Zephyr indeed did think that he had gotten Xander to the point where he was on pure defense and continued on the offensive, unknowing walking right into his trap. He'd prepared to knock Xander remaining sword out of his hand so he put some more strength and force behind this swing. That was precisely when Xander had blinked out of the way of his attack which had almost caused Zephyr to lose his balance because of the extra force he had put behind that swing. Once Zephyr had gotten a grip on what had just happened he quickly attempted to turn for the expected attack from behind, but he wasn't fast enough. For right as he'd adjusted his footing the hilt of Xander's sword had struck him at the back of his head. Normally a blow like that would knock someone out or at least bring them down and for the most part it did just that to Zephyr. His vision gradually started to get blurry as he could feel himself falling forward. He may have had a strong will, but there were times where his body betrayed his will. This was one of those moments as his body collapsed onto the ground, down for the count.

Zavion looked up at Dane as he readied an enormous attack. There wasn't really much they could do in the way of evasion. They would have been dead then and there were it not for a barrier his sister had conjured. While it was a far sight off of blocking it completely, it made it so they could survive the hit. Even still, the explosion blew him off his feet. As he collided with the ground, he looked around. Freya was spent, Ghost had defeated his opponent, but was now cornered. Lexcifur was dazed and confused, Xero was too injured to fight further. They were losing this fight. He could turn it around but...

Dammit! Why was he such a coward? It was pathetic. He couldn't do anything by himself. He'd been hiding behind his mother his whole life. He'd tried to fight, to stand on his own, but there he was, laying on the ground defeated. The only thing he could do now to avoid the death of him and everyone he cared about was hide behind the power that wasn't even his. He slammed his fist into the rock. Dammit! Why couldn't he do anything by himself? Hell, he wouldn't have even gotten the chance to do it if Freya hadn't stepped in. He looked once again to Freya...If he didn't do something, she'd die. Her, his mother, Lexcifur, they'd all die.

Unsteadily, Zavion rose to his feet. "Lexcifur...Take Freya. Get her out of here. I'll deal with Dane. I'll deal with all of them." His breath was heavy, but he walked forward toward Dane. With every step, he cursed his weakness. His utter helplessness without the presence of his mother. He hated it, he despised the fact, but he knew it had to be done.

"Chaos, face of the end, i call to you. Through me, unleash Pandemonium."

In Lexcifur's mind, a smooth voice called out to him. "He'll die, you know. If you run, then they'll kill him. You've seen Dane's strength. The two of you together were nothing against him. There are only two forces alive that have the power to stop him. The Goddess, and myself. You've seen how much help she's given you in the fight. So, that leaves you only a single option to win your fight."

Rienzel swore under his breath as the girl pushed Stratos away from his attack. Had it been just the two of them, he'd surely have won. However, she'd been enhancing him since the very start of the fight, and seemed to give him one last surge of power. The pace at which Stratos now moved was far beyond what he'd displayed before. For a moment he could have sworn his hair was pink and he'd gone into behemoth force. Shaking the thought from his head, he tried follow Stratos' movements. When stagnant orbs of wind appeared one after another, he knew what was about to happen. He didn't have enough energy left to become intangible for the attack, and there was no way he could deflect all of them. He'd lost.

After a moment, the wind hit him. The force of the air crushed down onto him from all sides, and he cried out in pain. Falling to his knees, he knew he was defeated. "Jose...phine..." Was all he could get out before he fell unconscious onto the ground.

Lexcifur could only stand there, trying to think of what he could do. Anything. Xero was beginning to look even weaker as her posture slowly diminished into looking like she was about to pass out. What the hell was he supposed to do?!

"Lexcifur... Take Freya. Get out of here. I'll deal with Dane. I'll deal with all of them." Zavion spoke to Lexcifur and he looked at him wide eyed. He didn't exactly have much of a choice... But he couldn't just leave him there... Or his mother. But then suddenly he herd someone speaking to him. He turned around trying to see who it was until his eyes landed on the cave entrance.

Lexcifur bolted towards the cave. It was a ways away but he could make it. His legs were sore and so did the rest of his body, but he couldn't stop. Lexcifur wasn't even sure what he was doing, he only hoped that it worked and that everyone could forgive him for what he was about to do. He didn't know what else to do; he just had to stop Dane somehow.

He spotted a lone Keyblade and as he ran he snatched it out of the ground and continued to run. Once he was inside the cave he ran past everyone else who was inside, letting out a battle cry as he lept into the air and stabbed the Keyblade into the lock.

Whatever force that kept the Hero locked away was now destroyed. It made itself clear when Lexcifur was knocked back by the lock exploding. He was thrown back to the ground and lied there for a moment before getting back to his feet.

"If you're really the so called 'Hero', stop Dane! Stop everyone! Just make it all stop!!"

Freya had made it over to her bother and Lexcifur shortly after the explosion. She fell to her knees behind them, exhausted and hurt. She could hear her brother telling Lexcifur to get her out while he dealt with Dane, but she knew that he was in no shape to be doing so. "Zavion, please don't. You can't..." She tried to say, reaching out to him. However she knew there was nothing she could do about the situation. The matter was only made worse when Lexcifur got up and ran towards the cave. "Lexcifur! No you can't!" She tried to call out to him, her voice quieter than she wanted it to be. Freya tried to push herself off the ground to follow him, to stop him, but she couldn't find the strength. "Please you are going to get her killed." Freya said as she placed a hand on her head trying to fight back the pain and the dizziness. It was all over, wasn't it?

