Yggdrasil has spoken and those who is has seen worthy were to be given the weapons to defend evil and protect light. Only this could keep the balance of the Realm of Twilight. Now it is onto the people on what happens next. The world is large and contains many worlds we know today. Before the Great World Separation, this was home.

1:00 P.M. - DAY 1 - 48 hours remains

Mist Eon Vindication, a girl of little knowledge of the outside, wondered the streets of Twilight City. It had just been 3 days since Yggdrasil had granted her and many other weapons to fight back the heartless that came from the east. How and why they came was unknown to most of them. All they knew was that Heartless were previous humans without hearts; without a soul. All they did was destroy and kill. She couldn't, she wouldn't let them have there way. For the generations to come, she wanted to show them a world of peace, not terror.

Her claws that were granted to her appeared out of thin air. People had begun to call it Materialization. It didn't matter. Heartless were coming for her and she needed to defeat them. So far, the only heartless to have been seen were the small black ones. At first, people thought they were cute dolls, that was only until they were attacked and killed. Mist charged at the incoming creatures and sliced them away. What was really weird about them was when one died, a heart came flying out, only to vanish. She hoped others who had the weapons of Yggdrasil were helping others as she was.

The man sat on top of one of the buildings on Royal Port. Another wonderful night he had sacrificing the living to the tree of Yggdrasil. He only wished to drench its roots with the blood of his volunteers. Killing was only fun in the night though. That's when the blood shined under the dark twilight sky. He licked his Scythes clean of any extra leftovers.

He leaped down and entered one of the buildings, after removing his mask. "Give me one of your best drinks sir. The day is fresh and I am in need of some additional pleasure." He tossed over some coins and was given a beverage of whatever the bartender poured. He drank and began to relax. "Where should I go tonight hmhm."

Zane Wynter wandered the streets of Twilight City, carrying his large great sword as he did so. He, like Mist, was helping others. Before he had received the weapon to fight the heartless, Zane had tried to help fend off the heartless, but he had been unarmed then, and had been little to no help at all. Not anymore though. No, now he was armed and ready to fight for the people that needed his help.

In a narrow alleyway, and suddenly a few small, shadow-like heartless rose from the ground. This wasn't the first time he had seen this kind of heartless, he had seen them many times before, and he knew that alone they weren't too much trouble. The problem was, these ones weren't alone. Shifting his great sword into a defensive position, the swordsman prepared for the inevitable attack and began plotting his own counterattack.

Dain was seated down on the gutter nearby Zane in Twilight City. He had his war-axe sitting on his lap, and was simply waiting for his prey; the heartless. He had already cleared out a few of them himself somewhat easily, but due to the nature of the dark he had a hunch he would find some soon. A thought crossed his mind as he sat; curiousity, really. He wondered where his friend, India, was. He had told him earlier in the day he was planning to go heartless hunting, and had mostly expected him to show. However, it seemed that that was not the case.

His thoughts were interrupted by the sound of metal clanging against the ground. Eyes still closed in thought, a slight smirk appeared on the young man's face; a battle was near. Standing up, he hefted his war-axe onto his shoulders and began running towards the sounds of battle. The hunt had begun once more, and the hunter was on the move once again.

Dawn skipped cheerfully home from school. Today had been a good day and she was decently happy. Not even the darkness of the creatures who hid in the shadows could bring her down. Besides now of recently she had been given the power to fight back against them with a special weapon. She didn't use it much however since it would mean her changing the style of fighting she was used to. It was too bulky to use her normal strategy, a fencing strategy. She usually stuck with her long slender sword that she kept at home most of the time. She rarely took it out with her because she never saw the point... well until recently. She had brought it out with her for protection against the heartless a few times recently but refused to fight other people with it. She never wanted to bring anyone else to harm.

Dawn slowed down as she saw her house in the distance, a figure stood at the door, her brother. Dawn loved her brother like anyone would love family but she also had a distinct fear of him at the same time. He always wanted to prove his power which meant he would fight and sometimes try to kill anyone or anything he sees as strong. Either way it was her brother and she ha to put up with him.

