As you start your journey through the ancient halls of the House of Night, these indispensable classes will aid you in your transition from human to fledgling. Within these walls you will find invaluable information about the history of vampyres. You will also come to a better understanding of your body’s transformation, as well as read words of hope from great vampyres of the past and learn essential foundations of rituals and lore. • ⓵ If you’ve been Marked by a Tracker, night has chosen thee. You will go through the Change and turn into a vampyre. However, if your body rejects the Change, you die.
  
  ⓶ If you are Marked, you must leave your home and move into the House of Night school, where you will take your place as a fledgling and live for four years.
  
  ⓷ At the House of Night School, classes begin at 8pm and end at 3am. The gym is open until dawn.
  
  ⓸ You can never be far from an adult Vampyre for long. And it’s not like you’ll turn into a pumpkin. It’s a much bigger deal than that.
  
  ⓹ Formal rituals are held at Nyx’s Temple twice a week. At the ceremony’s commencement, turn to the east, south, west and north to summon (in order) air, fire, water and earth.
  
  ⓺ If one of the cats at the school chooses you, you will belong to him or her. Not the other way around.
  
  ⓻ Every High Priestess is given an affinity, or special powers, by the Goddess.
  
  ⓼ If you ever leave school grounds, you cannot wear any part of your uniform (which is primarily basic black) and must conceal all tattoo markings.
  
  ⓽ Here at the House of Night school, there are no lockers. You will have cabinets in your homeroom. If someone steals something, the vamps will know it. As will Nyx.

  PROFESSORS
  What it signifies:
  The professors’ symbol is the silver embroidered image of Nyx with her arms upraised and her hands cupping a crescent moon.
  
  THIRD FORMERS
  What it signifies:
  The third formers’ symbol is embroidered in silver in the shape of a spiral that glitters in a delicate circle. The symbol – the silver labyrinth of the Goddess Nyx – stands for a new beginning for the third formers as they walk the Path of Night and learn the ways of the Goddess.
  A 3rd Former would be the same as a Freshman, but students vary in age.
  
  FOURTH FORMERS
  What it signifies:
  The golden wings of Eros are the fourth formers’ symbol. Eros – the love god – is the child of Nyx’s seed. The symbol reminds the fourth formers of Nyx’s capacity to love and also represents the students’ continuous movement forward.
  A 4th Former would be the same as a Sophomore, but students vary in age.
  
  FIFTH FORMERS
  What it signifies:
  The fifth former emblem represents Nyx’s golden chariot pulling a trail of stars. The chariot illustrates the fifth formers’ continuation of Nyx’s journey. The stars represent the magic of a fledgling’s first two years at the House of Night.
  A 5th Former would be the same as a Junior, but students vary in age.
  
  SIXTH FORMERS
  What it signifies:
  The sixth formers’ symbol is an embroidered silver silhouette of the three Fates, the children of Nyx. The sixth formers all wear the emblem of the Fates, the goddesses of destiny. The scissors signify the end or break of the formers’ time at the House of Night.
  A 6th Former would be the same as a Senior, but students vary in age.

  There are two dorms, one for boys and one for girls. They have roughly about six floors, not every room is used. Each dorm has a lounge area and a kitchen. The bedrooms have twin beds with attached bathrooms and walk in closets. They are allowed to be personalized in any manner a student sees fit.
  
  The kitchens are always fully stocked with snacks and beverages, but do to the delicate condition the fledgling bodies are in, there is rarely any unhealthy foods or drinks in the in the cupboards and refrigerators. They are designed to keep the fledglings as healthy as possible to make the Change an easier transition.
  
  The lounges are on the main floor. They have large televisions, big comfy chairs and couches, fooseball / pool tables, cabinets filled with movies and video games. There is also a separate computer lab in each of the dorms with about ten computers in each for studying and whatnot.
  
