Aden had done a great job at removing Luna from the wretched skeleton's clutches. With a hidden grin, D'daear moved on to reduce the leftover skeletons that still remained on the field. A horizontal swing cleaved through a fragile skeleton, dismembering it to pieces. Good footwork was key in any fight, and the young lad sure followed through with his attacks. Pivoting on his left heel, he twirled to the left while closing the distance between himself and another boney fiend. Once more the keyblade was swung with power built through momentum and shattered the second skeleton to pieces. The blade remained straight and parallel to the ground as D'daear stood with right arm extended outward with keyblade in hand. Dotted eyes looked on to the other skeletons that were fumbling to escape. Brows remained furrowed, just as they had been when he saw Luna in danger. He could feel something well up inside him, like something that was compelling him to move forward. Instinct kicked in with no thought being processed as every muscle and sinew merely guided the boy forward toward the enemy. Right foot kicked off the dirt floor, launching D'daear toward a skeleton; with another practically hugging the other. He swung the keyblade overhead and slammed it down on a skeleton vertically which discombobulated the critter, and immediately after followed it up with a horizontal strike to the right on the skeleton only 2 feet away from the other. However he was not done yet. Three more skeletons were trying to be sly on their approach towards the boy, and yet the purple haired lad saw them coming before they even had a chance to react. Left foot remained stationary as he turned around 180 degrees, planting right foot diagonally across the left foot. Falling to a forward stance, 2 more swings were delivered by D'daear as he cleaved through all three of them. The first smashed straight throw one of them vertically, and the next penetrated the other with a mighty horizontal hit; which initially required him to stomp his right foot on the ground in order for the hit to have been successful.

A small breath of air escaped the boy as eyes closed themselves shut, and body relaxed itself with a job well done.

The remaining skeletons chittered nervously amongst themselves with the realization that they were the final eight remaining of their original hundred, D'daear having just cleared six more of them out. The reality wasn't pleasant for them.

But Aden couldn't be happier. It almost felt like they'd been here in the memory fighting the skeletons for weeks, and victory was within sight!

    (...Memory...)

"Hang on," Aden wondered aloud. "If this is a memory of Mickey's...then where is he in all of this?"

Rather than answer him, a skeleton jumped onto Aden's back, having snuck up while he wasn't paying attention. Aden stumbled forward, then started flailing to try to loosen the skeleton. Its bony fingers scrabbled at his hands, trying to take or force Aden to drop his Keyblade. Clearly it didn't understand how they worked. But still, that was really annoying. Aden just let his Keyblade dissipate into light; the skeleton's hand stopped in confusion, and Aden took opportunity of the distraction, just as the skeleton had taken advantage of his. He twisted his wrist out of the skeleton's grip, grabbing its wrist instead, and charged backwards, slamming his back into a tombstone. The skeleton was crushed on impact, leaving Aden with a stray arm. Another skeleton ran towards him, and Aden slapped its skull clean off with the extra limb. "Thanks for the hand," he told the pile of crushed bone behind him before tossing the arm onto it.

    Two down, six to go.

The group of skeletons glanced at each other, then nodded. As one, they rushed towards Aden. He summoned his Keyblade once more, and stabbed it into the air, prepared for the attack. "Gravi--"

A rock hit Aden's head, cutting him off. Thoroughly annoyed now, he called, "Now that's fighting dirty!"

Okay, so the Gravity trick wouldn't work this time. Chances were that they wouldn't let him use Thunder, either. The skeletons were converging on him now. He scrabbled desperately at the ground, through the dead grass and leaves, the tiny pieces of twigs.

The skeletons all lunged at him at once. Immediately Aden ducked and rolled, allowing their momentum to cause them to collide, then jumped up outside of the pile-up. He pointed his Keyblade at the place he'd just stood, in the middle of the skeletons, and shouted "Fire!"

Flames blossomed from the lit pile of dead foliage, immediately consuming another two of the skeletons, and badly charring the rest. The remaining skeletons did not seem pleased with Aden. "It's almost as if they resent being retaliated against," Aden muttered.

