Based on the anime Tsukuyomi: Moon Phase ,this roleplay uses some of it's concepts and ideas. Though it doesn't take place in the same time period and it does not follow the storyline. So those new to this series can join without having watched the series.

During the Victorian era vampires reigned over Europe with a force that was unmatched by many. Vampires became so powerful that they soon developed societies that mirrored the European noble systems during that time. The Vampires who were born into this society were known as the Blue Blooded Vampires and they stayed at the top of the Vampire world, though not all vampires were equal. A great portion of the vampire population consisted of the Ludo, secondary vampires who were once humans that had been chosen by the Blue Bloods to become vampires and eternally serve under them. Once bitten by a Blue Blood, a human became that vampire's loyal servant and gained the status of a secondary vampire. Its almost impossible for a Ludo to break his or her chains from their master and a Ludo can never say no or never speak a lie to their master. Even secondary vampires can turn humans into slaves of their own and because of this endless chains of Ludo can form.

These chains are what make the Blue Blood vampire families powerful and only they hold true power over these extensive chains. Death of the Master is one way to free a Ludo. Though there exists another way for the Ludo to break their chains and ultimately break free of their master, they would have to drink the blood of someone known as the Vampire's Lover. The existence of the Vampire's Lover to many is a myth and for the Ludo it is a story they remind themselves of to help them fall asleep with hopes for freedom. But really the Vampire's Lover is not a myth and the existence of such a being would prove disastrous for the Blue Bloods and become a godsend for the Ludo. The Vampire's Lover comes in the form of a human that when bitten by a vampire, he or she will not turn into a Ludo and are basically immune to the bite of any vampire no matter which rank. Though if a Ludo were to bite the Vampire's Lover, one drop of that person's blood would sever the chains that binds that Ludo to their master and essentially that vampire will forever become free and independent like the Blue Bloods above them. As a result anyone who is proven to be the Vampire's Lover is usually hunted down and killed by the Blue Bloods in order to destroy any chance of freedom for the Ludo and the Blue Bloods regularly drill it into the heads of their servants that the Vampire's Lover is all but a myth to contain any thoughts of giving it a try. But the prophecy tells that someday the one who is Vampire's Lover will be victorious in breaking the chains that allow the Bluebloods to stay in control.

Though the problem is, the Vampire's Lover is a very rare occurrence and when one is born they have no idea that they are what they are. But some say there is one way to tell if one is the Vampire's Lover without actually biting them first. You see before that vampire bites a normal human, they use their hypnotic eye to prevent the victim from resisting the vampire's advances. But with the Vampire's Lover, the hypnotic eye doesn't work and the human can actually push them off. But this is where it gets tricky, because magically inclined humans and psychics can also avoid the hypnotic eye because of the effect the magic has on their souls and bodies. So they too can push a vampire off. This is how distinguishing a Vampire's Lover is so complicated.

  Vampire Politics and Coexistence
  
  • In the vampire world there is a lack of a ruler or a royal family, so a committee comprising of chosen political officials that come from noble families makes up the governing system.
  • The humans and vampires usually keep their politics to themselves so rarely do Vampires get involved with human politics unless it interests them personally or provides some sort of gain.
  • Vampires, especially noble bluebloods, depending on their sociability are either very solitary or they are very social beings. They are known for having intricate networks of acquaintances with other vampires so mostly even knows each other if they have status. The family names of wealthy vampiric families are common knowledge among those who are part of these vampiric communities.
  • Sometimes vampires have noble titles in the human world and they can masquerade as human public officials or a human aristocrat if given the chance. Though even if the vampire is a king or a queen in the human world, their title doesn't follow them into the world of vampires.
  Feeding and the Blood Pact
  
  • The minimum for any vampire's need to feed is once a Month, under a full moon. Though vampires can drink blood from as many humans as they wish. Though a vampire cannot to choose if the person they bite becomes a ludo or not. So vampires have a choice of making a blood pact with the victim, turning them into a ludo or feeding the victim the blood of a vampire, which is extremely toxic in itself to the point it will poison the victim before they had a chance to turn into a ludo.
  • Though if a vampire were to drink the blood of a magically inclined person or psychic they can gain great stamina and strength. Though vampires can eat regular foods as their main source of nutrition besides blood, the only treat blood as if it were wine.
  Powers and Vampire physics
  
