The small break that they were given for the next behemoth decided to challenge them was well used, for Kel had taken a seat on the ground and started had to catch his breath. Two behemoths left and considering how the one that they'd face had gotten progressively harder as time went one, these last two probably would be a nightmare to deal with. Least there was four of time in somewhat capable condition. The peace of the break that Kel was taking lasted a few more seconds before the next behemoth stepped forth to face them and this one was quite the abomination. Okay, abomination might be a bit too strong to in describing the heartless before them, but it was still a miss mash of various different things. One leg was ice, another earth and one arm was water and another was demonic. To top it all off, the head and chest of the behemoth only added to its unique appearance. "Bigger is one word for it." Kel said. This was already going to be a pain in the ass to deal with, that much was clear from a single glance at the chimera, yeah, lets go with that, of a behemoth.

Karina was the first one to attack, despite her poor condition. Though the behemoth pretty much just blew her away with a stream of water form its watery arm. Now would be a perfect time for some lightning magic, which made the fact that the only elements that Kel knew that could do damage were fire and ice. Fire wouldn't do anything seeing as it had an arm made out of water. Hopefully the fiery demon arm couldn't absorb flames and use them against him. If so, then all the more reason not to use it. As for ice, well while the water arm wouldn't do much in the way of stopping the attack, the demon arm could and likely would take care of the tiny shard of ice with no effort. Hell the behemoth could probably just move its arm in the path of the ice and the heat would just evaporate it. This was just another reason as to why he needed to strengthen his magic. On the bright side, least he hasn't been burned 3 times in a row by the behemoth, well not at the moment. If that demon had hit him, then he would probably end up wit a lot more than a few burns.

Anyway the time for inner monologues was over, so Kel got up on his feet and summon his keyblade. Karina and Stratos were busy flying around the behemoth attacking it from range. First off, why wasn't Karina this cooperative in Land of Dragons. Killing a bird doesn't count, no matter how annoying it was. Second, were those circus balloons floating in the air? That wouldn't be as surprising as it was if it had come from Shac, but nonetheless they two wilders in the air were currently dodging circus balloon in the sky. Kel took this chance to rush the behemoth while it was preoccupied. When he'd gotten in range, he leapt into the air and grabbed in to one f the metallic features on its face. Then Kel took his keyblade and proceeded to repeated beat on the metal head with hopes of at least denting it. After about the tenth hit, he held his keyblade back and swung down with all the strength that he could muster. The resulting impact had cause a pretty loud gong sound to resonate in the air, which had also sent a vibration from the point of impact that transferred through the keyblade and into Kel. Much like you would see in the cartoons, the wilder wobbled his way off of the head and floated in the air for a few moment. That was followed by him getting a swift uppercut by the demon arm sending him higher in the air. Aside from the obvious pain that he was felling, the blow had left parts of Kel's clothing slightly charred. Still better than what could've happened. As he flight in the air came of a stop, Kel was expecting to have a painful landing on the ground, but his decent was cut short. Eventually he opened his eyes and saw that he'd landed on Karina's glider. "Mind if I get a lift?" He jokingly asked, using this time to get an idea on what to do next.

Feel free to use Kel for any teamwork purposes, just don't cause him too much pain.

Karina circled around in the air dodging attack after attack by the behemoth, even once he nearly grabbed them out of the air, that one took some maneuvering to get out of. Karina was unsure and getting annoyed with Stratos not doing anything, that was until she realized why. She was such an idiot, of course he wasn't doing anything he had no mp, that was why both of them where running around in such rough shape. Neither of them had the mp to use what little magic they had, and that was a dangerous thing. They couldn't keep ranged without it and they couldn't heal either. This was bad. But despite all this Stratos had come up with a way to attack from afar. He was sending his keyglider at it as a weapon. Well that worked. Keeping focused on the behemoth she saw him summon a giant.... water balloon? It split into eight and when Stratos hit one with his glider it exploded. Clearly they shouldn't go near those things. Karina continued to circle around giving Stratos every opportunity to attack that she could without getting hit too much herself. Keeping the glider stable was certainly a task, but an achievable one. It wasn't the most smooth ride but it was good enough that Stratos could stay on.

As they flew around and fight Karina's attention was caught by Kel attempting to attack the behemoth. He didn't seem to be getting very far with it though. Eventually Kel just walked off it's head for some reason and was met with an uppercut that sent him high in the air. "Well guess we should save him." Karina said with a sigh. She aimed her glider up as she flew to rescue Kel before he plummeted to the ground. She had caught him with very little problem but now the glider was harder to maneuver with the extra weight. She would make it work though, whatever it took to take out this behemoth. As they floated high above the behemoth, the creature seemed to be coming up with ideas on how it would hurt them next. An oh so familiar attack started. One used by the angelic behemoth quite a few times and by this one once. From seemingly no where bolts of light came raining down on them. Being so high up the spacing between the beams where no where near as wide as it normally was. Karina was having trouble dodging them all, grunting with each one that hit her.

As the rain of light ended the attacks from the behemoth certainly did not. A purple aura surrounded her glider pulling them down. With this many people and that strong magic Karina was having trouble counteracting the magic. Karina could only thing of one thing to do, though it seemed like a dangerous bad chose. Setting her glider so it would continue trying to fly up at full force so it would at least slow the fall, Karina jumped from it and out of the area affected by the gravity magic. She flew down at the behemoth preparing to attack with her fists. Once close enough she started a splatter combo on the nearest body part, the horn. Karina got only half way though her combo to look back and see the glider was losing power and picking up speed about to crash into the ground. "Gravity!" Karina shouted as she attempted to cast the spell in order to counteract the behemoths, lucky for her she did, just barely though. While she was doing that however the behemoth was not going to go easy on her. A dark firaga came from it's torso made of darkness and hit her at point blank range sending her flying. Hitting the ground Karina clenched her stomach but forced herself to her feet once more. She summoned her glider to her in order to make it easier to go get her comrades. She flew the best that she could to the spot that they where in and caught them on her glider. She lowered them to the ground. "I can only take one on my glider, you two decide." Karina said between heavy breaths. She still held her stomach but she was operational, and by that she meant she could still barely fight but would push herself to do it no matter what.

The rest between the behemoths was brief, but absolutely needed. The brief rest eased the ache in their limbs, even if ever so slightly. However, the respite was far too finite. The final behemoth of the north side showed itself. What a monstrosity it was. A massive compilation of all ten elements. but that wasn't all. It seemed...just outright more powerful than any of the other behemoths. There was no question none of them could defeat this thing by themselves. The other behemoths were difficult fights at their strongest, but against a more powerful one while they were all in a weakened state...No, he was sure they could do it. karina and Stratos were performing aerial tactics, but it was able to counter it. It called forth a giant circus balloon with its watery arm. They didn't seem to be overly threatened by this, but Beuce had studied the theory of magic and knew full well what it was. "Back away from it!" He yelled out, but it was too late. The balloon fulfilled its purpose and injured the others. The only reason Beuce was spared was because he had made his assault yet. Taking out his items, he tossed a hi-potion and hi-ether to Stratos, indicating for him to use them as he felt neccessary.

