    Ze Operator

    As Operator found nothing on the bottom floor, he had given up on finding who screamed, and began to tread up the floors of the apartment. Since Tessa had managed to find her room already and would meet up with him later, he decided he would search for his own room. His room was 204, which meant that his room was on the second floor. Some of the people who were stuck in the same predicament seemed to have roommates as Operator passed, and he hoped he didn't have one to bunk with. He soon reached 204, which, unlike some of the rooms, was not approached by anyone else. Operator fit the key in the lock and turned, the door opening with a slight click. He pushed the door open, a dark room awaiting. He fumbled around for a light, flicking it on, and he sighed in content to know that there was nobody else.
    He entered and closed the door behind him, he turned back to his bed, and his eyes widened. On his bed, neatly folded, was his black suit and mask, as if room service had cleaned up a bit. He smiled genuinely, taking off his school clothing and putting the suit on. After that, he picked up the mask, giving it a look-over. The empty eyeholes stared right back, the mask's off-putting grin smiled eagerly, as if greeting it's owner as Operator put the mask on, hearing the familiar huffing through it. Come to think of it, Operator realized his voice had also been normalized, not having any tick of distortion whatsoever, as if there had never been any machine that literally tied his life to a single kill code. He sat on the bed, deep in thought. Just what
    was happening? Who would manage to be able to do something like this? an old enemy? How would they be able to remove the Disorder Drive without killing him, it was even removed at all? What purpose would this unknown instigator achieve? He sighed, laying down gently down on the bed, his eyes staring at the ceiling. His eyes fluttered.
    "Whoever is behind this.." He thought, "...Whatever is going on....I suppose I'm enjoying the lull..."
    Before he even realized, his eyes shut, and he lost consciousness, drifting off to sleep.

    Axel DaSilva

    Axel, slightly disappointed, closed the door and he too sat on his bed. It felt slightly uncomfortable, and as Axel lifted to see what made it uncomfortable, he found that he was sitting on his signature trenchcoat, which had been absent the entire time. He moved it from under him, getting himself more comfortable. Suddenly, a thought came to mind. He looked around, and found a paper on a nearby drawer. He picked it up, along with a pen, and scribbled a bit on the paper, and then he turned to Shane, who seemed to be in deep in thought. Axel cleared his throat loudly, holding the paper up for him to see. On the paper, in neat handwriting, read,
    "My name is Axel. Like you, I have been thrown into this situation, and I also don't know where I am. I have special abilities, but they don't seem to work in this world. Do you have any idea what's going on?"

    @Glen

    Darcy Tullepio

    Darcy too, had begun to go to his assigned room, walking up to the second floor, and searching for room 209. He finds it, he proceeds to enter, and is slightly surprised when he realizes there was another boy already. He sighed, closing the door. This must be his roommate.
    "Hi there." He said amiably. "My name's Darcy. You my new roommate?"

    "Interesting how?" Zephyr questioned, looking at the unconscious girl. She looked pretty normal to him, but you couldn't always trust appearances. Hair color aside, Zephyr looked fairly normal and he could, well was able to use magic. Speaking of which, it would probably be a good idea to keep that bit of information to himself. Scientists and magic don't usually mix well and taking into account how she just knocked out her roommate, that was one route that Zephyr would much prefer for avoid. She was right about one thing, he didn't understand her genius. Zephyr turned his attention towards the other girl that was in the room. Since he had helped her place the unconscious girl onto her bed, he might as well introduce himself. "You okay there? I'm Zephyr by the way."

    Alex too had heard the ruckus that was going on outside, but didn't move an inch. His discomfort and shyness outweighed his curiosity in this situation thus he remained where he was sitting, on the bed the had claimed as his own. His brown eyes looked towards the bed that was still neatly made. Three beds meant that there was probably another person that he was going to be rooming with.

    "Hi there."

    Not hearing the door open nor close, Alex jumped slightly hearing the new voice enter the room.

    "My name's Darcy. You my new roommate?"

    Taking a few second to recompose himself, Alex opened his mouth to respond.
    "Y-yeah. I'm A-Alex." Darcy seemed nice enough. Getting used to rooming with two other people would already be a difficult task for Alex, so his roommates being seemingly nice would help make that task less difficult.

    "Teliana. Ana for short. Pleasure." She said with a half grin in Zephyr's direction before grimacing. "It's just a flesh wound. I'm invincible." She continued in a joking tone as her creator inserted an awesome reference. "I'd rather focus on figuring how to get the lovely scientist out and away. Or somehow keep us safe." The more she sat there, thinking about Isabela's words, the more creeped out Ana became. She was not safe here, and neither was Analise. Probably not her new acquaintance, Zephyr, either. "Any ideas?" She spoke quietly, hoping to keep the conversation between them. It wasn't as if they had any back up, and without her own magic, she wasn't sure how useful she would be in a fight.

