It was almost like a pig pile. Those fun pileup games kids do when they are younger to try and crush the unfortunate soul who is at the bottom of the pile. Usually not a malicious attempt just playful torture that all kids go through and accept. However this was no game, and Kaida did not want to be at the bottom of this pile. For she had about six heartless on top of her trying to kill her. A couple were scratching at her but the rest for whatever reason were pinning her down, and this sure as heck was not a strategy she had seen from heartless before. Let alone soldiers who tended to stay in the same position most of the time.

Kaida moved her arm to try and swing her keyblade at them, even if she ended up hitting herself, as long as she could get herself free. However when she tried to swing, two of the soldiers jumped at her arm and she felt in serious pain after that. Kaida let out an annoyed noise before taking a deep breath and shouting at the top of her lungs, "Take your stinking claws off of me you darn dirty soldiers!"

Almost as if they obeyed, they backed off and Kaida stared in amazement. She placed her hand up to her chest in shock and spoke, "Oh wow... wait... that actually worked? Uh..." in her bafflement she almost allowed them to pile on top of her again. Kaida swung at them full force and knocked back three of them. However at the same time she had defeated three of them. So in one swing she managed to stagger three soldiers back, and still defeat the other six. She was halfway there and living on a prayer.

Kaida watched the three disappear into in darkness and move around and she suddenly felt angry, "Hey! No cheating! I can not do that!"

The soldiers did not listen to her, and instead she felt hands come out of the ground and grab her legs, she struggled and swung her keyblade at one of her legs to knock away the hand, but the hand disappeared just before she made contact and Kaida hit her own knee and let out a whale of agony as she collapsed to the ground.

It was then that she realized she somehow summoned a whale. Not a real whale but a carving she once made of a whale as a joke when someone mentioned a "whale of agony" when they meant to say "a wail of agony". She chuckled at the memory before she let out a literal wail of agony. The three solders began attacking her all at once and she was helpless to defend them. She went into a state where everything felt slow motion, but she could not dodge the attacks because she was, again, helpless to defend herself. She watched their claws tear at her and she let out a grunt every time it happened. She scrunched up her face as she tried to stand up, even though her knee was giving her a heck of a problem. Finally, she used cure on herself one last time and dodge rolled herself out of the way. She turned back around and got back into a battle stance and she threw her keyblade at the three heartless. It moved around almost like a boomerang. It hit all three of them and came back towards her. She caught it and did yet another sliding dash as she let out a stereotypical anime attack yell. She slashed across them with full force, destroying all three of them in a single swing. Realizing the coast was clear, Kaida summoned away her keyblade and began to survey the area once more.

It looked like the rest of the Air Knockers were taken care of, and that was a good thing because Kross was beginning to get tired of the small fries. The Behemoths were waiting to attack, thankfully they had somewhat more restraint than these small ones. He gripped his keyblade and saw Ananta get knocked back by one of the Air Knockers she had knocked back. He pointed his Keyblade up and then aimed it at Ananta, one good deed deserves another.A green light surrounded Kross and soon the green light seeped into Ananta, a healing warmth spreading through her."You healed me, so I'm going to heal you in return, Ananta!" He exclaimed. They needed each other. He knew Steel could hold out and in no way he would underestimate Ananta's strength either. He turned his eyes on the Air Battlers now. He took his stance again and held his hand out."Ananta, you ready?"He asked her. He already knew the answer, so he charged. One of the Air Battlers charged right at Kross, trying to attack him. He nimbly bounded up, right above the air battler and stomped on his head a couple of times before bounding off, aiming for a higher one. He swung, his free hand behind him to counterbalance himself in mid air and split the Heartless down the middle. He shifted his weight to turn in mid air in time to see the one he off of earlier charging at him. He swung his keyblade up and guarded against the attack, flying back. He back flipped in mid air, reorienting himself and pointed his keyblade at the offending Heartless." Freeze! " he exclaimed, sending a sharpened shaft of ice at the heartless, impaling it and instantly killing it. He dropped to the ground and slid back, retaking his stance. This was tough but they were making solid progress. The others were doing well too, so he wasn't planning to give up anytime soon. He charged at the group of Heartless."Haaa!"