Cracking his knuckles, Lucien walked towards the dragon as the thing seemed primed and ready to take on any and all of the foes that were left here."Hey big guy," Lucien shouted to the dragon. "Wanna have a little playtime with me?" The dragon roared at the man with the cocky grin on his face, as the dragon went to smash his tail on Lucien, it stopped short of flattening the boy like a pancake. In actuality, what had stopped the tail, was Lucien holding the tail up with his hands, with a bit of effort clearly shown on his face. Letting out a grunt of exertion, Lucien pushed the tail upward, giving it a bit of hang time before smashing back down, giving Lucien enough time to summon his keyblade into his hand.

Gripping it with both hands, he did an overhead swing at the tail, as it was coming crush Lucien again, with enough force to sever the tail. The severed end ended up flying harmlessly away from both of them as it dissolved into shadows. With an act of faux disappointed, Lucien pointed his blade at the dragon as he said, "what, no tail drop? Come on, I was looking forward to a new weapon." Letting out a roar at the blue haired man, the dragon charged a dark firaga in its mouth. The dark firaga ball shot at Lucien, who just sort of countered it by throwing a strike raided keyblade at mach speeds at it. They collided, sending the keyblade lord knows where and the ball just exploding into a black flaming cloud that dissipated into the air.

With a side glance, Lucien saw a battered and bruised Jackie getting back onto her feet. "Yo, glad to see you're still up and kicking." With a confused face, she waved to him, and walked towards him as he continued to explain,"now while I could totally kill this thing myself, if you would be so kind as to help out in the endeavor then that'd make this just way better. You and the light gal that is."

With a bit of a worried look on her face, she then pointed away and said, "but what about Blanc? Shouldn't we go help him not be dead first?"

Waving the comment away, he said, "don't worry. He's not dead. Just in horrible pain, on fire, and out cold. But not dead, so he's fine." As he said this, Jackie still seemed to be a bit worried, but shook it off regardless. As she did, from far away one could see a figure flying in and moving straight towards the dragon. With that sort of a cue, Lucien looked towards Jackie and said,"so, you know how the only way you've been relevant this entire time has been by people throwing you at the dragon?" She nodded. "How would you feel if we kept true to that tradition?" She shrugged. "Good choice." As the dragon roared, it clenched its fist and punched forward at him. Grabbing Jackie's arm, Lucien flung her straight above the dragon, as he clenched his own fist and went to go clash fists. With the two of them hitting dead on, the ground seemed to break underneath him from the sheer force of the two colliding.

While they were evenly matched in strength, the only person to turn the tides of this fight at this point was soaring through the air. Without much control over where she was actually going, Jackie could only hope as she took on a brown glow and struck at the the dragon as she flew over the dragon head. However, the sword managed to only slide through the skin, and Jackie still flew completely past him. Well, this could be going better. While she was most definitely going to hit the ground now, she was suddenly caught out of the air by the blonde haired knight of light. "Whoa! Thanks for the save." After a short pause she looked back to her and said, "so who are you again, I kind of don't remember you at all."

"I seem to have that kind of presence." After flatly stating that, Charlotte flew Jackie and her back to the top of the dragon. After throwing Jackie straight to the head of the beast, the two of them took their blades and just started stabbing at the dragon's head as it started to roar in pain. Meanwhile, Lucien was still in a power struggle with the dragon as he took his other hand and clenched into another fist as punched with it as well, repelling the dragon's fist from him. Summoning up his keyblade, the dragon seemed to go to punch at him again. As the fist came towards him, he simply threw the keyblade at the hand of the dragon, and jumped over it.

The blade ended up cutting threw the claw, splitting off some of the fingers of it, and Lucien summoned the keyblade back to his hand as he landed on the wrist, swinging the keyblade down on it and severing the claw of the dragon from the rest of its arm. All the while, it was still getting stabbed in the head, and was trying to violently to shake the two females off. When they had finally been flung from the head, Charlotte managed to catch Jackie and the two were safe in the air. While the dragon tried to swing at them, it realized that both of its arms were unusable and its tail was gone. As such, it simply let out a bestial roar as dark flames started to form in its mouth. Knowing that this was going to be a big attack, Charlotte had to get away from it, though was slightly impeded in her movement with Jackie in tow.

Still standing on the dragon's arm, Lucien sighed as he realized that he'd have to stop the problem as well, and called out to the girls."Yo, after I save your asses, get ready to go in for a big finale." With that, Lucien started to grab onto the dragon's torso, digging his fingers into it and breaking through the scales. Once he had done that, he started to continually reach upward and start to pull himself up by effectively scaling the dragon like a rock climbing course. As he had gotten right underneath the jaw, it had seemed like the Dark Mega Flare the dragon had prepared was nearly complete, and so Lucien launched himself upward off of the dragon, and gave one hard punch with all the force he could muster, thus shutting the mouth and causing the attack to explode in the mouth of the dragon.