    Was someone actually interested in what she thought? That was awesome. "I'll tell you how she is interesting. I am a scientist of abnormalities, and though usually it has to do with other things, this abnormality is cool too. I have never seen anyone freak out so much over someone talking to them and getting close. I want to see how her brain works. Why she does that. I think it would be so cool! I mean when do you get to see that everyday? A fear of others to that extent? She even got a little violent. I wonder what parts of her brain aren't functioning if any. Besides all this research will be FOR SCIENCE!" Isabella shot up her finger, excited about what she was talking about. That however is when Zephyr left to help take Analise into her room.

    "Leaving me. How rude of them. I didn't do anything to hurt THEM. I helped them by shutting the girl up, they should be thanking me."
    Isabella mumbled as she sat at the kitchen table finishing her first cup of coffee and moving onto her second one. "It wasn't like I was going to hurt her with my experiments." Isabella mumbled more before getting an idea. She grabbed the few things that she had used to knock out Analise and then ran to her room with them, not forgetting her coffee of course. If they wouldn't allow her to do experiments on just Analise then they would all be her test subjects. Fist though she would have to make up a knock out bomb. She didn't know what she had here to work with, but Isabella was confident that she could make anything work if she really wanted to, and her IQ helped prove that. Isabella wrapped a cloth around her nose and mouth before getting to work.

    Things grew quiet once more, Tinarah supposed that was good, whatever issue there was had probably ended. Though it did worry her that no one arrived and claimed the second room. Perhaps she just had this apartment to herself, but it seemed odd. On top of that Tinarah had made enough food for two and there was no one else here to eat it. She didn't know what to do for the rest as it grew cold. Tinarah sighed as a fear grew though her that perhaps the screaming was someone dying. Tinarah didn't know at all and she was too scared to go check it out.

    Finishing cleaning up the dishes Tinarah retreated to her bedroom, locking her door as she sat on the bed. The extra plate of food still on the dining room table, waiting for someone to come eat it, but at this point she felt like it was a lost cause. The young girl glanced out the window, watching birds fly up into the sky. Reaching behind her she felt where her wings should have been. How long had it been since she had flown? Her wings had gotten injured when she was attacked by the beast that one night, since then she hadn't been able to feel that freedom. How long had it been since she was able to get into the safety of the sky where nothing would be able to hurt her anymore, where she could feel safe? It had been too long. Pulling her knees up to her chest Tinarah soon pulled a blanket over her, it was the closest thing to the safety of her wings wrapped around her that she could get.

    "You sure your okay?" Zephyr wasn't entirely convinced that she was as invincible as she claims to be. It would be best to take Ana back to her room or someplace where she could be treated. First however, he listened to what Isabella had said. The odd thing was, if not for the fact that he watched her knocked the girl out, he probably wouldn't think she was as crazy as he thinks she is now. Possibly. However that wasn't the case, thus when she had finished speaking, signaled by pointing her hand to the sky, Zephyr had helped Ana to her feet and escorted her out of the room. "I think the one who put us all would know how to get someone out of a room, that or we could find someone to exchange rooms with her." Zephyr suggested. As for where to find said person or how to contact them, that he did not know.

    Teliana let Zephyr help her out, but stopped him in the hall. "I can manage it from here. I'm sure it'll be fine." She offered a reassuring smile, keeping her hand firmly pressed to the injury. It really wasn't that big of a deal. "I really don't think we should leave Analise alone..I mean she's unconscious, and that Lucas guy just left her, and I'm really worried that that Isabela woman is up to no good. If I had my magic...." she sighed, grimacing. "None of this would be an issue. But here, do you have a weapon?" She withdrew her dagger, and offered it to Zephyr. "If you could get that girl somewhere safe, I would really owe you." Or else one of us could try to track down Lucas, or another person. That woman is a menace. But perhaps she was overreacting.

    She voiced this thought with a blush, still holding the dagger out. "Maybe I'm overreacting. I just worry about my fellow mages. Especially here."

    The other girl hesitated. What for? Renée was being friendly! It wasn't fair of her to hesitate when she was so earnestly trying to get to know her new flatmate. She gave a wave and a shy smile before finally speaking. Hi, she responded in a quiet voice.

    Helloooo, said Renée, long and slow; egging her on. The big-boobed girl in front of her was clearly older and Renée didn't understand how someone who appeared to be an adult could still be this bashful. Shy people are soooooo boring, she thought to herself.

    The woman tucked her hair nervously behind her ear before finally responding for real. Um..I guess I am! I came back to get my gloves, she clenched her hand, smiling a little more, because a friend and I were going to investigate that loud noise, did you hear it too?

    Renée cocked a tiny blonde brow. Why did she need gloves to investigate? That was weird. She shrugged. I did. Nearly knocked me out of my computer chair. Was definitely not expecting that. It was like, 'BA-BANG-BANG'! With some loud CA-CRASSSSSSSHHHH. Her arms flapped around as she tried to explain what the noise sounded like. Renée realized she probably sounded pretty dumb and cleared her throat, her cheeks reddening. So um... she mumbled in an attempt to change the subject.

