True, true. Alright, I'll make it my next watch. I needed something anyway. Assuming the sub is best?

      Aw, well I'm almost always around so don't worry about missing me or anything. I don't have much of a life beyond here. ^^;

It definitely has that, or so I think. And lots of Yuri subtext, but nothing ever explicitly stated in-show.

Eh, never really classed Code Geass as being about the mechas though. It's more of a series about Lelouch and C.C. and everyone that just happens to have mechas. But no, I've not seen it. If it's really that good, I might make it my next watch.
And yeah. May 2012. RAGE. What's worse is the last episode was on a cliffhanger. DOUBLE RAGE.

Well, in person I wouldn't really want to see half of Rei's face looking over me like that all the time, no, but still...

Well, there is a lot of fanservice, but it definitely has a great plot going for it. Although, I will admit the third season seemed to have a few filler episodes, which bugged me. :/

I've seen Gurren Lagann, King of Braves GaoGaiGar, Rebuild of Evangelion, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Shin Mazinger Z, and just finished watching what's out of Gundam Unicorn. Fanrage hit when i found that only 4 out of 6 episodes of the latter were out so far.

I dunno. I think I'd survive the events, just not the aftermath. Loneliness is a terrifying thing for me.

I read the first volume of it only. It seems good, but what I have doesn't really go far into the story at all.

Oh, you definitely should. It's one of those with a lot of fanservice which is slightly off-putting at times, but otherwise it's got seemingly cute girls... blowing everything up. It's full of shout-outs to actual mecha series' too, like DRILLS ON GIANT HAMMERS.
Also; Steins;Gate I haven't watched, but I hear it's really good. I'm kinda on a mecha spree right now though. ^^

Aha, same here, though I was pretty immune to most of the mindrapey parts.

Hm, did she though? She might be alive, but you look into those eyes. There's no soul in either of those two by the end.

Heh, I've got Blue Exorcist too, but the anime is supposed to be a lot better.
Nanoha is kind of a vague one anyway, and even though it's called "Magical Girl" it's actually got far more in common with Gundam. Seriously, the main character was given the nickname "White Devil" for a reason. And she's 9 at the series begining.
And Madoka is to Magical Girl animes what Evangelion is to Mecha; a complete deconstruction of the genre. I'm not sure if you can judge it that same way as others of that genre.

Well, about half a year now probably. Always liked the concept, but never got round to watching it.

I know all about EoE. GNR is forever burned into my mind. Not entirely in a bad way.
Asuka in EoE got it worst, definitely. DO NOT FEED THE BIRDS.

Well I don't read the standard NGE manga, just the alternate continuities, like Shinji Ikari Raising Project, and Campus Apocolypse, both of which are awesome.
Uh well it's just that Evangelion is far from my favourite series, and yet I have all this stuff of it. My favourite series is Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, and if half of the stuff was available over here... oh boy, I've no idea where it'd all go.

An Asuka fan then, I presume? Haha, I watched the Rebuild movies a few months back, thought it was nothing like what I'd heard about Evangelion, and started watching the series. Instantly hooked, now reading all of the manga ever. EVER.
Worst thing? It's not even an obsession. This is normal for me.

It sure is. Asuka in a Christmas outfit, to be exact. All arguments are invalid against it.