The three skeletons ran at him. As they got close, Aden called, "Aero!" and was surrounded by a shield of wind. one skeleton was blown apart upon contact with the air shield, while the other two hung back. Given the spell's protection, Aden took advantage of his untouchable status and simply picked off the two skeletons using Fire attacks.

The shield died down, and Aden surveyed the graveyard. "...I think that's all of them!" he told the group, relieved. He looked over where he'd just fought, counting piles of bone (and ash). "One, two, three, four, five, six, seven..."

    ...Where'd the eighth go?

He looked around again, confused, before his eyes zeroed in on a figure in the distance running away--the final skeleton. "Hey!" he shouted. "Come back here!" He started after it, but found himself falling against a tombstone, worn out. "Ugh..."

Jonting abount his clanking legs, the final skeleton ran like a little child, running from the teacher. It's fingers clenched, and pressed away from his chest, while he took large, horizontal steps in order to avoid them all. It was the last one standing and could be cornered wherever it went. Things were made even more difficult when he noticed he could no longer summon anymore allies. He knocked relentlessly against the ground to see if any of the undead were still napping, but alas, all his friends lay torn asunder around the graveyard battlefield.

Hikaru appeared from behind the undead creature, as he menacingly hovered down with Dumbo, staying just a few feet off the ground. He gave two whistles in quick succession, as the skeleton's head perked up and did a full 180 to see Hikaru's eyes squinted like an old western film. It's head still facing, the skeleton's body slowly rose and turned to match the head's direction as it's bones shuttered from lack of anymore options. It looked left to right, as it shivered in place.

Hikaru grabbed Dumbo's trunk and cocked it once more before he pointed it, directly at the skeleton's neck region. "That's enough outta the peanut gallery." A quick, but mighty peanut powered buckshot flew from Dumbo's trunk and knocked the skeleton's head flying backwards into a nearby tombstone. The body, still conscious, had it's hands feeling above it's neck to register that it's head was no longer attached. Walking blind, it turned around with it's arms in front of it to try and guide it's way across the cemetery to find it. However it didn't get very far, as it walked right into the deep grave opposite it's head.

With the final skeleton defeated, Dumbo gave off a glowing twinkle before disappearing; signaling the battle had ended.

Hikaru, now back to normal size, scratched the back of his head having regrouped with the others. They all faced the war zone and sighed with their battle now over.
"Guess Mickey wasn't here... Any suggestion on the next window to open?"
As their backs were turned however, a familiar mouse snuck off through the door without anyone being the wiser...

Aden frowned at Hikaru as he continued to lean on the tombstone. "Just...give us a moment to catch our breaths..." he requested, breathing heavily now that the adrenaline in his body was wearing off. He stopped to smile and flash everyone a thumbs-up. "We did pretty well, didn't we?"

He looked off into the distance in thought. "It doesn't make sense, though... How can this be one of Mickey's memories...if he isn't here anywhere?" The thought bothered him, and likely would continue to do so without a reasonable explanation.

A heavy sigh escaped D'daear's lips as eye lids covered eyes while he placed a hand on hip. The fight between them and the skeletons had left him tired as well; primarily his fight with the large skeleton. So he had to agree with Aden as a moment to breathe was seriously needed. Eyes revealed themselves when Aden mentioned their performance. A light grin revealed itself as D'daear let himself be amazed at the progress they had all come to. Aden, Hikaru, and Luna had all done amazing work. Hikaru with his mighty beam of light, Luna's fortitude in the face of danger, and Aden's plethora of magic was evident to D'daear. Cailyn and Rain he did not know too well, so he couldn't really tell whether they had always been that good or not, but nevertheless they too did an amazing job as well. Cailyn was brave and never stopped fighting for her teammates, and Rain showed she could be relied on when push came to shove. Any doubt this purple haired youth had towards those two were definitely washed away and replaced with trust, and hopefully a bond of friendship. He let out a quick puff of air through nostrils as he let eyes stare away at the grass beneath them. Aside from them, he too had to admit he had improved a bit. It was not so long ago he had joined this band of keyblade wielding crusaders. It was not so long ago he had appeared next to Base on that bench in that world, naive and ignorant on how the worlds worked with the inability to summon the keyblade at will. Now look at him, able to defend himself when he needed to, and able to stand up to whatever threat stood in his way. Beast's castle and Central Haven... Perhaps it was because of what had happened in such a short time that had forced D'daear to push himself past his limits...to have to toughen up in order to survive.