  • Vampires exist in every country and there about three to four blue blood families existing in each country.
  • Vampires have magic powers of their own, they can also summon animals and creatures (familiars) of the darkness to aid them. Vampires can also transform into animals, but their skills are unique to each individual.
  • Blue Blood Vampires can be born as Day Walkers (Aka sunlight can't hurt them). So you can choose to have your Blue Blood Vampire to be a Day Walker. But there can only be a certain amount of day walkers so you have to gain special permission from me if you want to be one, so we can avoid having too many day walkers running around.
  • Vampires can fly and they are very sensitive to heat.
  Blood relations and Heredity/Status rules
  -Vampires cannot breed with humans if they are a Ludo. But Ludo and Bluebloods can breed with each other and whatever offspring they produce is considered a Independent Vampire. Independent Vampires have all the traits and weaknesses of Blue Bloods, but they will never be considered Blue Bloods. They may outrank Ludo, though they cannot supersede the Blue Bloods in the Social Hierarchy of Vampires. If a Independent Vampire and Blueblood mixed, the resulting offspring would be considered a Blueblood by that time.
  
  
  Ludo Weaknesses
  
  • Ludo are vulnerable to all Magical or Spiritual Attacks.
  • Garlic will only give them a Allergic Reaction
  • The sight of a crucifix will only disgust a Ludo
  • Ludo can't go inside Churches without being invited by a member of the Clergy.
  • Sunlight is deadly for a Ludo.
  Blue Blood and Independent Vampire Weaknesses
  
  • Garlic, Holy Water, Crucifixes, and Churches have no affect at all on Blue Bloods.
  • Blue Bloods are vulnerable to all Magical or Spiritual Attacks. This is totally dependent on the power level of the attack.
  • Sunlight is deadly unless the vampire was born a Day Walker.
  • A Blue Blood cannot enter a stranger's house without being invited.

  Vampire's Lover
  
  • The Vampire's Lover has already been predetermined in the rp and the role given to a random person in the roleplay. Though to who this person is, the information is being withheld unless they are found out.
  Non Vampiric or Human Species
  
  • Species or mythical creatures aside from Humans and Vampires are allowed, but they must be discussed with me before you can consider it.
  • You can make any character a human and your human can have magical powers. You can also choose your character to be of any social class and race as long as it's logical during this time period.
  Vampire Hybrids
  
  • Human/Vampire hybrid characters can exist but they are very very vulnerable to heat but they can go out in sunlight and they don't need to drink blood once a month though they may have a slight craving for it. They cannot make blood pacts with humans or turn them into Ludo either.
    But before you make a hybrid please check with us first since we want only a limited amount of hybrids in this rp.

  • You can also choose to have your character be any occupation like a vampire hunter, or cleric. and much more but make sure its reasonable with the time period
  • Your character can be of any rank as long as it's realistic.

  Personality: Dexter appears to be a calm and well mannered fellow but he has a bit of a sadistic side to him. He likes to play games with people and instill fear into them. He has a eerie aura about him that pairs well with his bloodthirsty nature. It is said his favorite time of the day is the morning executions of treasonous and criminal people that are held on the campus of the Committee hall.
  Appearance : 6'8 Long black hair and yellow eyes with slits in them. He has a set of sharp teeth, but other then that he is pretty handsome. He is a tall and slender fellow whose presence is a bit intimidating.
  Bio: Dexter has been the chairman of the Vampiric Welfare Committee for nearly 200 years and it seems he isn't going to loose his role anytime soon. He lives in the Committee hall in London and he spends most of his time going off on his own agenda, attending meetings, or social events. He has a crew of human servants that work at the Committee hall though he chooses not to keep any Ludo, instead he's got his crew of servants under some form of magical mind control. His familiars are demonic sheep, deer, water snakes, and crows.