"Aww come on where are all those guys that follow you like lost puppies today? I am bored I want another challenge
!" Dmitri said, not in a whiny voice but almost a cynical one. He had a smirk across his face. He knew his sister was rather pretty and smart, that attracted a lot of the local boys. Dmitri took advantage of this and as soon as one stepped foot on their property told them they had to duel him for rights to see his sister. That being said Dawn was never able to get a boyfriend.

"No one dares come near you anymore Dmitri. We all know your power by now." Dawn replied calmly as she walked past her brother and set her
belongings down inside the house.
"Fine then, you fight me. Show me what you have learned recently." Dmitri retorted.
"Whatever." Dawn replied as she walked out back and grabbed a long slender wooden sword. The one her brother chose was slightly bigger and heavier. And so they started their duel. Both with very different fighting styles. Dawns focusing on speed and accuracy. Meanwhile Dmitri's approach was more about planning each swing and hitting hard.

Riluc watched the clouds as he lay upon the beach, listening to the sing-song clash of the waves upon the shore. The wind brushed his face and he smiled. "Man!" He yawned, the warm sun gracing his being. "This is such a wonderful day to be alive!" He laughed. The nice warm sand, the spray of the sea... it was all peaceful to him. Over Riluc's head, stabbed into the ground in an X-shape, was his weapons he got from the Tree of Life: Yggdrasil. He was blessed with two swords, identical sabers. Riluc knew he could dematerialize them at any time, but he couldn't stop having them around, couldn't go for a moment without looking at them. They were beautiful and interesting; he never had his own set of weapons before.

"What a wonderful day," he sighed, closing his eyes. Not soon after, he began to snore.

The white haired individual known as India strode along a path to where he was supposed to meet his friend Dain. He knew he was late, but he had been a bit preoccupied with his studies. They were intending to hunt some heartless together. Honestly, India found the creatures interesting. The darkness given form. He wondered how such a thing was possible. However, the chance to study them was...hard to come by to say the least.

In any case, they were going to die today. His eyes locked on a swordsman battling them. He tossed forth the Glaive given to him by Yggdrasil. As it struck the first heartless, a bolt of lightning was called down and channeled through the glaive, sending sparks to enemies around.

"Walking the endless street is better with a friend like you."
>>>Kotone walked along the dusty road. Today would have been better if her friend Rin had been around. She figured Rin had missed the bus and just didn't want to get to school, which was actually a shame. It wasn't your typical day today. Their history teacher had actually been entertaining today. He had told them that they'd all be swallowed by Heartless one of these days. Kotone had been one of the few that just laughed it off. Some girls cried, and some just stayed serious.

>>>Still, Yggdrasil had obviously given them weapons for a reason. Kotone couldn't help but feel like Professor Mono was right. She stopped to check out her sword and whip. The whip was bubblegum pink, and the sword had a cotton candy blue hilt. They matched her hair. "What a nice touch."

>>>Kotone continued to Rin's house, wondering if Rin had been as lucky as her to get some cool weapon. Knowing Rin, she'd probably go silent and mute until she knew what to do with the thing. Kotone gave a small snicker to herself as she started running, even more eager to see her best friend.

Dawn was noticeably faster when it came to attacking and dodging the attacks of her brother, but Dmitri was more skilled. Time and time again Dawn would try to jab at her brother only to be met with him blocking. He wouldn't even try to move out of her way nor did he attack back, he was toying with her. "Dmitri it isn't much of a fight when the other person isn't fighting only blocking. Come on, at least try."

Dmitri smirked. "Just remember, you asked for it." He warned. His stance changed, Dmitri moved his feet closer together and brought his wooden sword down beside him instead of in front of him. One could see in his eyes that he was becoming a lot more focused. "I won't hold back just because you are my sister." He informed her. Despite being ready to attack he didn't make the first move, he waited for Dawn to run towards him one again ready to jab him. From the position he was in most would think that he wasn't ready to defend, but that wasn't true, Dmitri had a trick or two up his sleeves. Knowing his sisters speed and tactics from many friendly duels with her, he planned out his moves. He waited till right before she would strike and disarm her. As she got closer he began to raise his arm but hesitated a slight but didn't move till her sword was inches away from his chest. He swiftly brought his arm up hitting her sword up and back with his own before. He then continued to counter by using the butt end of his sword to hit his sister in the chest.