    I'm Tessa, by the way.

    SAFE!

    Tessachi changed the subject! She was all clear now. Renée had a smug looking grin on her face as she rested her fists on her hips. I'm Renée. It's nice to meetcha Tessachi! I dunno how long we'll be like this, but I look forward to roomin' with ya. She did a little curtsy and her platinum blonde hair fell into her face. Renée brushed the tussled locks out of the way with her fingers and continued to beam up at the woman. Big Boobie-cha -- Tessachi might be an acceptable flatmate if I can break her of her bashfulness. This could be fun.

    Sven was remarkably confused by the food that Cierra had found and tried to consume. So where they were had an obsession with food that wasn't actually food? "Surely it can't be that bad" he stated as he gently grabbed the box with the powder in it and poured some of it on his hand. He dipped a finger into the powder and tasted it, and it really was that bad. As luck would have it, he felt a sneeze coming on, and a few seconds later he released a powerful one and sent the powder up into the air, much of it getting onto his face.

    He paused for a moment as his mind caught up with what just happened, simply blinking twice. He felt more than a little embarassed, but continued on. Reaching a little further into the cupboard, his hand gripped onto something, and as he retracted his arm he realized that it was a reasonably large box, warm to the touch. He put the warm box on the bench and gazed at it for just a minute as he tried to make out what it was. "Evidently in this world, Cierra, they are so advanced they have the ability to make houses for living creatures using just this small box. This is what is called a pizza hut. Now, I'm curious about how it works so I'm going to open it" he said, opening the box and causing the aroma of freshly made pizza to come into his nostrils. He inhaled deeply, enjoying the smell. "Or it could just be a different kind of pizza. Either way, I think we just found our food" Sven said.

    "No, not a clue" Shane said, brought out of his deep thought by Axel placing a sheet of paper with writing on it in front of him. He debated telling Axel more about his own situation, and at first he wasn't going to do it, and then he had a realization; powers didn't seem to work there, so Axel couldn't do much about it anyway. Since he seemed to lack the ability to speak, chances are he wouldn't even be able to tell others. And when Shane's powers came back, if Axel knowing about them caused any problems, he could always just use them to make him forget they ever happened. "Before all this, I was a telepath. Had the ability to read minds and such, but since coming here I haven't heard anything from anyone's head. It's kind of nice, actually, but makes me a little uneasy" the boy said, attempting to give a little more information.

    [IMG]
    Christie wasn't entirely sure, but in a time like it was, a person who was needed was someone who was courageous and leaderly. Someone who knew what to do, or at least sounded like they did. They needed someone who could quickly analyze the situation and figure out the best course of action, and someone who could help keep the peace. Unfortunately, Christie was not like that at all so she simply shrugged her shoulders. "Not much we can do, I think" the girl said.

    "If you say so." In the event she couldn't stand on her own right away, Zephyr moved her next to the wall so that she would have that as support. He also remained close enough so that he would be able to help her as well should that be needed as well. "There wasn't much that we could do about leaving her there, but since they're on this floor, I should be able to check up on them." As for how often he would be able to do so, that depen- wait did Ana just say "her magic".

    Before Zephyr could ask about that, he was being handed a dagger by Ana, which he declined.
    "I'm good, thanks though." He had a weapon, but he didn't have it with him prior to ending up here so apparently it didn't get brought along. "I dunno about getting her to someplace safe, but I'll try to keep any experiments from being done to her. Once more thing, what did you mean by 'my magic'?"

    [IMG]

    By the time Ken had gotten to the floor the scream had come from, everything seemed to had calmed down a bit. That being the case, he headed back down to his floor and to his room where he opened the door to his room. Upon entering, he saw his two roommates talking.
    "So I'm sharing a room with two people then, eh fine by me." He casually said.

    Tessa blushed, then smiled once more. Her roommate was friendly..and kind of funny. She couldn't curtsy in return, but bobbed her knees quickly, hoping it would suffice. "So, do you have a clue what's going on? I mean, I saw one person here I knew from where I came, but it wasn't my home, either." She paused, uncertain how to describe her circumstances. Then something Renee had said caught her attention. "Wait, what do you mean how long we'll be roommates? You don't think this will last forever?"

    [IMG]
    Ana smiled at Zephyr's kindness, and gratefully leaned against the wall as she stowed the culprit that caused her wound back into her waist band. She wouldn't be forgetting that lesson any time soon. But when Zephyr said "magic", she nearly fell over in her attempt to shush him. "Keep your voice down." she whispered, glancing at the doorway that led to Isabela's room. "I have magic, or rather, had. It seems in this world, my spells do not work as they should. What about you?" Content that he would be quieter, she leaned back against the wall. Maybe she was being a little paranoid, but in this strange place, it didn't hurt. Not when her only defense was a piece of iron, a weapon she had already stabbed herself with.