  Appearance: 6'2 Handsome with lengthy dirty blonde hair that falls a little bit below his ears, normal skin tone, and bright green eyes. Konstanze's body is slightly toned. He likes to wear stylish clothes alot and refrains from wearing gloomy attire.
  Bio: Konstanze comes from a long line of blueblood German vampires. His mother went missing a long time ago and the mystery behind her disappearance has never been solved.His father is a vampire supremacist and a bit of a jerk, and his sister a little distant, so he looks to his grandfather for guidance. Konstanze is rather wealthy and shows it in a eccentric way. As for his stance on the whole Vampire's Lover concept. He seems to not care about it all and wouldn't mind letting his servants break their chains.

  Personality: Alux is blood thirsty and like his master a bit psychotic. But most of the time he appears to be rather calm and collected, its only when he has to fight or gets ticked off enough does he come out with his true colors.
  Appearance: 6'0 Dark brown hair with silver colored eyes. He wears a blue button up shirt, brown trousers, suspenders, and a green trench coat.
  Bio: Alux has been serving under Konstanze Nachtnadel for almost as long as his master's been in existence and its been so long that hes forgotten his human past. When Alux was still human his passion was medical science and he has carried his skills and knowledge over to his vampire lifestyle. Alux has more freedom to do what he wishes under Konstanze because Konstanze is actually more kinder to his Ludo then most other Bluebloods. Not only that but Konstanze and Alux have a trust for eachother like old friends do. With Konstanze's sponsorship Alux is the manager of a winery in England. But at this winery, wine isn't sold. In blueblood society another word for human blood is wine. So at Alux's winery different types of human blood are aged,bottle,and sold Alux takes great pride in his winery and is determined to better his blood samples everyday. This means that at night, Alux goes harvesting for blood donations. He normally doesn't kill people to get the blood samples, he just knocks them out with magic and draws the blood using a giant syringe.

  Personality: Wise, intelligent, calm, yet she can be very sarcastic at times in a way that seems deadly. Sequorra is very refined and talks like a noble, this misleads people into thinking she is one sometimes.
  Appearance: 5'5 She is a soft beauty with long Hair that is so black that it has a slight blue sheen to it, her eyes are a bright turquoise color and her skin is rather pale. Sequorra strikes many as being not from around here. Shes from eastern Europe so her looks seem rather different compared to any mainland European folk. Not only that but continuous use of magic has begun to change her body so her beauty may seem otherworldly to many and her presence to vampires and humans seems both extremely strange and alluring.
  Bio: Sequorra has no memory of her life before age six and when she was young she was adopted by a Russian resident sorceress Baba Yaga and trained as a apprentice. But when the girl finished her apprenticeship Sequorra was forced to go out into the world on her own .Sequorra is traveler and is regularly seen traveling by foot or by horse drawn wagon. Sequorra is a Witch and because of that shes harassed regularly by both humans and by vampires so she normally sticks to herself or travels with Circus goers or Gypsies when she can find them. Sequorra's animal familiars are ravens, black cats, birds, and nightingales.

  Bio: Anastasiya grew up in a musician-filled family and she was destined to be a famous flute-player, until the fateful day arrived. Her home was invaded by vampires on Christmas Eve where her whole family was slaughtered. The horrific beasts decided not to kill her, but to instead sell her into the Dantès Trading Company where she was shipped to Romania for selling. Lucian's father had decided to keep her for his own pleasure, but when she fought back, she was soon lying in a pool of her own blood waiting for death. That was the moment when Lucian killed his father and saved Anastasyia.

  Bio: Born in Russia with four old brothers who taunted her since she was a mere toddler. She was her father's favorite child which made her brothers extremely jealous. One day she followed her brothers into the forest when she was six and a half. She tried to keep up with them and when she shouted for them to stop, they acted like they heard nothing. Her brothers left her in the forest that day, and when it turned night, the brothers returned to the forest to retrieve her, but she was nowhere to be found. In fact, she had been taken by Baba Yaga, the witch who eats children. Vika begged for her not to eat her, but yet she knew she would become the witches dinner that night. That is until after she met Sequorra. She begged Sequorra to save her, and offered her freedom at any cost. Soon enough, a deal was struck and Vika became Sequorra's apprentice.

