This is the start of Ven's walkthrough. Ventus watches his friends, Terra and Aqua, take part in the Mark of Mastery exam, which will determine who gets the title of "Keyblade Master". However, only one of his friends receives the title. After the exam, the three split up for a short period of time. While thinking to himself in his room, Ven is confronted by a boy in a mask, telling him that Terra was leaving and he would never see him again. Afraid of the boy's words, Ven takes off after Terra.