As this had happened, he flew backward onto the ground from the force of the explosion, and the dragon let out a cry of pain as dark flames started to spew out of its mouth, going nowhere. "Alright blondie," Jackie stated to Charllotte, "launch me!" Nodding, Charlotte flung Jackie into the air, as Charlotte had charged her blade with rainbow light, sending out a large wave of energy that cut straight to the dragon, exploding on impact and causing the bottom half of the dragon's jaw to fall off. As Jackie was falling towards the dragon, she knew that she had to do something really flashy for the ending. A regular critical impact attack wouldn't cut it here. As she had to started to think on it, she suddenly started to glow and white and purple color as her sword seemed to be encased in a bladed light, twice the length the sword previous was. Not really questioning this, Jackie chopped down on the dragon's neck, decapitating it, and landing hard on the ground with a bit of an, "ow" let out.

With the head falling to the ground, it dissipated into darkness, as the rest of the body fell, fading as it did so. With that, the dragon had been completely dead, and pretty much nothing was accomplished anyway. Giving a thumbs up to her, Lucien said, "good work team. Now then, we can go watch this shit storm of a heroic awakening without the looming threat of a mega flare to kill us. Though I got something to take care of first." With that, Lucien left Jackie slightly confused at the statement as he walked to a different part of the battlefield.

After doing his full blown combo, Stratos felt absolutely exhausted and wasn't quite sure what he'd do if his foe wasn't defeated. Taking a deep breath, Stratos stood up as he looked behind him to see that Rienzel had been beaten. Feeling a bit proud of himself, Stratos realized that there were still others that needed to be defeated in order for the hero to not be released. All he'd need to do is rest up a bit first and then he'd be good to go and fight agai- suddenly all the wind was knocked out of him as a foot kicked into his torso, sending him flying through the air and knocking him unconscious. Dusting off his hands, Lucien said, "and now I've taken care of everything I needed to do."

It had worked. As Lexcifur plunged the key into the final lock, the magic binding him away fell apart. By the keys he'd created, he'd been sealed away. By the keys that he'd created, he was free. As the seal binding him broke, a wave of power blew back the onlookers. The locks on the chains shattered one by one. Standing, The hero walked out of the shadows, into the which washed over his face.

"Stop them all, you say? Since you released me, I'll grant your wish. Just don't regret asking for it." Xindai said to Lexcifur with a slight chuckle. Now that there was nothing sealing away his powers, his mind flooded over that of everyones present like a flood. Objects would stand in its way, but would be powerless to stand against the rushing tide. It swept up everything in its wake, leaving nothing untaken. The Dark Creator begun to walk out of the cave. So, even several of those who had been trying to free him meant to kill him. This would be interesting.

Ghost was cornered, with a number counting down to his death and an extremely powerful enemy. Though, his attention was immediately torn away from them by an overwhelmingly dark presence. He'd felt it before, on that day three hundred years ago when what was to be the final war had come to its climax. He knew how dangerous this man was, but even his presence back then hadn't been as powerful as it was now, in this very moment. He was the hero they sought. He'd tricked them all, and it had worked. He was free. He didn't have time to worry about the two before him. He didn't have time to worry about the doom count. All that mattered was that Xindai was taken out. Melding into the shadows, Ghost was gone.

The confrontation was over in less than two seconds. Ghost emerged from the shadows behind Xindai. He had to end this with a single strike. "Tsubame Gaeshi!" He performed the technique of his creation, and performed four simultaneous strikes, each coming from a different direction. Xindai didn't seem surprised by his appearance. In fact, he was still. He didn't move an inch. Ghost's breath left him at the following events. His sword from all four directions was stopped by an invisible force, knocked back and away from him as he was lifted into the air. The first to go was his shoulders. The joints connecting his arms to the rest of him were twisted upside down inside him. Second, his ribcage. Each of the bones shook within him before crushing towards one another. Finally, his neck. The fragile bone simply crumbled under the sheer pressure of the telekinesis. Ghost was tossed aside like a ragdoll. Defeated by a man who hadn't so much as blink to do it.

Zavion barely had time to turn his head before Ghost was defeated. Lexcifur...That damned idiot. How could he be so careless and stupid?! He was using the power of Chaos, but to see the legendary assassin put down like he was nothing like that...Just who was the hero? If he could supposedly rival his mother, then there was no way they could defeat him. Seeing that display...He could almost believe it. A cold sweat ran down his face as Xindai's gazed turned onto him. His eyes seemed like they were staring far deeper than his skin. What's more...There was an empty space where his heart should have been. Even nobodies had remnants of the hearts that were there, but him....There was just an unsettling emptiness. He could see nothing about him, while he could hide nothing. He could feel his mind being clawed at and dug up relentlessly. Xindai gave off a slight glow, and vanished. The next thing he knew, he was right in front of him, taking advantage of his distraction.