Left hand raised itself as he unconsciously began to stare away at the palm of his hand. He was still mad at his grandmother, and everything that had unfolded because of...corrupted information. His mind was still not sure of what was going on, or whether he should trust his grandmother regardless of the facts that were against everything he had been told. Everything just felt so out of focus, like what was supposed to Be was not, and what was not IS. Everything he had experienced up till now felt so surreal.

Black dot for eyes focused in on the metal device strapped to his forearm. He still had no clue what this thing was or if it had any other purpose other than to decorate over his forearm band accessory. Letting the hand fall to his side, D'daear shook his head with a deep sigh. It was pointless to think of these things for the moment. However badly he wanted answers, he was just too tired. That, and the anger he had once felt which fueled his desire dwell on such thoughts seemed to have been quelled for the moment. He had this entire Dance to the Death to thank for that. Thinking on the battle now, he had really blown off some steam. A small chuckle escaped him, pitying how easily swayed with emotion he can be at times.

Attention was drawn to Aden as he had queried about the memory they were currently in.

A small shrug was revealed to Aden. "Memory or not, it's like Hikaru said: Mickey isn't here. We should get a move on...before these pile of bones decide to reanimate themselves..." he replied to Aden. Turning to Hikaru, "Let's check out the one with the fire... I saw how you used Dumbo before, Hikaru. I'm sure you can play firefighter while we watch." he jested in comradery, a friendly smile visible on D'daear.

After having his short comment on Beuce's appearance, he had immediately gone back to just slaying heartless as was per the norm. Walking around towards the heartless, there was a tornado step that started to spin around, before launching itself as Stratos. The boy quickly pointed his keyblade at the oncoming heartless, generating a small fire ball from the tip of it, before launching a fira spell directed towards the thing. The tornado step collided mid air with the fire ball, causing both to explode on contact and the heartless to ultimately be killed. These heartless didn't seem to be too big a challenge, and so when another one of the heartless had charged at him, he pointed his keyblade out once more in order to destroy it with another fira spell. However, he realized something terrible had happened, something that he had completely neglected and stopped paying attention to. That being that he was completely out of MP. With the tornado step spinning in and attacking him without any form of defense to stop him, Stratos was sent back a bit and skidded across the dirt ground. When the tornado step went in to try and attack him once more, Stratos simply blocked the strike and struck back with his keyblade, knocking the heartless away. With that over and done with, he went in and followed up with a few more strikes, until suddenly he realized that he was able to do full combos as opposed to before.

It was at that point that Stratos realized that the power he had obtained momentarily sort of just vanished and he was back to his normal. That was a bit disappointing, but at the same time it allowed him to do something that he wasn't permitted to do during the T-Rex fight. However, before he could do anything about that, he looked over to see that Glen had balls to the walls in this fight. He went charging in full force at the heartless and was striking the big guy down, and securing the piece they were looking for. It seemed easy enough, until the heartless seemed to dog pile on him, like moths attracted to a flame. If the moths were the manifestation of the darkness in people's hearts and the flame was a shiny musical note. The situation seemed to alleviate itself as Kaida came in and started to strike through the heartless...and carry Glen out of there with raw brute strength. Well, that was certainly a sight to behold. Stratos then realized that someone needed to step in, as she too was now getting ganged up. Thankfully, he had just the move to clear the distance he needed, and take on the heartless at the same time.

With cherry blossoms falling to accompany the already forest like setting, both the heartless and Kaida seemed to slow down until it was as if time was practically stopped. Taking a deep breath, Stratos analyzed each heartless carefully. The points at which this attack would hit them seemed to appear before him. Where as he didn't have the brute strength to destroy the heartless with this technique, he did know just a little more about it. In an instant, Stratos had cleared the distance between the heartless and him, all of the heartless seemingly having a slash mark going across a part of their body. As time resumed at its normal pace, the heartless had been felled in a single blow by the power of Zantetsuken. With that over and done with, Stratos turned to everyone and said, "good job team, that's three pieces down. Now I guess we just to wait for where to search for the next three."

