As Stratos was keeping himself up in the large pond of water, he noticed something. Something that seemed pretty off. While the dancing water lilies were certainly strange, that wasn't entirely what was what felt off. Their dance seemed to be taking them further and further away from where they had started. Despite that, Stratos was easily keeping pace with them. It was when his foot collided with a rock in the water, causing him to fall over back into the water that he noticed just what was going on. He brought his head up, as the water lilies had just sort of been leaping over his head like some kind of hurdle, that he started to hear the sound of rushing water on the horizon. Wait a second, this wasn't a pond. It was a river, and he had been unknowingly been being pulled by a current straight towards a waterfall.

Trying to break free from the current and swim in another direction, he was becoming rather unsuccessful as he continued tumbled through the water. Strangely enough his tumbles were in perfect tempo as well. Towards the end of the waterfall, Stratos could see all of the dancing, spinning water lilies take their fall off of it as he himself came to the end of the line and fell off the water's edge. However, while he was now in free fall, some glowing thing caught his eye. He wasn't entirely sure if it was what he was searching for, but he was sure as hell praying that something that convinient would happen. Extending out his hand, he got the spell fragment fragment and with it, was transported out of the world.

Coming out of the book and landing in the water that was in the room they were originally in, Stratos muttered something about being waterlogged by the end of this mission. He then looked up and basically caught the last sentence of what Karina had declared, to Mickey he assumed, and could only really regain his footing. Walking over he gave her a light pat on the back and with a smile on his face said, "good to see you've finally got a good resolve going for you." While he wasn't entirely sure of the reasoning behind it, it could only be a step above proclaiming how worthless she was. With a small chuckle he said, "took you long enough to find it." He then went to go sit down and wait for the others...until realizing he had sat down in the pool that was the room. Son of a bi-

She held up an arm out to shield her eyes from the light that was emitted from the window. There was silence at first but as the light faded into darkness, it slowly progressed into having more profound sounds. The howl of a wolf from afar is what made her open her eyes. To Rain, any sound that an animal would make is what will alert her that things have gotten serious. Though the place did have an eerie feel to it no doubt. "Whoa . . . Talk about jumping into a nightmare." She said as her eyes gazed from the floor to the sky.

One thing was for sure though, the wind was going to get on her nerves. Her long blue hair was already going crazy on her face as the winds came from behind and then randomly from the sides no matter which way she turned to face. " Oy , there goes my decent hairstyle. But no matter" Rain took a few quick glances around to see if any enemies had popped out yet. Seeing as how the coast was clear she started on doing a braid. "Some keyblade wielder I am. Everyone else seems to be focused on things while I'm here doing this. Get it together Rain . . ." She tossed her hair back hoping that it would do the trick on holding it together. "Better, alright so where were we..." Rains voice trailed off at the sight of the skeletons dancing their way into view from the darkness. She wasn't exactly sure to be creeped out or to be amused by them. But just as they randomly appeared, they started to attack.

"Hey! You got some kinda bone to pick or something!"

"Was that supposed to be a pun?"

    "That pun was ghastly, Hikaru,"

As she summoned her keyblade, Rain couldn't help but to laugh at what they were saying. "Hehe, some one had to say it." More and more of these dancing skeletons started to approach the group. It wasn't long till there was enough to surround them. Rain figured that in order to increase her chances of not missing, she'll have to dance with them. "Dancing with death at its finest. Who's first?" At the draw of her keyblade she got the attention of three skeletons who were swaying their way towards her holding a different piece of bone from themselves. The first two continued on moving while the third spun around to throw a skull at her. The other two then proceeded to do the same. Rain swung her keyblade like a bat at the first skull which caused it to hurl back at its thrower right in the ribcage. She then jumped over the other two coming towards her and managed to strike down one of them as she landed. "It's one on one now skully" she was starting to get the hang on mimicking their dancing and enjoying it as well.

Kross only held his arms behind his back as he walked. He wasn't angry with any of his allies by any means but they had been treating him like he was stupid from the moment they had even arrived here, stomping on his idea and telling him that the 'plot had to continue' What were they even doing? small amounts of anger boiled inside of him and he found himself clenching his fists. He sighed and slowly dropped his arms to his sides. He hung his head and just watched as his feet dragged him forward. 'Adults are stupid..' He thought to himself. His thoughts were interrupted by someone who came over and asked him what was wrong, It was Kel, he recognized that voice anyway, they did help each other at one time. He turned his head to the side."Chipper as ever."He answered. He had good reason to turn his head because just as he did so, he saw several dark portals manifest around him. He grimaced and glared sharply, freaking knew it..They shouldn't have stalled so much. He could hear the screams in the distance and he glanced up, seeing the carriage being raided by three figures."Queen Minnie!" He shouted and ran forward, only to be stopped by a group of Soldiers. He slid to a stop and watched them surround him. He ground his teeth and summoned his keyblade, brandishing it and taking his stance."Bring it.." He said in a dangerous growl.

Two leaped at him and he sprung to action, bending at the knees and leaped into the air. He started pointing his keyblade up and twirled in mid air. His body started sparking yellow and golden colored lightning rained down from the sky, crashing into the heartless and caused the earth to briefly rumble under the power of the spell. The two heartless convulsed from the spell being used on them and swelled up, popping into the darkness whence they came. That will teach them not to mess with keyblade wielders.

