the mission stranded at the introductions, what do you think of continuing where we left off?" He said.

He recalled she had been part of the group that had turned down Aoki in their initial plan, the others had joined them and now it was them against this giant "should be an even fight" he thought to himself as he charged. Vance didn't seem to waste time on it and immediatly attacked the man. "Wait, Vance!" He yelled, but behind them Malkira entered and started to use his axe on the man. Sanity had evaporated he closed his eyes and silently cursed himself, it did not have to be like this did it? Vance and Malkira were already at Everlue's throat there was no way, he was going to stay reasonable now. He folded his hand around the hilt of his blade and whispered to himself: "May the ocean take his soul in peace and may the sky forgive my sins...." He then drew the blade and attacked Everlue Conrad used Blitz
Conrad Heinrich Adelbrecht Carsten von Eisenstein II After phasing out, thinking he heard someone yell at him to tie his shoe laces, he got back to the business at hand. "Ah yes Mr Everlue, the business we wanted to discuss relates to my family. As you might know we are only a rising star somewhere low on the horizon and we would like to reinforce our position by making deals with other families. You might also know that we own the Eisenstein Metallurgy corporation, that mines, smelts, refines and processes minerals and metals, we have a foundry nearby and well if you are interested we have shares you could buy, it would greatly benefit you." Conrad said, the foundry in question specialised in bullions and the casting of them, on his way in he had caught in a glimpse of a statue and if his impression of Everlue was anything to go by the man liked statues of himself this would suit him perfectly.
Conrad Heinrich Adelbrecht Carsten von Eisenstein II, Everlue Mansion "I'll follow up on that recommendation next chance I get" Conrad told Vance in rehard to his remark about Lord Gottwald's wine. When Everlue wondered what they did to their servants to cause them trouble, he felt like their act was coming apart, but luckily Vance saved them. Everlue's secret on the other hand made him sick to the core and he tried his best to hold his composure with Zephyrine's distraction and Vance taking the attention off him as well he had enought time to get his composure back in time. "Well that is an interesting way to look at things, I must say" Conrad said "Not really my personal style I would say, but definitely an interesting way to get things done." When Everlue commented on Vance and Zephyrine leaving for a moment Conrad spoke up "I am certain Lord Dorian will take care of it just fine." This was complete madness everything said here was just complete madness and that he even went with it was even worse. He hoped his remark about it not being his style wouldn't ruin the act and hoped Vance got back soon, while he knew he did a half decent job at the act he was still new to this whole political maneuvering that seemed to be Vance's second nature.

It felt sickening to say the least, he tried to forget about it so he could focus on the mission better. When they were allowed into Everlue's dining room he thought to himself that the real test was gonna start now. He took a seat next to Vance, sitting in a business-like manner and like Vance having to look down upon Everlue due to the height difference. "Ah yes Lady Aria's party wasn't that a night to remember... I spent the next few days trying to figure out what had all happened that night... fun times" He said with a smile "Lord Gottwald's? No I was not present I had more important business to attend to, but from what you told me it was quite the party and I would love to have been there as well. But what about the party at the Baron of Lauenberger? Where you and I ran into each other, Vance they had quite the entertainment and while I can't compare to Lord Gottwald's wine some of the best I have ever tasted." He listened attentatively when Vance began about his staff and after Malkira had spoken "Yes, my good friend I must thank you for the tip, while the price is heavy, they are justified in the servant's abilities."
Conrad Heinrich Adelbrecht von Eisenstein II, Everlue Mansion As Zephyrine apologised to Vance even more the conversation took an interesting unexpected turn. Conrad caught on to the impression Vance had for maximum chances of succes. And he was actually surprised a little by Vance crawling back like that. "Would you mind if I were to have one after you, clearly just your reprimands and talk haven't helped with this rebelious servant." He said with a slight grin on his face and then softly muttered audibly to Vance and perhaps Zephyrine "I'll help remind you, if we agree to both not go there ever again...." the very same discomfort lurking beneath the surface of his voice. This was the exact opposite of what he was and was certain he felt more uncomfortable than Vance did, he was glad none of his family were here to hear what he just had said and hoped the truth of what had been said here would remain buried forever.