Leaping back as quickly as he could, Zavion fired beams of pure energy at Xindai, though he evaded them one after another. He knew exactly where they were going to strike before his eyes even caught sight of them. He knew it because Zavion knew. He could have done it with his eyes closed. He was using Zavion's eyes to see regardless. Calling forth a massive burst of power, black flames encircled the ground around the son of the goddess. "Shinryu duality!" Two massive pitch black dragons formed from the embers, encircling their master. They charged forward, attempting to incinerate Xindai. He extended a palm to each side and grabbed the burning dragons by their faces when closed in on him. Zavion's eyes widened. "Law of Origin: Reprisal of the Inferno." A darkness unlike anything Zavion had ever seen flooded from his palms. The beasts howled as they were overcome. They were made of the same substance. Darkness against Darkness, but for all his power, he may as well have been trying to fight the flames of hell by rubbing two sticks together. His darkness twisted backwards through the dragons, spiraling through their bodies and overcoming Zavion's darkness, conquering it, and using it through its sheer inability to resist. It didn't take long for it to reach their source. The spiral on the ground erupted in a burst of flames that scorched every fiber of his being. He let out an ear piercing scream as the fire tore away at his body and heart.

Beuce ran to Ghost's side while Xindai was shreking Zavion. "Come on. You can't go back to your old habits of dying every ten seconds." He reached down, and the ground began to glow with a bright light, channeled through his arm. "Salvation!" The powerful healing magic worked its way through Ghost's body. Mending broken bones, restoring lost blood, stitching torn skin. Looking at the number counting down above his head, Beuce removed something from his bottomless pocket. A small greyish colored sash. He tossed it on the ground next to the assassin. "Keep it. It removes debuffs. If you can QSS a zed ult, you can QSS doom."

Sapphire jumped awake as Xindai was released. A nightmare, but it wasn't one at all, this time it was a vision, her powers giving her warning of what had just happened. Sapphire shuttered as she used her powers to survey the situation in time to see Ghosts demise. "No... I am so sorry Ghost." She shuttered knowing there was nothing she could do about it. "Glen. He has been released." Sapphire told him although she knew that he knew already due to the temporary power she had granted him. She then watched as Zavion tried to stand up and fight him. "Zavion. Take your sister and run. You can't fight that. Trust me, not in the shape you guys are in, get out of there please." Sapphire begged her son through telepathic powers, but it was too late for that. Tears stung Sapphires eyes as fear gripped her heart. "R... What do I do?" She asked.
Freya was still sitting on the ground watching in horror as Xindai killed Ghost while there was nothing she could do about it. She was so helpless. Then his attention was turned towards them... no just Zavion, just the real threat. Freya searched for more power, the power that could save her brother from this horrible man, but came up empty. She had used up too much already. "That can't be the end up my power! It Can't!" Freya said with a bit of anger as she watched helplessly, listening to her brothers screams. "No... Ghost.... Zavion.... I am so sorry. Please don't go. Don't leave me!" Freya cried out while tears streamed down her cheeks. "I am the daughter of a goddess, and I couldn't even stop this. I am so useless. Why does mom have to be bound to Riel and not me. Why can't I take moms place. Why can't she roam the world and truly save people when I can't." Freya was not asking anyone really, simply talking out loud, hating herself for everything.

"Look, over there." A voice whispered in Freya's mind, her mothers voice, warm and comforting, yet Freya could hear the fear laced in it despite Sapphires best efforts to hide it. Freya did as she was told and looked up towards Ghost in time to see Beuce save him, bring him back.

"I can't do that mom... I can't save Zavion. I am out of power, I am a pitiful demi-goddess." Freya replied to her mother as her attention was turned back to Zavion. He was gone, there was no saving him now.

"Then use mine. Freya we are connected, look deep inside for this connection and borrow some of my power. Save him. Save everyone. You can't fight Xindai but you can get them out." Sapphire encourage. Freya obeyed, searching for the connection, for another source of power that she was connected to, her mothers. Her mothers blood flowed through her veins and thus they shared a strong bond allowing her to reach some of her mothers strength. Not all, but enough to save Zavion.

"Hold on Zavion." Freya said as she found the power, pulling it up through her. A blast of light came from Freya that was able to extinguish the flames. Following that came a high level of cure, one that she had never been able to use before and she doubted anyone would know. It would be more than enough to save Zavion's life, but again left Freya more than drained. She had used all the power her mother was able to give her.

"My heart... Zavion help me get to Lexcifur. My heart, my shield.. he could use it. He could save us. He could use it to protect everyone. My shield is strong enough." Freya told Zavion, her voice was weak once again and she seemed very tired. There was not much more that she could do besides offer her heart. "I can't save everyone myself. I wish I could." She told him as well, a fact she was sure Zavion already knew.

Meanwhile back on Riel, in the cave in the center of the world Sapphire was sitting once more. She was feeling the effects of the power Freya had used, as she had borrowed perhaps a little too much. However that being said Zavion should be safe, now she just had to trust him to get them out of there, all of them. "You did good Freya..." Sapphire comforted her daughter before looking up at Glen. "We need Excalibur. " That was all she told him, she knew that Glen would need no further instruction.

Alisia watched in fear and awe as the Hero was released. He came and killed the man they were fighting before turning to another person who was against them. The hero would truly help them. He would create a perfect world, one the goddess couldn't achieve. "Stay back." She told Audrey softly as she stood up and started nervously approaching Dane. She didn't have the guts to talk to Xindai but perhaps Dane could. Perhaps Dane would get him to help them fight against the goddess.