Luna watched as Hikaru pulled down the cord that was attached to the skull window. She felt the wind blow through the group strongly. "What in the-?" Luna covered her face by crossing her arms in front of her face. She closed her eyes as the wind continued to blow. Once the wind died down a bit, she relaxed her arms back to her side and opened her eyes. "Where in the world are we?" Luna looked around her new surroundings.
"Hey! You got some kinda bone to pick or something!"
Luna turned toward Hikaru as she saw a horde of skeletons walk our way. "Are you kidding me?! Greaaaat..." Luna sulked for a brief moment before preparing for battle. She grabbed her crescent barrette and waved her hand over it as she had done before. She scrolled through her songs and clicked on Real Emotion. She placed it back in her hair and heard the music in her ears as it played. Luna materialized her keyblade and pointed toward the skeletons. "You wanna dance? Then let's dance!"
Luna ran toward a group of four skeletons. She jumped and landed in the middle of the group. She slashed down a skeleton and turned toward the rest as one started rushing toward her. Luna jumped over it and spun midair to take it down in one graceful swoop. The remaining two rushed toward her as Luna stood there for a moment. The two skeletons were in close proximity as Luna rushed toward them as well. A barrier started forming around her and slashed through the two skeletons along with the barrier.

Steel noticed Kross (and most of the others) had taken his comment in a rather harmful manner when it was meant to be a most humorous joke. Seeing no way to fix that at the moment, being busy fixing another problem, he turned and was about to answer Ananta when disaster struck. "Curse my inconsistent posting rate!" He muttered under his breath. He summoned his keyblade and attacked the nearest heartless: A lance soldier. He stabbed his claws into it's chest as it charged at him, using the momentum it had built to bring it around and stab it's lance into another one that had been coming from behind. The second one had died from the lances blow, and a third was coming to charge him from behind. He held up the first one's body up as a shield and got rid of that one as well. The remaining lance soldier went to stab at him again, but it's lance chose a poor time to disagree with it. Steel stared for a few moments at the Lance soldier and it's frantic attempts to jump up and grab its' unruly weapon before slicing it in two with his keyblade. Steel turned to Ananta opting to continue their conversation, but saw she was quite distracted with her own battle. Plus, it seemed half the party was angry at him... again... for a misunderstanding... again. Steel sighed as he turned back to pummeling heartless. "Sometimes I hate my life." He spat under his breath.

While the scene had indeed changed, and the lighting was darker, it was by no means any less lively. The music was still just as upbeat. This time, the fairies which came out were white as snow. Speaking of, it seemed these were representations of winter. As they touched the plants, frost spread out along it. After making their way along a few plants, they came to a large lake. Man, those girls took ice skating to a whole new level. What they were skating on wasn't actually ice. Well, it wasn't prior to them getting to it anyway. They skated along it and frost arched out from their paths. They danced along the lake, perfectly in sync with each other, creating some rather interesting patterns.

Next, snowflakes began to fall from the sky. And man, these were some big ass snowflakes. Like, these fairies just used them as freaking skirts. I mean, granted they probably weren't very big themselves, but compared to leaves they were just about the same size. So, if these snowflakes were roughly the same size as leaves, then Christ they were big snowflakes. Big enough for a shrunken keyblade wielder to ride on! Leaping off, Beuce mounted one of the snowflakes as it made its descent from the sky. "Wheeeee!" He yelled out as it fell. The women around him stared and giggled at his playful nature. Man, this world was awesome! 10/10 would portal again. Then, all at once, a musical conductor showed up out of nowhere and concluded the symphony. "Wait what?" The piece appeared in his hand and he was spewed out of the book. "aw...." He said, understandably disappointed to leave.

He hadn't been out of the book for more than a few seconds when he saw mickey working some kind of divine miracle and making Karina an actual person with feelings and stuff. Beuce was frozen in shock, unable to speak. What the hell exactly was this mouse?

Glen followed the fairy along, curious as to its motives, until finally it came to a stop at a dark flower. The fairy touched it and sprinkled what seemed to be sparkling, golden dust around the edges, and suddenly the flower lit up. It was certainly different, and it was impressive to be sure, but it didn't get him any closer until finding out more about Yen Sid, or finding the piece that Mickey had asked for. "Hey, where can I find-" he started, before the fairy flew away. He stood there for a moment, not sure of what to do, before another fairy flew away from the initial circle. Following that one, he kept close behind it and watched as it continued flying towards a flower and did..the exact same thing!

Glen chased after the fairies as they continued lighting up flowers, running past what he could only assume to be a large puddle (although it looked like a lake to him) several times before he finally came to a stop, too tired to continue chasing. He looked up now, and it appeared he had finally been given a break; the fairies were flying above him and seemed to have no intention of leaving, spreading their sparkly dust crap all over the place. "Finally! Hey, do you know where-" he started, only to notice the fairies didn't seem to even acknowledge his existence. "Yeah yeah, that's very beautiful and all, but where-" he began once more, before the fairies ceased their lighting and stopped completely. Why had they stopped? He was still wondering this when one of the fairies flew down to him. So, they did know he was there!

Before he could ask about Yen Sid, the fairy waved her hands and a blinding explosion of golden sparkles appeared, causing Glen to shield his eyes instinctively. When the dust had cleared, he was standing back in the flooded room, covered in the same sparkles he had seen and apparently holding onto something. Looking down, he realized that what he was holding looked different to anything else he'd seen. It looked almost like a musical piece...which was exactly what he'd needed. Well, fairies were absolute assholes apparently, simply giving him that object as if to say "You're too annoying, take your piece and get the hell out of here", just like everybody else seemed to think about him!

Letting out a groan, he fumbled around in his inventory and brought out the bottle of alcohol he'd taken from Corona, and he was about to take a drink before the scene before him finally sank in. Karina had developed a soul. His jaw dropped open in shock, and he turned to see that Beuce had reacted almost the same way. They'd both had their concept of reality shaken by the fact that Karina...actually gave a crap. He took a quick drink of the alcohol, before holding the bottle out to Beuce. "Lets get wasted and forget that Karina was ever like this. My mind can't handle this right now" he said, giving the best advice ever.