"A hit and run tactic won't be too useful here. It seems smarter and stronger than the others. Not to mentioin that it probably has enough area spells to hit all of us...Alright. Here's the plan. I'll hold the vanguard. Keep it busy and be the front lines attacker. Zantetsuken should be enough to get me close to it without being countered, and once i'm in, i should be able to lay into it for a bit before it throws me back. Kel, i need you to use your stroke of midnight to keep me and stratos in MP. I'm going to be using a lot of it, and i'd imagine he is too. But, that means you'll need to be attacking it as well to regain your own mp, so we'll try to time our strikes and get us both in. Stratos, i need support from you. use those items when you think its needed, and provide healing. I won't last long without that. Although don't use aero. If this behemoth is a magic user, it won't be much help. Save your MP for other things. Karina, you're debatably the most important of the four of us. As i attack it, if my hunch is right, there should be times when parts of its body are vulnerable. When that happens, you move in, you strike it, and you get out. They won't stay down for long, but there should be enough of an openeing to attack. If we intend to pull this off, we've got to work together. If each of us sticks to our job, we should be able to....No, we WILL bring it down. Now, regroup!" Beuce called to the other wielders. He honestly believed they could defeat Spectrum. Not only because of the strategy he'd just given, but because of the people he had to carry it out. Some people go down in history for their intelligence, or strength of body, but some have more than that. They have strength of heart. He could tell each of them were one of those people.

Everyone knew their place in the fight, and he was sure they'd stick to it. He was exhausted and injured, but he didn't have the worst of it. he could still fight without collapsing. Preparing his keyblade, cherry blossoms filled the air as he vanished and appeared once more next to Spectrum, leaving a gash in the earth leg. The behemoth was ready for him. It swung a flaming arm at him. Beuce flipped into the air to avoid it. 'Water beats fire' From the tip of his keyblade, an intense jet of water fired out with intense force, dousing the demonic arm. Steam filled the air as the flames temporarily came to a still, dying down. He landed on the arm from his flip momentarily, and avoided burns because of it. He was thrown back into the air as a spinning kick from the ice leg came at him, glimmering with ice magic. 'Fire beats Ice.' He spun, throwing a trio of Firas at the leg, each exploding and blowing it back. Ordinarily, this wouldn't have been quite enough, but out of the four of them, Beuce had by far the strongest magic. The ice leg began to drip and melt, losing stability. However, that too was only temporary. The third attack was a downward fist from the water arm. 'Water loses to...Thunder..." He knew his winning streak ended there. He had no thunder magic at his disposal to stop the attack. With the force of what felt like a truck, the liquid arm crashed into the white haired keyblade wielder, pinning him to the ground. The weight of the water crushed down on him, preventing movement on a large scale. Air was lost to him, and if he didn't do something quickly, he'd drown. In an act of desperation, he raised his right palm, struggling to do so, and slammed it onto the ground.

Eight circular lights appeared in a circle around him on the ground. They only lasted a second, as they detected contact with enemies. The mines immediately exploded all at once, creating a massive boom that blew apart the water arm and caused it to rain on the north side momentarily. Since Mine Square was an Earth command, rather than thunder, the water arm reformed in seconds, instead of becoming vulnerable. Still choking for air, Beuce was in no position to avoid the rocky leg that swung at his body, kicking him with incredible force. If that weren't bad enough, it didn't just send him flying horizontally as it should have. The second it made contact, Beuce vanished in what seemed like a brown portal, only to reappear near the roof. Which given all the things that have happened in this library, was pretty freaking high. Halfway down, he performed an act of desperation to save his life from the certainly fatal impact on the ground. He mustered up the last of his MP and cast stop on himself, freezing him in midair. He could only hope someone would understand the idea and go to catch him.

Beuce can now be controlled by the north side for teamwork purposes

Stratos was continuing to fly around Karina's glider, until they picked up Kel. Despite his efforts to help at the moment, the three of them on one vehicle was actually pretty bad. The behemoth seemed to think this too, and decided that he would take them all down with relative ease on his own. With it starting to rain holy down upon them, the situation was bad and only going to get worse. While they were not able to actually avoid most the attacks, the lasers were not enough, or so Spectrum the Elemoth thought. He then seemed to want to ground them by casting gravity on all of them, pulling the entire glider down to the ground. Despite Karina's best efforts, they couldn't escape the field until she ended up casting gravity on all of them. And even that wasn't good enough to save them. Karina then took a dark firaga, basically point blank, and blasted her away. Despite this sort of massive amount of force, Karina was still able to stand from the attack and then told them that they had to choose who would go on the glider. Stratos wasn't sure which of them would do better in the air, until Beuce came up with a plan for them to follow.

It was here that there entire plan of attack and formation would be decided. They would either make it or break it in this fight, and working together and not getting killed would require just about every ounce of teamwork they had. Stratos caught the hi-potion and hi-ether as Beuce threw them to him, and wondered just what to do with them. He wasn't entirely sure if he'd know quite the right time to use them, but he would just have to believe in the comrades that believed in him to not screw it up. It was then that after everyone was designated their sort of positions and roles, that they split, ready to put the plan into action. Stratos figured that he would be best staying right where he was, as sort of a ground control to help support everyone most effectively while they all but themselves in danger on the front lines. After all, he'd have to try and be at his best just as much as they would. With that, he watched as Beuce had Zantetsukened his way over to the behemoth to start down his own form of assault.

He watched the masterful use of elemental attacks to counter the behemoth's different aspects of magic, and then saw just what was going on. Each time he attacked and countered the corresponding element of the behemoth, it started to become vulnerable in that area. Having read up on a good deal of magic himself, Stratos knew just what element could beat what, and knew, probably around the same time that Beuce did, that there was one core weakness in the group. Out of the four of them, none of them were mystics. And despite the other three being stronger than Stratos, they too probably didn't know a lightning spell yet. However this was only realized as Beuce was beaten down by the water arm. While he managed to get out of the tight spot using some reflexive magic casting, it was still a bad situation to be in, especially as the earth leg still hit him away. Stratos watched in horror as Beuce was suddenly at the top of the grand hall, and wondered just how he got there. It was terrifying though, as there was no way Stratos could do anything to save him in time. If there was just a little more time he could do something to stop it.

He then saw that Beuce was suspended in mid air, completely frozen. Coming to the realization that this was from a stop spell, Stratos decided to take quick action. Having cherry blossoms fall from the sky, Stratos quickly seemed to dash over to where Beuce was in mid air, and quickly summoned his keyglider, only to leave it suspended in mid air as Stratos went back, his feet skidding across the ground from the overall momentum of his leap. As he got his footing back, he saw that Beuce had landed, not harmlessly, but not dead onto his keyglider. He then shouted out to Beuce saying, "use my keyblade as well! It'll help you get back your magic faster and let you have overall more of it. Also leave space and wind magic to me, and just use you MP for anything and everything offensive!" After yelling this to Beuce, Stratos thought of what else he could start doing now. He no longer had a keyblade, but it was in better hands, as it could now be used to amplify the offensive magic, which Stratos wasn't going to be casting anyway.

However, he now had four mp at his disposal to use. One from his keyglider javelin tactics earlier and three from Kel's mp gift that he most likely had used. And so he waved his hand once, emanating green light from it and casting it on the first person who had taken terrible, terrible damage. That being Karina and the point blank dark firaga. Next up, he did the exact same thing again, only on Beuce, the guy who had nearly died. After having the healing light being cast over him, he then decided to heal the next and last guy on the list. Kel had taken a bit of a pummeling earlier from Spectrum and probably needed to be healed as well. After doing that, he still had one mp to use. It was too little to cast aero, and he was advised against using it anyway. Well, using it in the conventional means anyway. Stratos knew the earth leg could probably be a problem if not dealt with, and aero was the only feasible way to do that. Though, there was a more pressing and apparent issue he could take care of. Using his last bit of MP, Stratos cast gravity on the behemoth's head, causing the clockwork machine head to screech to a grinding halt. As it was now, it couldn't use any time magic on them.