  Weapons/Powers: Manipulation of light (Manipulates the light around him so that he can either blend in and appear invisible, or to a smaller degree stop the light from touching himself. Thermal manipulation (affects the heat of things. Can potentially freeze things solid or raise their temperature so high that they burn/melt. Carries a small sword disguised as a cane.
  Personality: Determined, can be very aggressive, vindictive.
  Appearance : Wears a black suit with a gray tie. Has short, green hair with the front left of it spiked up slightly. Very pale skin and sharp, animal-like teeth. Has two very small puncture marks on the left side of his neck.
  Bio: At the age of 28, Jason was a reasonably happy human going about an average life. However, upon being bitten by a blue-blooded vampire, he became the vamp's slave. He resented the fact that he was enslaved to a creature that he believed to be an abomination, and even moreso that he was one himself. He should've been dead, yet he wasn't. It was then he met Stefan Ludas. Upon explaining the situation, Stefan put an end to Jason's master and freed the secondary vampire.
  
  Jason contemplated taking his life, or at least what was left of it, several times but each time he reminded himself that he was not allowed to do so; not until every vampire was killed. He decided to use his curse to take down as many vampires as he could before being laid to rest.

  Personality: Somewhat upbeat, loyal, always thinking of a new tool to aid himself and his "business partner" Jason.
  Appearance : Messy grey hair with the fringe hanging down over his eyes. He, too, wears a black suit, however he wears a white tie. Slightly pale in skin tone, and has several small scars on his face that are barely noticeable.
  Bio: Stefan always wanted to be an inventor as a child. This trait continued until he was many years into his adolescence, until he met Jason. He heard of the Vampires, and at first did not believe what Jason told him, but eventually trusted Jason and believed his tale. He invented his best piece of work yet; his gauntlets. He then hunted down and killed the vampire that Jason was forced to call his master, and after seeing all the carnage and sorrow that the vampire had inflicted first-hand made a vow to himself to see to it that all vampire-kind be removed from existence, making sure that Jason is the last one to fall.

  Dislikes: Has a slight dislike for vampires, a very strong dislike for what they do. Doesn't like senseless violence.

  Bio: Errin was born into the noble masterson household. She had a privilaged childhood . Upon her coming of age, Errin was introduced to a young lord whom her parents told her she would marry. Errin did not protest the matter but she is a little frightened of her Fiance' as somehting seems off about him.

Johanna was raised to be seen and not heard unless asked for her opinion. She is by all standards the "perfect" woman of the victorian era. She was introduced to Konstanze Nachtnadel very early on. She found him to be pleasurable enough company though she didn't know if she could love him per say. To this day her relationship with Konstanze is more or less one of a professional nature. She does not object to the marriage but she is not necessarily in love with him either. He often abandons his castle for a few years to live among common humans before returning to his life as their ruler.

In Germany. . .

The day was drawing to a close slowly, the sky was changing her sunset gown for a blanket black as night. Soon the sun had disappeared behind the mountains in the distance and the moon was steadily rising between the cracks of the silver clouds. It was a full moon tonight and it's presence was cause for a Autumn festival that was being held by the civilians on the opposite side of the city which left half of the city void of crowds and only the eerie chilling light of the streetlamps would keep wanderers company. Though this half of the city wasn't completely ripped of activity, within the guarded confines of a large mansion a conference had taken place and had now come to a close. Even though the mansion had belonged to a wealthy human man, the conference was being attended by beings who lived in a world apart from the political lives of the humans.