While Kel dealt with the heartless that were around him, the others wasted no time in dealing with the rest of the heartless. It wasn't all that long before the number of heartless that they were fighting had thin significantly. Now however was not the time to be concerned about that for another group of soldier heartless had decided to surround Kel. Nine solders had decided to surround him this time, all moving in what was probably the only way they knew how to. Kel could feel that he didn't have very much MP left to spare so he was going to ave to do this the old fashion way. Not fisticuff, he still had his keyblade able to use. So while they were moving about, he tossed his keyblade at them and they fortunately had gotten aligned in a straight line so that the keyblade had passed through two of them going out and on the trip back, it went through another two. Why could he be that lucky in other situations was a mystery to him.

His keyblade was back in his hand and now he was faced with five solders left to defeat. One of which was just sitting around looking quite confused. That one could be dealt with later. As for the other ones, they needed to be dealt with now. So the grip on his weapon tighten as he ran forward towards the heartless, hacking and slashing his way through them until he was left with the one that had been sitting around while Kel had took care of its comrades. The blue haired wielder walked up to the heartless and conked it on the head with his keyblade, causing the heartless to see stars in a cartoon fashion, which was indeed something to see.

Five Skeleton's began to circle Hikaru, dancing around him as if he were a bonfire or ancient idol of some sort, swaying their long boney legs along to the beat of their fellow skeleton's musical styling. As He didn't have full 360 vision, this made him more susceptible to attacks from the back. In order to prevent most of the damage, he summoned his keyblade and put it in front of him to display a true and proper guard. Following their rhythm, he remained stationary as he turned his body along with them so he was no cut off guard. Two of the skeleton's leapt forward at him, only to be parried by his block, but his guard didn't catch the third attacker who got him from the rear. "Ack!" he grunted out as the blunt bones hit his body. He turned quickly and slashed away at the skeleton, who jumped back before being hit.

As soon as he made the movement, they returned to their roundabout technique, attacking in whichever direction he wasn't guarding in. This made things especially difficult since he didn't have much of an attack pattern to take out large mobs of enemies. He was more the defensive and an occasion; magical offensive. His health felt low and instead of casting a quick cure on himself, he got agitated and spun his blade around. "That's enough!" Pointing his keyblade high into the sky, the magical weapon began to glow a white hue as he called out; "Faith!"

Four pillars of light crashed down on the circling skeletons, causing them to break apart upon impact. Hikaru's eyes remained shut until he heard the cracking and eventual dissolving of the skeleton bones from the undead monsters that were messing around with him. As he opened his eyes to behold what was left of them, he was greeted with charred remains and bone fragments surrounding him. His magic ability was greatly improved since the last time he fought against enemies, and Yen Sid's final gift to them was quite the powerful spell indeed. He still felt grief over losing one of their most powerful allies though. Eraqus, Yen Sid, and members of the order were all taken down. He feared for the safety of Kaida and the rest of the group he fought with.

Turning to see where else he could help, he stopped a skeleton dead in it's tracks as it was tippy toeing it's way to attack him before he turned around. The skeleton than focused it's attention on the charred remains of his skeleton brethren before looking back up to the keyblade wielder with an open jaw and unmoving eye sockets. Hikaru responded back with unamused squinting eyes causing the undead skeleton to back up slowly. Hikaru shook his head and pulled back his keyblade as he followed the skeleton step for step. The skeleton eventually bolted off, causing Hikaru to give chase.

The Keybladers were cutting through the skeleton army with ease, and Aden feared the spooky scary skeletons less and less with each defeat. Some of the others were even joining in their dance as they fought. Aden himself wasn't really a dancer, but he felt himself moving to the flow and rhythm of the unheard music.

Suddenly, a skeleton dashed in front of Aden...but didn't pause to give him a second's notice. He blinked, confused at its unwillingness to attack him, until another form hurtled past--Hikaru. And then it was clear what was going on; if Aden had been a skeleton, he'd probably run away rather than face Hikaru in combat as well.

But Aden was not a skeleton, and Hikaru was a comrade, and the skeleton was a nuisance.

Aden grinned wickedly, pointed his Keyblade at the fleeing skeleton, and bellowed "Gravity!"

The skeleton in question--as well as those around it--were flung skyward. The first skeleton even kept running in place in the air for a moment, its legs wheeling comically before realizing its predicament. It clapped its hands to its cheeks in what seemed like horror, but Aden payed it no heed. He thrust his Keyblade into the air once more and called, "Thunder!"

Bolts of lightning rained down on four of the airborne skeletons. It only destroyed two of them, irritatingly, but it did seem to seriously damage the remaining two, at least. The first skeleton seemed to be trying to swim through the air away from Aden, so Aden put an end to that quickly by throwing his Keyblade at the skeleton, knocking it into pieces. Rather than chase after the Keyblade, he simply summoned it back to his hand.

    WHAM!

One of the other skeletons had managed to swim through the air to a nearby tree, grab onto a branch, and use it to propel itself towards Aden, slamming into his chest. Aden wheezed, stumbling back and doubling over. Annoyed, he stood back up, pointed his Keyblade squarely at the floating skeleton, and fired a Blizzard at it. Encased in ice, the skeleton fell to the ground and shattered.

Aden turned to Hikaru. "This is going surprisingly well, don't you think?"

The shadow Kaida stared at broke, and immediately was broken by a beautiful, golden fish. It swam with much elegance and beauty, and the background music suited it. The fish's color subtly changed to more of a white but nonetheless it continued its swim. Kaida followed that particular fish because she couldn't see anymore around.