    [IMG]
    Veera followed the conversation, absentmindedly rubbing her shoulder before deciding the floor was an awesome place to rest, and sat down. Her creator has inserted her only because she no longer remembers who she was waiting on to post.

    After he attempt at shushing him, Zephyr followed Ana's gaze back towards Isabella's room. Right, she's the last person that needs to over hear this. He listened to her say that she did have magic. It wasn't as surprising to hear it the second time, though Ana did say it so casually the first time. That's what was really caught him off guard. "I did have some magic ability, but not anymore." Zephyr explained. His natural born ability also feel in the category of magic, least because he could hear any of his spirits. Least he still had his fighting abilities. In other words, he knew how to throw a punch.

    Ana frowned. "Perhaps we are all cursed to lose our magic here." She sighed. "That makes things infinitely more difficult." And slightly more hazardous. Now she would have to resort to carrying around the dagger in order to protect herself. "Do you think perhaps we should explore?" She asked Zephyr, still loathe to leave Analise, but they couldn't reasonably stand here guarding her forever. Either the girl would have to wake up, or they would have to carry her, or Lucas would hopefully come back. The second option doesn't seem like much of an option at all.

    "I don't much fancy our chances of staying here and waiting for something to happen." She clarified. "And I could really use some sort of healing. Except magic doesn't exist. Medical attention, perhaps?" There had been human women in her world, after all, who could stitch and seal wounds without magic. Perhaps such skill still existed here.

    [IMG]
    Veera stood up, tired of resting. Tired of waiting. "I think I'm going to go try to explore." She announced to both Flora and Christie. "There might be a way out, or maybe food, at least." Come to think of it, she was kind of hungry. "You guys can come with, if you want." But where she was from, you didn't get anything you didn't work for. Or search for. And walking would take her mind off her injury. It didn't occur to her she might need a weapon, or anything really, to defend herself. Who would want to hurt her in a school?

    She stepped out into the hallway, and looked left, then right. Which way to go?

    Renée watched Tessachi bob her knees weirdly and shrugged it off. She was a weird woman, but didn't seem all that bad. Renée chewed on her lip, eyeing her flatmate.

    So, do you have a clue what's going on? I mean, I saw one person here I knew from where I came, but it wasn't my home, either. Tessachi told her.

    Haven't the foggiest, replied Renée. I don't recognize anyone from home and it sucks. Everyone else seems to know someo --

    Wait, what do you mean how long we'll be roommates? You don't think this will last forever? asked Tessachi, cutting her off.

    Well that was just rude. Renée huffed and balled her hands into fists, resting them on her hips. Of course not. That voice told us as much. She tapped her temple. It said to play along and then we'll go home. I dunno how long we have to do this for, but if it's telling us we'll go home then we're obviously not staying here. What a silly question. Everyone had been freaking out, but if any of them had really paid attention to the strange voice, then there was really no need to panic. I think this is kinda cool, like a manga or something! I mean, back home I got this magical paintbrush in the mail and I can use it to draw things that come to life or enter the world within pictures which is like super awesome and it makes me feel like a magical girl or something, but everyone else has the exact same power which takes some of the fun out of it. Normally in magical girl animes everyone has a slightly different power and there's super cool wardrobe changes that happen in brilliant sparkling glowing light, but none of that really happens back home. Man I wish it did though -- oh, right I'm rambling again. Anyway, I think we should just try and have fun. It's like an adventure. she explained in a single breath. Renée had seen the box her paintbrush was kept in, which meant it was here. She would need to test it out, but with everyone freaking out saying they didn't have magic or powers, she had a sneaking suspicion that her paintbrush would be pretty ordinary in this place.
    [IMG]
    Beep, beep, beep, beep. Renée rolled over in bed, slamming her hand down on the snooze button of the alarm clock. That was weird. She didn't remember falling asleep. Her body jolted upright and sleepy blue eyes raced to the window. It was definitely morning light. She looked at the time on the clock and saw that it was just after seven. Had yesterday all been a dream? Quickly, she crawled out of bed and looked around the room. With how similar this room was to her old one, it was hard to tell. Renée stumbled her way to the door and flung it open. The familiar apartment hallway lay before her and she came to the realization that yesterday was not in fact a dream.

    Why is it morning? The last thing I remember was talking to Tessachi in the hall here. She looked around in confusion. Whatever the case may be, it was now the next morning and the alarm went off at a time that made her think she would have to go to school again. Did class start at eight? Renée walked up to Tessa's door and knocked lightly. Tessachi, are you awake? I'm not really sure what happened but it's morning and my alarm went off and I think we have school . . . I'll be in the kitchen, but you should get up soon. This whole endeavor was just strange.