A large round conference table sat in a luxurious dining hall within the mansion and several well dressed men sat around it. In the middle of the conference table lay the body of a deceased man who had to have been in his late forties. He had a knife sticking out of his chest and his blood lay splattered all over the surface of the table, painting dark image of claret against the polished wood of the table. Though the gathering at the table seemed to be in rather high spirits considering there was a dead man on the tabletop. " So there hasn't been a report of Vampire's Lover in years? I'm beginning to wonder if that blasted curse has deserted the reign of the vampire . . ." A man's voice said as the other men at the table chuckled as if it was the funniest joke the had heard yet.A blonde haired man seemed unamused by the comment and he just sat there with his faithful Ludo servant standing attentively behind his chair. A plume of red smoke drifted in the air from the direction of a man who was sitting in the shadows, a long black slender pipe was in his bony fingers and his yellow eyes was glowing in the darkness. " Maybe so... but nevertheless, we will keep a lookout for them. Maybe it's just this time around that all of those who could be the Vampire's lover died before their time. For now though... I think the search should be tightened instead of relaxed so that we will won't ignore any potential warning signs. For that I'm thanking Mr. Konstanze Nachtnadel for offering his help and financial support to help fuel these hunts. Though Konstanze... I wonder why you have never been on the front lines of these hunts... you are missing out on so much adventure." Said the man in the shadows who set his pipe down with a smirk as everyone at the table threw their gaze towards the blonde man, Konstanze Nachtnadel from earlier. " I'm happy to serve you Mr. Chairman. Though I will continue to be only offering my funds in this endeavor... I am ... simply too busy as of late to go on the hunts." Konstanze said with a emotionless look on his face as the Chairman sighed sadly.

" Its alright, I guess those who come from prestigious families are more refined and take less interest in matters of wars and battle... Well now, I think this meeting has come to a close, though all the topics discussed today were rather interesting if I do say so myself. Meeting dismissed early since the full moon lurks high in the sky, I'm sure many of you haven't made your monthly pact." The Chairman said as he leaned back again and everyone got up and began heading off on their own agendas. Konstanze sighed and pushed himself up slowly. He walked towards the exit that lead out onto a balconey, his ludo, Alux following him closely as Konstanze stepped up onto the rail of balcony and looked down. " Well now, I guess it's time that we go make some friends... are we doing this together?" Konstanze asked as Alux sighed and climbed up onto the rail with his master. " I will go find my prey on my own tonight, you don't need me distracting you since you haven't fed yet." Alux said as Konstanze chuckled. " Alright then, we will meet back at the estate I guess." Konstanze said as he jumped off the rail and seemed to drift in the air before he perched on the head of a stone gargoyle on a nearby building and then he jumped down, disappearing into the night.

Meanwhile . . .

A young woman with long black hair was sitting outside at a Cafe that seemed almost deserted due to the festival, she was enjoying a cup of tea as a couple of men sung drunkenly down the lane. It seemed only the sounds of the wind and the crickets were her only company.

 

The sky had lost its alluring crimson glow and now nothing but a gloomy dark azul crowded the sky. "How boring," the young girl thought to herself as she walked through the darkened alleyways. It had been nearly three months she had been living in Germany. How horrible the thoughts were that drifted into her head when she thought more and more about what had happened those three years ago in Romania. Maybe this could be the time she could make some happy memories, or at least that's what her mind kept telling her. Yet, she knew that no happy memories would grow inside her saddened heart. She stopped under a flickering streetlamp to look back down at her map. "Where am I?" she muttered in a low voice as she looked up from her map to survey where she was exactly. The only people that were in sight was a group of men who reeked of strong liquor. "I need assistance," she thought. She then noticed a woman sitting at a cafe. She was beautiful yet had a strange aura about her that made the girl look at her with even more interest. "Maybe she can help me," she said quietly as she put her map away and walked towards the cafe.

 

The lone woman drunk her clove tea, letting the pungent smell drift into her nose as she listened to the sounds of the festival carry over the autumn wind. Sequorra set her cup down on the table and reclined a bit in her chair as she turned her gaze towards the sound of footsteps. Her eyes fell upon the figure of the girl in the shadows and at first Sequorra acted as if she had noticed her in hopes the girl would go past but then she noticed the girl was looking at her. " Is there something you need miss?' Sequorra asked as her long black hair flowed in the air.