Steel rushed towards his large opponent, determined to get in as many more hits as possible. As he once again found himself slashing at the creatures large horn, he thought to himself about how repetitive a battle with a creature that had only one weak point tended to be without magic. He observed that Ananta and Kross were nearly finished with the First of the other two Behemoths. Running a few calculations in his head brought him to the conclusion that he was little more than half finished with his current target. He cursed his luck under his breath; while it was true he could finish this heartless off relatively fast, if just the two of them fought their opponent at the same pace they could possibly defeat both of the remaining monsters before he could finish this one. He growled at that; if they finished before him, he would have no choice but to let them step in. Then what? Where will his resolve have taken him? "Nowhere!" He shouted bitterly as he charged at the horn once more. At the last second, the Screamarch turned to look towards the commotion outside of the barrier, lowering its head as Steel charged forward, causing him to fly right off the creature and fall to the ground. He flipped in midair and landed facing the Heartless. He glared silently as it started to walk towards the barrier. Steel wondered for a brief moment if the others had only really been considering their numbers when they told him he couldn't fight this Behemoth alone; after all, they had already sliced their way through one in the time it took him to go halfway, so they would have been almost done with the second by now if the three had been working together. Steel's scowl deepened as his mind produced the suggestion that they were only really concerned with the speed at which they could eliminate the monsters.

He shook his head to clear away negative thoughts as he calmly walked towards the Behemoth, which was by now screaming at the barrier in an attempt to break it. At least they hadn't completely destroyed the first of their two targets yet... His thoughts were interrupted by a loud battle cry as Ananta chopped off the Behemoths horn, causing it to disintegrate into black smoke while a large amount of hearts floated away. "Okay then." Steel spat as he picked up his pace. Jumping on to the back of the creature that would dare add insult to injury, he saw Ananta now dealing with... the Betonguemeth. "This is getting ridiculous he whispered as he walked up to the Screamarch's horn, Umbrella ready. He sent a cleaving blow towards the horn, smirking in satisfaction at the roar of pain that emerged at his actions. He mimicked the action with Llama head, he managed to get in a decent spin strike before once again planting both of his keyblades in the Screamarch's head. It seemed to be a rather effective method, but he needed something new... Oh great, now he sounded like Jack...

Despite how glad Kel was at the free ride he was given, the behemoth clearly didn't care for that at all, which was clear by Karina's attempts to avoid the pillars of light that were sent at them. This was quite unexpected considering that there wasn't a single part of the behemoths body that looked like it could fire off anything light related, but here it was firing it at them. Despite a few nicks every now and then, they managed to avoid most of the light attacks. Next up came a purple aura around the glider, which Kel recognized due to all of the times he'd used the spell against Mim. Spectrum was casting gravity on the glider, which made a bit more sense than it using light related attacks and to counter it, Karina tilted her glider upward and drove it at full force towards the sky. While this was pretty reckless, it had managed to keep them in the air longer. It didn't keep Karina from taking a dark firaga to the face. It wasn't long after that that they were guided back to the ground by Karina, who despite her efforts to stay on her feet was clearly in a lot of pain.

It was then that Beuce had formulated a strategy for them all to use. Once again it seemed that Kel was given a supporting role, but the main difference this time was that he would actually be able to do some damage while giving MP to those who needed it. First thing first, how was he suppose to use MP gift. Considering that it was one of the many abilities that he never use, he could be there for a bit trying to figure this out. Fortunately he had an idea on how to avoid that. Kel closed his eyes and started to concentrate on his keyblade with hopes that something would happened. HIs hopes were soon granted as three separate beams of light extended form his keyblade and connected to Stratos, Karina's and Beuce's keyblades. It was safe to assume that that meant that their keyblades were connected via his keyblades MP gift ability. Now he had to be pretty conservative with his spells so that the others could make full use of his MP gift. Good thing he was more physical then mystical cause given his current level of mp, he'd may end up unintentionally screwing over the others. That said, if he was a more mystical fighter, then the amount of mp that he would have to spare probably wouldn't be as much as a issue as it is now. Oh well, he would have time after this battle to remedy that issue. "I'll find a way to pay you back for catching me earlier." Kel said to Karina. As for the point blank firaga, he would be sure to find someway to make up later, but til the moment came, he turned his attention towards the behemoth.

As per his plan Beuce had went ahead and started to attack, using what spells he had at his disposal to counter the elements that Spectrum had, but in the end the lack of a thunder spell hindered him when it came to the water arm and while Beuce had managed to get free form the watery grasp of Spectrum, the rock leg had kicked him into the air. As Stratos went up to catch the falling Beuce, he also went into a magic spree, healing everyone as well as casting on the behemoths head. All that made him a clear candidate for some more MP. So by meeting the requirements of him for MP gift, 3 extra mp was given to Stratos. With that out of the way, he could deal some damage to the heartless. While the gear head may have been stopped, Kel didn't want a repeat of last time so decided not to go for the head in his attack. Instead he would go for the legs. He turned his attention to the earth leg. Despite not having an element that could easily take it down, brute strength could also damage the leg. The job might not be as good as it could be with magic, but whatever. It would be good enough.

He decided to take the easy way of closing the distance between them and used Zantetsuken, but first he got a running start. Once he was running at acceptable speed, he then used zantetsuken and under the cover of cherry blossoms dashed across the remaining distance between him and spectrum and cut through the rock leg. The attack had cut the rock leg deep as some shards of rock followed Kel to the other side of the behemoth. There was a decent size chunk of rock missing from the leg where Kel was strike, but it wasn't enough to destroy the leg. Least while the leg took its time to reform fully, someone else could either continue to attack the injured leg or strike somewhere else while the leg was reforming.

Karina hovered on her glider waiting for one of the two men to make their choice so she could get back in the air as soon as possible. The sooner she could get doing something the easier it would be to ignore the immense pain she was in at the time, or at least that was the theory. As long as she wasn't thinking about it, it wouldn't hurt too much. Karina was getting impatient as she waited, groaning once as the pain suddenly spread through her body for a moment before finally subsiding back to the normal amount, which wasn't pleasant either.

Before either Stratos or Kel made their decision Beuce started talking. It seemed that the entire time he seemed to be doing not much he was really formulating a plan. Or at least Karina would give him the benefit of the doubt that that was what he was doing not just getting extra rest then coming up with the plan on the spot. As Beuce listed off what each of them would be doing he called Karina's part one of the most important of all. She hoped that she could live up to it, after all she usually disappointed people more than she did them any good, on top of that she was not in top physical condition at the moment and it would take a lot of cure spells and rest to make her in peak condition once again. Either way this wouldn't stop her from trying. She would do her best to attack with as much strength as she could muster. She would not let her team down, she would not let their blood be on her hands, she would win this even if it meant giving her own life, but she had a deal to keep she wanted to know what Beuce meant, but for that she had to live.