Standing still, Ananta held the necklace in her hand. Looking down at it, she noticed one of the beads had fallen off somewhere. Tilting her head, she shrugged and looked back up. She was about to talk to Kross when she saw he had hurried off ahead. Running after him, she yelled. "Kross, come back! What's wrong?!" Ananta kept running, tripping over in the process. The necklace fell out of her hand and landed in the dirt softly. Getting to her feet, she dusted herself off and picked the necklace back up. She kept walking after Kross, holding the necklace in her hand. She finally caught up to him, but didn't talk at first. She didn't know what to say, honestly. What could she say? It was obvious that he was hurt from what happened earlier. But how was she to know? Ananta was confused and not sure if she should talk at all. As they approached their destination, she turned her head to him.

Her hand reached over and grabbed his. She then squeezed it in reassurance, moving to walk behind him. She took the necklace and loomed it over his head, taking the string and tying it around his neck. "There. This is for you, the foreign island boy who's totally awesome and handsome and dreamy and foreign." she chuckled, looking at the necklace on him. "It's missing a bead, but I think I can fix it with another one later...if that's okay with you." she said, scratching her head.

Raisor continued walking with everyone else, wondering what they were going to do after they found the princess. Maybe they could find out who took her in the first place, and whether or not the kidnappers did it on their own or were hired. In his experience, that was usually how kidnappings worked, in the simplest of ways. If the princess' kidnapping was orchestrated by someone else, they would need to find out who did so, otherwise they might try again. If it was just one person or a group on their own, they just needed to teach them a lesson and make sure they don't try again. It was definitely something that needed consideration, but first they needed the to get the princess before anything else.

Aden scowled. The "Hikaru said Mickey isn't here, so Mickey isn't here" argument didn't satisfy him in the slightest. All the memories were Mickey's, so he was supposed to be in each of them somewhere, and yet they weren't going to try to find him in this one, especially since they were looking for the mouse?

D'daear did have a point about the skeletons, however. "Let it be known that I don't agree with not trying to find Mickey in here," he grumbled. "But I don't like the idea of being around for the skeletons to reform, either."

D'daear's comment about firefighters (Aden wasn't familiar with the term, but he could infer its meaning) reminded him that the fire he'd started to get rid of the last of the skeletons was still burning itself out and making a lot of smoke from the materials he'd made it with. He'd actually completely forgotten about it with the final skeleton and the relief of the fight being over. "...Anybody know any water magic?"

The group had been silent for most of the duration of the walk, some more silent than others were. Hopefully they were getting close to wherever the princess was being held at. Assuming that that was were they were headed to in the first place.

She firmly planted the blade on the ground before giving out a huge sigh after noticing the skeletons have been wiped out cleaned by the others. "To think all of this for a mouse, Oy the little guy better start giving us clues especially after a fight like this" her eyes searched the area again but nothing out of the ordinary came into view. It was just the undead being dead again.

    "...Anybody know any water magic?"

"Um well...not exactly but..." Rain reached down to grab a bit of soil and running it through her fingers. "Dirt or maybe some earth magic can be an alternate solution, I mean it does the trick to cut out the oxygen for the fire"

Water and Magic were both good suggestions, but Hikaru held off on thinking about any strategy as the window to the next movie was by the window they entered through. "Looks like we won't have to..." He pointed over to the pull string window that was similar to that of the Mad Doctor memory they watched previously. Looks like all we have to do is watch this one again."

The group had reached the tower, just across a rickety bridge. Below the bride, lay a shallow waterfall, as the tower itself was surrounded by the farm-like setting of dead trees, soil, cows, and a windmill. They knew she had been dragged here due to the royal carriage that sat parked outside. The bad guys in question who took her were definitely positive that no one would look for the princess there. Nevertheless, they found it, and Mickey rushed to the Tower entrance to tug and pull at the gate. His efforts, sadly led to no avail.