 

Stefan was at an old, run down home in Germany, situated in the town that the conference had been held in. He'd traveled there only a few weeks ago upon hearing about the conference from Jason, who in turn had heard about it from one of the vampire servants of an attending vampire. Stefan sat down on the chair in the kitchen, activating the gauntlets he held in front of him. The gauntlets had small wires running into his nervous system itself, so that the thoughts transmitted would relay to the gauntlets as well and set off a certain reaction, depending on what the thought was. In this case, it was a thought centred around heating up the small spikes on the ends of the gauntlets so that they caught aflame. He was hungry, and he had not had time to purchase an oven for the home yet, so his gauntlets would have to suffice for now. He placed the now-dead-chicken inside the kitchen sink and proceeded to try his hand at cooking the dead beast while he waited for Jason to return.

Jason Purgo was wandering the streets. He knew the conference was being held, or rather had already been held. He had been unable to make it in time, Stefan was far too eager to show him a new trick he had learned with his gauntlet. Learning to cook with it, or something along those lines. He walked casually with the cane held out in front of him. If anyone looked carefully, they would see by the way he walked that clearly did not need the cane, however Jason did not carry it for walking purposes. He continued walking, and he felt he was getting close to his objective now. His objective was remarkably simple, it was a human teenage boy. He despised the fact that he had to feed on the blood of humans but if he did not, he would die..again. Being a vampire was something he saw as an abomination; a creature that was supposed to be dead but wasn't. So when he fed, he tended to choose victims that would leave as little impact as possible. The teenager he had chosen, in this instance, was a local thug that seemed to enjoy beating people up for no reason at all. A fitting target for the feed, he thought. He rounded a corner into an alleyway, and there he saw the teenager. He was unable to stop the familiar popping out of his fangs as he approached the teenager, it was time to feast.

 

The young girl looked at her in awe, "she looks even more beautiful up close," she thought to herself. "Umm....I need assistance miss, I mean if you don't mind. I was wondering if you knew where the Autumn Festival is taking place, you see I need to buy some Turkish Delight as a gift for my master-I mean friend. It's his favorite dessert." she said in a cheery voice. The truth was, her master wasn't feeling well, in fact, he had gone into another one of his foul moods. She looked up into the sky at the full moon, her heart was heavy. She knew that he was an expert on masking his feelings, and he always locked himself away in his room when the full moon came out.

 

" Oh you need to find the Autumn Festival? I guess I can take you there... are you sure you want me to lead you? I'm not the best person to ask when it comes to helping people..." Sequorra said with a worried look, hoping that her strangeness wouldn't scare her off and make the girl label her as a heathen like the adults would. Sequorra sensed something was strange about the girl herself, as if there was something inhuman about here. " Nevermind what I said... I can take you... i can't let you run around on the streets with all misbehavers on the loose..." Sequorra said with a sigh as she stood up at her table and put a tip on the tabletop.

 

"Really! You'd show me where it is?! Thank you so much miss!'' said the girl cheerfully as she skipped along the way. She stopped and turned around to face the woman, "By the way, I'm Anastasiya Villefort of the Villefort family." She looked up at the glowing ebony-white moon. Emotions began to bundle up in her, but she stopped herself from showing them and forced a fake smile. She looked back at the woman, Anastasiya smiled and held out her hand. "So what's your name miss, I mean, your so pretty and everything. Are you from around here?" she asked happily. She looked in the shadows of an alleyway as though she heard something.

 

As Jason closed in on his prey someone followed him in the shadows. The sound of soft footsteps echoed from what seemed to be all directions. A pair of bluish grey eyes seemed to glint and glare in the shadows like the eyes of some animal as a man stepped out of the shadows. " It seems someone got here before I did.... I knew jumping straight to first human I sensed wasn't a good thing." Alux said as he followed him.