Dmitri's sudden deflection of Dawns attack made her arm fly up in a weird way causing pain in her should. She was too focused on this pain to realize and stop his counter. Dawn fell to her knees with one arm clenching her stomach. When he said he wouldn't hold back, he wasn't kidding since he put a lot more force into both of the blows then he knew he needed to in order to beat her. Dawns wooden sword lay five feet behind her, and she wasn't really in much of shape to continue fighting. She looked up at her brother standing over her.
"Okay I give, you win." She said. You could hear in her voice that she was in a bit of pain. Dawn got up, picked up her sword and began to walk towards the house.
"Where do you think you are going? It isn't over yet. A fight doesn't end till someone delivers a fatal blow; neither of mine where and you couldn't land a hit on me." Dmitri approached Dawn and put the end of his sword to the back of her neck. "You aren't going to let me kill you this easily now are you? You would be shaming the Asphel family name." He removed the sword from the back of her neck and stood prepared to fight once again.

Dawn shook her head. He had got her there. Their family was never one to back down from a fight unless they had been dealt a fatal blow, even in a friendly duel. Dawn was forced to wield her sword in her left hand instead of her right as she prepared to continue the duel. Her reflexes weren't nearly as good with her left hand but she would find a way to fight him till the very end. All she needed was to break his defenses once, all her blows where aimed to be fatal.

Weee~ School had finished rather nicely for this young girl and she was just going to go milling about the day as she always had. Like a good defender of the light, chosen of Yggdrasil, yada yada yada, would! This involved simply strolling around the area, looking for a place to spring into action and be helpful! It was here, Twilight City, where the most amount of trouble was found...okay that probably wasn't true, but it was the only place she had really explored for finding said trouble. She was a helpful person, but not that helpful that she would go into far away places. No no. Especially when this place was swamped as it was. As she perused the streets, she saw something rather interesting. Down an alley way, there was just some weird black blobby thing, wriggling, writhin- OH! Right, the heartless. She was wondering what it was doing back there, only for it to turn around and notice her. As it saw her, it slowly crept forward, and so Amethyst had to go and do her civic duty...and kill the shit out of it.

Her job suddenly became more annoying as roughly four more heartless appeared to spawn out of the ground and waddle their way towards her. Taking off her play face and going into her more serious expression, she had her blade knuckles materialize within her hands. She then decided that they were taking way too long to get to her, so she sped things up. Running towards them, she first slammed her fist downward and instantly killed the first heartless. The two others jumped at her from the side, only for her to take both of her fists and use the blades coming out of the sides of them to stab them in midair. With that, only two remained, which simply tried a frontal approach. As they leaped towards her, she punched the both of them, killing them instantly as well. Well, that was a good days load of work. She was rather interested in just what these heartless really were, and why they were even spilling into here in the first place. Unfortunately killing them as soon as they appeared yielded little in any sort of breakthrough...but hey, it was the only thing she could do. So with that, she simply continued to walk along the street, looking for any more heartless to spawn and kill.

"What I need and what you're offering are two separate things."

Rin stared out the window. She had no idea what to do with the bow and arrows she had been sent from Yggdrasil. All she was doing now was waiting for Kotone to show up. If Kotone showed up, she could help her out. Funny thing was, Kotone was the only person that Rin didn't have a crippling shyness around. When it was anyone else, Rin was pretty much mute, even with Kotone around.

School was the worst though, people picked on Rin all the time. Kotone had actually asked to be held back until Rin could graduate so that she could stick up for her. Kotone was a naturally mean person, and she insulted everyone with a smile on her face. Rin didn't much approve, but it kept people off her back.

Rin heard her doorbell ring and got up to answer. Right on cue, it was Kotone.

"Walking the endless street is better with a friend like you."

"Heya Rin!"

"Kotone... Hi." Rin said to her shorter friend with a smile. "I got a bow and arrows from Yggdrasil."

"Really? That's hella! I just got a whip and a short sword. Guess I can tie the sword to the whip." Kotone giggled and showed her the weapons. "Hey, you missed school today. What say we take a walk as I explain everything?" She didn't give Rin a chance to nod or answer before dragging her outside.