"HNG!!! It won't budge! Must be locked or something... If only we had the KEY!" Mickey thought aloud.
"Welp, no key here. we tried," Donald pointed out, dismissing the thought of fighting the assailants who took the princess.
"Not so fast Donald... Maybe Goofy can think of something. Waddya say Goof? Any bright ideas?"
Goofy pondered for a moment as he looked to the door, and the plains that surrounded them. "Hmm... we need to get in, but got no key... and pullin' on it sure didn't help... So..." Goofy's eyes squinted as he continued to scan for a solution. He stopped at the sight of the wielder's keyblade. Then went back to the door. Then to the keyblade. Then back to the door.
"Ahyuck! It's so simple!" Goofy exclaimed as the lightbulb in his head lit up.
"I-it is?" Mickey asked in amazement. "You sure?"
"Sure am!" Goofy marched proudly forward, around the keybladers and pointed both his hands towards a stone carved sign that read "PUSH."
    "OOOoh," Donald and Mickey nodded.
"Hehe, whoops. Lucky for us they forgot to lock it!" Mickey said, pushing the door opened.
"Yeah! Because if they did, we'd be locked out for sure!"
"Yup! No key or nuthin'! Sure were lucky this time." Goofy followed his two friends inside before looking back to the wielders. "You fellers comin'?"

"Way to go everyone!" If you look past the Glen, those dark creatures are headed towards the coliseum where the dancers are! If you protect them, you'll find the next piece. I just know it!"
Instead of transporting them back, Mickey gave them a new objective in the same world. Since the horde of heartless were continuing, they were able to get a second music note by protecting more dancing creatures.

When they had arrived at the tower, Kel figured that this was probably were the princess was at. No it wasn't because someone had answer his question, not the fact that the carriage was parked right outside of the tower. He figured it out because of how cliché it was. Princess and towers were a two for one deal at times. Next thing that had occurred was Donald, Goofy and Micky trying to unlocked a lock door. After that, and mentioning the word 'key', enough times they managed to push the door opened. "Those kidnappers must not be the brightest of people." Kel said, following behind Goofy.

The voice seemingly came out of nowhere telling them to look past the Glen. Still recovering from the hit to the head, Kaida put Glen on the ground right in front of her and then looked over his shoulder and saw the coliseum Mickey spoke of, “Oh hey, it is just past the Glen.” Kaida gave Glen a quick pat on the shoulder before she ran off ahead into the coliseum.

The very first thing she encountered was a bird, a bird that walked. Kaida never recalled seeing such a bird before up close but then remembered from a book of birds she read one time that it was an ostrich. Now, Kaida wasn’t an expert in the area of birds but she wasn’t sure if ballet was exactly a normal sort of behavior. She followed the ostrich as it danced around with other ostriches, eating fruit, batting their eyes at each other, just a bunch of random activities.

She followed the line of birds until they got up to a water fountain, and then suddenly, and without warning, a… creature… popped out of the fountain. Kaida was fairly certain she had never encountered such an animal before and she did not know the name of it. At first, the animal began to get ready for the day almost like a human… eating grapes and using a powder puff to freshen up (though Kaida never really understood the usefulness of powder puffs) then after it was done, the creature put on a tutu and Kaida watched it do ballet just like the ostriches. When the lot of them began to dance, Kaida backed off; worried that the tall creatures would somehow land on her and crush her, even though she was pretty sure they were seemingly harmless.

It may have been because Kaida had been here a while, but she had eventually phased out the music, but with the ballet she couldn’t help but notice the way they kept time with the music. It made Kaida sway a little but she was doing her best to try and pay attention to the area to see if any heartless appeared.

The next thing that appeared however were not heartless, but crocodiles. Kaida definitely knew what a crocodile was at least. There was one reptile with a single feather, going after the one hippo that appeared from the fountain, and the rest of the crocodiles were in black and red capes. At first, Kaida had her hand out ready to summon her keyblade to attack them but then she realized, despite their creepy approaches, they were supposed to be there.

That was when things that didn’t seem to belong began to stick out.