  Fledglings are allowed to mingle in the dorms of the opposite gender. There aren't room checks or supervisors monitoring the dorms. They are given trust. The only rule being that they are not allowed in the opposite dorm after curfew, which is seven a.m. They need to be back into their dorms before the sun comes up, due to their sensitivity to light.​

❮ Reminder fledglings, tomorrow at midnight will be the full moon ritual. As always, classes will be a half day and lunch will ensue after the ritual. The Dark Daughters will meet at the same time. For those of you that have never partaken in a full moon ritual, it is a very special event. Merry meet, merry part, and merry meet again fledglings. ❯

The voice that ran through each of the students and faculties' minds ended as abruptly as it started. There was a nod by the professor at the front of the class and the rest of the students began to gather their things. It was almost midnight now, twenty - four hours before the full moon ritual. Lunch would start in just a couple minutes and fledglings vacated the classrooms to make their way down to the cafeteria. Some had short walks within the halls of the Main Hall, while others walked a great deal across campus from the field house and the stables.

Chatter filled up the halls, reaching all the way to the cafeteria. The selection for food was as elaborate as always. It seemed to be filling yet healthy ranging from steak to salmon, always served with salad on the side. A table sits at the center of the room with an arrangement of food and drink -- an offering to the goddess Nyx, Mother of Vampyres.​

Lunch time~

The first movement the pink haired female had made when she walked in that lunch hall was the flip of a coin. This determined whether or not she would actually eat. When she got up to the line, she flipped again, and this determined that she would only eat a salad today. She grabbed it, and got herself a water. She placed it on a tray and headed through the Dining Hall before she heard a voice speak up.​

"So are you sitting with us today Bubbles?"​

Suzie turned to see Niall, who she normally got along with and decided through a coin flip if he would be a friend. Today he was not wearing a wig, but his personality seemed to be rather peppy today. At his table was his friend Ray, who usually sat at his lunch table whether he wanted to or not.​

Suzie flipped her half dollar coin and looked at the result and shook her head, "Not today."​

"Damn, I had something to tell you too that you might find interesting."​

Suzie casually went on her way and flipped a coin for her remaining opinions. When she flipped, she got tails. Yay I get to sit with the ass today.​

Suzie joined Sirena at the table, who just looked at her and rolled her eyes. Suzie flipped the coin once, it landed on heads. Converse. She then flipped again and it landed on tails. Brief. She flipped it one last time and it landed on heads. Honest.​

Suzie took a bite of her salad and swallowed it before remarking, "You keep rolling those eyes and they will fall out of your head."

The lunch hall looked just about the same as it always did when the short red-haired girl stepped into it, alone once again. She walked slowly and looked around the hall to see possible places to sit before turning to get food. She didn't look lost and got her food with a sense of confidence about her. She was disappointed though, it looked like she'd be eating alone again. She hadn't really expected any different but part of her always held out a hope that someone would call her over to sit with them. Being alone was fine, she could do whatever she liked and she didn't have to follow a silly group. It was just times like this when everybody else was sitting in groups and chatting away, it really made her feel lonely. Lilliana shook her head and trying to figure out which empty place to sit, the sooner she ate, the sooner she could get out of this hall and do something she actually wanted to do.

Sitting at the table nearby Suzie's, sat the Manchester Brothers. Both were very different in the standards of others, like night from day. In which case; Caleb was daylight, and his younger sibling, Arthur, was very much like the moonlight.
Caleb was your average, everyday student. He would get B's to A-'s in exams in his previous school, he played most sports really well, and he loved to socialize. Arthur, on the other hand, tended to be secluded when his brother isn't around. The only things he truly loved were puzzles. He loved solving any puzzle thrown at him, and he loved pointing out the loopholes within upcoming ones. He had above average grades in his last school, which rivaled that of his older brother's, but he rarely played sports. He also had a better eye for suspicion among other people, whereas Caleb saw goodness in all.
But all of this was to change. Nyx had selected them as her Children of the Night, and they gladly accepted. Their parents were very enthusiastic and made arrangements right away. Now, they sat there, in the middle of the night, eating food like any regular day. Although, it wasn't exactly regular.