Alisia walked up beside Dane and surveyed the damage he had done in his battle before speaking.
"Please, get him to join us. With his help we can defeat the goddess." She said. She had always hoped when the hero was released that he would save her from Dane. But Alisia feared the hero as well and couldn't bring herself to ask him to, and after what Dane had told her about his life she felt a little bad for him. Perhaps she could escape without him getting killed. Perhaps he would have a change of heart after they defeated the goddess.. perhaps.... Everything was just perhaps.
The person who released the Hero was one of the last people that Xander would have expected to do it. However he couldn't complain, after all it is what they came here for, release the hero. The boy could pay the price for his own stupidity among his friends, but he had just completed the task that they were out to stop from happening. Part of Xander wondered why that was, but he shook it off. Xander stood in the distance watching with calm collected, cool attitude as Xindai killed two people. When that was over he took long, careful strides towards Xindai. When reaching him Xander pulled down his hood, revealing his face.

"Now that we have released you, I ask but one request of you, then I will follow you to whatever end." Xander started before looking at Alisia. "Her, free her from Danes grasp. Return her to me. She is only a child that he broke and used to his own gain. Just save her and in return I will do whatever you ask of me." Xander requested as he planted his sword in the ground and bent down one one knee to show his submission to the hero. If this was what it took, he would do it.
"So this is it right? We completed our task. What now?" Gwen asked as she turned to Hunter. She was only there to get the task complete and now that it was there wasn't much left for her. However there was one good side about the entire situation, and that being during this adventure she had got Hunter. That being said with it over she doubted that they would go and live a comfy life somewhere and start a family. There was pretty much no chance of that. So what were they to do next? Was there another task for them to do or what? She didn't know so she looked to the oh so wise Hunter for advice.

As Glen was watching everything unfolding, he had a sudden realization. Juliet had been with Caleb, and Caleb had mentioned her, and yet she was nowhere to be seen in the battle. Why wasn't she there? If she were truly on the side of the rebellion, she wouldn't miss a fight like that at all. Something had happened to her, he was sure of it.

However, all worry for Juliet had been stomped out as Xero had been beaten. It took every ounce of his willpower to not demand Sapphire send him there and then, to not rush to her side, but he managed to suppress it. As Glen saw Lexcifur rushing towards the cave, he had tensed up. Of all things that could have possibly happened, it was his son that was about to release the hero? As Lexcifur did near the cave, though, a memory surfaced in Glen's mind. A string of memories, rather. He remembered who was in that cave and what he had done. Memories of pain, of suffering, of deceit all surged through his mind.

    "Glen. He has been released."

The keyblade wielder's attention was brought back to the fight at hand. Xindai had indeed been released. This wasn't good, this was not good at all. Sapphire then asked R what she should do. It was a fair enough question, and one that Glen himself wasn't sure of the answer to. He supposed there was only one thing they could do, really. "We stop him, that's what we do. We did it once, we can do it again. This time though, he's not going to just get locked away" he stated. "This time, he's not going to survive" he growled, his voice a tone of extreme seriousness.

And then Sapphire mentioned Excalibur and them needing it. Told Glen that, actually. Of course, he'd forgotten about Excalibur already with everything going on. She'd said something about her being unable to wield it due to the darkness inside of herself, which meant that Glen himself couldn't wield it. To wield it, someone of pure heart would have to wield it. Who could do that? Glen couldn't think of a single person he knew himself that fit that. "Kara would've been able to. Aside from her I can't think of anyone that could wield it" he said, though the pain in his voice was evident. It'd been over three hundred years since she had died, but the pain of loss was as fresh as if she had died merely the day before.

"I'll find someone. There has to be someone that can use the blade. If I have to, I'll do it myself even if it kills me, but I doubt it'll come to that" Glen said. He held out his hand and went to open a dark corridor, but found that he was unable to do so. That was strange. He put it down to Sapphire's power being in him temporarily. She had the power of Kingdom Hearts itself, working with darkness wasn't exactly something that seemed do-able. He'd have to manage without for a while. He turned and began walking out of the room. As he got to the doorway, he froze. Sapphire was by no means a friend of his, but she had been once. "Sapph, be careful. You're the goddess and one of the people responsible for his being locked away, so he'll be after revenge. He had a hold over you once, just as he did me. If he gets into your head, we're all done for. No matter what, don't let that happen. If you need me, reach out and I'll be there" he said simply before leaving. Maybe a part of him wanted to be friends with her, but that part was buried deep under years of agony and pain, and would not surface easily. He was merely offering her advice because of her importance as the goddess, he told himself.

Audrey had been completely prepared to do battle with Ghost, but she was glad she didn't have to. She hadn't the energy to handle him, and even if she did she doubted she would hold out very long. Her mother and father hadn't allowed her to fight much; they were always very paranoid about her. Ghost had left and gone to attack the hero that had been released, and had failed horribly. Zavion, too, had attacked him, but like Ghost he had not succeeded. Audrey didn't want to see people hurt, but it was what had had to happen. If the hero died, so did any chance of stopping the goddess and any chance of restoring the worlds to what her parents had described. When Alisia had told the girl to stay back, Audrey had obliged. Turning to look at her father, she knelt down beside him and held her hands above his chest. The youngster wasn't very good with most magic, but her healing skills were average and certainly good enough to at least get her father conscious. Tapping into her magical reserves, she began healing Caleb, hoping things didn't get worse before he was up.