    Renée unsuccessfully ran her fingers through the bedhead of a mess that was his platinum blonde hair. She pulled the hair binder off of her wrist and tied the frizzed out mess up into a bun and made her way into the kitchen. She hadn't even eaten anything -- that she remembered. Were their memories wiped, or did they somehow just skip to the next morning? That was kinda creepy. It was like a whole section of time just didn't even happen. What other kind of powers does this crazy fairy have, she wondered while pouring a bowl of cereal.

    Left. Veera decided, heading that direction. She turned the corner, pressing her hand to the cool wall for a moment. That's strange. For a moment I-
    ~~~~~~~~~~~
    Veera rolled over, then sat up. She rubbed her head, gazing around the room as she tried to get her bearings. The last thing she remembered was walking out the door to look for food..she looked down at her clothes, blinking again. What she could have swore had been school clothes was now a long, baggy t shirt and sweat pants. Awesomely comfortable, but more then a little disconcerting that she didn't remember putting them on.
    She swung her legs out of bed, rubbing her shoulder before prowling around the room. It seemed both
    Flora and Christie were still asleep, and she didn't really want to disturb them. She was more preoccupied with the fact she hadn't eaten. Practically running into the kitchen, she opened the cupboards one by one before discovering heaven; a couple of chocolate bars. Two of them were devoured in seconds, and she was munching on a third as she wandered back into the bedroom area. So what did happen? Are we expected to go to school today?
    [IMG]
    Teliana started to say something to Zephyr, but her ears felt funny. She frowned, putting her free hand up to one, before trying to speak again. It was like she wasn't making sense. "Um, I-" she felt herself pitch forward as the air rushed by her ears and her heartbeat thundered in her head.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    She sat up in bed, panting, dripping with sweat. The salty liquid stung where it landed in her wound, which had bled through the sheets. Grimacing, she swung her legs over the side of the bed, hobbling into the bathroom. Once there, she opened the medicine cabinet, reaching for the first aid kit. Something in the back of her mind told her this what was she needed. As she sorted through to the band aids and wrappings, she also tried to sift through her memories. What had happened? She had been talking to Zephyr, worried about Analise, and what Isabela would do....and then nothing. That was disconcerting. She wrapped one of the long white bandages several times around her waist before tying it off, sighing as she looked at the nearly empty roll. Hopefully magic would either make an appearance soon, or she would run out of supplies.

    She noticed for the first time her clothing had changed. While she didn't mind her body, and wasn't ashamed of it, the thought of someone else touching her without her knowledge made her shudder. Had it been
    Zephyr? He's not the type. She decided, before peeking out. It didn't appear anyone else was awake yet, but neither was she hungry. She glanced between her room and the door, before walking to the dresser. Getting the "school" clothes on quickly, she left the sleeping ones in a heap next to the bed and walked out the door, eager to explore before she was knocked out again.

    Tessa felt reassured by Renee's words, and offered her a wide smile in response. "I like that idea. It's better then the place i came from, anyway. I-"