Among the creatures, she noticed one was completely off tempo to the music, and squinting because it was dark, she noticed the black and purple creature with a red tutu as opposed to a pink one. It lunged to attack one of the other creatures and Kaida bolted towards it was fast. She summoned out her keyblade as she ran and performed a sliding dash when she reached the stand out creature.

It toppled over, almost on top of her angrily, and let out a roar. The creatures near Kaida backed up and away to the beat of the music and Kaida’s eyes widened at the creature. She let out a yell as the slashed the creature multiple times with the keyblade before it disappeared into the dark.

Kaida kept an eye out and looked around and realized the dark might make it just that much harder to find the real creatures vs the heartless. This was going to be great!

With Post hast, Goofy carried on past, the rest of them as fast as he could to try and reach the princess in time. With revved up legs, he dashed around the spiral staircase like a rocket.
    "Don't worry yer Majesty! We're a comin'!"
Mickey blinked in disbelief at how fast he took off.
Donald looked back at Mickey. "Can we do that?..."
"I dunno Donald... but let's just hurry! the princess needs us. All of us!"

Meanwhile... on the 87th floor of the tower...

The Beagle Boys were slowly trying to climb the last few floors of the hundred foot tower when the tallest one stopped to pose a question.
"Oy! What we gonna do if them Musketeers show up again?"
"They's eighty-seven floors up!| The middle one mentioned. "It'll be hours before theys on us."
Widening his eyes at the sound fo gasping voices, he turned to find Mickey, Donald and Goofy having rushed up the stairs, and were now out of breath. The Keybladers that followed too, were out of breath from the long distance traveled in such a short time. "Stop (pant_ Right (pant) There (pant) You thieves!" Mickey warned.

"Sling that bird in her cage!" He ordered the tallest, as they were prepared to fight. The tallest followed his orders and threw Princess Minnie into a princess sized bird cage that hung from the top of the tower." Now let's have a bit of fun with these blighters, eh?"
Though they outnumbered the villains, the Princess's cage did not lock very stable and could break at any moment. "Goofy, we have to rescue the princess! Any bright ideas?"
"Just one!" Gooyf whispered back. He allowed the croup to corner them to the highest point in the tower and backed against tower's two parallel windows. "Hot soup!" Goofy charged passed them and crashed through the window, leaving the beagle boys in confusion. "Well that was a bit of a barney, wasn't it?" one mentioned. The three of them looked out the window to find Goofy being todsed all over the land like a virtual pinball machine, before we was launched back up the tower, knocking the beagle boys out the other window and into the river.
A very confusing and odd way to get rid of them, but all that was left to do now was rescue the princess and return to the castle!

    Meanwhile in the river...

"Boss ain't gonna like this!" The tallest pointed out.
"Oy! Plan can still go off with a hitch! We just need to separate em, see?"
"How do we do that?" the shortest question.
"Simple,. When the Princess is at the Opera, them musketeers will be on guard duty all night. So we just gotta wait for em all to split up and take em out one by one."
"Hehe, yeah.. It's a big castle. Accidents happen..."

After a very unique way of getting rid of the three goons from the tower by Goofy, the group then proceeded to carefully rescues the princess from the bird cage. Once she was free, she gave her thanks as any princess would which meant that they could now leave the tower with the princess in tow. Their first mission as Musketeers and they didn't fail it. Huzzah! Now that was left was the long walk back. A long walk that would start with walking back down the stairs. Which Kel went ahead and started walking down.

Given that they just went into a tower, caught up with some guys in dark hoods and masks 87 floors up in only a few minutes, Goofy jumping out a window and appearing again knocking the guys out of the tower, Raisor figured there was no possible way for any rescue to go as strangely as this one did. In fact, at this point, Raisor could safely say it was indeed the strangest rescue he's ever taken part in. The good news was that they found the princess...the bad news was they now needed to go back down one hundred floors and still walk back to the castle.
He look down the large, spiraling staircase, "You guys think it'd be fine to just jump down to the bottom instead of walking? I really don't feel like walking all that way again."