Caleb watched Arthur silently for five full minutes, solving and unsolving a Rubik's Cube. So far, Arthur had done this about 15 times ever since they left class. But Arthur wasn't testing his mind, but his agility. As every Vampyre knows, there bodies adjust accordingly to the change. That being said, Arthur's agility had been improving at a good, steady rate.
"You gonna eat your food, bro?" Caleb asked. Arthur didn't look up, but he replied, "I will..right after I get to 20."
Caleb snickered. "By then, it'll be already time to leave. And there's no point in wasting food, Artie." Caleb said. His mother calls his brother Artie. Arthur hated being called that from anyone else.
"It looks like your intelligence hasn't improved one bit since you've been Marked, brother." Arthur said, irritated. He had looked up, but he didn't stop his hands from moving.
"I don't think there's anything related to that. The Mark affects physical change."
"Physical, implying every organ in the body. That includes the brain."
Caleb just shrugged. "Whatever bro. Actually, I like the thought that I might get smarter by 6th Former."
It was Arthur's turn to snicker. "Not if your public features falter first."
Caleb gave him a short glare. "Are you gonna eat your food or not?"
Arthur sighed as he finished his counting. He put down his Cube and picked up his fork, putting food in his mouth. Caleb sat back and his chair as he commented, "I wonder though. Which girl am I gonna date?" He pointed to the girl in the pink hair (Suzie) "How 'bout that one? Statistics?"
Arthur looked in the direction of his brothers arm and let out a "Tch".
"That girl bases everything on chance." Arthur said, "Seems like-minded, but somewhat naive. A fool would only base chance between life and death." Arthur shoveled in some more food and swallowed before he continued. "She's not your type."
"Well, you're nothing but a bookworm, and I hang out with you. Why is that?"
Arthur smiled and lean closer to his brother before saying, "One of life's many mysteries."
Caleb blew his cheeks and gave his brother a playful shove, laughing. Usually, they would talk like this all the time. They had never fought once in their life.

But again, in the House of the Night, everything will change.

 

Although he was a bit bummed out by Suzie not just putting the coin away and sitting her ass down at the table with them, he continued on like he normally would. He kept a mindful eye out for people as he spoke to Ray. Ray here was a fourth former much like himself, and was a bit older than him. Ray wasn't gay, even though Niall kept constantly flirting with him. Ray found it entertaining though, and still stuck around anyway.

Niall took a deep breath before he released what he had to say in one go, "Anyway so she is just sitting there in drama class and she isn't even paying attention to the class at all she is just gawking over yet another sixth former and I kept trying to nudge at her to get her attention and next thing she knows she is being called to answer a question and what does she do she stares directly at the front of the room and just says "Shakespeare" and she is so damn lucky that she got it right considering the last time she was actually paying attention was when we were still talking about-"

"Breathe Niall breathe."

Niall let in a breathe and spoke, "-how to pretend you are dying on stage. If it were ANY OTHER PERSON they would have been in trouble."
All Ray could do was shake his head as he turned his head and saw Lilliana. "Oh boy, she looks so lost."
"I'll get her."
Niall stood up from the table and stretched, then made his way over to Lilliana and grabbed her shoulders and pushed her towards the table, "You're doing the lost child thing again if you need somewhere you sit you just sit with us."
"Niall don't be rude."
"I'm not being rude, cupcake. I'm just stating what I see."
Niall pushed into the booth and patted the spot next to him and flipped his hair before speaking, "So how has your night been so far hun?"

Blaze lied back on her chair. She sighed, looking at the time on her watch. Her roommate with sitting with the Head of the Dark Daughters, who Blaze didn't like very much. Her temper and Sirena's bossy attitude didn't mix very well. Blaze smiled to herself as she ate. "I don't know why Suzie bothers to sit with her. The "Miserable" look isn't one that looks good on her." Blaze thought to herself. She laughed to herself, as she tapped her foot on the floor. She smoothed out her dress, before taking a sip of her drink. She did admit that she does like to tease the boys a little by wearing shorter dresses. But she choose the clothes she wore, though it was mostly just basic black.