Karina took a deep breath and dropped her hand off her stomach. She stepped off her glider and summoned her keyblade to her hand. "Okay, I'm ready." She said as she gulped slightly preparing her mind for what was to come now. She was doing her best to ignore the pain and keep moving, waiting for her time to do something. She gained MP from Kel and considered using it to cure herself, but she wasn't going to be in the heart of battle and taking all the hits, Beuce was. She had to save the mp to support her comrades even if she didn't like it. As long as she avoided being hit she should be fine. Or that was the theory. She didn't know if exhaust could take her out of the picture if not her injuries but she wouldn't let it if she had anything to say about it.

As Beuce had done his part it was time for Karina to step in and do hers. There where two limbs that where the most vulnerable at the time and she had to work on damaging them and getting out before she could take more damage. Running in She started slashing the leg of the behemoth first before she went for it's arm. Pain coursed through her body as she attacked but Karina didn't care. Having done her part she had to run seeing as the behemoth was now eyeing her. Quickly she turned to Beuce casting cure on him to make sure he could make it through the next round. She knew it wasn't her part to support but Stratos but she had to do something more than she was doing. She couldn't stand the thought of someone possibly dieing, the guilt would be too much for her to handle.

Beuce was frozen in time for several moments, but the next thing he knew, he slammed against a piece of metal and was floating in the air. He was sore, but alive. Looking at which keyblade glider he was on, he realized it was Stratos'. He owed that kid his life at least a dozen times over. Then again, they all owed each other that. Maybe that was what made a comrade what it was. You trust each other with your life so many times you stop keeping score. He gave a small chuckle at the thought before sitting up on the glider. Stratos called to him, telling him to use his keyblade however he deemed necessary. Wouldn't that leave him unarmed? I mean, sure it'd help fighting it, but he didn't want to take away Stratos' only means of defense. In the end, he decided to trust in Stratos' decision and use the keyblade for himself. He had regained some MP from Kel's MP gift, and he intended to use it well. Stratos had incapacitated the gears of its head, and that meant for the moment it couldn't use time magic. Now he could approach without fear of becoming frozen and vulnerable to attack.

Standing, he fully mounted the glider given to him by his friend and raced forward at Spectrum. The first thing he did was crash through the chest in a barrier of light. Spectrum howled in agony, turning around to counter. Its tusks sparked with electricity, and fired a massive bolt at its attacker. Beuce's increased mobility on his glider was enough to allow him to evade the attack, but the fire arm flared back into activity at a bad time. Hurling a fire ball at Beuce, Spectrum laughed, knowing it wouldn't miss. Beuce un-summoned the keyblade glider and dropped to the ground, just barely avoiding a direct hit, but still be seared by it. Landing with a roll, Beuce quickly spun to face the behemoth. Standing, he glared at the monster. The gears in its head once again started turning, the ice leg reformed, the hole in the darkness chest closed up, and the earth leg grew back into a solid mass. "For your sake, I hope you know what you're getting yourself into, Behemoth. You're looking at the Asmodian Army Governor! Magic isn't all i can do! When you combine magic and strength together, you get a destructive force like no other!" Beuce yelled with confidence, as though it were the behemoth backed into a corner rather than himself. "Haaaaaa!" He began to scream, summoning up the power of his heart, he began to radiate with a red glow. Grasping both of his keyblaes by the hilt, he bolted forward at incredible speed, leaving a red after image of him behind and slicing right through the behemoth. Almost instantaneously, he did so again, appearing beside the behemoth and leaving a gash on it. Again and again, faster and faster, he cut away at the behemoth, leaving crimson after images in the place where he stood. He ended the limit standing in front of the monstrosity, and immediately stomped his foot onto the ground, creating two layers of mines, totaling in sixteen.

Raising his hand, he clenched it into a fist and jerked it downward, casting gravity on its head and jerking it downward. This accomplished two things. First, it stopped the gears in its head once more because of gravity, and second, it drug the face toward the earth, where its tusks slammed against the ground and caused the mines to erupt in its face. This was the opportune moment for another wielder to strike and gain back their MP. Kel dashed over and struck the head with a long combo. Rising again after a few seconds, the Behemoth screamed in rage. Its fiery arm flared up, causing the heat of the fire to radiate to the area around it. Beuce nodded at his blue haired companion, indicating to prepare for the oncoming attack. A purple aura of gravity enveloped the demonic arm. "A combination magic?!" Beuce exclaimed. Fire and Gravity usually spelled one thing. Firaga burst. An enormous orb of flame built up in the palm of the behemoth, easily the size of all the wielders combined. Upon being hurled into the air, it spun around, spraying smaller versions of itself in every direction. With quick reaction time, Beuce raised both of his keyblades into the air and crossed them over his head. What seemed to be a miniature storm appeared in a sphere between the blades. on command, it expanded to cover the entire area in a great storm. Water poured down on them from above and wind beat against the area. Beuce was glad that he had disabled the use of its thunder magic, even if just for the moment.

The plan of theirs had managed to form into one that was entirely functional. It was at this point that he could see that the four of them had become an actual team to work together and defeat a common enemy. Not just four random people who were forced to work together, as they had somewhat been fighting like during this entire battle. Stratos observed the battle, as that was basically all he could do at this point as he was a dedicated support role at this point. He observed as Kel came in to attack the behemoth and take off a part of its earth leg. Despite his best efforts, though, the earth leg seemed to be completely unhindered as any and all damage that was done to it simply reformed. However, Karina still managed to follow up with an attack of her own, and managed to actually hurt the behemoth in its vulnerable parts. Next up was Beuce who went in, dual wielding, and unleashed something that looked familiar, in concept alone. It looked like something that was akin to Trip Around the Sun in terms of activation, and realized that it was probably a warrior limit.

Regardless, the behemoth seemed pretty pissed at all of them, and so it decided to start unleashing a rain of attacks on them. Combining space magic and fire magic, it created a large flame orb above itself. While the orb looked menacing enough, the actual attack was actually more so. The orb let loose a massive swarm of firagas at the group, each one randomly homing into someone else. Stratos, despite his position in the back, was no exception to this and realized something. He had no keyblade to defend against the attack. His only option right now was to run, and not get blasted to bits. He started to dodge roll away from the first, only for them to keep on track with him. While some hit the ground, knocking Stratos around with the resulting explosions, the grand majority of them that had locked on were still there. Thankfully, Beuce had cast a command that seemed to cause it to rain. The resulting rain seemed to dampen the fireballs, making them overall easier to avoid. In addition, it seemed to somewhat rust up the clockwork machine head. Well that was also useful to note. After managing to dodge the severely less terrifying firagas, he then tried to think of what to do next.

With this sort of command out, the fire aspect of the behemoth was probably much less worrisome now, though still needed to be dealt with. Then there was the lightning aspect, that would only be powered up by this rain, though it was, thankfully, disabled at the moment. They had most of the other elements covered right now, however there was one that stood out as a problem element. That water arm seemed to be the most terrifying aspect of it right now, as he didn't think that any of them had a single thing that could counter it. As the rain fell on him, he then had a sudden eureka moment. However, something like what he had just thought of was probably an all in measure, and nothing more. If it failed, after all, then it would probably not be something they could recover from. And so he decided to shout his plan out to his teammates. "Everyone! When the lightning tusks recover from that attack, don't disable them immediately. Instead, everyone use April Shower and hit it them hard with Gravity." The plan here was, essentially, to power up the lightning as far as it could go, and then use that to vaporize its arm. After all, out of all the fighters here, it was the only one that actually could use lightning magic.