The fish seemed to have sparkles following it rather than bubbles, and based on its appearance she just made the assumption the fish was a she. Why? She didn't know, but it seemed female. She didn't know why that felt wrong, her thinking a fish looked female. She kept twirling around and around and it began to make Kaida dizzy, then bubbles formed and floated upwards towards something glowing that Kaida couldn't make out, so she swam towards it.

Upon getting to it, she realized it was the piece she was looking for. When she got hold of it, the portal reappeared and she swam through it.

When Kaida re-entered the tower, she was soaking wet and shivering holding the piece in her hands, she was ridiulously cold after all the swimming, "H-hey guys. T-that w-was fun." she looked over at the group and saw Glen trying to hand Beuce a drink and rolled her eyes and commented, "A-am I doing t-to have to s-see you d-drink in e-every world?" Kaida slowly lowered herself further into the water and mumbled relaxed, "The water is warmer than the air."

The blonde sat in the water for a moment and before turning to Glen, "Sorry about the psychotic drown Glen moment earlier I promise I don't actually want you dead."

    Candy Cane

A rainbow of colors filled the dark space as the daffodil ruskies danced; soon joined by Lily Milk Maids. The twirled, they leaped, they lined up, and they kicked. In the jumps, Base spotted what he needed--- a piece of the piece of music they need---, a tiny glowing orb yards and yards away. When the towering flowers lined up, linking petals with each other, Base rolled under them and let them hop right over him. Every move, every roll, and every jump matched the song perfectly as the music continued and continued to build up. But Base never got any closer... The orb remained as many orbs away he rolled towards it. Careful not to trip up the nearby dancers, the event-made Ballerino got to his feet and calmly lunged, with a few, useless Brisé thrown in by his artistic license, off stage to the man conducting the orchestra atop his podium.

"Pardon me, Mr. Stokowski?" Base held position fourth position while addressing someone as human as he.

"Yes?" The man replied, continuing to conduct as he looked over his shoulder. "Oh, are you new? I saw you out there, and, I must say, you dance with aplomb, young man."

    "Thank you, Mr. Stokowski. I-"

"Please, by all means, call me "Leo"."

"Leo, could I ask you a favor?"

"Yes, yes, go right ahead, my boy."

"Could you please stop for a moment please?"

"Well, since you asked so nicely." Leopold Stokowski called for a Grand Pause that arrested the company on the beat directly before the final notes. He held the pause for the length of time it took for Base to calm saunter across the stage, under frozen-in-place flowers to retrieve what he'd been sent to get. With it in hand, Base walked back to the book portal before turning to give Leo the go ahead with his thanks.

The piece ended with the fast twirl of strings and petals it was meant to have, and Base jumped on the very last, explosive note of resounding trumpets.

    Entrance

"Hey, guys, I just met Leopold Stokow-" Base carried his piece of the piece before realizing it was rising into the air by itself. All across the room, Base watched in wonder as each collected piece drifted into the air and conjoined into one glorious piece that hummed a wondrous tune through the flooded hall, unabated by the present, unsatisfactory conditions. Tchaikovsky played on while Dukas was paused by a mouse. Base listened with special interest.

Walking along the road, circling the heartless, Ananta watched each of them. Her comrades were slowly making a dent into the heartless, but these small-fry were much easier. Compared to the big battle from before, this skirmish was quite easy. Although, these heartless were annoying. Their lances made them fly around wildly, causing them to launch at enemies and allies alike. Damage wasn't a problem from these lances, no, they were just annoying as heck to Ananta. Soldiers aren't annoying, they're pretty weak compared to the Lance Soldiers. Ananta's only problem with the Soldiers is that they come in great numbers. Big numbers are pretty bad when you have limited resources to defeat them. However, be that as it may, the Lance Soldiers seemed to have it better off by their sheer numbers and strength. Therefore, Ananta decided to focus only on the Lance Soldiers. From the looks of things, her comrades would be just fine dealing with the regular Soldiers. Hopping back and holding her keyblade to her side, Ananta held a Fire spell in her hand. The first Lance Soldier that she next saw would be defeated. Her eyes spotted one and immediately she rushed for it, outstretching her hand with the Fire.

It was a direct hit. The Lance Soldier flung backwards and landed on it's back, the lance was knocked out of it's hand and landed in the ground. Ananta approached the lance and gripped it. Running forward, she reached the Lance Soldier and held the lance above her head. Stabbing downwards, she pierced the Lance Soldier's armor and caused it to disintegrate into darkness. "That's one down...I think I can take on 2 more." she said to nobody in particular. Turning around, she saw Kross's face. Remembering back to just before the attack, Ananta heard the hurt in his voice. "I've got to talk to him..." she said, stepping towards him. A lance zoomed by her head. It's wielder landed to the ground and stared at Ananta. The Lance Soldier just barely missed her, causing Ananta to fall over onto the ground from surprise. "Holy...." she said, shaking her head and standing back up. Gripping the hilt of her keyblade, she ran towards it and began to clash. Once again, her keyblade clanked against a lance. This time, however, it didn't seem that this Lance Soldier was going down without a fight.

Except for it slipping and weakening it's grip on the lance. Ananta was able to fling the lance to the side and beat down the Lance Soldier, leaving behind wisps of darkness. Standing up, she checked herself for any injuries. There was one on her left arm, but it was just a small bruise. Nothing too serious. Sighing, she took a Cure spell and rubbed it into her bruise, looking around at the other Lance Soldiers that were left. There was one that seemed quite wobbly. It's knees were buckling as if it were scared. As soon as it locked eyes with Ananta, it dropped it's lance and fumbled to grab it once more. The Lance Soldier held it in it's shaking hands as Ananta approached. "Stupid heartless....thinking they can just feign ignorance and unfamiliarity with their weapons..." she said under breath, the poison from her words ringing from her mouth. Once she was close enough, she knocked keyblade hard into the Lance Soldier's side. It flew off and skidded across the ground. It's lance flung off somewhere out of view. Ananta hurried over and readied to kill the heartless. "Enjoy the darkness." she said, frowning and stabbing the dark creature.