    ~~~~~~~~
    Tessa stretched, woken by Renee's soft words. Wait, how had she ended up in bed? She sat up, her hair in messy tangles around her face as she jumped off the bed with a thump, looking around the room nervously. She didn't see anyone...but how had she gotten in there? She had been talking to Renee, and....Tessa sighed, then took a deep breath. Relax. Renee said this was just an adventure. Something fun. No danger. She felt a bit better, enough that she walked out of her room and towards the other girl, who was busy pouring herself cereal. Tessa rummaged through the cupboards and found a pastry, which she began to unwrap as she sat across from Renee, already wide awake.
    "Um..morning." she greeted
    Renee. "Do you remember what happened? I don't know how I managed to get to bed, or why I can't remember the rest of the day."
    A loud beeping assaulted his ears and an intense groan escaped the mouth of Altair as he rubbed his temples with one hand and slammed his hand on the alarm clock beside him. “God damn everything hurts…” Altair mumbled as he sat up and rubbed his head. Due to the intense way of Julius’s suicide prevention everything was sore and to make things worse it was quite early in the morning and he was definitely not a morning person. “Hmm? I don’t recall going to bed last night…must have been the blunt force trauma…” Altair said groaning as he got out of bed. Surely that damn fairy must have set this whole thing up. After the deal with Crestatia he was quite more open to the whole mystical overload deal.
    Slowly and groggily, Altair dragged himself over to the washroom where he eventually began to prepare himself. He took a shower which felt quite pleasant on his beaten up body and eventually walked out fresh and ready to leave once he got dressed. It really didn’t matter to him that he had to go to school, but he did wonder what the hell was going to happen in this class. Taking his signature red bandana he tied it around his arm and placed his fedora upon his head. He was ready to leave, but there was one thing he had to deal with before he left. “Oi, old man get up…you’re going to be late” Altair said walking into Julius room and began to poke the man in the head with a textbook he just found.
    “Yeah…yeah Im up…Im up…Im…..”
    And then there was nothing as the man fell asleep once more. “welp I tried…tough luck old man” Altair said shrugging his shoulder as he walked out. Walking out of his apartment room and into the apartment hallway, Altair stretched out his arms and let out a sigh, ready to start the day.
    Renée had a mouthful of cereal when Tessa joined her in the kitchen. She gave her a small nod and chewed her cereal, swallowing as Tessa greeted her. Um..morning.
    Morning, replied Renée between spoonfuls of cereal.
    Do you remember what happened? asked Tessa, I don't know how I managed to get to bed, or why I can't remember the rest of the day.
    Renée shook her head. So Tessachi didn't know either. . . Not a clue. I'm guessing the fairy-voice-thing did it. Not sure why though. . . she said before going back to her cereal. Renée's knowledge of the situation was no more extensive than anyone else, but she was more willing to just roll with it. Things were definitely weird, but why not make the most of the situation. Given the time the alarm was set for, I would imagine we have to go to school again. I don't really like school, aside from art class, but there might be clues or something if we play along. You can do what you want, but I'm going to play along for now.
    There was a strange beeping noise and Roslind jumped out of the bed. Panicked, she reached for the dagger sitting on the nightstand and stabbed the source of it. The sound stopped and she looked around, confused as to why she had been in bed. The last thing she remembered was talking to the blonde girl. Another young lady had entered the apartment before the blonde could reply and then she was waking up in bed to the loud noise. She looked down and noticed she was in nothing but a cloth nightgown. Had she disrobed and forgotten about it?
    Roslind hurried out of her room and into the hallway. Why did the number of things she didn't understand seem to only be increasing? She hoped one of the young ladies could explain things to her, but asking questions was virtually impossible. If only she had some way to communicate with everyone else passed head nods and odd gestures.
    Heidi woke up to the sight of a sleeping Harley. She smiled and brushed his forehead with her thumb. There was no memory of going to bed, but given their past experiences, she didn't question it this time. Careful not to disturb him, Heidi crawled out of bed and made her way to the bathroom. She needed to take her medicine. It would be a few days before it really started to take affect and she didn't want to put it off. She wanted them gone as soon as possible. There was a glass sitting on the counter by the sink and she turned on the tap to fill it with water. With a big swig, she swallowed down the medication and left the glass in the bathroom.
    This was Harley's room, so she hadn't expected to find any clothes that would fit her. However, when she opened the closet door, there was a section of shirts hanging up that were her size and a small chest of drawers with women's clothes in them. She changed out of the pajamas she was in, into a clean pair of jeans and a t-shirt. Heidi couldn't remember the last time she had worn clean clothes. She needed to shower, but that was currently the last thing on her mind. Her hair was tied back into a very messy, matted bun and quietly she slipped out of the bedroom. She wanted to find Altair. He might not be up yet, but that just meant she would be waiting for him.
    Heidi entered the hall of the apartment building to see all the damage that had been done the day before. They had heard the loud crashing noises, but hadn't gone to inspect it. Heidi chalked it up to someone already being dead considering there was also lots of loud screaming. The second floor hallway had a large hole in the middle of the floor. It made it difficult to reach the elevator, she she would have to go in the opposite direction to the staircase. She stood at the edge of the hole for a minute and just stared at it. Heidi didn't understand how someone could make a hole that big. There wasn't anything at the bottom, so the mystery remained. From her position by the hole, she could see a person in the hall downstairs. She shifted back and forth in an attempt to get a better view. Silvery hair and tanned skin poked out from beneath a familiar fedora and her chocolate brown eyes widened. "Altai -- oooooh --- aaaaah-- !" Her foot slipped as she had recognized him and with her bad luck and terrible coordination, she fell through the hole, screaming.