The carriage rode to the gates of the Everlue residence and Vance got out, Conrad followed his lead and let him do the word. When the maid came back out again Conrad got a little nervous, but he followed her anyways, Malkira following behind Vance and himself, with the giant lady with them he felt glad to have him with them. He felt Vance reprimanding Zephyrine was a bit harsh but atleast it made it look legitimate. There wasn't anything to be said about it.
Conrad Heinrich Adelbrecht Carsten von Eisenstein II Conrad only listened as Vance began to tell everyone where they were, Vance's ice cold personality seemed to melt a little and while they agreed on the stealing being a bad idea, their motivations were still different. When Malkira spoke up he felt uneasy something about the statue ticked him off, it might just be the fact that it was not a statue but that it was talking. Aoki did have a point, it was suspicious and anyone who took the time to think would notice the girl. That is when Vance told them to split up, spread out the odds it was a good idea, higher chances of succes. With everything about to be set in motion Conrad had one last suggestion: "Seeing everyone knows their place and mainly seem to work in pairs, I'd say when the book is found I'd say link up with the infiltration team and have them ship it out that way when we are all checked for it none of us will have it."

When the suggestion to break in came up he felt uneasy, he had hoped for a moraly better plan and was about to throw down the entire arguments regarding morality again when Vance of all people came up with a more sensible plan. It sounded like a good plan and while he didn't like Vance at all he had to give the man credit for coming up with it. "I'd be up for Vance's plan, if you all are up to it as well" Conrad said, hoping the others would agree, since his mind was still screaming at him for not speaking up about the breaking in part. He walked closer to Vance and whispered "I know neither of us like each other that much, but I got to give you credit for coming up with this plan and I'm honestly willing to help here." It didn't seem like a lot but it seemed like Vance did actually have a more reasonable side to him, maybe just maybe Vance would let people in in the future and come down from the pedestal he put himself on.

The discussion of who was going to be the maid had been sorted with a back-up plan put in place, when the duke appeared that really seemed to be necessary, he had been right this man wasn't important, Conrad even doubted this man was even completely sane. Only then did Conrad realise he had gone from the front gate of the Mansion to standing behind a tree with no recollection how any of it happened. He heard what was being said and felt a bit bad, this man really had an odd taste and then to just drop the bomb like that, he continued to listen carefully to what Aoki said, he felt bad for her, having to stoop so low for this man, no Everlue wasn't a man, he was more like a child. It was then that he heard Malkira speak up, it was risky to do so given the distance, but there was always the chance Mr Everlue was so full of himself he couldn't hear a bomb go off near him when he was talking.

Now it was waiting on the final decision on who was going to wear the Maid's outfit, Edric made a joke in Malkira's direction and Conrad made a mental note of the name. He figured now was not the time to ask people why they were here especially when they were subject of a discussion regarding the mission. "I guess we'll talk more later" He said as he realised he had been wrong about the girl, sure her attire was questionable, but that didn't make the person underneath any less reasonable, he shot a quick glance to Vance, it was rather funny that he hadn't learned that lesson with such an obvious example around. How they proceeded here was up to Aoki and that man,woman or whatever it was. There wasn't much more to do than to await the decision.

He considered trying to have a conversation with some of the other people, but the earlier proven volatility of some of these people made him think it was a better idea to just remain quiet and just enjoy the ride. When they arrived and Edric had explained the plan he looked to the one girl in their midst, not wanting to go with the not quite friendly option of forcing her to do it. He was just about to speak up when the tambourine man or whatever he was turned into a woman well that sure was a good trick. He thought it'd be a good moment to atleast get to know atleast someone he approached Aoki who seemed atleast reasonable enough. "Excuse me, miss, but seeing we are all on the same side here or atleast are supposed to be I thought it'd be a good idea who is in there with me, so allow me to introduce myself. I am Conrad and may I ask who you are?"
Conrad Heinrich Adelbrecht Carsten von Eisenstein II, Sapphire Eclipse Guild Hall The circumstances Edric mentioned did change the situation, but his mind wasn't put to rest yet, however he didn't ask questions before people thought him to be a nuisance rather than an asset. The name mentioned didn't ring a bell, which probably meant that eventhough this man was a Duke he wasn't a noteworthy person. He followed Edric to the car and got in. Sadly the rumours of Vance's terrible manners weren't greatly exaggerated, the tambourine man had a different view at things, just moments ago they themselves were having a discussion, but for Vance this clearly was a reason to dislike the man. He just looked at Vance for a moment and then shook his head laughing to himself at how Mr High and mighty was acting then again the man from the street wasn't without blame either. He just wondered why people couldn't just act normally to each other, but quickly derailed that train of thought.