Fighting off more heartless, Raisor noticed their enemies becoming much smaller in numbers. There were only a handful of enemies left, and he was pretty sure they could do it quickly enough to find the princess. He really didn't enjoy not knowing what was going on, and if they lost the trail of the princess, they weren't going to know exactly what to do next, and that was going to bug him immensely.
Getting his mind back on the fight, he ran up to a Soldier that was facing away and hit it on its back. The Soldier seemed started by the attack, and threw a kick at Raisor. Deflecting it with his keyblade, he knocked the kick back and slammed the heartless with another hit, causing it to vanish. A few more heartless noticed him near them and began surrounding. In all he was surrounded on four sides, and he needed to fix that.
The first heartless threw its attack at him, which Raisor countered by ducking down on all fours and throwing his legs back, kicking the heartless in the stomach and sending it sprawling on the ground. As it hit the ground, the heartless to his right attack him as he was on the ground. Quickly putting his keyblade on his left hand, he swung his body over, slashing the Soldier across the front and causing it to dissipate as well. He was now on the ground with his body facing upward with three more heartless to deal with. The last two heartless attack him, and Raisor need a way out. He jumped to his feet and stayed squatting down, jumping at the last second, just dodging the first attack in front of him; after which jumping off the heartless' head and landing behind it, throwing his keyblade around in a circle, hitting the Soldier behind him on its side and sent it flying toward the second heartless heading toward him. The two collided and spun on the ground. Raisor sent another flame attack at the two heartless, and knocked the second one further away, and managed to defeat the one he knocked away. As he wondered what to do next, the first heartless that was kicked to the ground jumped at Raisor in the air, which made it incredibly easy to defeat. Raisor swung his keyblade over his head and slashed at the heartless as it came down, sending it to the ground and causing it to vanish. The last heartless was still on the ground from his Fire spell, and he walked over to it, stabbing the creature with his keyblade before the Soldier could get up.
After taking out five Soldiers, Raisor noticed a single Soldier hiding behind a few Lance Soldiers. He dashed forward, knocked the Lance Soldiers aside and deflecting their attacks as he ran forward, reaching the last enemy in his sights. The Soldier tried to throw a punch at Raisor, but he was faster. Gripping his keyblade, he thrust it faster than the enemy's attack, and the keyblade went straight into the Soldier's face, causing it to stop moving, fall down, and vanish as it hit the ground.
Feeling happy with his beating of the soldiers, Raisor lifted his keyblade on his soldiers, waiting for the rest of the group to finish up their groups of heartless.

The skeletons were all having a wild time. They danced around like the strange beings that they were. They're movements were uncanny, and rather impossible considering how bones normally worked. It was so weird, and it really did destroy the spooky image that made the graveyard. It was like everything that was happening was choreographed, and the group themselves just happened to have been in the wrong place at the wrong time. Skeletons were swarming the entire group, and in response the entire group was fighting to gain control of the area. Everyone seemed to be fairing well, but D'daear would not know considering he was too busy handling a duet of skeletons. The two skeletons were able to defy gravity in a strange dance that was taking place before the boy's eyes. The two took turns shrinking and elongating their skeletal proportions like they were spaghetti or made of rubber, with the long one always ending up floating in the sky for a brief second before descending down to the ground in order to shrink. It was just weird, so weird that D'daear's anger was somehow being quelled momentarily. The keyblade became loose in his hand as D'daear raised a brow in the confusion. "What?" he uttered, trying to make sense of these things. Suddenly, one of the two skeletons bopped the other on the skull, and all of sudden one of the two was being used as a Pogo stick. They started jumping up and down. It took D'daear a while to realize that the two were actually still dancing. As they danced in attempt to distract the angry boy, another skeleton had snuck up from behind. Grabbing its skull, it gave it a nice toss towards the distracted D'daear. He didn't even see it coming. With a nice hit to the back of the head, the skeleton delivered a nice HEAD butt that caused D'daear to reel as he winced in pain. It really hurt him, especially since it was the back of the head. Instinct called his free hand to cover the wounded spot. Inhaling through clamped jaws, he could feel blue eyes getting damp. It was a sucker punch--or hit. The point being that D'daear was not expecting it, thus not being ready for how he would react to it.

"OOOWWW!!!!!" he shouted, disturbed by the randomness. He quickly turned around to reveal irritated eyes. See the headless skeleton fumbling to find its skull, D'daear's hand gripped the keyblade tight once more. "I'll show you..." he uttered as he picked up the skull with a stressed hand. With a small toss to the air, D'daear gripped the weapon with the other hand, swung the keyblade with anger, and sent the skull rocketing towards the headless skeleton. With a nice smash the skull pummeled through the body, sending bones flying everywhere. With a stress relieving puff from nostrils, D'daear let it be at that. Now it was time to face the two bones that were doing who knows what. As the purple haired boy turned around, he couldn't help but place a hand on hip while placing the keyblade onto shoulder in --you guessed it-- confusion. As if using a partner as a Pogo stick wasn't enough, now one of them was using the other as a xylophone. It looked like the performer was using the other skeletons femurs as xylophone sticks because the other one seemed shorter, and was bent over. The taller skeleton began tapping away at the xylo-skeletons spine; each vertebrae making a unique sound. Shaking his head, D'daear was not taking a liking to these creatures.