As the heartless had been dealt with in the Glen, everything seemed to be all hunky doory. That was, until they started to charge forward through the rest of the world and continue their assault elsewhere. Man that was annoying. Mickey then directed them elsewhere, telling them that the next piece for them to find was likely with the rest of the heartless. Well it was like killing two birds with one stone in this case. With all that said and done, the group started to go on their way leaving behind the Glen, but not Glen himself, as they went onward towards the next mission area. He had to run a bit in order to keep up with everyone, as everyone, especially Kaida was so much faster than him. Like damn son, the girl could pass for an olympic track runner, whatever the adjective "olympic" meant. Continuing onward, they had eventually come to the next mission area, that being a large coliseum. Looking around at the scenery, he caught his breath and then gave out an impressed sounding whistle, slowly losing his breath he just caught. Sure it was just a large building, but the size and and actual architectural vibe he got from it made it seem pretty impressive.

It was then that some birds had just sort of galloped out, eating grapes and doing dances, until the next kind of animals had come out to take their place. What this animal was could only be described as horror incarnate. They were large, pudgy animals that had tough looking, wrinkly, brown skin. This was skin that looked like it would take a rocket launcher in order for them to even take a bit of damage...whatever that was. The monstrous creatures were garbed in frilly pink ring doughnut shaped rings of death...and dance. Which was just what these gigantically mawed and barely toothed creatures of the swampy void did. Prancing about, they were frolicking every which way, strutting their stuff and doing the fancy foot work. They even managed to spin so much that they contorted their bodies into themselves before spinning back out. That was just kind of weird. It was at this point that Stratos noticed the sudden shift in background music, that had been different since he actually got to the large building, and saw these demon beasts were grooving in tune to the rhythm of this jam.

However, he then noticed Kaida had launched herself at one of them and started striking at one of them were her keyblade. Wondering why she was doing this, once defeated the creature had exploded into darkness and Stratos realized why she did that. Giving a thumbs to her, he said, "good observation there Kaida." He looked, trying to see if there was any more of these creatures that were heartless in disguise. As it were, he found the dissonance to the harmony of their dance, and saw one of these creatures dancing off tempo, and it had a darker color scheme to it altogether. The heartless then jumped into the air, expanding its jaw to irregular, even off of these things standards, size. Knowing that he couldn't quite bolt there like Kaida could, he let the cherry blossoms fall around him, until he had managed to Zantetsuken towards the heartless. Knowing that he couldn't slice through it in one shot, he stopped short, and used the momentum generated to ram straight into the heartless. The colliding in the air, Stratos had managed to knock it away from its prey, with Stratos himself landing on hard on the ground. When he picked himself up, he had lost track of the heartless he was fighting, and started to go observe some more. This was going to be quite the dance in the dark.

Finally they got the piece. Everything was fine, they could get out of this damn area and not have to deal with the stupidity of the heartless anymore. Or that is what Karina thought to be true, but Mickey started to talk to them through the magic that they had entered. Apparently they couldn't leave yet. "Oh for the love of all things good." Karina complained not too happy with the situation. First they where fighting walking plants and now hippos where dancing? Did mickey give them some sort of drug? That was it! That is why she felt bad about almost drowning Glen and came to a human conclusion that showed she had a soul. Damn why did she ever trust a mouse about anything? Especially a magical talking mouse, that made you beat up brooms when it CLEARLY wasn't working.

With teeth gritting she looked on at the hippo's that weren't even doing it right! They where so off beat and the wrong colour. What the hell! Karina needed to let off some steam and what better way to do it than on the heartless that couldn't even disguise themselves properly. Have they ever used blend before? They should act the part properly! Karina rushed forward, stopped, let cherry peddles fall around her then off she went on her super quick attack. Stopping from that she threw her keyblade in a strike raid at another. One by one they disappeared into dark smoke with pink hearts floating out of them. If they where really hippos things would be far more gruesome. These where even more dumb heartless or she was having more hallucinations.

While they were walking down the steps, Raisor had questioned if just jumping all the way down would be a good idea. The idea may have been suggested out of laziness, but it was a valid idea. Least for them anyway. Kel didn't have any doubts that any of them could jump all the way from here to the ground without any injuries. However the exact opposite could be said about Mickey, Donald and Goofy and even more so for the Princess. "Jumping down probably isn't the best of ideas. At least not while we're escorting the princess."