    And so Altair just stood there with his hands in his jacket pocket looking upwards at the odd sight. Aft first he thought it was shoddy maintenance but with all the strange happenings he figured this damage was recent and done by some sort of idiot. "Man how the hell can somebody make such a huge hole in the floor..." Altair muttered quietly to himself as he looked over his shoulder and looked over the wall of a man just standing there "...was it him...why isn't he saying anything...him being so quiet is ominous.....just ignore him Altair..." Altair told himself as he looked back up at the hole in the ceiling. "Welp whatever" Altair said as he looked forward and prepared to walk forward, walking underneath the hole.
    As he walked underneath it the sudden girlish scream caught his attention and his eyes darted upwards at the hole above him "OH YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!" Altair yelled as he noticed a girl falling down at him. Quickly he took a step backwards and held out his arms hoping to god that he was able to catch the girl and not get his arms ripped off from trying. The sudden weight hitting his arm was not pleasant in the slightest, especially since they were sore from the previous day. He himself almost fell down but he managed to stay standing and hold the girl in his arms. Without even looking at the girl in his arms the teen let out a deep breath "oh dear god that was close" Altair said before giving the girl a bright smile with his eyes still closed "You're safe now but you should be more careful" Altair said, his eyes remaining closed due to the struggle of holding the girl, but not that inconsiderate to call the girl heavy.
    Rilia tossed and turned in her sleep when a noise unlike she had ever heard woke her up. She jumped out of bed and looked around to see what was happened. This world was strange enough to her anyways, and now these noises were coming out from everywhere. She missed her quiet life back home; though it wasn't all that quiet with the fighting going on, ironically.
    After a few minutes the noise stopped and she looked around. She saw a box on a stand next to her bed read "7:00 AM" and she wondered if maybe that meant it was time to get up. The sun was only starting to rise, and she wanted to go back to sleep. Since she was already awake though, there didn't seem much point in going back to sleep. The last thing she remembered before blacking out was talking with that Sarah girl, but she didn't remember what happened to that conversation.
    She figured she should at least clean herself off, then realized she was in different clothes. He normal attire was gone and in its place were some sort of covers. She wondered if maybe she slipped into them without remembering as well, and realized how cozy they were. There certainly wasn't anything this cozy in her world, that was for sure. She went to her bathroom and after a few minutes of messing with the tub, finally got water running into it. She found everything in this place to be very strange, especially with a tub built into a wall with running water. Normally she would have to get a water from a well or pump it into a bucket, and dump multiple amounts into a tub then heat it with a fire. At least this seemed easier.
    Taking a bath for a few minutes, she had gotten cleaned and got dressed. Lucky for her there were clothes in a dresser in her room, and she grabbed a red and white t-shirt, and some shorts to put on as well. There was a jacket vest she could put on as well, and figured she might as well do that. She didn't feel comfortable without some kind of cover with her shirt, since one layer of clothing was very strange to wear for anyone. At least, her world was that way, she didn't know about this world. Even still, she liked the vest, and found it matched nicely with her clothes. She grabbed some shoe from the bottom drawer of her dresser and went out the front door. She didn't want to wake that Sarah person, and figured it'd be best to let her wake up on her own.
    As she opened the door, she noticed a hole in the hallway and wondered how it had gotten there. Maybe someone fell through last night? She didn't know, and figured it might be safer if she left it be. She went the other direction and took the stairs down. As she got to the bottom she noticed a young man coming out of his room as well and then heard someone yell from the floor above. There was a girl who seemed to be calling to the guy who had come out of his room when all of a sudden she started to fall.
    "Oh no!" Rilia instinctively began running toward the hole, hoping maybe she could catch the girl as she fell.
    The guy seemed to be thinking the same thing, since he stretched out his arms and caught the girl, almost falling himself, and saved them from an accident. She ran up the the two and hope they were both alright. This was certainly one heck of a start to the day.
    "Are you two alright? That was a crazy fall."
    Acele was sleeping in her bed when all of a sudden a loud noise startled her up. She quickly reached for her dagger and unsheated it, prepared for an attack by someone she'd robbed when she realized she was in her room. She looked around for what the loud noise was and noticed a box on her desk. She couldn't stand the noise, so she went over to it and slammed her fist on it. Luckily the loud noise stopped, but something sounded like it shook around in it, and she wondered if maybe she broke it.
    "Oh well, at least that noise won't be bothering me again." She yawned and stretched her arms out, wishing she could have slept more.
    The last thing she remembered was talking, if that was the right use of the word given what happened, to that girl who came in with that Altair guy. She didn't even get her name, last she remembered. If she did, then it was at some point past her memory. She wasn't sure what to do next, and opened the door to see if anyone was around still. She knocked on the door closest to her room and wondered if that was where the girl was staying.
    "Knock knock, hey, anyone in there?" She listened for a sound for something to see if there was anyone in the place still. Acele wasn't even sure what to call this living area that they were in.
    This was going to be a strange transition for her. She wondered what to do, and them her stomach began rumbling.
    "Well, guess I can start by grabbing something to eat." She walked to the kitchen and peeked at what food they had, hoping something tasty came up.
    Xane Banner.png
    Xane didn't remember when he went to sleep. He was busy doing his workouts, while there seemed to be some noise coming from outside of his room, and just blacked out. He was a little annoyed that he didn't practice with his sword, and figured he would have to do double to amount of workout to make up for it. The one thing he couldn't stand was cutting on his training, no matter the reason. If he didn't keep in shape, he couldn't be a knight like his father. That was one thing he would never do.