Raising the keyblade off of shoulder, he swung the weapon at the air as he stopped the swing when outstretched arm and blade became parallel to the ground. Eyes glared at the two skeletons in irritation. "Still playing around with us, I see. Hmph...as I said before... I'll show you to stop toying with us!"

As he spat words out, D'daear was only a split second from lunging forward when all of a sudden he heard rattling sound effects emanating from behind him. Stopping himself, he quickly jumped forward in order to turn around mid jump. Landing, he got into a defensive position for extra measure. Blue irises immediately caught sight of the same pile of bones he had dismembered shivering to life. Suddenly, as if on cue, the sound of a single stringed cello began to play in the back ground, but it sounded close by. This made D'daear suddenly go on edge again as he became aware of the many sounds coming from the background. The rattling of bones, the so called "instruments" playing, and the sound of his allies swinging away and exhaling battle cries. It was becoming too much. Right hand tightened on the keyblades handle, mind doing everything it could to stay focused and sane. He wasn't scared per-say, but for sure with all the noise that field this battlefield, it sure as heck made him edgy. Off to the side, the boy became aware of yet another skeleton. This one was using a cat as an instrument. With a foot, it had pinned down the cat, and stretched its tail. With its free hand, it held a piece of bone that was being used as a bow to play the cats tail like some kind of string instrument.

D'daear took a step back. The defeated pile of bones a few feet away from D'daear suddenly began to stir, as if responding to the music being played by the performers. They rattled to life, and not only those, but from the other skeletons D'daear had defeated as well. All of them began to converge into a single entity. With four skulls stacked on top of one another, 12 legs total, two pelvises, and a large chest cavity as well as spine, it appeared to be a strange combination. What was it? D'daear readied himself as he saw begin to stir wildly. Legs began to flail against the floor as it began to move towards D'daear. As it got closer in closer within seconds, it occurred to D'daear just how LARGE of a creature it was, which instigated fear. Now THIS was something he had to take seriously. Taking a step back, D'daear quickly tugged at emotions, trying to find a strategy with whatever seconds he had left. Should he tackle it head on, or was there another option? he quickly scanned his surroundings. Everyone seemed busy. When nothing could be conjured in his mind, he just rolled with it. Fighting hesitation, he pushed himself to run towards the giant skeleton being thing. Feet stomped on the ground as he ran gathered momentum.

"AAAH!!!!" he cried, shouting away his fear. "WHAT AM I DOING!?" he exclaimed to himself, feeling that small doubt of sanity. Right arm extended to the front with keyblade ready to act as shield. The clash was inevitable. The two opposing forces rammed into one another, however D'daear had lunged forward only a moment before. In that lunge, he had jabbed the keyblade forward, slamming at the base of the necks. The blade was acting as the shield that he needed to ram against the skeleton. Immediately right arm began to wane in strength, resulting in him calling left arm to come to aid. Carefully applying force at the blade of the weapon with left hand, he pushed against the creature. Feet skidded against the ground as the creature charged on, only having been slowed. Gritting teeth, D'daear got angry as a means to fuel himself. Arms tensed, comically expanding like the cartoon that he was, and knees buckled down, locking in order to better resist the bull charge this thing was giving him. Yelling out, body stressed itself, becoming most noticeable in the arms as they quivered with the clash of power that was ensuing. In a matter of seconds the creature began to slow, now each of its step requiring more power to push on. A bead of sweat trailed down D'daear's forehead and onto furrowed brows. Feet took longer and longer to skid against ground, which meant he was resisting. It did not take long before D'daear noticed he had nearly stopped the skeleton.

With brows furrowed, lips raised in snicker to the moment. With a simple shift of the weapon, the base of the keyblade rammed up the skeletons neck, just where the skull and neck connect. Control suddenly fell on D'daear, which was good. He liked being in control. It made things easier for him. Calling forth the top of pectorals and shoulder muscles, he began to force skeleton onto its 6 back legs. The front legs flailed in lack of control. The skull's face contorted in worry as it knew all too well it was a battle lost. D'daear let out a loud cry just before shoving the skeleton off balance. The skeleton 's front legs dangled in the air as it reeled back, back legs trying to find the large body's center of gravity. Without wasting time, D'daear pivoted to the left using right foot, and swung the keyblade around to gather momentum and power. Arms swung the blade with everything they had, fueled with his negative ambivalence.

"RRAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!!!!!" D'daear screamed. With a powerful horizontal slash, the keyblade slammed into the skeletons sternum. The blow was so hard that the skeleton took a few steps back before falling wounded to the ground. Blue irises stared at the downed skeleton as D'daear stood there tall, lungs lusting over air as chest expanded every other second.

It was still in tact though. Perhaps it needed a finishing blow.

    Base leveled up! (23)

With the musical piece finished and the note retrieved by Base, all seven of them were returned back to where the sorcerer's apprentice; Mickey awaited them.
Still twiddling away to keep the portal open, a bright light flashed as they all appeared before him.
"Way to go fellas! You found the second note! Only five more to go!"
Still casting with one hand, he used the other to flip through pages of the book until he found the page he needed. "Aha! Part 3!" He closed his eyes and focused hard for the portal to change.
And before their eyes, the portal shifted from a lake of lilypads, to a field of desolate mountain and earth where dinosaurs roamed about. Mickey opened his eyes in time to see the monstrous beast walk by the portal on the other side. "Whoa!! Better be careful with this one guys... I don't think all of them are herbivores..."
Another bright light flashed as they were sucked back in and came across the sight of a deceased dinosaur and a T-Rex standing over it's kill. The light that shined as they entered caught the dinosaur's attention as he roared at them in the pouring rain. He left the dead carcass and went towards the seven of them with a hungry glare in his eyes. Along with another musical note!