The plan would also effectively get rid of the fire arm and the clock work head, but at the same time, there biggest problem would be dealing with the tusks after wards. The plan hinged basically on the Gravity that pulls it through the arm to pull it down towards the ground as well. If that worked, then it would basically be game over for those tusks as well, as they would be blown to bits from the mine squares. The next problem to deal with was the wind aspect, one that was pretty hard to even touch at all. However, he then thought of something else that just might end up working. "Beuce," he yelled out to his dual wielding comrade, "when you barrier surge into the behemoth next, just fire blizzard inside of it as well, that should be enough to dissipate the wind aspect of it." There were other aspects that had yet to be accounted for as well.

While Beuce could basically just do everything with his magic, it wasn't really unlimited and he couldn't be expected to handle everything at once as well. "Kel, you're in charge of the ice leg. It should go down pretty easily if you just hit it with fire strike." Now there were only three other aspects of it that needed to be dealt with. The space wasn't anything entirely physical, but it should still be able to be countered by something. Then there was also the light horn that wasn't entirely easy to deal with either. More so because of its position then anything else really. The final piece of it was the earth leg, one that also didn't seem to have a direct counter either. Dealing with space and light first though, Stratos called out to the last of his teammates. "Karina, while the two of them are attacking it individually just cast stop on it, that should be enough to stop the space aura. Then hit the horn hard with a poison edge." Then that just meant, "leave the earth leg up to me while you guys are doing that." Really, the only thing he could do was cast Aero on the leg, and hope that would cause some sort of problem to act up with it, though that was a bit of a gamble. Then again, so was everything else in this fight.

Just as Kel had expected to happen, the chunk of rock that Kel had knocked out of the leg had reformed. It was a simple matter of knocking it back out again, thought the problem with that was that Kel no longer had the element of surprise on his side anymore, so Spectrum had noticed him. First thing that the heartless did was to lift its rock foot into the air so that it would be harder for Kel to hit it. At first Kel had planed to leap into the air to strike it again, but again the behemoth had other plans. It reposition the foot so that it was hovering above Kel then it attempted to stomp on the blue hair wielder. Naturally he dodged the initial attack, but it didn't end there for the ice foot had lifted up moments after the other one had made contact with the ground. Thus beginning of cycle of dodging the foots that came into the air in a pattern. Left foot, right foot, repeat. To someone else it would look like the heartless was doing some kind of weird dance, but eventually Kel had managed to dodge out of the way of both feet and his timing couldn't have been anymore perfect.

Around the end of Kel's dodging session Beuce had started his own assault on the behemoth, which not only ended with him now wielding two keyblades, but as well as there was now two layers of mines before Spectrum. Kel had figured that it it would take some kind of force to get he behemoth to trigger the mines before and his figuring was correct for Beuce had cast gravity on the head of the behemoth, not only stopping the gears once more, but forcibly dragging it down onto the mine. Even if Spectrum's horns weren't currently in the ground, the cloud of smoke that formed due to all of the mines going off was enough cover for someone to move in for an attack. Kel was the one to fulfill that role. He still needed to keep his mp up so that the others could refill theirs when they needed it. So he ran through the cover of the smoke an brought the smack down on the on Spectrum's head. He managed to get in a few power hits before the behemoth eventually rose back to its feet. Next Spectrum seemed to have prepared a counter attack for the two of them, upon seeing how massive the attack that it was forming was, it could easily be used to handle all of them.

The released orbs of fire may have been smaller in size, but the number of them was many. So Kel dodged the first two by leaping back before turning to run. His plan was to hopefully out run them if not kite them back to the source. Granted he didn't get all that far before he felt some rain fall on him. He turned back to see that Beuce had summoned forth a storm. That not only lessen the time that the fireballs were around, but the ones already flying towards them were greatly slowed to the point where it took little effort to dodge. That was when Stratos had come along and gave his idea on how to deal with the behemoth. If his plans went worked out, then it would take care of the water arm, which seeing as how most of them had some way of taking care of the other elemental limbs, whould make things easier for him. Once that planw as agreed upon, Kel went ahead to attack the ice leg. Using fire strike, he swung with the exact same amount of force he used on the rock leg earlier. The difference between the two was that instead of shattering upon impact, the flames of his keyblade had cause it to burn through and form a clean cut through the leg. He them followed it up with more slices on the leg, hoping to deal enough damage to force it down onto its other leg.

Karina listened closely to Strat os's plan, well sort of listen. She barely listened to it because she was having trouble totally focusing on what was going on at the time. She had to put a lot of her focus on just the basics and fighting when she had an opening to. She did however catch that she was to cast stop then use poison edge. There goes the slight idea of using her mp to heal. In reality she probably wasn't going to go through with that idea, instead she would save it just in case, but now that little mp she had, she needed to do something else with it, and this time it wasn't healing someone else. This time it was giving her a chance to attack. She could use it to take down the now wavering behemoth. This time she would actually kill it and not leave it at two bp. That sucked. She hated herself for that one and she was punished dearly for that mistake. She nearly died for it and was now suffering. But not this time, this time she would actually kill it.

Karina stepped forward and pointed her keyblade at the behemoth, a stop spell prevented it from moving for a small amount of time. She ran up and started attacking. Like Stratos suggested she started with a poison edge. However Karina didn't stop here, she continued to attack using attacks such as barrier surge and vorpal blitz. By the end of these attacks Karina decided to go all out. A small golden red orb formed in her hand. It quickly expanded right before she threw it at the beast. The blast sent her back but the pressure was not enough to hurt her or go too far. Karina landed on the ground and stared at the now defeated behemoth. She probably went over the top killing the behemoth but she was done with them. She didn't want to deal with it any longer. That being said there where still more to be done, and someone else to show up.

Holding her stomach she slowly started to make her way to the other side of the area, south side. From what she could see they still had a fair amount of heartless to deal with and very few people actually doing anything. Karina's steps where slow but steady. She would get there and help... no she would get there just to show that she could beat Glen any day. She found a small amount of joy in her misery about this. She would get to show off her skills and hopefully not die in the process. Somehow however Karina needed to find the strength to keep going and not look weak, somehow. She didn't know how but she would. Perhaps another cure spell? No she didn't have the mp for that. It didn't matter anyways. She would work through the pain.

Karina got pretty close to the south side and decided she needed to make an entrance. She eyed a few angry behemoths and decided around there would be a good place to do something. She considered hitting all of them just because but knew even a single hit could take her out of the battle. So instead of that she decided to just attack one. Hopping on her glider she flew straight up in the air. Once high enough she summoned her keyblade out from under her and used vorpal blitz to come down on it's horn. Landing on the ground she turned to that group. "You need some help over here." Despite her best efforts to look collected and not injured but she soon groaned and gripped her stomach, but stood back up. She would be fine in theory.

Okay, so fuck the plan. None of it was worth anything and all. Why would it be? Why would all of them doing individual tasks and working together possibly be a thing that they would do? Whatever, gg Karina. She killed it like it was just some common other heartless, which it might as well have been. Regardless, they were done with north side. Both Karina and he now had two sides under their belt, and were completely finished with this north side. However, there was still a lot more that needed to be done. While the west side basically had everything under control and was going to finish pretty soon, South Side was a bit on the needing help. However, so was north side. After all, everyone here had basically been doing nothing but none stop fighting. And so these people, himself included, deserved a good deal of rest. However, despite this, he could only lay down for a momentary respite. Karina already seemed to be on the march to south side, so he couldn't just sit down and wait for the entire to fight subside. After catching his breath, he simply got up and then started to walk over.