She decided to go over to Suzie and see how she was doing. Since she was sitting with Sirena. Plus it wasn't totally bad when they both collided. It was really a lot of fun. Blaze got up from her table, and walked over to their table. "Hello girls." Blaze smiled, before she took a seat next to her roommate. "What's on the agenda for today?" Blaze asked. She made sure she looked as cheerful as possible around Sirena. It was her own way of bothering her. Whether it really did or not she had no idea.

Making his way out the cafeteria line, Valister found himself a place to sit. He'd chosen to go with something simple for his lunch and so just grabbed himself a salad. He didn't spot his roommate anywhere yet and decided to go ahead and eat. He wasn't waiting on him per say, it was more like he was curious as to where he was. In other words he was quite bored. While the Full Moon Ritual was approaching, it was getting boring as he waited for it.

The clock struck twelve and signified that it was indeed time for lunch. It would take him a good while to get from his current location to the dining hall. As he began to walk, he went through a few quick decisions in his mind. The first thing he needed to decide on was what to get for lunch. Considering that he has not been so good about his protein intake, he figured he would need to get something high in protein. That meant he would have to get a meat dish of some sort to would help balance that out. A steak of some kind, perhaps of the seafood variety. Salmon wouldn't go amiss, he thought to himself.

Now the question was how to get it? With salmon, there were many ways to serve it. Smoked, grilled, marinated, baked, raw. As he rattled them off in his head, the smoked variety seemed to sound best, as his stomach growled at the thought. With the high quality of the ingredients used in the cooking, there was no doubt in his mind that the smoked salmon would be an excellent choice.

His thought process was interrupted by the clamoring within the hall. It was always noisy in the hall since people loved to chatter on about whatever useless nonsense they wanted to prattle on about. Socializing with others was something of a challenge for him because of his natural tendency to analyze situations. Most times, people will have left him alone by the time he thought of a response. He was capable of having normal conversation, and he was capable of actually making jokes, however he never really expects anyone to actually come up to him for no particular reason except for his roommate.

After getting his Smoked Salmon with a Tomato Mozzarella Salad on the side, he searched around the hall, looking for an empty seat. Once he found one, he walked over with his tray and stood behind it. He cleared his throat before speaking to the student in the adjacent seat. "Pardon me, would it be alright if I sat here?"

"Uh, of course. Be my guest." The student seemed flabbergasted by the sight of him.

"Thank you kindly." He set his tray down and sat down. As he began to eat his meal, he heard murmuring beside him. He disregarded it and continued his meal in relative peace. Ordinarily, he would have shut out everyone else's voices, but because there was the possibility of something important being said in such a public place, shutting them out was not the ideal solution. The next best thing was to simply suck it up and go about his business as if he didn't hear anything, even though he clearly can.

"Woah, woah, woah, what?" Lilliana said in surprise as all of a sudden she was being pushed towards a random table. What was happening? Her mind flashed back to everything she'd learnt in basic defence, she could take him. She wasn't lost and he was wrong to think so. She took a deep breath, trying to think as clearly as possible and turned to face the guy who had grabbed her, ready to use self-defence.

"I'm not los-" She broke off as she looked at the boy, he must be a little younger than her but he had a smile that seemed actually genuine. He was genuinely asking her to sit over with them. He hadn't grabbed her maliciously at all. It was surreal."Wait, you're inviting me to sit with you? Are you sure?" Why wasn't she just saying yes and sitting with them? This was what she wanted. Still experience made her wary, if this was some cruel joke then...no, just this once she wanted to believe it. If it turned bad then she was more than capable of dealing with it and making them regret it. Finally a smile broke out over her face, "Well, if you're sure then why not? Oh and what's you're name?" She asked, wanting to find out exactly who this strange boy who had invited her over was. He was certainly different, which was probably a good thing and he seemed to have so much energy. First impressions? She liked him.