Kotone recounted everything from the start to the end.
"...And Professor Mono said we'd all fall into despair! Pretty fuckin' crazy, right?" Kotone blinked and noticed Rin was behind her. When she turned, an arrow shot past her face and killed a Heartless. "Rin! Watch where you shoot that crap!" Kotone drew her weapons and readied for battle. "I'd just like one day where I don't have to do anything!"

Mist had finished off the heartless that had spawned. Hopefully Twilight City was in good hands. She alone couldn't do everything. But the little she could do gave her a smile. Some effort was being done instead of none. The sounds of clashing could be heard in the distance. She rushed over to see what it was. Two wielders of Yggdrasil were fighting against one another. That could only cause more harm then good. Mist needed to step in to stop these two.

She leaped forward and stood between Dmetri and Dawn, her claws blocking both their weapons. "Both of you need to stop. We are here to make peace, not war. Look, Heartless are coming and you two only care about a brawl. People are in danger..." She tried to plea with them.

The beer glass hit the counter as Grim looked at the clock. "Time sure does fly. Guess I'll head back for Twilight City now. More blessings need to be offered." He stood up an tossed some Munny to the bartender. The walk to Twilight City would take a little while, but that wasn't too bad. Luckily his horse was with him. "Despair, we are heading out to the City again. Let's ride." He slightly kicked the horse and the two ran off.

As Dawn went to attack for round two of the fight with her brother, her wooden sword was stopped by something that wasn't her brothers sword, or mad of wood at all for that matter. Someone had intervened in their fight stopping them. Dawn was almost glad for this. She wasn't keen on the idea of continuing to fight her brother, she was sore enough already from that fight and she doubted it would get any better. She knew full well that her brother was stronger and more skilled then she was. Dawn looked at the person who came in their way. A young girl that she had seen around Twilight city before, never talked to much though. If Dawn remembered correctly her name was Mist. Her eyes then darted to Dmitri who she knew wouldn't be happy with this change of events.

"Who are you and what gives you the right to be on my property?" He demanded of the young girl. "It is just a friendly fight between my sister and I. No need for you to get snippy at us. We will fight heartless later, I just want to make sure this squirt can handle herself first." He lie as he put a hand on his sisters head. "Don't want my baby sister getting hurt." He ruffled her hair a bit then removed his hand and tossed the practice sword onto the ground near the house. "Whether you like it or not my life and what I do isn't controlled by those silly heartless. Now get off my property." Dmitri ordered as he walked into his house and slammed the door behind him.

"I am sorry for him."
Dawn said with a slight bow. "My brother is quite moody especially when you interrupt one of his fights or training sessions, don't mind him." Dawn began to fix her hair that her brother had messed up. but when she lifted her right arm to do so pain shot down her arm as she winced slightly lowering it and tried to fix it only with her left hand. Dawn smiled and chuckled a bit trying to hide the fact she was hurt a bit. It really was no big deal, but she knew from past experiences that others made a bigger deal over injuries then she ever did. She had always found a way to continue on around that. Dawn walked over and placed her wood sword down beside her brothers. "I will be right back" She said as she ran into the house to grab her real sword. As she reached the back door once again she went to open it but instead her brother grabbed her right arm and yanked her away. "Ow Dmitri that hurt. What do you want?"

"What do you think you are doing? You aren't going with that idiot to fight heartless are you?" His voice was low as he talked. He had an obvious dislike for the girl now and didn't want Dawn having anything to do with her. Dmitri let his sister go knowing no matter what he said he couldn't stop her, that was one trait that everyone in their family shared. "If you get hurt by going to fight heartless with her don't come crying back to me about it. Got it?" He turned away from his sister once more allowing her to pass through the door.

"I am going with her. We where given these weapons for a reason Dmitri. I plan to use mine." Once Dmitri let go dawn rubbed her shoulder trying to make it stop hurting. "Don't worry, I wouldn't want to come to you if I was hurt anyways." Dawn retorted. As she stopped rubbing her shoulder and reached for the door handle a smile spread across her face once again as she walked outside pretending nothing was wrong. "Sorry I took so long. My room was a mess, I had trouble finding this." She held up her sword. The funny part about that statement was that Dawns room was one of the most neatly kept rooms you would see out of a seventeen year old. "I am ready to help defend from the heartless." She said proudly.