    He did remember when he woke up though, and that was some time around 5:30 to 6AM. He didn't know for sure since he was slightly groggy, but even if he was used to getting up early, that never meant he was a morning person. He had to discipline to do what was necessary for training, that didn't mean that he had the ability to do it perfectly. His hair was a bit on the messy side and he was still in his clothes. He figured he needed a bath and went to the bathroom located across the hall. He took a shower and woke himself up, then went back to his room. He realized then that he didn't see a dresser or anything to hold his clothes. He looked in the closet, and lo-and-behold, there was a dresser. Why it was in the closet, he didn't know, but he didn't care. It left room for him to workout in, so it was fine either way. He opened the drawers and found some clothes to put on. There was a black t-shirt with purple lines strewn about it in a random order, and a pair of black jeans. He took them and noticed some shoes on the ground next to the dresser. He figured there wasn't harm in taking the shoes as well, even though he already had some.
    Getting ready to leave the room and do a little training, he went to grab his sword. He wondered how he would carry it though. Xane wondered if he should have his sword on like normal, and moving around in this space would be annoying to do with a sword hanging behind him on his side. Then he looked back in the closet and found a belt. Lucky him, he tied one end of the belt to the sheath of his sword and wound it around his side then tightened the strap on his chest. He'd need a better way to carry his sword soon enough, but for now he had something to keep it out of the way.
    Leaving the room and heading out the door, he walked down the hallway and noticed a giant hole in the floor. He wondered why there was a hole, and figured this might be what that noise was about. Well, whoever was going to fix it probably wasn't going to like it. He thought it was a nice shortcut out though, and jumped down. A single floor jump wasn't much for him, since he had trained in martial arts, so a shortcut was nice. Too bad I can't jump back up though he thought to himself, wishing he had his abilities at that point.
    Walking out the door, he started to go for a run, and figured since he didn't know anything around them, he'd just do a run around the whole school area. It was large enough, so a few laps would do a nice amount. Maybe he could find an open spot to train as well.
    With a beep beep from the alarm clock and the freshness of the morning, Alistair rose up from his bed and stretched his arms "Well now, looks like I managed to doze off..." Alistair said managing to leap out of his bed still dressed in his suit. "well then...giving this place a good look over I'd say this place is not to shabby...despite how pitifully small it is...nice work fairy girl...nice work" Alistair said with a smile as he head off to the washroom to prep himself for the day. Mornings were something that Alistair did not have much trouble and getting himself ready was something he was quite good with.
    In no time he was out with a nice prim and clean suit on. "sorry buddy...don't think I'll be able to take you with me....I'd turn you into something more convenient...but lack of abilities is lame" Alistair said sadly before walking out of his room. Exiting his room, Alistair watched over to the side and watched as a girl was nearing the giant hole in the floor. "Hey girly careful there you might fa- aaaaaaaaaaaand there she goes" Alistair said as the girl fell in screaming screaming "Welp...I tried..." Alistair said nonchalantly with a smile as he shrugged his shoulders and walked off. He really desired some tea right now, but tea was best with others.
    "Now lets see....room 202" Alistair muttered to himself before raising his hand and began to knock on the door. "Knockity knock knock!" Alistair called out.
    Roslind watched in a stupor as the blonde-haired girl from yesterday walked right past her. Did she really not see her? She trailed behind the girl and stood near the edge of the kitchen as she began to make herself breakfast. I know I cannot talk, but I did not realize I was also invisible. It left the priestess slightly irked, but before she could do anything about it, there was a knocking at the front door.
    Roslind turned in the other direction to answer it, hearing a familiar male voice call out, Knockity knock knock!
    Her feet moved a little bit quicker at the sound of Alistair's voice and she opened the door to see the tall man looming over her. Well good morning, she replied in her head, giving him a wave. Roslind stepped out of the way, allowing him to enter the space. He appeared well dressed, which reminded her that she was not. The realization that she was in night garments not intended for a man to see dawned on her heavily. The temple would be ashamed. Nervously, she pulled at the waste of the plain linen gown and looked around the room. She wasn't sure what happened to her clothes and she very well couldn't ask Alistair about it -- even if she had to ability to ask anyone about anything.
    There was a firm, yet soft, impact as Heidi felt herself land in the arms of the person below her. She looked up to see Altair's face close to her own. He was smiling with his eyes closed. The fall probably wouldn't have done much damage to her body, but to know he caught her started to make her eyes water. She missed him, a lot.
    "Oh dear god, that was close." he said, his eyes still closed. "You're safe now, but you should be more careful."
    Heidi nodded her head, though he didn't seem to see it with his eyes shut.
    "Are you two alright? That was a crazy fall." came another voice.
    Heidi looked away from Altair's face to see a girl come to a stop in front of them. She looked like she had been running. "I'm - I'm okay, thanks." Shifting in Altair's arms, she moved to get down. "Altair, you can let me down," she told him. It felt comforting and peaceful to be pressed up against the warmth of his body, but he looked like he was struggling to support her. He had sustained a few injuries in the past and he looked worse for wear. Heidi didn't remember seeing him look so beat up yesterday, but she only saw him from a distance. When he set her down, she kept her hand balled up in his sleeve, not letting go. She didn't want him to disappear again -- not Altair, not Harley. As far as Heidi was concerned, the rest of the people were just enemies.
    You could always take them out now. . .
    She shook her head and bit down on her lip. They would go away soon. She just had to hold out for a little bit longer.
