GAH! Just noticed a rendering mistake after spending hours uploading this thing T_T Can't be bothered to fix it and re-upload it... maybe later.
I had no idea how few clips there are of Kadaj not grinning like a maniac before I started this video -_- There are also hardly any clips of Aerith in Crisis Core (And almost none in Advent Children, but I already knew that XD)

I really need to get a version of Vegas that has masking, I used so many Cookie Cutters and Chroma Keyers in this video. The sad part it, I would happily do it all over again XD
I also apologise for the repeated clips and slight laziness towards the end, I had just completely run out of decent footage and couldn't be bothered anymore.

Oh, and that once scene with Aerith hugging Zack? Pretend Zack is Kadaj

~Story~
Aerith and Kadaj were childhood friends. They would often play together in the church. When they got older, they started dating. They were happy together until Kadaj got too close to the Darkness, becoming engulfed in it. He would often cry alone in the church,araid of what the Darkness was doing to him. One day, he left a tearful Aerith, saying that he didn't want to hurt her. After a few years, he returned a different man and battled with Cloud and AVALANCHE, even going as far as to cause destruction in the church. Aerith looked on, shocked and saddened at what Kadaj had become. Kadaj supposedly died during an explosion he caused when fighting Cloud.
A year later, Kadaj showed up on the roof on the church, looking down at Aerith and casually talking to her. He regretted what had happened and apologised. The two made up and Kadaj was even welcomed into AVALANCH. But he couldn't shake off his old ways and, when Aerith confronted him, Kadaj turned on her and they got into a fight. Kadaj just didn't understand how much he had changed.
After seeing how much he had scared Aerith, he realised that he was a lot different to how he used to be. He asked Aerith what he could do to stop himself; he was starting to feel afraid again. Although he couldn't change completely, he did his best to curb his old habits, remembering the agony they had caused him, and finally, after a long time, he and Aerith were happy together. They would never ask for anyone else.