" Ah I see..." Sequorra said as she tried to keep up with the young girl. She was hesitant with answering the girl since she didn't want to give away the secret of her being a witch so quickly. "Um, I come from Romania, I'm only a traveler who travels from place to place to do healings and exorcisms or whatever job is offered...." Sequorra said with a sigh as she slipped her hands into the pockets of her red dress.

 

The back streets were quiet compared to the main roads. The perfect place to catch ones breath while not being seen. It was the full moon and she was in desperate need of feeding but the young vampire could not risk being seen by any of the council that were in these parts. The woman, Nicholetta, as she had been called in the past, was now hiding behind a crate which appeared to be empty. She looked around the back streets to notice that there were several run down homes, all of which seemed to be abandoned in light of the festival that was happening not far from there. 'I have to feed....but what if they see me...they will kill me!' she thought to herself if she tried desperately to decide what to do.

 

"Really that's interesting, so are you like a wiccan or something?" asked Anastasiya as she walked by the woman's side. The ground was worn and dirty from the numerous years of no care. The buildings around the two looked to be abandoned due to the numerous boards nailed over the windows and doors. Anastasiya felt a sort of uncomforting vibe as though something was lurking around in the many dark alleyways of the city. She didn't like where they were, especially when it was a full moon out. Many vampires were becoming more dangerous and prone to attack other vampires when the full moon came out these days. Anastasiya looked at the woman, "You still haven't told me your name miss."

 

A carriage had just pulled up in front of the mansion home of none other than councilman Konstanze Nachtnadel. The driver of the carriage opened the door to reveal a petite blonde woman with doey brown eyes. She gave a nod to the driver as he bowed and then led her to the front of the mansion. The driver, who was a servant of the girl, Johanna's father, knocked on the door waiting to introduce Johanna though at this point in hers and Konstanze lives there was no introduction necessary. Johanna really hoped that perhaps since her parents were not in attendance that things might have been less aquard this time and that maybe she and Konstanze could talk for the sake of talking and not about a wedding which for neither one had even spoken of setting a date.

 

Jason turned to look at Alux. A chill crept up his spine as the realization set in that he seemed to be face to face with another vampire. He didn't want to frighten away the vampire, although he doubted he could, so he casually leaned on his cane. He heard footsteps coming from behind him, and quickly turned to see the human running away. He raced over and grabbed the victim's foot, then holding it against the ground he simply lowered the temperature to the point that he froze the human's foot to the ground. He then turned back to Alux. "As you can see, I've already laid claim to this one. Why don't you walk away and hunt for another?" he suggested. His plan was simple, he would wait until the vampire turned its back, then he would strike. At least, that's what he hoped for.

 

One of the lights went out at the end of the street as suddenly the sound of skipping could be heard echoing against the dark walls of the buildings lining the streets. Someone could be heard whistling the song ring a round the rosie in the darkness. Some mice fleed down the cobblestone path, running past the crate that Nicholetta was hiding behind. It seemed the mice were running from something or someone. Suddenly a man came skipping down the street past the crate, his eyes were a glowing green but it was clear even in the darkness that he wasn't human. His thick blonde hair rustled in the autumn air as the full moon illuminated the skin on his cheek " Whats that smell....a rat....?" Konstanze said as he stood in front of the crate.

" Me ? Working as a Wiccan ? How did you realize it?" Sequorra said looking shocked and a bit freaked out since the girl had somehow figured out she was a Wiccan. " Ah sorry about that... I am just a little careful when it comes to talking about myself. I don't want my occupation to sour the mood. My name is Sequorra Lunasea, being a Wiccan healer is only a side job to help me get by... but I'm truely a witch." Sequorra said as she walked with her. Sequorra still felt a bit uneasy about telling a stranger about this.

" Why should I give up my kill to someone who is on the same level as I? How about we just have a bit of fun and fight for the rights to this human.... After all he may be a teenage thug but hes strong and young... He'd make a excellent servant." Alux said with a smirk as he drew closer.

 

"It became clear to me when you talked about healing people. I find wiccans and witches quite interesting. They can use their magic to do good and make people better. Who wouldn't want to do things like that. I loved bringing joy to people when I play my flute." she said gleefully as she took her hands and acted like she was playing a flute.