"This is going surprisingly well, don't you think?" Aden mentioned back to Hikaru.
Looking back at his ally, he nodded and replied back; "Couldn't have gotten much worse!"
With the six of them, they had managed to take down roughly a quarter of the total skeletons. But things had to progress more quickly. He looked back to Aden and lifted his keyblade high to cast a healing spell on him. "So let's make sure they stay down!" with his cure spell healing Aden, he ran off to find more targets to destroy. As he was not exactly the slash and dash type, he looked to his more magical arsenal for ideas. Dumbo and Bambi were often fairly reliable, but the Cheshire Cat was always unpredictable, With those options in mind, he chose to save Dumbo for a later time and conserve his magic by just slashing away at more enemies to build up his halfway depleted MP bar.
Spotting five more targets for him to take down, he slashed away at them as per fighting fashion and gained a bit of MP back to go on the offensive again. He looked around and found a few more of them hidden behind tombstones as he went on to exterminate them.

Cailyn's eyes went wide as she watched Hikaru used a magic he called 'Faith'. It was spectacular. She felt the warmth of the light in the pillars. "He's so cool!" Cailyn thought to herself, basking in Hikaru's awesomeness. She was trying to get her head out of the clouds and back into her battling when she heard Aden.

Aden turned to Hikaru. "This is going surprisingly well, don't you think?"

"They're all such good fighters." Cailyn thought to herself as she walked Aden, and then D'daear. She would never be as good. She felt so discouraged, but a part of her was happy she was with such strong team members, on her own she would have never stood a chance.

"You go D'daear!" Cailyn tried to cheer as she tried to dance past some of the Skeletons around her, watching as D'daear roared. The Skeletons were creeping her out, if she was honest with herself. Out of all the things she thought about fighting, like dragons and you know your usuals, skeletons were not in the job description. That and spiders. She hated spiders. If she ever had to fight giant, spine-chilling spiders she would just die. After this she was almost 100% sure she would be scarred for the rest of her existence. Why did she find this ink spot? Why couldn’t it have been a happier ink spot? This was so horrible.

"So let's make sure they stay down!"

Alright maybe it wasn’t. Not with
Aden, D’daear and Hikaru around. As much as she was jealous of their ability, she couldn’t help but smile when they encouraged the team or made jokes. "You got it, Hikaru!" Cailyn said back. "Nope don't got it don't got it don't got it." She thought to herself as she started to try and get back to business. "Ugh I can't do this." She clenched her fists. "I can't just give up!" She thought to herself, the thought shouting in her brain. "It's not like they really need my help, but I don't want to be a burden on the team." Cailyn pinched herself on her arm slightly. “This isn’t a dream. Stop thinking about it, stay positive.”

She took a deep breath. She switched her Keyblade from her right hand to her left, and proceeded to face her fear head on. Though her legs felt like lead and her stomach nauseated, she rushed towards the Skeletons full on. She had to force herself to fight, even if she was scared. They had to win and she couldn’t bare the shame of letting everyone down. She didn’t want to see the disappointment, especially when everyone had welcomed her with such openness. It would just break her heart. She slashed at the skeleton, her hair flying in front of her face, making it especially hard for her to see. Either way she still cut and sliced at the Skeleton. She couldn’t fight with strategy, or make plans for her attacks, she just had to run in and try to fight the best she could.

“Hey Skeley’s, Why didn't the skeleton cross the road?” Cailyn asked them. She brought her Keyblade down on one of the Skeleton’s “He didn’t have the guts.” She snorted, but it wasn’t really that funny. “Ok, you better watch out because I’m going to make you wish you stayed dead!” Cailyn yelled.

Cailyn finally got her positively back, even though inside she still wasn’t 100%. She plunged her Keyblade into the Skeletons, trying to focus on the good side of things. She was here fighting with some of the greatest people she’s ever seen. She kept hitting relentlessly, until she was able to take out 3 skeletons.

After everyone had made their way out of the book, Stratos turned around to observe the state that everyone else was in...and apparently both Beuce and Glen were floored into some complete state of shock over something, Glen so much that he had started drinking something that he pulled out of nowhere. Wait a second, bottled liquids that could be pulled out of some pocket dimension. There was something Stratos seemed to be forgetting about those kinds of things. As he looked back at Beuce a realization was starting to dawn on him, only for his train of thought to be quickly cut off by Kaida emerging from the book, being soaking wet and apparently freezing from whatever escapades that she had been through within that fancy musical world. He wondered what kind of adventures everyone else had gone on, though these thoughts were cut short by Base emerging from the portal as well. However, while he started to speak to everyone about his own journey, suddenly the pieces that everyone had collected through the book world shenanigans had all flown from them and come together in an explosion of musical goodness, causing the pieces to form into one solid note. Two down and five more to go.

As Mickey had confirmed this for them, he opened up a new portal that just sort of enveloped them all in a blinding light, and transported them all to another dimension, quite like the first book had. Within this world, background music was playing quite like it had been in the last world they were in. Only this one was quite different from the last, both musically and atmospherically. They appeared to be in a barren canyon like area, filled to the brim with dinosaurs. There in that canyon was a T-Rex fighting down a stegosaurus with others of the reptilian titans just bystanding and watching the fight happen. This was like what he learned about when it came to bullying in school. Regardless of that, the T-Rex was able to easily overcome the stegosaurus and ended up killing it without much of a fight. While the scene was horrifying, they still had a mission to attend to and that was finding the magical note piece. Now where could that be? Scanning around the area, he wasn't quite sure where to look until he saw a strange gleam coming from the T-Rex's eye. Well, target sighted. While he didn't feel like he could actually speak here, for whatever reason, he motioned to the group and pointed at the T-Rex, as if telling them that was their objective.