It was time to go and fight a bunch more heartless than before. That's right, he was now going to go on a tear and kill a whole bunch of heartless. Which heartless? Why, the lance knights of course. They had gone too not dead for too long. And Stratos was about to change that. Just look at those doofy little heartless. It was pretty lanky looking and seemed to be covered in some sort of bronze armor. Then there was the lance itself. That thing was just some giant black cone, with like a mouth on it. Heck, Stratos could even see some eyes on it. It was almost as if the lance itself was alive. Okay, so they didn't seem too hard to bring down, seeing as they couldn't even keep track of their own lance. Stratos watched as the goofy armored heartless continued chasing after their own lance which seemed to be just running away. Well, this was certainly going to be a weird fight. Nevertheless, he was going to have to deal with them the best to his ability, otherwise, he was going to probably get killed from his own overconfidence. And Stratos couldn't dare to be overconfident as he didn't have much to be over confident about.

As Stratos was about to begin his own little onslaught on the heartless, he suddenly felt that the surge of energy he had, the adrenaline rush so to speak, had worn off. Well that was a little annoying. Now he couldn't kill twice the heartless that were here. So he'd just have to live with that, twas the price one paid when they played a game for about eight hours straight rather than posting. Anyway, the lance soldiers had decided that they wanted to take the initative and attack, and so Stratos could only go on the defensive from the get go. One lance soldier began the fight by charging at him with his lance, though looking like it was being dragged along by the weapon rather than actually attacking it with it. Stratos was able to dodge roll to the side, getting away from the attack, only for another lance soldier to start flailing about. With lance in hand, it looked like it was trying to slice Stratos up, rather than actually use the weapon as a lance. Parrying the blow away, by just striking at it with his own keyblade, Stratos could now go on the offensive.

Quickly striking back at the heartless, he initiated a ground combo, and hit the single lance knight three times with it. After the third hit landed, he turned his body and a different lance soldier away with the combo finisher. After that, he had to think fast, as another lance knight dove at him. He quickly put up his keyblade to block the incoming strike, and after parrying it away, he was good to continue his fight. Attacking the next one a few more times with his regular combo, Stratos saw the distant threat approach him. It was another god damn zip slasher. While it did look different, Stratos wasn't really going to pay attention to it as it charge him, blade arms at the ready. It was then that Stratos had to start dodge rolling like a madman, as lance soldiers were flailing and diving at him from every which direction. After doing that, Stratos brought up his guard and stopped the blades from the zip slasher from connecting with him. He quickly struck back, hitting it with a full combo and slamming it away. He then proceeded to do a bunch more attacks and ended up beating the heartless back. This was going to be interesting.

ina awoke in haze with a familiar warmth filled her. She had expected to find herself at home, cozy in bed, soon to hear her dad yelling fir her, but that wasn't what she heard. The sounds around her where different, almost confusing for Karina at first, not sure what was going on. The realization of reality hit her like a freight train as everything that had happened suddenly came back to her. And it wasn't that she didn't remember, but upon first awakening they seemed like a distant dream. She didn't know whether to find that fortunate or not. Given the current circumstances she was starting to think not at this point. Karina slowly rose to her feet looking around for the angelic behemoth that she was fighting before, it was gone, killed most likely by Stratos along with many other heartless. "Looks like the rumours are true.... Angels do always beat demons. So much for proving that wrong." Karina was almost embarrassed that she had lost to that thing. It had not only taken her down but full on knocked her out. The feeling she had if extra strength before was gone as well. It seemed things where just going down hill now. Stratos had done a good job of dealing with the heartless biut there were still many more that had to be dealt with.

Running to her comrades side Karina looked at him fighting. She almost envied him. She was stringer by far but he seemed more well rounded and most of all happier, despite this entire mess they where in. It wasn't a care free happiness or a manic one, just almost like contentment. He was content with his life and he would do what he could to keep his life in a state it was in. And with that came not losing any of his comrades, protecting her to keep her alive and keep some sort of constant on his life. This of course was all speculation from Karina, but it was what she thought she saw in the boy.