Niall thought Lilliana just seemed really confused at this point and he chuckled it off before he spoke, "I don't really mean you are lost. I've seen you a couple times come in during meals and you just never seem to figure out where to sit."
"I told you a couple times to offer her a seat before."

Niall stared at Ray for just a second, and they seemed to have a quick silent conversation by just looking at each other. Then they looked back over at her, "Anyway, my name is Niall, and this is Sunshine."

Ray glared at Niall for a moment before smiling, "My name is actually Ray..."
"Close enough."
"Not really Niall, not really."
"It is more alike than you wish to believe." Niall did a false little grin and spoke, "He's my boyfriend."
"I am not."
"You are though, you just don't know it yet."
"Niall, don't scare her away with your hallucinations."

Niall smiled at Lilliana and spoke, "...Oh right! What about you, what name do you go by?"

Sirena was happily eating her salad with grilled salmon when miss Bubblegum thought it would be okay to sit down beside her. She looked up from her dish, with clear disgust written all over her face. Outside of the Dark Daughter meetings, she didn't really care for Suzie. She was worthy enough to be accepted into the Dark Daughters, but the girl couldn't make a decision for the life of her. She had to leave everything to up to a coin flip. It was really just laziness. Sirena rolled her eyes at the girl and returned to eating, shoving a forkful of spinach into her mouth.

❝ You keep rolling those eyes and they will fall out of your head. ❞ Suzie commented while sitting down.

Sirena rolled her eyes again and swallowed the bit of spinach and salmon in her mouth. ❝ It's worth the risk. Good eyeball exercise, ❞ she replied curtly. She looked around the table at some of the other members of the DDS. They usually grouped together, but occasionally branched out to other tables as well. Some of the members were ... peculiar. None were quite to her standards. She mostly tolerated them more than the other students.

❝ Hello girls. ❞

Sirena looked up to see a smiling Blaze standing before them. Just great. This wasn't her day at all. She took a seat next to Suzie, her roommate, inviting herself to the table. What was with all of these unwanted members taking a seat beside her? She sipped off of her blood - laced glass of wine. The taste was becoming more enjoyable and the Vamps didn't mind fledgelings drinking wine since their bodies processed the alcohol faster. Without the blood, it didn't produce any sort of buzz. It was a sort of intoxication all on its own. Alcohol could never compare. She couldn't wait until they were allowed to take their own human partners. Feeding off of humans as a fledgeling was frowned upon since they weren't viewed with enough self - control. Who were the vamps to talk? She could do just fine on her own. Maybe she would find a refrigerator in secret.

❝ What's on the agenda for today? ❞

Oh right. Those two were still there. She looked up to Blaze, who had asked the question. Well, might as well throw the offer on the table. ❝ I was thinking we would go out tonight after classes. Ya know, a little DDS get together before the next full moon ritual. It sounds like a lot of fun to me. ❞ She gave them a wink before returning to the food in front of her.​

Nero cried out in anguish as he walked down the halls slouched downwards as his arms drooped downwards and swayed side to side as the fledgling walked on in anguish. "I neeeeeeeeeeed foooooooooooooooooooood" Nero cried out some more as he walked on losing a great deal of strength with each step. Class had only just ended and it was time for lunch, but Nero did not even know if he could even make it into the cafeteria without passing out from starvation.

Meow...

The sudden sound of a meow right by his ear had been caught by Nero and he merely let out a sigh "of course I ate breakfast...it was quite yummy....ah breakfast....how long ago it was....that warm delicate meal...such tastiness that went into my mouth, the suculent flavours bursting and tickling my taste buds...oh how I miss you breakfast" Nero said as tears ran down his face "OH WHY DID YOU HAVE TO LEAVE ME BREAKFAST! PLEASE BREAKFAST! PLEASE RETURN TO ME" Nero cried as he rose his head and placed his arm over his eyes and bawled his eyes out.

