In wake of the new Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer, the KH-Vids Podcast sits down to discuss superhero movies, both past and upcoming, from both DC and Marvel. @Misty and @libgrekd are joined by @Kairi ♥ and @Skyheart to discuss Guardians of the Galaxy, the lack of a Black Widow movie, Avengers, Catwoman, Superman, and Batman, and many more!

Please do note that this episode was recorded this past Sunday, so we do not cover the recent announcement of Marvel's Phase 3 movies, which include a Black Panther and a Captain Marvel movie. As such, one of our major topics of discussion -- the diversity, or lack thereof, in Marvel movies -- is altered, but it's a good listen all the same!

We also, as always, answer user-submitted questions! @Eric Luna makes us contemplate our mortality, @Graxe our personhood, and @Plums our forum memories!

It's Tuesday and you know what that means! Time for a new episode of the Podcast!

This week @Misty and @libregkd are joined by staff guest @Plums and member guest @Mish to discuss handheld consoles, inspired by their recently plummeting sales. We begin by reminiscing about the handhelds of yore, (namely the Gameboy and the PSP), then speculate about the future of the PS Vita and the 3DS. Will these former stalwarts of the gaming industry continue to have a place in the next few years? Or will they too join the graveyard of devices replaced by smartphones? Only time will tell, but that doesn't mean we can't make some predictions!

Following that we answer user-submitted questions! @Eric Luna inspires some bathroom humor, @Graxe wonders about our weight on other planets, @Sweeney Tummer gives our censor noise its proper praise, @Robiɳ asks us about our Halloween plans, and finally, @Plums forces us to select just one fictional character to become our best friend / soulmate. In short, we confront the real questions on the KH-Vids Podcast once again!

Yeah yeah Wednesday podcast because I'm a piece of garbage.

Hello everyone and welcome to yet another episode of the KH-Vids Podcast. Your usual hosts -- @Misty, @Llave, and @libregkd -- are joined by @Calxiyn and @Plums to discuss video game graphics, at the behest of @Eric Luna !

As per usual we begin with some Kingdom Hearts news and updates, including the official translation of the Re:Coded secret movie, the new Introducing the Magic trailer for Kingdom Hearts 2.5, and the announcement that Kingdom Hearts 3 is now running on Unreal Engine 4. The latter piece of news feeds into our larger discussion, where we cite some of the games that have impressed us over the years, the influence of MoCap and facial capture in video games, the uncanny valley, the benefits of stylized graphics versus photorealistic, and finally the influence of environments and environment design on a gaming experience.

After that we move along into our user-submitted questions! @Eric Luna has us reminisce about childhood, @Graxe asks what we would add to a KHV Giferator (the original @Mish pic is cited, along with Kairi ♥ licking a certain Kingdom Hearts character, and @Stardust 's creepy doll), @Hayabusa makes us fuse with another KH-Vids member, and we build a special Halloween playlist for @Sweeney Tummer !

It's Tuesday and YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS... !

This week we celebrate the release of Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD Remix in Japan by talking all things Kingdom Hearts! @Misty, @Llave, and @libregkd are joined by @Stardust, @Karuta, and @pink gabr for this exciting episode. We discuss what we're most excited for in the HD remaster, the trophy list compared to the previous 1.5 collection, the likelihood of a Dream Drop Distance HD remaster, the secret movies including in Kingdom Hearts 2.5 (spoilers!), and finish off with some of our expectations and speculations about Kingdom Hearts 3, particularly how Tetsuya Nomura's departure from Final Fantasy XV will affect it.

As per usual we also answer user-submitted questions! @Eric Luna puts us in the shoes of another member, @Graxe has us calculate the Kingdom Hearts universe economy and gives us a unique challenge for Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix, and @Robiɳ polls us about our favorite Doctor Who companions.

Finally we plug some site news, including a big welcome back to the staff to @Kairi ♥ and a status update on the Kingdom Hearts 1.5 and Kingdom Hearts 2.5 videos.

Podcast is kinda late because I have a LIFE and STUFF
Hi everyone! We've got a new episode of the podcast fresh off the grill, complete with @Misty, @libregkd, @Llave, and @Plums. This week we sit down and discuss a relatively recent development in the gaming industry: widespread access to game betas, but not before recapping some recent Kingdom Hearts news! We discuss Famitsu's recent interview with Tetsuya Nomura, Nomura's announced attendance at New York Comic Con, and our review of Project Destati's LIGHT album.

After that we launch into our topic, talking about some of the betas we've personally participated in, who should be given beta access, what a beta means to us, and whether we'd ever pay for beta access. Finally, we answer our usual stack of user-submitted questions! @Graxe asks us to contemplate personhood with a parasite latched to our back (Doctor Who references are made), @Eric Luna asks us what worlds we'd like to see in Kingdom Hearts III, @Anixe endures the brunt of username mispronunciation while we design a video game class for school, and @Hayabusa asks us about some of our favorite video game companions.