After everything that had unfolded, things were finally back on track. Good guys getting the crap kicked out of them, the evil dick was released from his prison, and hey look his little slave friend had even asked for his help. "Oh yeah, he'll be able to beat the goddess alright. Her and everybody else" Dane replied to Alisia. He knew who the hero was, he had known since he'd entered the cave before. Watching Gexln had had its advantages, such as seeing everything Xindai had done 300 years ago. But hey, so long as Dane slept with one eye open he'd be fine around him. "Tell you what. Because you didn't pass out this time, I'll go and talk to the guy" he stated.

Walking away from Alisia, the shadow reaper approached Xindai. Xander was next to him swearing allegiance like a dumbass, but that was a problem for later. There was a slightly bigger issue. And by slightly, I mean oh my god he was so screwed. Xindai could see into peoples' minds, meaning he would know very well that Dane wanted him and just about everyone else there dead and he was by no means an ally. On top of that, Dane had murdered the other Dain. He would do it again in a heartbeat if he could, but it didn't help him out there. "Hello mister hero, did you have a nice slumber? Things have gone to hell since you began your little nap, and we need a goddess slain. Think you're up to the task?" he questioned. He didn't ask the other question, but he was sure as hell thinking it and Xindai would know it. The all important, unspoken question.

"You want me dead, I want you dead, but the goddess is a thing. So, who dies first; me, or her?"

"Now we watch the absolute shitstorm that is about to happen when those two begin conversation. After that, I guess we go do the rp a favour and murder Sapphire, then we go and take out the remaining bad guys and everyone gets a happy ending. Hey, I've got an idea that screws with absolutely none of that" Hunter stated. Ginger was totally his woman now, meaning he had to impress her and do all kinds of things to look more awesome than he already did, and wasn't that just a big ask. He pulled out a tiny pouch of munny and gave it to Gwen. "Fifty munny says I can attack the hero and live" Hunter said, making the most extreme bet the rp had ever seen. Taking a few steps back, Hunter then broke into a dash and leaped right at Xindai, fist raised as he threatened to punch him in the mouth. If this worked he would have tales written about him; the man who struck down a god in a single punch. If it didn't, he died the most brave man to ever exist. Brave, or foolish. Yeeeeeah, he was going to go with brave.

The torrential darkness that erupted from the last lock being broken made Samsara stumbled a bit, but she used her keyblade to keep herself from being completely blown away. Looking up, she stared at the Hero and felt a smile spread across her face. Staying on one knee, she bowed her head at Xindai as he passed. Samsara stood up shortly after and sent her keyblade away. Her right hand was still clawed and seeping darkness. She hadn't been too worried with returning it to it's original form, seeing as the current events were far more important, so she left it as is for now.

Samsara stood back as Xindai dealt with any attackers. "Hero." she said, hoping to get his attention. "I don't believe you've introduced yourself. If you have, I forgot." Samsara bowed her head again. "My name is Samsara. I'll do anything to assist you. Especially after you so graciously gave me a taste of raw darkness."

Samsara was deep in darkness, she may as well align herself with the one who was clearly winning.

Of course, while she was standing, she looked over and saw a complete idiot rush towards Xindai. Sighing, Samsara melted into the ground and appeared in front of Hunter. She raised her right hand up and held his punch. "What are you doing?" she asked. His punch hurt her hand, but she wasn't going to tell him that. She just hoped he didn't try anything else, honestly.

Ana walked cautiously down the shadowy corridor, feeling the way with her toes. She was only mildly tired, her energy reserves holding steady as she pushed forward.

Glen. The name of the person she was supposed to find. The person she had to help. Trepidation slowly crept
It's way through her body, as it always did when she was sent on a new mission.

She had hoped, after this last, that she would be able to work on her weapon skills. Her dagger was sorely needed, but without it, she had been forced to resort to beads. Beads.

Well, someone had to be the first, and she was most definitely the first to use them that particular way. No matter, it was in the past.

The end of the corridor was in sight, and Ana's pace quickened. The sooner she got this over with, the sooner she could go home and better herself. Sapphire wouldn't send her on a mission she couldn't handle, right?

She pushed through the door, and dropped to the ground, landing on one knee in order to prevent herself from falling on her face. If would have known what she dropped into, she would have stayed in that corridor.

Admittedly Xross was getting bored just waiting around for the locks on the hero to be broken, but there wasn't much room for him to complain since he had little to no...actually he had zero intention on speeding up the process. He was just a bystander and they were the performers. Entertaining them with their actions, some more than others. It wasn't the place of a audience member to interrupt the performers during their show. Thus it was only right for him to wait for things to progress once more.

That was when a ray of light had pierced the veil of boredom. When yet another person Xross had paid very little attention to had run into the cave and unlocked the last seal. A few notable things happened when he hero was freed. First the nagging feeling that something was in his head vanished and was replaced with a pretty clear feeling that something was snooping around. It was an odd feeling, but Xross simple ignored it. Next was that he was able to see the hero's face and immediately after he understood that sense of familiarity he was feeling earlier. Oh this was indeed laughable, the star of the show had just arrived and brought a twist along with him.

Xross could've tried to tell them truth about the 'hero', but where was the fun in that plus they wouldn't believe in the first place. So he kept this information to himself as he walked out the cave. "I'm going to assume it didn't occur to you to grab her and run during the fighting, some protector you are." Xross started. He hadn't poked fun at Xander's failure for some time and something about this moment just seemed like a good opportunity to do so. "A so called protector having to resort to asking others to him help right in front of the guy who caused it. Man you really are bad at your job. That's probably why she just stands still after casting that spell of hers."