However, before walking over, he remembered something. Something important. He didn't actually have a keyblade. After all, it was given to Beuce for the purpose of, ya know, teamwork. But who needed that? Stratos summoned the blade back to his hand and started to get flying away on it. Now on a keyglider, Stratos looked around and tried to think of what to fight. Well Karina seemed to be fighting with Glen, a guy he had talked to for maybe two sentences once before, and they were taking on...a behemoth. Nope. Stratos was not dealing with another fucking behemoth. That's all he had been dealing with this entire time, and he was basically done with it. Well, except until he had to go fight another behemoth, but hey, that was way down the line. And they'd probably just be able to take it out using their own individual strengths anyways because apparently no one knew anything about teamwork. Anyway, he started flying there and tried to eye up which heartless he should take on first. There were a few kind of heartless that looked familiar, though that didn't actually mean he wanted to take them on either.

There was first the assault riders, which were not really any sort of threat anymore since he knew exactly how he could fight them. Then there were the morning stars, which were probably a good source of ass kicking other heartless with. After all they were giant spike balls that could apparently just be flung at other heartless and kill them that way. The last two heartless were completely new though. There was this mushroom thing. It actually had this purple mushroom cap, and was just this sort of sliding around, since it didn't actually have any feet or anything. Then there was also this sort of heartless that was just some sort of giant tower thing, with a ball head at the base of the tower. But that wasn't nearly as interesting as the mushroom capped heartless. Flying down to them, he decided to start attacking with just his basic combo. After all, they were just a mushroom, how hard could it be to kill them? Apparently, very much so. When he struck at the heartless, the black fungus suddenly turned into some sort of silvery steel thing, and was completely immune to any damage. What. The. Fuck were they doing? They then sent out some sort of poison cloud, that Stratos backed off from. It was a good thing that he didn't need to type anymore, otherwise he would be hard pressed to find a way to kill them. But thankfully four of them just died.

It wasn't long after Kel had finished dealing with the ice leg that Karina had charged in and, in short, took her rage out on the behemoth. Fortunately that was all that was needed to defeat it, thus taking care of their side completely. There was a brief sigh of relief from Kel as he looked around, enjoying the lack of heartless around them. Now that there were two side all done with, it was now time for for to head over to another group and aid them. Karina was the first one to head over towards the south side of the library. Along the way Karina clearly looked injured, if the fact that she was holding her side wasn't a clear enough sign of that. It was also clear that she was trying to fight through or at least hide the pain, not that she was doing that well. When they had gotten within visual range of the south side, Karina went ahead and had made an entrance of her own. Flying into the air and attacking an behemoth from above is not something that an injured person should do, but her stubbornness/whatever else you wan to call it was impressive in both good and bad at times.

Kel on the other hand had just walked up to where Karina had landed. Why didn't he make an entrance you ask? Well that because of A. He didn't feel like it. He could just defeat the heartless in a showy manner anyway. And B. There probably wasn't enough time for him to set up everything that would be required if he were to make an entrance. Oh well, there was always next time or next side in this case. Turning his attention towards Karina, he went ahead and casted cure on her. "Not sure how much this'll will help considering I'm only slightly better than you in magic, but it should least mitigate some of the pain your feeling." Kel didn't expect her to be in any tip top form after a basic level healing spell, but as long as she wasn't trying to hide the physical pain that she was felling, then Kel would consider them even for her catching him in the air. The next thing that the blue haired wielder did was to look around and get a good look at what he would be dealing with now.

Behemoths, which would be dealt with last unless they attempted to attack him. Some Assault Riders, something he'd hadn't seen since Land of Dragons along with the Bolt Towers. A bunch of Black Fungus, which Stratos seem to be dealing with at the moment, and finally some Morning Stars. It wasn't anything too extreme, but ti was again going to be a tedious fight. So Kel decided to turn his attention towards the group of Morning Stars and take care of them first. Once they were done, then he would move on to the assault riders, provided that no one else had taken them out before he could. It didn't take long for the group of green spiked heartless to notice that Kel was approaching them and three of them responded by going into beyblade mode and spinning towards him. Taking into account the spikes on the side of the heartless, he was glad that there was enough space between them so that he could dodge one without having to worry about low dodging one and not have enough time to dodge the other one. After he'd dodged the three that had spun towards him, he noticed a spiked shadow overlapping his own. A familiar feeling came over Kel as he looked up to see the fourth Morning Star trying to crush him. If it were to succeed, then it would definitely be painful for Kel, but on the bright side he could actually block this time with his keyblade. By doing that, the Morning Star had bounced back into the air, granting Kel enough time to leap up after it and use it as a weapon against the other heartless. He bounced the Morning Star in his hands three times, each times it bounced off of another Morning Star. The fourth time he threw the heartless towards on of the Bolt Towers, injuring it and killing the Morning Star that was used as a weapon.

Ananta stood and turned her head towards Steel. The Behemoth that he was taking care of seemed to be concerned by the fact that another of it's kind has been defeated. Of course it should be concerned, anyone would be concerned if they had witnessed their own being killed right before their eyes. Especially when the attackers were so eager to jump on another and try to end it's life. Although, at the same time, Ananta saw that Steel had been thrown off by his Behemoth. She was really getting concerned about him and his well being. This entire battle he had pretty much kept to himself and done his own thing, while Ananta fought and did things in a simple manner. Taking care of the weaker enemies is something that's important, for sometimes, the weaker ones are much stronger in numbers compared to the stronger ones. There can be a single strong enemy on the front line that does less damage than the combined amount of smaller enemies. That is why Ananta chose to fight the smaller ones first. Steel, however, seemed to have just focused on whatever seemed to catch his eye at the time, ignoring all else.

Stepping lightly across the floor, trying not to be noticed by the Betonguemeth, Ananta made her way to the barrier and stood there. She looked at Steel and saw he had finished his little bit of fighting for now. He was now resting and watching what Kross and Ananta were doing. Instead of focusing on the Betonguemeth, Ananta decided to stand there and try to talk to Steel. "Steel?" she said, looking straight at him. "What's wrong? Why did you make this barrier? What did we do? What can we do to help you? What can we do to not have this happen again and make your life easier?" she asked him, giving him a moment to answer before continuing herself. "We really want to help you. We're all your comrades. But I'm your friend. Honestly, I think you were my first friend, even if I didn't know it Steel. Ever since I saw what was under your scarf, I couldn't stop thinking about how bad you had to have been hurt by suddenly taking on an appearance like that. How much it must have hurt being so different than everyone else around you." she said, looking down. "I know how it feels. All my life, I've been pushed away by people. Even my own parents fought because of how different I looked compared to them. But, I had one person in my life help me. I can't remember what they were to me, but they helped me." she spoke, feeling tears in her eyes. "But, now I can't even remember them...." she shook, her fingers gripping the barrier.

From behind, the Betonguemeth had finally decided to attack Ananta. It's tongue was launched at her and quickly surrounded her torso. Ananta freaked out, grabbing at the barrier and trying not to get pulled away. In a last ditch effort, she stabbed her keyblade in the barrier and anchored herself for one last thing. "But Steel! It doesn't matter if we're different! We're still people! We can be ourselves around everyone and feel solace in not having to hide! Please, be my friend Steel!" she called out, yanking her keyblade from the barrier and turning towards the Betonguemeth. As she was pulled back, Ananta swung her keyblade down and chopped the tongue off. She flew towards the Betonguemeth and landed on it's head, attacking it's horn while she gave Steel space.