It seemed that Stratos had a lot of heartless on his plate again. Not as many as before but more difficult ones. After only just awakening after being knocked out Karina decided the best place to start was with helping Stratos instead of taking on a horde of her own. Jumping onto action Karina started to go after the three Lance Soldiers that where near by. "Thought you could use some help." Karina said to Stratos despite her back being turned to him. Not long after that comment she started to fight off the three Lance Soldiers making quick work of all of then. Now what to use the last of her BP on? With only nine points left she decided to pour all of them into the zip slasher ahead of them. After all those things where annoying to deal with so Karina wouldn't let Stratos take it alone. That would just be mean. Those things where dicks, and not nice. She didn't like them and was not going to let Stratos handle it alone. Karina charged forward intercepting an attack that the zip slasher was going to perform on Stratos before fighting it back. She used barrier surge followed by an aerial slam before she herself was forced to back up due to not being at full one hundred percent strength after everything that had happened and being knocked out and all. It wasn't fun you know. She had missed alot because of it, you couldn't expect it to be at full power.

Stratos was continuing his sort of oddball fight against the zip slasher and lance soldiers. The zip slasher, first and foremost, was one large threat as it had some sort of oddity to it. It was more lightly blue than the rest of the zip slashers. Furthermore, this one had more jagged blades, ones that seemed to be more lightish blue, a cyan color really, with the air around it being slightly visible. Not to mention that the entire area around it seemed to be more chilled and and if he were to get hit by one of those blades it'd like...rip through him. With that, Stratos decided to name this one a chill ripper. Okay, so Chill Ripper Zip Slasher that needed to be fought now. Stratos was starting to think that this one might actually have a weakness to fire, given that it was clearly ice element, but he wasn't going to risk it. After all, magic was a precious commodity and stuff. Well, not nearly as precious as it is in the game these things come from, but hey, still a finite resource being used here.

As Stratos was about to go fight some more, his attention was drawn by like, someone going super saiyan for like a third time. Only it wasn't actually going ssj, no, it was instead, Beuce. He looked way different and he actually had a sword now. Well that looked weird. He seemed to be going on some sort of actual tear, ripping heartless apart with that blade of his and attacks that he couldn't even comprehend. Usually when Stratos saw a command he could understand it, and think to mimic in some way. It's what he did with Vorpal Blitz, copying it from Karina and even weird spells like summons, like Dumbo which he took from Beuce. But these were something that he couldn't even begin to comprehend. His attention was then turned back to the fight as Karina came back in and started tearing heartless apart herself. Stratos watched as she murdered the three lance soldier heartless and was somewhat in admiration of her strength. Sure, she was a manic depressive who seemed to have terrible mood swings, but when she was fighting, she had enough strength to really just depend on herself. Stratos didn't entirely have that luxury ever, and so he had to keep depending on people to do things for him. Even with as much work as he was putting in to this fight, he felt as though that he would've died a long time ago. Like he wouldn't be able to do even half the work he himself has put in here without her. And so he was pretty thankful to have her here in this fight with him.

Regardless, it was his turn to bring on the pain against the chill ripper and lance soldiers, and so no heartless was going to be safe from his onslaught of attacks. Well, none of them were going to die, but none were going to be safe either. Lances soldiers started piling over at him, three coming to spear him in all at the same time. Dodge rolling to the side, he managed to evade the attacks and then quickly retaliated at all three of them with a vorpal blitz. While he had evenly distributed the damage between the three, it still knocked them away and the chill ripper was still left to get hit. So, Stratos came at the heartless with all of his might and started laying into it with ground combos in an attempt to weaken it. Afterwards, because she was still shaky from the last fight, he cast cure on Karina to help her get back on her feet again.