Getting knocked out. If that was on his bucket list then Zephyr would be able to cross it off now. His consciousness had returned and well shit went down while he was out. He slowly got back on his feet as he looked around to get an idea of just what had happened. So first off Zavion looked pretty beat up despite Freya healing him. Next came the ninja that was on the goddess's side. Now he really looked fucked up and it appeared that Beuce was healing him.

Lastly there was someone new on the battlefield, another white hair guy was standing. Was that the hero that was sealed? Going purely off of the chains on his arms, it seemed possible. With that in mind, it became a bit more clearer just what went on while he was out. The so called hero had basically rekt'd the first two people who attempted to face him. Talk about solid motivation to not fight someone. That being the case, just what exactly was he suppose to do now?
    • Due to there being no one that Moksha was willing to have him fight, Avi basically hid throughout the entire after. Unfortunately he did witness everything that the hero did so he had even more reason now to not come out of his hiding place. So yeah.

    • With the death of the dragon, it had seemed that everything started happening at once now. The last of the wielders of the keyblade needed had done just what the hero wanted, and unlocked the final seal on his age old prison. With it came a force of unimaginable darkness that seemed to be overwhelmingly imposing on just about everyone else. A white haired man, who seemed to have an odd sort of air about him, and one that was familiar to some, distressing to others, and sanctified to the last few. With a slightly indifferent look on his face, Lucien just sort of stood there as he saw what this so called hero was able to do when there were those who tried to oppose him, knowing full well just what kinds of bullshit they'd be met with. While this counter attack from the white haired man wasn't exactly grounds to call someone evil, something about him seemed very off and unsettling to Charlotte, and as such, the grip around her blade tightened as she seemed as though she wished to suddenly be one of those that had existed solely to kill the hero. Making sure this didn't get anymore out of hand, though, Lucien had simply delivered a swift chop to the side of the neck, knocking her out and making sure she couldn't do anything irrevocably stupid.

Jackie, meanwhile, seemed to be overall pretty positive about everything that was going on. Yes sir-ree, she had been across multiple worlds, fought numerous creatures (like a magical dark pony,) and it had all come together to a nice ending in which the hero was released and the universe was saved...probably. Jackie actually had no idea why these people were searching for this hero, but hey, they had found him so that meant everything was going to be fine. Looking at Lucien, she saw him knocking out the blonde haired girl as, though took no note of it as that just seemed to be the kind of person he was. "So," she said, "adventures over now, right?"

Shaking his head, Lucien answered,"sadly not. You see, if things were to end in a nice little wrapped up package right now, then there wouldn't be anymore unnecessary and needless drama in the world. And you know what, the universe seems to love that shit." Scratching his head, he then followed up with,"besides, this little poorly written journey has barely just begun at this point, so don't have the credits roll in your head just yet." Jackie seemed a bit confused by this, but given who she was talking to, she put it at something that was par for the course really.

    • As he had ended up getting ready to entertain himself in a fight with the legendary assassin of the shadows, it had seemed that it was not meant to be. With a stray keyblade wielder making their way into the cavern, the hero was released, and thus anything he did now, completely meaningless. Standing down and letting Ghost do whatever he pleased at this point, Rinox just stood by as he saw just who this hero was. Raising an eyebrow, with a slight chuckle, Rinox had come to the realization of just what this all was. He had always figured that this whole hero business wasn't quite like it had appeared, but this was just a tad bit unexpected. He then looked and saw that another familiar face was here in this graveyard. Well, this was looking to be quite the little reunion in this desolate land of death. "My my, what do we have here," Rinox had said, completely ignoring the fact that Hunter was attacking "The Hero" as it was obvious as to how it was going to end. "To think that we had all lived through these years is a tad remarkable, but I suppose forgoing aging isn't entirely as hard to attain as it used to be. Nevertheless," looking to the white haired wielders of darkness, "it's a pleasure to see you again, Xross and India."

"You *****, what the **** do you think you're doing?" Hunter exclaimed as Samsara stopped his punch. "What does it look like I'm trying to do? I'm going to test the hero's strength. If he's as legendary as things say, he shouldn't have a problem stopping a single hit" the man said as he lowered his fist. He then gave a slight smirk and patted Samsara on the head gently. "But it's okay, you were an adequate meatshield and nobody can ever take that away from you" Hunter stated, before slugging another strike right at Xindai's torso.

Just after Glen had left the building, he had stopped. If he couldn't open a dark corridor, how was he to travel around? Sure, he could use his keyblade and simply glide there, but if he found the wielder of excalibur and they didn't have a keyblade of their own or some other form of transport, it'd only delay them even more while the keyslinger turned around to go and find some. This was a pretty big issue. On top of that, he didn't actually know many people on Riel. He'd lived there a long time, but had spent most of it isolated from civilization, only really venturing in there to take Xero there.

So how was he to find some kind of transport? Maybe some kind of gummi ship would work. Just as he had that thought, he heard the doors open. Whirring around, he saw a girl who looked as though she had only just managed to actually stay standing. Well, if he was going to have to meet the locals, he may as well start there. "Hey, I'm on a pretty urgent mission from the goddess herself and am in need of some transport. Do you know a way I can get some?" he asked politely.