The war-axe slammed down on top of another heartless, crushing it and causing it to vaporize into a small cloud of black particles. Dain turned to face the other heartless, but mere seconds later they all, too, exploded into a large cloud of the black particles, their deaths caused by thunder as well as the glaive that had delivered their demise to them. Dain didn't even need to turn around, to look at who had thrown the glaive. There were not many people that tended to use glaives, and the one in particular that had destroyed the heartless was one that he recognised.
"Well, you certainly took your time, India" he called back over his shoulder. He was about to say more, but his attention was caught by another three shadows, now retreating. Either they really were retreating because of the inevitable death, or perhaps they had found another heart to devour. Not knowing which, Dain gave chase after them, gesturing for India to follow as he did.

Zane was a little tired after swinging around his great sword so much. The heartless, for all their lack of strength, had certainly had a high enough number to stall them out a while. He looked up to see who had come to his aid to help him, and saw a dark purple haired boy with an axe, and a white haired man with a glaive. "Thanks for helping me, I probably would have-" he started, but stopped as the purple haired boy began running after more heartless. This axe-wielding boy certainly held a lot of aggression. Zane gave chase too, following in Dain's footsteps.

After just a few minute of running after the heartless, Dain finally caught them. Heaving his axe above his head, he brought it crashing down upon two of them, leaving one left. He turned on that one, not slowing down for even a moment. Despite wielding a war-axe, the warrior was surprisingly quick. As his weapon destroyed the last remaining heartless, he finally took notice of where he was. He was standing on what appeared to be the front lawn of a house, with two women standing there. Two pretty women, too. Immediately, Dain lowered his axe and held it in front of him, but low to the ground horizontally. He began to flex his muscles, which there wasn't a whole lot of but he was reasonably well built. "Oh, well helloooo ladies. I didn't see you there, over the cloud of death that I turned those heartless into, with my amazing skills" he said to both Dawn and Mist. Dain clearly had an extremely large ego, and was making no attempt to hide it whatsoever.

As Haru made his way through Twilight City, he took note of the occasional heartless that popped up around him. Some had decided to attack him and were defeated by the broadsword he was given to fight them off, and others seemed like to be heading in a different area. Strange, what could be attracting the heartless to head in that direction. Haru soon decided to follow the creatures in the direction they were going.

Even though the heartless he was following didn't notice him at all, that unfortunately couldn't be said about the other ones that were still coming after him. Persistent little buggers. Though while they tried to attack him all at once, they were no match for his time magic. With a quick snap of his fingers time froze for the heartless, making it easier for him to wipe them all out in one slash. With the last of the heartless mist fading away, Haru soon found that he'd ended up at someone home. What more was that the heartless there were also defeated by the people there.

"Guess I was just following a random trail of heartless then." He said aloud, not really caring about if the people there heard him or not. What he was worried about was how Rune was going to react to being ditched by him. He did sorta leave her behind while he followed behind the heartless. Hopefully she would've go too overboard, but based off past experience, the odds of his wish coming true were pretty slim.

Kotone kept fighting. She used the whip's range by combining her sword onto it and swinging at the Heartless. One by one they went down. Still, there were a lot to go around.

"Help me Koto!" Rin called out.

"Hang on Rin!" Kotone said, using her whip's cracks to draw attention to her leaf. She finished off a few of them with her short sword, while Rin was (hopefully) thinking of a plan. Rin may have been shy, but she was an amazing fighter and strategize when she had to be. All the times Rin had bested her in wrestling...

Rin absorbed the scene, then snapped to her senses. She pulled out some arrows, strung them across her bow, and then drew them back, releasing them into the Heartless. As soon as they were done, she and Kotone ran, seeing an oncoming horde.

Kotone led Rin away, holding her wrist. "Rin, come on! We gotta find help!" It was then that Kotone saw a group of various people grouped together. "Hey! Help us!" She called out.

The early afternoon sun shone brightly around Twilight City, promising for a beautiful day but it was far from that. The city was crawling with various dark creatures, attacking and killing anyone on sight. Tyson simply observed from the shadows, looking around him to get a good idea of where to begin. These creatures seemed to have come out of no where, but why? And where did they come from? They were called Heartless according to the great tree, but when they died, a heart would escape and disappear into thin air. They had no wits, no brain it seemed. They simply attacked those who were living a breathing.