Footsteps could be heard from the shadowed end of the alleyway. Suddenly, a pale man with somewhat messy black-hair walked out of the darkness. He was strikingly handsome with a set of pale blue eyes. He used his arm to lean up against the wall. He looked up at the two creatures, and then spoke " Well, look what we have here, two creatures of the night," he said with a smile that revealed two white fangs under the moonlight. "So, two Ludo are fighting over what, a young boy?" he slurred. It suddenly became obvious that the vampire was utterly drunken as he stumbled over to the two Ludo. He let out a drunken laugh and then suddenly collapsed onto the ground. He lay there, a canister in his hand that seemed to be empty.

 

Nicholetta seemed to freeze in place. ' One of them...' she thought to herself. She had been found out. "I suppose there is no use in hiding is there...councilman...I will not come quietly nor will I at all for that matter. " she said baring her fangs at Konstanze. "You can tell that filthy blue blood you call a leader that Nicholetta sends her deepest loathing while you're at it" she was not about to fall victim to one of the council. Her entire family had been destroyed by them. She would not allow her family name to perish.

 

" Ah I usually don't tell anyone of my occupation, sadly we still live in a age where stigma towards enchanters is common. Everywhere I go I try to lay low but I've never stayed in one place because usually my neighbors find out about my secrets in the long run and soon the whole community knows about it and labels me a heathen. That is probably why I travel constantly to avoid being in one place too long." Sequorra said with a sigh as she walked.

"Ah Miss Nicholetta.... I thought you would have surely disappeared into the world and never turn up again eversince that warrant for your head has been put out..." Konstanze said with a smirk as he propped one of his legs up on the crate and looked down at her. " Ah don't worry... I am not one of the hunters. I'm only the money man when it comes to the endeavors of the Committee."

 

Jason cursed under his breath, his ploy had not worked. He held his cane, ready to begin fighting at a moment's notice, until a vampire that was clearly drunk passed out right in front of him. He made a mental note to kill the vampire if he got the chance, but for now his attention was having to be directed back to the vampire that was contesting the teenager. "A servant? No, I won't allow you to create any more vampires. If you wish to fight, that's your choice. Although I must warn you, you should have taken the easy way and saved yourself the suffering" Jason stated. He had a firm belief in his words as well as his fighting ability, and quickly he removed the end of the cane to reveal the small sword it was disguised as. He held it in front of him. If he had to, he believed he could escape by manipulating what little light there was in the area.

 

"The council are a bunch of criminals!! Their power in society is stolen!" she said angrily. "If anything I should have a warrant on your heads!!!" she exclaimed. Indeed she was revealed that Konstanze was not out to kill her , however she was severely angered at the same time.

 

" Your opinions are right but sadly in the Vampire world no one has the power to overthrow the committee... the political power that is... vampire's rarely band together outside of family and the committee. Not even the words of a princess such as yourself can rally the help of others..." Konstanze said as he locked his hands behind his back.


"I wouldn't of listened to you... after all you are just a wanderer... " Alux said with a smile as he opened up his coat, showing the inner lining of his coat that held all sorts of knives. He pulled out two knives, fashioning most of them into the stock of a spear and making the largest one the sharpened portion of the spear. Alux seemed to have ignored the drunkard, deeming him as little more then a nuisance since his mind was gone from the affects of the alcohol .

 

"Hmmm, well I'm sure that somewhere, you will be respected, you just haven't found that place yet miss," Anastasiya said with reassurance. Her eyes looked down at the ground as they walked, kicking the same stone every time she approached it. Anastasiya turned serious suddenly, as if she had cracked her masquerade of glee. She crossed her arms and sighed, "Do you ever think there could be a world of acceptance, I mean a place where people would treat you the same as others?" Anastasiya paused and listened to the sounds of people laughing and shouting, the Autumn Festival came into view, she looked at Sequorra and grabbed her hand, " Forget what I said just now and look, the Autumn Festival, come on miss!" she said with a chirp.