....meow....

"eh...Im not overreacting....Im just really really hungry" Nero said lowering his head and arm as he continued to walk and then soon began to mope as he walked on "doh.....but I dunno if I can make it to lunch....I'm gonna die before tasting the deliciousness of meat" Nero said as his mouth began to water..."dawww......warm succulent meat" Nero said wiping his mouth. With their travels they had at last reached the fabled cafeteria and Nero was filled with all sort of glee. "Smell that that fish...i-its beautiful" Nero said tearfully. "You must be hungry too Pikachu!" Nero sad with a grin as he wiped the tears.

"whaaa no need to yell....I mean sure you hate when I call you Pikachu and all, but the way you relax on my shoulder like this its like your Pikachu or something! why don't we become the Vampire Master! and eh?" Nero said as he suddenly stopped once he felt the cat on his shoulder had jumped off. "W-w-well fine then! more fish for me! see if I care" Nero said walking forward, on to walk head first into a wall and fell to the ground "eheheheh...that hurts" Nero said dazed with a smile as he laid on the ground.

 

Caleb decided to test Arthur's notion on people but what he judges of the other classmates. He decided to start at the table with Suzie, which he pointed out earlier.
"Ok Arthur." Caleb said, "Since you're acting so smart today, what do you think of those girls at the same table as Miss Hotty in Pink?"
Arthur gave a look, and frowned. He turned back, and lowered his head slightly.
"I don't like either of them." Arthur said, glaring at the two. "The redhead looks like a time bomb, not to mention she looks like the energetic type, but combined with the witch next to her, they can be trouble."
"They look normal chicks to me."
"So it would seem to you." Arthur said, worried. "I just have a bad feeling about those girls. Bad luck, y'know?" He put his fork down, and began twisting a lock of hair with the same look he had whenever deep in thought. Caleb decided to move to the next table.

"OK, how about those guys?" Caleb asked his brother. Arthur looked at the table, dropping his arm from his hair, and let out a short laugh as he looked at Liliana's, Niall's, and Ray's table.
"The guy with the long hair is a gay. The way he moves and acts is flat out plain." Arthur said, referring to Niall.
"That girl's a guy?! No wonder he has a flat chest."
Arthur gave his brother a look that would've dropped a moose dead. Caleb immediately cowered. Arthur turned back to the table and looked at the other two and shrugged.
"That's it?!" Caleb asked.
"What do I look like? A personality machine? I can't guess everyone's personalities! Just ones that stick out."
Both brothers then fell silent, deep in their own thoughts.

Lilliana smiled as he explained, that did actually make sense, she was often unsure about where to sit. That was actually a bit of a relief as she actually tried hard not to look lost, she didn't want to be seen as some weak insecure lonely girl. Like she sat alone out of choice. She wasn't some little girl to be pitied. "Oh, that's okay then" She spoke quietly that time in contrast to Neill's loudness.

She watched the two boys in front of her, they had quite a dynamic between them. You could just tell they'd been friends a long time and were very close. Their banter was actually quite amusing, she wasn't sure if laughing at them would be considered rude though so she just smiled and covered her mouth slightly with her hand as she watched them. So Neill and Ray, she would have to remember their names. They were definitely fun to watch if nothing else. Her eyebrows raised slightly as the word boyfriend was mentioned, looking at them now she could actually see them as a couple, she just hadn't been expecting that. "Don't worry, it'd take a lot more than that to scare me away." She replied in response to Ray's comment before continuing "And my name is Lilliana, though feel free to shorten it to Lilly if you like. I don't mind" She bowed her head slightly as she introduced herself in respect. Yeah, she could get on with this pair. Realising that she was still stood up with food though and if she didn't start eating it soon it would go cold, she took a seat beside them.