Others were joining the fight, attacking when they could to destroy the Heartless, but it seemed as if their efforts were in vain. More would just simply pop out of no where and attack again.

As Tyson sat there with his weapon at hand, he heard a cry for help and glanced in the direction of the voice. Two girls seemed to be overwhelmed by the shadow creatures and were calling for assistance from a group nearby. Tyson gripped the handles of his weapons tightly, ready to spring into action. "Here we go..."

He leaped off the roof throwing his Kusarigama at a row of Heartless, wiping them out. He pulled back on his chain, landing with a thud and then threw the sickle once more at another cluster, taking some out and dazing others. He then pulled back again and moved over to the two girls, keeping his back to them as he kept an eye on the heartless. "You called for help?" he asked, although the answer was obvious.

OOC:// Apologies, my cat rolled on my keyboard and posted before I was done.

Hey eyes were lead adrift by the girl who walked away. The apology wasn't necessary. At least tshe understood the meaning of everything that was going on. As for her brother, he needed to chill out with his ideals. The Realm of Darkness had opened to the world they lived in now. There was more important things to do than a family feud.

"Sorry I took so long. My room was a mess, I had trouble finding this."

Mist gave a light smile and replied, "It's okay. I'm just glad someone is willing to help me. These heartless are getting worse and worse by the day. Luckily they aren't the strongest. With these weapons we can stop them for a while. I'm Mist by the way."

More heartless were coming form all around them. Perhaps they understood that they, the weilders, had an advantage and they begin to target them. Having so many in a group must provoke them to attacking. That was until someone came around and bashed them away. "Thank you for your help." She gave a thankful smile. Behind him came another man who seemed not to care of their existence.

As it would also appear, two others were being attacked by more Heartless. That would make a total of 7 of them. An odd number to say the least. "Coming!" She yelled, holding her claws up and ready to strike at the heartless. She went in for the kill and managed to strike them down, watching the hearts float into the sky. Things were now a bit too quiet.

For some reason some new creatures had appeared in front of them. They were small knights almost. They had an emblem on their chest. The eyes were the same as the Heartless as before, dead and unemotional. They began to charge with their claws and attack the group. Mist fell to the ground not expecting these new Heartless to appear. An entirely new species... They were getting stronger...

Soon enough three more people had arrived. Two asking for help and one appearing to help the previous two. That had certainly increased the number of people there. Whether said increase was a good thing was a different story. The answer to that would come sooner as expected as more heartless appeared on the scene. Unlike the previous ones that they fought, these one had on armor and acted differently. If the heartless were changing then that would only lead more problems, especially if their current weapons ended up being ineffective against them.

However, so long as that wasn't the case, they could still fight. So as one of the armored heartless went towards him, Haru used his sword to strike it down before it could harm him. Fortunately they still vanished just as easily, the only different was the heart that floated into the sky upon their defeat.

Dawn nodded to show understanding for what was going on. She realized that it was getting dangerous to be out and about and wanted to help. She had the power to do so, so she planned to use it to better the society that they lived. She didn't know what she would do if one day she woke up and her quaint town was no more, destroyed by these wretched creatures. Dawn almost didn't catch that the girl introduced herself. "Oh um, I am Dawn. The grumpy pants is Dmitri." Dawn tried to sound cheerful as she talked about her brother when in reality she was rather spiteful right now. Her brother was an idiot who didn't know where to set his priority's or know when to quit.

It was only seconds before a few guys showed up on her lawn as well, one trying to show off.
"Yes you are very impressive." She said sarcastically to him. "Now if you really value your life you will get off my property before my brother sees, and don't try to flirt with him around, it is grounds for a duel, and trust me you do not want to duel him." She cautioned, but looking at the boy in front of her and knew he wouldn't listen. Even if he did it was too late, she heard her door swing open behind her. There stood Dmitri once again. If she had to venture a guess he was watching them through the small window in the door.