Now, Stratos had absolutely no experience in hunting down dinosaurs. In fact, he was pretty sure his world didn't even have dinosaurs. So how did he know what this creature was? Heck if he knew. But what he did have experience in dealing with was a being of seemingly equal ferocity and size. And that was none other than, the behemoths. And how does one kill a behemoth? Well you hit a lot that's how. So he figured the same idea would hold true for this creature as well, and decided to start his assault on it. Getting on his keyblade glider, he took off, flying at full speed towards the beast, and then crashed the glider straight into the back of its head to just get its attention. The beast seemed to be angered by this action, understandably so, and let out a soundless roar at the keyblade wielder. Having fallen onto the ground as a result of his action, Stratos quickly got up and took off on his keyglider to distract the beast, opening up for other people to attack him.

Shaking the rain water off his scalp, Base took in the sight of the area. A very large, very ferocious-looking beast roared and had very, very sharp teeth. Huh.

"Well...uh...there it is." He professed nonchalantly. "Life, uh... finds a way..." There was a one thing to do and one thing to do only. As Stratos distracted the beast, Base stood just behind Beuce and took hold of his wrists, using his friend like a noodley-armed meat-puppet. He sang.

"♫♫Oh, Imma yummy human, look at me so juicy, beucey, and rich. I do awesome favors and have awesome flavor, you see my taste is something so dear!♫♫"

He sang, mimicking Beuce's voice before darting behind Glen and raising that friend's hands proudly in the air and trying to bring as much notice over to them and not him.

    "♫♫AND I'VE BEEN MAR-I-NATE-ED IN BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER!♫♫"

Something near Glen's voice left Base's mouth as he tried his best to get on his glider and made his way up to the T-Rex.

Woa, maybe this was a bad idea. This thing was far more ugly up close and scalier than- Base took a moment to wonder in this thing could read minds. He didn't want to chance it. He went for the tail and dipped and dived whenever the T-Rex's mouth tried to chomp down on him. Each attack landed a tremendous clash of cymbals to fit the atmosphere, while trumpets dey go... BADA...the trumpets they go BADA! THE TRUMPETS THEY GO: BA!

You see, Fantasia spent so much effort wondering if they could make a sequence with dinosaurs, when they could have been asking if they should. Jurassic Park had Disneyland references, this Disney/Square Enix game will have Jurassic Park remarks to complete the circle. Base hit and hit against the beast's leathery hide as it continued to rain, and began to assess his life choices; namely, at the moment, he was fighting a monster that was particularly gruesome, and it was ridiculously large. He'd fought the Trick Master, which had been--- Since Base was scaled down at the time--- huge, but not quite as grotesque. This was real. This had flesh, bones, and an odd contact lense that- Wait! So that's why Stratos was attacking the beast. Here, Base was just offering back-up to a friend who surely had a death wish, but then, it dawned on Base that they were supposed to kill the mighty giant. They had to make it extinct... Base was absolutely, 100% okay with this concept. He kept hitting until he could no longer hit for that time. He really didn't like that beasty, as it continued to try and make a snack out of his lean frame.

Both the keyblade wielder and the T-Rex were now locked in an endless dance of battle and finesse. And giant sword rocket boards and prehistoric might. Now in this waltz, Stratos continued zooming around in a zig zag formation in order to get the dinosaur to trip or slow down or stumble or something of the like. But all that had actually happened was that it continued to run straight towards him not giving a **** for his tactics. Well damn, that threw a monkey wrench into his plans. Putting his down, hard, on the back of his keyglider, he the back go down and start to skid across the ground. With sparks erupting from the glider, he started to slow down as the friction was was providing resistance against his forward progression, but he used this to his advantage and did a sharp near ninety degree turn. Lowering the pressure released from his foot, the back of the board had started to lift off the ground and Stratos was able to zoom off in style and safety. The T-Rex, being thoroughly annoyed about this, let out another roar and started to turn its direction as it picked up the pace.

It was as he was flying away from this behemoth sized monster that Base had appeared and joined the fray on their antics of making prehistoric creatures go extinct. Each time Base had landed an attack against the creature he realized that there was a resounding crash sound that played alongside it. Well that was certainly interesting. He wondered if there was a sound like that when he had crashed into it earlier. Though the thoughts were soon shaken off as he continued to watch Base tangle with the creature. It had appeared to be just trying to bite at him and nothing sort of strange was going on just yet. He was sure it was probably going to do some magical thing later on in the fight, but for now, it was just an ordinary giant dinosaur. After a few more hits, the creature had continued to try to eat Base, but Base didn't seem to have any more energy in attacking. Well this was where tag teaming came into play. Facing the giant dinosaur, Stratos turned his keyglider into a keyblade and went in to try some sort of physical command attack. As he brought the keyblade to his side he started to charge up an attack.

However something was weird. There were no cherry blossoms falling, time didn't seem to stand still at all and he didn't blink through the beast with a super powerful slash. Huh. As it were, apparently Zantetsuken wasn't working in the slightest, and Stratos just sort of fell to the ground and hit it with a hard thud. Well that was painful. Standing back up, he tried to use vorpal blitz just to confirm something and realized that that wasn't working either. It seemed that the only two physical commands he knew weren't actually working at the moment, which was a bit of a problem. Ah well. Pointing his keyblade, spellbinder, he charged up a blizzard spell. The cold energy was building up on the keyblade, though it seemed to be colder and brighter then usual. As he fired off the spell, the regular chunk of ice that was there seemed to be replaced by a much faster and larger one that hit the dinosaur square in the face, with a sound affect of symbols crashing taking place while it happened. Well that was handy. He had no idea why, but his magic seemed to be all the more powerful and he wasn't going to complain about that.