Niall smiled at Lilliana and raised out his hand and grasped Lilliana's forearm, "Merry meet, Lilly."¹
"Merry meet." Ray repeated almost immediately after, he crossed his arms on top of the table and placed his head on them, so his face was directed at the table as he spoke, "It was getting really lonely here."
"Hey!"

Ray peeked his head out and he spoke, "I don't mean you... its just this table has been quieter than it usually is..."

There was a long pause of silence between the two before Niall turned towards Lilliana, "So Lilly." he proceeded to take a deep breath before releasing.

"Oh no look out."

"What former are you what do you do for fun what is your favorite color how old are you do you find anyone around here cute what is your favorite class when is your birthday do you have a cat I have a cat-"
Ray reached over the table and bopped Niall on the head who went dead quiet and sad after he did that. Ray turned towards her and spoke, "How about we just ask a simple how are you doing tonight."

"How are you doing tonight?"

After what felt like forever, Nero stopped chuckling like a delusional idiot and sat up rubbing his head "Maaaaaaaaaan that hurt..." Nero said hoping up to his feet before scratching the back of his head "now...what was I going to do....AH RIGHT! FOOD!" Nero yelled happily as the wondrous sent had finally managed to reach his nose.

Running off he had managed to finally gain the fabled meat he had been looking forward to. At last he finally held it in a tray. Though he could not see it, it was still a work of beauty. Taking a seat he took hold of a fork and pulled the piece of fish into his mouth. "This is....g-glorious" Nero said as he chewed, tears ran down his face.

As he ate on he suddenly heard the meow of an all to familiar cat and Nero's face brightened "Ah! your back! I'm still mad about you ditching me like that, but even so I'll forgive you and share my glorious meat..you must be hungry Pikac-WAAAAAAAAH" Nero began to said before his faithful companion suddenly jumped onto his face with a hiss "GAAAAAAAH I'M SORRY I'M SORRYYYYYYY" Nero cried flailing around until finally the cat jumped off his face and took a piece of fish.

After finishing his meal, he wiped his mouth off with his napkin and stood up. He took his tray and placed it in the designated drop off area and went to head off to his next class. However, as he waded through the crowded dining hall, he passed a familiar mess of hair and the cat with him. He stopped mid-step and turned to look down at what he was doing. Just a moment ago he was flailing about with his familiar on his face.

"What are you doing, Nero?" It was obvious he was eating, but he still wanted to know what exactly he did that made his familiar cat act in such a manner. Although, with his aptitude for unintentionally harming others, he had a good idea of what may have happened.

As he got closer to him to get a look at his face. "Why were you crying?" The trail of tears on his face was curious. Was he crying because the cat was clawing at his face? Or was it for a less obvious reason than that? He could never really tell with a guy like this one. How he ended up being roommates with a person such as him, he will never know. Though to be honest, he didn't mind it all that much.

 

Suzie smiled when Blaze joined the table. Roommates didn't always get along and she was glad she did in fact get along with Blaze. That was a good thing, and Suzie let it happen on its own rather than flip a coin to determine if she would be an enemy.

When Sirena mentioned going out after classes Suzie smiled and leaned her hand on her cheek, "That does sounds like a lot of fun... I don't remember the last time we all went out for some fun... well." Suzie flipped a coin and looked at the result, "Unless you count school field trips... I don't... they're lame..."​

 

Aside from the few people that had chosen to sit with him, Valister had ate his lunch in silence. There was the occasional agreeing nod he gave to whoever asked him a question, but generally he was quiet when he ate. Once most, if not all of his food was gone, he excused himself from the table and put his tray away. As he walked away, a familiar voice ran through his ears. It seemed that Nero and his familiar were horsing around, with the familiar getting the upper hand as it took his fish. Well, that certainly was something. Valister wasn't the only person who was interested in what Nero was up to as Daedric had also approached him. Well there was no harm in joining them. "Having fun with your familiar there Nero?"