"Do I hear someone trying to hit on my little sis?" Dmitri asked as he surveyed the area. They was more then one young man on his property. They would all get the chance to fight with him but it started with the one with the battle ax. "Hey you. Kid! If you want anything to do with my sister then you will have to go through me. That is beat me in a duel. But I am sure dawn will tell you that you don't have any chance with that." Dmitri walked forward with his real sword in his hand. He shot a mean look at Mist then turned to all the other males on his property. "That goes for all of you! Any of you want to have anything to do with my sister or even step foot on my property have to defeat me in a duel. That being said save yourself the pain and go before you get injured."

Dawn simply sighed, rolled her eyes and didn't try to do anything about her brother. She had learned long ago that it wasn't a good idea. She over heard screams not far off to help and as requested ran off to help, but by the time she got there the heartless had already been stopped. It was only seconds however before more appeared, these ones different then the last. Sword in her left hand Dawn began to fight against them. She was less skilled with her left hand, anyone who had seen her fight could see this but she was still good enough to fend off the heartless that came her way.

India followed Behind Dain, but the heartless were vanquished before he was able to do much. His friend then proceeded to use the heartless attack to chase some local skirts. This didn't surprise him much. While he wasn't much interested in such things, Dain certainly was. It didn't occur to him who this girl was at first, but after her brother came out, it occurred to him. He'd heard whispers about her. Nothing directly to him, just conversations among other students. The most attractive girl in school, guarded by a power crazed brother demanding duels. A beast guarding a treasure, it seemed. He didn't doubt Dain could handle himself against Dmitri, but now was hardly the time. He stepped between the two, attempting to diffuse the situation.

"You must forgive my friend for his rudeness. His hormones are raging beyond all control and he's desperate. Just allow us to eliminate these heartless, and we'll be on our way. Perhaps you may even assist us. After all, you've proven your individual strength time and time again, but teamwork is also a strength. Someone may accuse you of lacking if you refuse." Said india in the calmest voice imaginable. He played to Dmitri's weakness in his need to prove himself, attempting to divert his attention from Dain and onto the heartless. While his ear may be chewed off later for that hormone comment, it was certainly true. His golden eye turned onto the new breed of heartless. They were evolving...This was most interesting.

"A new breed. If they're growing into new forms, that may prove troublesome. The only reason we've been able to quell them thus far was because what they made up for in numbers, they lacked in strength. If that advantage is taken from us, we stand little chance. If possible, leave one alive. Capture it and allow me to study it. Information is as vital in war as power." He called out to the rest of those fighting. His motives were less pure than he let on. It was less to help their effort against them, and more to simply sate his curiosity. He'd wanted to find out more about these for a long time now.

Dain huffed at India's explanation of his rudeness. He didn't deny them, however, because it was half true. While he did have hormones raging inside of him, he was most certainly not desperate. "And you're making comments like that because the only time you spend with any women are the ones mentioned in those books you have your head stuck in all the time" he retorted. He was then about to answer Dmitri's challenge, but stopped as he heard a scream. Screams meant terror, which was usually started by heartless around those parts. The only thing Dain liked more than a challenge was slaughter.

Zane, hearing the screams, reacted faster than Dain did by far. While the meathead was standing there running his mouth, there were people in danger, meaning there was no time to speak. "Grateful for your help earlier, but less talk and more action" the swordsman said quickly as he rushed past Dain and towards the heartless. These heartless were different, meaning they probably fought differently too. No matter what, though, there was no reason to allow them to live, despite what the male with the glaive had requested. Great sword raised, he muttered a few words as he charged the heartless and immediately the heartless was frozen in place. Whilst the creature was unable to act, Zane swung his weapon in huge arcs, cutting it to ribbons before it unfroze and vanished in a vapour. While others may have gloated, or even felt pride over this accomplishment, Zane did not. Whilst there were people in danger, he would not rest.

Dain stood still for a moment, surprised. He didn't see what Zane did as trying to save individuals, of course he wouldn't see it that way. No, he saw it as Zane trying to outdo him and make him look weak; something he despised. "I'll keep one alive, India, but only if I get to land the killing blow once you've finished with it" he said simply, before running in, too, to slay the heartless. His axe a blur as he began swinging it recklessly, he rushed towards the black creatures and engaged in combat with them. New creatures or not, he was willing to bet they'd all die the same as the previous forms.