Karina knew the others where mad at her, and why? Because she only knew how to do her part. She wasn't good at waiting or planning. Karina simply did what she thought she was supposed to, when she thought she was supposed to, sure she may have done a little more than that but that was because there was still an opening to do so, nothing more. It wasn't because she was writing off their teamwork or anything. She didn't mean for that to happen and she didn't mean for anyone to get upset over it. Karina felt horrible about herself, she practically could feel the anger radiating off Stratos before she walked away, and on south side he wouldn't go anywhere near here or say anything. Perhaps it was because of the Behemoths perhaps it was her. She understood why Stratos wouldn't want to go near one of them, she didn't blame him. But with the amount that where aggroed around them right now she had to do something to help clear them out, even if on her own and in her injured state. She would do everything in her ability to finish off the heartless here and try to make up for north side. Karina looked around at the heartless around them, it would be interesting to try to take them all out. An idea came to mind, dividing each round of damage between all five of them, but drawing that much aggro would be dangerous and she could barely stand not holding her aching stomach at this time. So the other option was focus one at a time and hope that the other people who where just kind of standing around on the south side wouldn't be murdered in the mean time. Although that didn't seem idea it was what had to happen.

Before Karina could make a move Kel approached behind her. "You here to lecture me on teamwork or some crap like that." Words where think on her tongue as she spat them out, not turning to face Kel but looking away at the ground. She slowly dropped her hand back down from her stomach, she doubted Kel was naive enough not to notice her injuries but she somewhat hoped her didn't. She didn't want to be the weak one that needed help, she would keep pushing through. Instead of replying to her comment about lecturing her he did indeed cure her and commented on it not being that powerful due to him like her not having much magic. But it did do as he said and mitigate some of the pain, not all of it but enough that every time Karina moved she didn't want to keel over and curl up gripping her stomach. She had been good at hiding how painful it really was thus far but it was getting harder and harder as the time went on. After all a dark firaga from point blank wasn't going to do nothing to her, she just tried to pretend it didn't. "Oh. uh thanks." She muttered still not looking up at Kel.

Karina's eyes lifted only slightly from the ground to look at her keyblade she was holding. What was she doing just standing here when she needed to be fighting? Kel had already run off to start fighting some of the smaller heartless himself leaving Karina with the behemoths. She looked at all of them around her then to the others. She could easily go over and help them first, but she considered this, fighting the behemoths herself as sort of a punishment for her selfishness on north side. First fighting the smaller heartless herself and making the others have to deal with the behemoths, Stratos having to do it once alone. As well as the way she finished off the last behemoth, seeming to neglect team work. This is what she got for that. No one here would really be strict and punish her for her actions like there was always someone to on her home world, so she just had to punish herself. She deserved it after all. Running at the behemoth on the lowest health Karina started her string off attacks on it. Her attacks where powerful and focused like they where when she was in a good mood to be fighting. But looking at her she looked like she had lost all hope. Her eyes empty and sad only ever focusing on the behemoth or her keyblade. When she landed from her attacks she just looked down at the ground for a moment collecting herself, preparing herself for her next set of attacks.

Stratos was utterly baffled and annoyed at these stupid mushroom heartless. There was something extremely aggravating with just about every thing that the black fungus did. It looked pretty harmless, sure, but that just hid an interior of pure, unadulterated evil. Then there was also the fact that, vitality wise, they were pretty weak in that regard as well. However behind that pitiful hp stat, there lied a defense stat that put all other keyblade wielders to shame, and the ability to just because invincible because why not? It was actually starting to become rather annoying and down right stupid to fight these things. He swung at them once with his keyblade, hit them, and then poof, they just sort of became invincible. Not just that, they also let out this stupidly large and deadly poisonous gas cloud. Like, just what was this thing anyway? Stratos continued to think of a way to fight them more efficiently, when he realized that he probably could deal with them more easily than how it was now if he decided to actually use magic. However, MP was a precious and hot commodity around here, and he couldn't be bothered to take any of his support power away from everyone else just because he was getting pissed off at a heartless.

Speaking of things in limited quantities, Stratos remembered something. He had given his keyblade to Beuce, and then took it back after all the fighting with Spectrum was done. However, Beuce had given him something himself. Taking them out of his pocket, he saw that he still had the hi-potion and hi-ether in his position, and was wondering what he should do with them. Beuce was too far a walk for him to actually walk back and then give it back to him. Ah, he'd probably just give them back at the end of the match. He then just decided to scan around and look at what everyone else was doing. After all, fighting black fungus was about as exciting as watching Cho'Gath jungle. First he saw that Kel had arrived onto the scene and decided to start fighting some of the morning stars himself. Seemingly using them as a weapon, because they were basically good for just that, he watched as he managed to kill two of them and then moved onto a bolt tower. Looking over to Karina he saw that- what was she doing?

The thing in question was her. Attacking a behemoth. By herself. Sure if she were in top condition it probably wouldn't be a big deal, but she was like, half dead basically. It was clear in how she carried herself. However, since she seemed to want to do this by herself and as she didn't appear to be fighting it like a stupid emotionally crazed person, he was fine with it for the time being. Though that didn't stop him from casting cure and aero on her. Could never be too careful with these behemoths really. He then decided that Kel was probably worse for wear as well and cast cure on him as well. Well that was good, he was out of mp again. Ace management there Stratos. Anyway, there was still the mushrooms in front of him to deal with. And deal with them he would, but like, all in good time. Since he basically stood there, right next to a black fungus. The adorable little thing was just standing there, with Stratos, with a bored expression on his face, just whacking it over the head repeatedly with his keyblade. It was then that that one just exploded into black smoke, and then like, a few others followed just dying out of nowhere. Man he was glad that BP did that sometimes, otherwise this would be even more boring than it already was.

Thoughts raced through Ananta's mind as she started to think about what she could do to try and get rid of that pesky barrier. If Steel wasn't going to get rid of it, Ananta would do the job. She could tear the barrier apart with her bare hands, breaking it and leaving a huge opening in it. Or she could cast Stop, then throw a bunch of butter knives at the barrier, and then use a steamroller to crash through and possibly do some damage to that Behemoth he's fighting. There were quite a few possibilities that came across her mind. Soon enough, Ananta would have to make up her mind, because this Betonguemoth was going to go down regardless of what Steel wanted. Putting a barrier up was just plain rude in the first place. Counting in her head, Ananta found that after these next attacks on the Betonguemoth, she'd probably need to do it about five more times to really get a chance at breaking the barrier. But that was if Kross didn't help her fight the Betonguemoth. It also depended on Steel and if he'd listen to her words from before and come out of that barrier. Things were quite frustrating at the moment.

Looking down, Ananta saw that the Betonguemoth had regrown it's tongue by now and she knew that she had to get away or suffer it's gross tongue being wrapped around her again. That was a feeling she wasn't ready to feel yet, so she turned around and began to slide down the Betonguemoth's back. She slid right off the Betonguemoth, not even turning around to see if the tongue had been following her. With a roll on the floor, Ananta stood back up and bounced in place, taking a look at the huge heartless. Deciding on a battle plan, she ran underneath the Betonguemoth and ran her keyblade from one end to the other, leaving a long mark down the underside of the Betonguemoth. Once she made it to the other end, she turned around and dodged the tongue as it tried to grab her once again. Left, right, jump, slide, and twirl. She made her way and noticed that the tongue got stuck on the ground. Jumping up, Ananta held her keyblade in position to cut the tongue off again and land on the Betonguemoth's head. When she landed on top, she then began to pelt the Betonguemoth's middle horn with her keyblade, leaving large nicks and scratches in the horn.

