Larxene had already anticipated the unexpected to emerge from Marluxia's lips. With the very mention of war, and then the Superior arranging a meeting, the previous girl's enigmatic arrival all hinted towards urgency, and with Organization XIII, someone -- someone outside of the keybladers and their companions -- causing need for concern was unusual. Now, hearing how there appeared to be another group just like theirs, with an identical goal, it was more than astonishing. It was thrilling, for, with everything clarified, it was clear that the World That Never Was could finally have some action. It definitely needed a bit of excitement to spruce up its monochromatic atmosphere. However, she couldn't help noticing several, conflicting factors.

If the other group longed for hearts as well, wouldn't that mean they were Nobodies as well? Moreover, if that was the case, then why would they so keen on working against them? They could always collaborate, as it would quicken the achievement of Kingdom Hearts. Did they believe it wouldn't be enough? Or were they that adamant against listening to orders issued by Xemnas? Then again, perhaps they weren't without hearts. The entire matter was confusing, and the intruder didn't give nearly enough information. Besides, it wasn't that important. After all, it meant they could prepare for some incoming war, and when it finally arrived, she could have some fun at last. Due to this reason, she had absolutely no objections and wouldn't voice her opinion on it just yet.

As the Superior finished assigning orders -- with none of them particularly aimed towards her, the Savage Nymph was glad to note -- she found that the previous build-up of suspense, the slowly thickening tension that had accompanied the Graceful Assassin's words, just collapsed. That was it? She had honestly expected more. An intruder came, and now, they had to wait? She had enough of remaining idle. However, Xemnas still had an ironclad grip on the Organization, so what else could she do? Aside from reporting any traces or glimpses of the other Organization, if she caught sight of them. Such a bore.

Unable to express her disappointment vocally, she let dissatisfaction visibly show on her visage, as she uncrossed her legs. Xemnas had adjourned the meeting, but was that really all? She lingered for a few moments, waiting to see if everyone else would leave before she departed as well. Out of the corner of her eye, she cast a glance towards the Graceful Assassin, silently wondering about his thoughts on the whole matter. Would that change anything about their plans?

Zexion probably had the easiest time finding the members. He could follow their scent, track them down, and relay the message all in record time. Now, Larxene had to wonder why exactly the Superior demanded that she carried out the same task. The Organization members didn't exactly enjoy lollygagging in the same place, and, even if her speed allowed a quicker finish, she much rather preferred to head straight to Where Nothing Gathers. Actually, the location wasn't relevant. She cared only to hear the words that girl whispered to Marluxia.

    We're at war.

That was the only hint the Graceful Assassin would allow. Now, as she headed through the World That Never Was in search of the other members, she couldn't keep her mind off the future prospect for more excitement. Wars always entailed battles, which meant the potential for a great deal of agony for their opposition. A smirk curved her lips at the thought, as a hint of excitement lit her eyes. However, her 'enthusiasm' lasted for only a moment, before she replaced the expression with one of almost exaggerated impatience.

Gathering the members took far too long, and it was ever tedious. That simply couldn't be reiterated enough.

Yet, as wearisome as it supposedly was, conveying the message to the remaining members finished quick enough, and she soon found herself seated in Where Nothing Gathers. Giving a slight, exasperated sigh under her breath, as if to express her displeasure of the task she had been assigned, she idly crossed her legs. Now, she would await what would hopefully be the highlight of the day -- Marluxia's elaboration on the opponents they would face in the war.

(OOC: I'm not sure who's actually left for Larxene to tell about the meeting, but I'll assume that 'conveying the message to the remaining members' included the Organization members not yet being played, if that's alright. ^_^; )

We're at war. Larxene's eyes widened for only a split-second before she regained her typical expression.

Out of all of the prospects she expected, this was the least anticipated. A war? Who would dare to start a war with the Organization? From the keybladers perhaps, but from someone like that anonymous loser? At least activity was finally starting to pick up in the World That Never Was. Just not in the way thought possible, but she never put much thought into it in the first place.

Hearing Xemnas speak so coldly to the Graceful Assassin, she found herself idly wondering just how long it would be until their roles reversed. How ironic would it be? For the Superior to realize he hadn't the power anymore to speak a single, commanding word towards either of them. It was quite the thrill to consider such a scene, but for now, she needed to focus on the present. They had unusual circumstances to handle, and Xemnas had just shifted his attention towards her, ordering her to assist Zexion in gathering the members to Where Nothing Gathers.

"Mm-hm." This curt acquiescence lacked a tone, making it easy to regard it as flat or simply stoic, bearing not a trace of feigned emotions. An exasperated frown briefly crossed Larxene's face as she shifted away, her footsteps clicking lightly once more as she headed for the entrance of the room.

Gathering the other Organization members probably wouldn't take long, but it was a complete pain, if not dreadfully boring. She simply wanted to cut down to the chase, but as long as the follow-up possessed enough amusement ultimately, she'd proceed with her tedious task as quick and efficiently as possible.

Although Larxene hated to idle around and watch like some helpless spectator, she respected Marluxia enough to listen. Exhaling softly under her breath and crossing her arms, she kept watch with a visibly impatient expression. A single blonde eyebrow raised as she watched their enemy suddenly appear right besides the Graceful Assassin, but she remained still. She knew he could handle a single opponent, even if she warped about to shift closer to him. Although, she couldn't quite discern the reason for such an action. Was she hoping to toss him off-guard?

Then, as quick as the rhythmic flutter of a hummingbird's wings, the girl had uttered her last remark before vanishing, leaving them only a spiteful smirk for them to retain in their memories.

Not that Larxene really cared to remember her.

"So what'd she whisper to you?" she inquired, as she indolently made her way across the room towards Marluxia. "Something generic like, 'this isn't over'?" Her voice gained a deeper, mocking edge as she quoted the words that his opponent may have said.

    Boredom.

It wasn't a feeling a Nobody could possibly perceive. Yet, it was in spite of acknowledging this Larxene had always claimed that she was bored. There simply wasn't any task to carry out nor any enemy to fight. What took so long for Xemnas to initiate a plan of sorts? What took so long for an opponent to launch an attack? Perhaps the latter was an unusual, if not foolish longing, but she honestly wanted some hustle of activity ringing through the hallways. For now, all she could hear was her footsteps, clicking softly as she aimlessly made her way through the World That Never Was. Its establishment and markings all familiar to her already, nearly to the point she could label it mundane.

Yet, it was as these thoughts raced through her mind that she caught the distant murmur of voices. As swift as if she were gliding, she shifted lightly to head in the direction of it. Conversing was the only activity left to accomplish, it seemed. Of course, that opinion soon changed, as two figures eventually came into view. Marluxia, she had recognized immediately, seeing his weapon drawn out and his usual graceful stance of battle. As for the other? Perhaps her passing wish came true after all.

"What's this?" the Savage Nymph remarked, her voice raising just an octave higher with a hint of interest. "Oh, you should've told me that you were entertaining a guest." A shadow of a smile curved her lips as her eyes flickered over to his opponent. "You ought to know better than anyone, on how positively captivating my performance can be."

Out of the corner of her eye, she could catch sight of Xemnas, situated on the balcony above, but she paid him no heed for now. It's not like he was putting a stop to playing with the toy that just so happened to wander into their territory.