The goddess? Ana blinked, getting to her feet and brushing off her knees. Transport?

"I know of some ways, but I'm not sure how to conjur them." She glanced behind her, wondering if the dark corridor had yet to close. Perhaps they could still use it to get where they needed to go.

Wait, they? Why in the name of all that was good was she going with? She turned back to the man, flicking her hair over her shoulder. "There may be a dark corridor still available. But first may I ask your name? I too am looking for someone."

"I'm not looking for someone" Glen replied quickly. "Well, I am, I'm just not quite sure who yet" he added, correcting himself. He stared at the girl for a moment. What was the harm in telling her a name? It had been about three hundred and fifty years since he'd used his name, surely nobody around would know him by it so there was no real danger. "My name's Glen, not that it really matters" the man said, before allowing that to sink in for a little bit. After a minute or so, he decided to explain the situation. If he failed, they were screwed and it didn't matter if she knew anyway, and if he succeeded because of this random girl then he could deal with disclosing information later. However, he was in no hurry to give specifics. Enough information to get what he needed, that's all he would give. "Look, I don't have much time to talk. If I fail this mission, the goddess could very well die. If you have a way of transport, I need to use it. If not, then I'll look elsewhere" he responded, a slight tone of annoyance in his voice.

Glen. She let the name sink in, allowing a smile to cross her lips. She had found him, nearly right away. This was going to be a piece of cake.

Ignoring the annoyance in his voice, because all men were impatient, she smoothed the front of her clothes. "I believe I have a way to help you."

Out of her pocket and into her hands appeared a set of keys. "I haven't flown it in quite a while. But it should still work." If this man knew what was good for him, he wouldn't allow her to drive it.

There was a good reason she hadn't used it in quite a while. She tossed the keys towards him before turning around and trying to get a sense of direction, not bothering to see if he caught them.

"Where's the loading docks?" She asked.

It was strange that there was now a ship available. If it had been available from the get go, why had she not mentioned it first? Urgent mission from the goddess sounded like enough of an emergency to warrant the use of a ship. Perhaps there was another reason....but what? And then it hit him. Pushing past Ana, he began heading in the direction of the loading docks. "Over here. I'll drive, by the way. Wouldn't want someone crashing their own ship and killing the only hope the worlds have left, would we?" Glen asked, a slight smirk appearing on his face as he did so. He'd always wanted to fly a ship, and to be honest he had no idea how, but how hard could it be?

Ana tossed her hair and followed him, trying to ignore his words. There was no way he could have known....and even if he did, he couldn't prove it.
She could only hope his skills were superior to hers.

A small pit of apprehension began to grow in her stomach as they approached the gummi ship. The last time she had been in the small craft, it had nearly ended in her decaptitation. The craft had been repaired, but the scars remained on her soul, staining it with fear.

She dearly hoped she wouldn't be forced to use her healing magic before they had a chance to rest, or Glen would be forced to carry her to wherever his mission was.

She had to wonder how important it really was. He seemed capable, but she had been sent as back up. What did that mean for her future?

Nothing. She decided, squaring her shoulders. First was surviving the flight to their mission. Their. It had a nice ring to it.

Turns out, flying wasn't as easy as Glen had thought. He'd hopped into the pilot's seat as Ana had hopped into the thing aswell, but he had then sat completely still for a minute as he examined all of the buttons. He couldn't press all of them because that would be a bad idea, but if he didn't experiment how was he supposed to know what they actually did? If he didn't know what they did, he'd never be able to fly. There was only one thing he could do, and that was improvise!

Frantically, he pushed buttons. Everything from cup holders to rapidly flashing lights began activating all at once only to deactivate seconds later, while Glen's hands were practically a blur. He stopped when one of the buttons caused a disco ball to descend from the ceiling and slow, sensual music began to play. Turning to look at Ana, there was a very judgemental look on his face. "I'm not even going to ask why you have that" he said simply, before turning back to the buttons. After about another ten minutes of Glen flipping switches and causing strange functions to activate (one of which actually made a TV with an old western movie playing descend from the ceiling), he finally made progress and the ship whirred into life. Taking hold of the controls, Glen pushed forward and it went up and began flying away towards their destination. He was a literal piloting god to have figured it out without crashing.

While Glen thought he had done it, it was really Sapphire getting sick of it and levitating the ship up into the air to ensure they didn't crash and burn.

"I'm not even going to ask why you have that." she heard the disdain in his voice, and ignored it. So what if she had a shiny, circular object that would pop out of her ceiling with the push of a button? It had seemed like a decent upgrade to add at the time. And she had some good times with that disco ball. Well, it was a mood setter anyway. She bit her lip and refrained from telling him exactly what buttons he should press in order to start up the machine. He had insulted her disco ball after all.

She was semi surprised that they actually began to rise in the air, and turned to stare out the window. From his behavior, she had quickly figured out that he was no more a pilot then she was. If they were going to die, she wanted to be able to see it coming. That way, she could throw a few curses Sapphire's way before descending into whatever afterlife there was. And she would be damned if she was going to let the jerk sitting beside her get away with living. If she was going to die, she would take him down with her, mission or not.

Who the hell did he think he was, insulting her disco ball?