With her attack leaving the Betonguemoth bewildered for the time being, Ananta decided to try and see what she can do to get this barrier broken. Jumping off the Betonguemoth and landing a fair bit away from the heartless, Ananta walked up to the barrier and pressed her hands against it. Her fingers tingled from the electric feeling that the barrier had. Shaking slightly, Ananta felt the hair stand on the back of her neck and proceeded to shiver. "Ooooh, this barrier is so dumb!" she huffed, kicking it. As her foot came in contact with the solid barrier, she felt her entire body shake from the impact. Jumping on one leg and holding her foot, she felt pain from this impact. "Grrrrr!" she grew angry, thumping her hands against the barrier and seeing if simply hitting it a few times would make it crack or tremble. So far, that didn't seem to the working. "Hmph." she gave up, sitting down and crossing her arms and legs, closing her eyes to try and think. Unbeknownst to Ananta, the Betonguemoth was ready to strike.

Millions of thoughts raced through Kross's head, they were in the middle of a huge battle and Steel was throwing a silent fit...their team didn't need anything like this. Steel could fight alone if he wanted to and Kross would heal him, but if Steel wanted to fight alone, he'd have to suffer the consequential part of getting hurt with nothing Ananta and Kross could help with. Ananta's actions made him grit his teeth a little, a growing pang of jealousy made his judgement slightly falter for a second, and that was what it took. The behemoth with the huge tongue emerged from its dazed state, tongue regenerated and ready to lash out at the nearest keyslinger, which happened to be Ananta. Kross's honey brown eyes widened, it was like a slow motion sequence, he didn't know how fast his legs carried him but it must have been very fast. The tongue was so close to striking Ananta.."No!" He shouted out, not again..he wasn't going to let anyone get hurt again. He bounded forward, his muscles burned with protest as his shoulder slammed into Ananta's side, shoving her out of the way. At least she would be safe..and Kross's world flashed white for a second as his back tensed with pain, the tongue struck him and struck him hard. He went sailing through the air and felt his back hit the wall. His eyes widened as his body seared with pain, letting out a pained cry before he dropped to the ground in a heap, his world blacking out for a few minutes.

Stratos was now just standing there, not even sure how to fight these things any more. He didn't really have an easy out again something that made itself invincible after a just getting hit a few times. After all, he was relying on his strength to do this, which he had none of. Perhaps he could wait for one of the stronger people to come in and stop the heartless. Well, it wasn't like he was even doing anything much against them. There was just something demotivating and self confidence hurting about not being able to kill some mushroom thing. Well, there was probably a way to kill them all at once. Well probably two. However, Stratos didn't exactly feel like relying on those to deal with everything. During this fight, he realized all he had been doing, in terms of damaging things, was using Zantetsuken and Trip Around the Sun. Both of which were stupidly powerful techniques allowed him to deal with just about any heartless. However, relying on either of these techniques didn't make Stratos strong at all. He had watched everyone else fight thus far, and they didn't need to do some pretty gimmicky technique to win against things. They just had their own strength to bring things down with.

Nevertheless, he still had to do something about these heartless, and doubting his own strength was not something that was going to help finish it any faster. He took in a deep breath and exhaled as he looked at all of the remaining Black Fungus heartless. He needed to kill them all as fast as possible so that he could help the others out in dealing with their heartless. It was then that cherry blossoms began to rain from the sky as Stratos took an iaido stance with his keyblade. As he continued to look at the heartless, he saw just where exactly to cut with his command. The only problem right now, was that one of them was still in an invincible state, though, that wouldn't last forever. He looked as the silvery mushroom was walking around, not much of a care within the world as these heartless had displayed thus far. As he continued to watch, the silvery coat around it had finally fallen, and Stratos was able to go in for the kill. Disappearing in an instant, he had reappeared past the rest of the heartless, with his arm and blade stretched out.

There was a large slash mark that had appeared across all of the other heartless, all of which were seemingly frozen for a brief period of time. It was then that the five heartless had just exploded into a puff of black smoke, never to be seen again. Stratos looked as the hearts floated to the sky and wondered why things were like this. He had always assumed, even before his journey had begun, that he was weak for someone who was chosen by some sort of weird mystical weapon. However, he never thought the difference in all of their strengths would be this great. He looked onward at everything everyone was fighting, and wondered what he should try and do next. Now with all the mushroom heartless dead he could either aid Kel or Karina in their sort of expeditions. Granted, he wasn't entirely sure of interfering with Karina's fight anymore than he had, seeing as he had no idea how she would take that. She didn't really seem to have a consistent attitude for more than a few posts after all. Then there were the bolt towers that Kel was dealing with. Perhaps he could help him out with tho- ow. Sliding across the ground from the impact, Stratos looked up to see that an assault rider had knocked into him, basically challenging him to a fight. Well, guess this is what Stratos had to deal with next.

Steel listened in silence as Ananta began shouting to him from her position. She was wondering why he had made the barrier, what they did wrong, what she could do to help... and he honestly didn't know the answer to most of her questions. Sure; he knew why he threw up the barrier... for the most part. It wasn't really that any of them had done anything particularly wrong to him, he was just... it was hard to work out. The hardest person to know is yourself, after all. He scoffed at the thought: He knew more of what was wrong than he was willing to admit. If nothing else, Ananta was trying to reach out to him and apologize; which was a matter he couldn't simply leave un-addressed. "It wasn't really something that any of you did..." It was what they hadn't done that had hurt him. The pain in that thought hung in silence as he clutched his clawed hand over where his heart should be. She was saying that they were friends; that it was okay to be different and that he didn't have to hide for such reasons. She was right of course; but he wasn't necessarily hiding anything from the others on the basis that he was different. Quite the opposite, actually.

Suddenly the Screamarch reared up, causing Steel to stumble back and nearly fall off. He regained his footing however, and leaped from the creatures back to far above its head. He turned in midair and summoned his keyblades to his hands, pointing them downward as he fell. He plummeted towards the Behemoths' face, stabbing both swords into its eyes. Using the momentum, Steel brought the Screamarch's head down to the ground with him. He then took the split second of momentum that was left to anchor himself to the ground as he flipped it over his head and onto its back. He shied away from its horns and tusk as it struggled, taking a moment to look at what Ananta and Kross were doing.

He deadpanned as Ananta attempted to break the barrier; maybe he shouldn't try to explain anything to them after all. He gaped for a second as the Betoungemeth prepared to attack Ananta, hand raised and voice prepared to shout out in warning. Before he could do anything however, Kross pushed her out of the way. He was hit pretty hard and sent flying across the library. Steel glared at the Betoungemeth. He backflipped into the air and landed on the Screamarch's chest; once again, keyblades pointed downwards. While the Screamarch was taking damage from his keyblades, he pulled out a Hi-potion from his cloak. He then tossed it in Ananta's direction, watching as it passed harmlessly through the barrier. "I promise we'll talk about this all later." He shouted to her. "The barrier will dissipate when I defeat my enemy, or you defeat yours; whichever comes first." He left out that in the latter scenario the light itself would remain: it was there for a reason after all. "For now, get that Hi-Potion to Kross!" He turned back to the Screamarch and grabbed onto his keyblades. He dragged them by the hilt through the creature's chest in an X formation.
