i'm always on the fence about whether or not I like ttgl and klk, but satsuki is wonderful.

 

There isn't nearly enough AoT discussion in this thread. Apparently khv likes Kill la Kill too much.

 

I've already seen Attack om Titan. Twice. It will become relevant again when the second season comes around.

Pretty much how I felt. It's in my top 5 anime ever now so yeah.

The first season of the anime wasn't anything special to me. Decent but with flaws I didn't care to keep up with, sorry :\

(and no I don't care if the manga is better I won't read it)

 

Mortal Kombat X is looking so freaking amazing, I can't even guys. OH MAH GAWD PREDATOR IS GOING TO BE IN IT THE HYPE TRAIN HAS NO BREAKS.

 

I've only watched the first episode of Attack on Titan, but the live action movie is looking pretty awesome.

 

I'm somewhat bothered by the fact they have Japanese actors playing obviously white characters. Though, I suppose it's not so bad, so long as they change the names.

 

i dont want to make a hwl thread about this but introspection really kinda sucks
im trying to address the unhealthy amounts of procrastination i do and in the process accept that it's related to fear. fear of failing or general inadequacy. fear of the future and the uncertainty of everything given my current place in life. i dont know when these things became so prominent, but they're absolutely crippling at times. i haven't touched one of my transfer applications in a couple weeks for the obvious reason given what i've just said. i'm trying to draw a line between self-pity and acceptance in this post and it has been somewhat cathartic to openly admit these things

i finally finished ygo 5d's. so cool.

 

Sometimes it is best to admit to things no matter how much you don't want to. Coming to terms with something lets you then work with that. I think everyone has a fear of failure to some degree. We all fear not being successful in life. Not having a successful career. Not having a sitcom-esque family. I could go on about cultural conditioning but that's another post. I wish you all the best of luck.

And 5ds is/was kind of one of my guilty pleasures. I just loved everything about it. The Earthbound Immortal Arc is still one of my favorites. And the Machine Emperors. Placido is still one of my favorites ever.

 

5d's was just kind of perfect and I can't figure out why. Even in the dull moments I was thoroughly entertained (though I'm saying this having finished it after not watching it for four years). It had that ygo camp to make it fun, but it took itself seriously enough that it came off as pure awesome.

 

5D's and the original series are the best of the Yugioh anime.