Ananta felt the warmth of Cure magic washing over her. It was getting to be familiar and often times she almost wanted to go to sleep with this warmth. For the moment, she had to resist such urges and continue fighting. Looking over to see Kross offering a hand to her, Ananta shrugged it off and rolled over onto her side, curling up. Her stomach growled and begged for food right now. Unfortunately that wasn't going to happen so long as Ananta had to fight. "There is one thing I can do, but I'm gonna have to be really lucky that a heartless doesn't come by and attack me, or I'll be left with an empty stomach again..." she sighed, sitting up. "Let's hope this works." she said, reaching into her jacket. She yanked out a cloth that seemed small, but as she pulled it out, it grew large and spread out in front of her as food appeared on the cloth. "Break Time!" she said, sitting down and grabbing a chicken whole. Ananta began to engorge herself, filling her stomach with various foods from succulent meats to crisp veggies. She finished it all off with a large milkshake that was sweetened with cocoa. The food disappeared shortly after, once Ananta was full enough, so she flopped back and patted her stomach. "I live for food." she sighed, rolling backwards and standing up. Grabbing the corner of the cloth, she stuffed it back into her jacket.

Far above, an Air Battler was swooshing about with it's friend. As Ananta had finished her food, they swept down and grabbed her together, carrying her around. "Oh god, not again, not again!" she said, summoning her keyblade. Ananta spun around and fell to the ground, landing on her feet, swaying. "Never again, I know what happens!" she yelled at the heartless. One of them managed to sneak an attack on Ananta as she straightened herself out. She retaliated with her own fury of attacks, ending it with a big fire blast to the face of the heartless. It zipped off in a flame that soon caused it to disappear, leaving her to deal with it's friend.

The Air Battler charged head on, leaving Ananta little time to react other than ducking down to dodge it. "These things hit pretty hard. Not as hard as the wyvern ones though." she commented, When the Air Battler came in for another attack, Ananta used an ice spell to freeze it's wing and go in for an attack. She managed to cause it to disappear shortly after, scoffing at how easy that one was. "Hope they aren't all pushovers, or else this'll be pretty boring." she yawned. "Hm, now to get another heartless' attention." she said, looking around. High above, she saw an Air Battler. So she decided to try and do exactly what Rain did earlier. Tossing her keyblade up, she watched as it hit an Air Battler, but continue to soar up. It eventually fell back down on the same Air Battler, taking it back to Ananta with it. Jumping out of the way, she saw the heartless get stabbed into the ground, disappearing. It screeched out, just like a heartless earlier did.

Covering her ears, Ananta saw an Air Battler come down to get revenge. Smirking, Ananta let it grab her hand. It didn't grab her left hand, unfortunately for it, so she let it carry her to the Behemoth. As they approached, she gripped the heartless and did a somersault in midair, spinning and stabbing the Air Battler on the Behemoth's horn. "And for good measure!" she yelled, performing a combo on the Behemoth's horn.

Dumbo swerved low, amongst the ground heartless on the east side, trailing the pool of heartless behind them. He had to stall them as they were long enough for him to let the elephant consume enough peanut ammo for the rapid fire to annihilate as many of them as they could. Hikaru steered the flying summon by tugging ever so slightly against both sides of his head, and pushed up to go higher, and down to descend. He had gotten enough experience riding him, that he had created a good system for them to get smooth sailings. Ever since they met in Dumbo's homeworld, Hikaru was glad to have seen the little guy make a name for himself, and get the boost of confidence he needed to make it in the world. Hikaru could only hope to learn from that as he would help his allies take down the heartless.

Dumbo had finished the peanut bag, and nodded his head to signal he was all set. "All right then, let's do a 180!" he said putting the wrapper in his pocket. Dumbo arched an eyebrow, not fully understanding what that meant. "Oh, I mean... turn around please!" Understanding now, he drifted along the air and loosened his ears as to slow down from the draft. "Now!" Hikaru cried out, watching the storm of peanuts befall onto the heartless.

The time while Dumbo was providing cover fire, Hikaru was directing him left and right while remaining at a stationary altitude as to help him dodge any fire, ice, or thunder attacks. The heartless themselves, aligned in a way that showed the quick firing nocturnes in the front, ice sniping rhapsody in the middle, and thunder striking operas in the rear. Dumbo had let loose his fire onto the nocturnes like canon fodder, as they dispersed within seconds and had their hearts released into the sky. Looking at all the nocturnes now defeating, there were still twenty five or so left, trying to slow them down. But for now all the nocturnes were gone, which was their biggest threat as rhapsodies could only fire within closer ranges, and operas had lower accuracy.

By the time Dumbo stopped firing, another four rhapsodies had been defeated, leaving only tewnty two remaining. "One more outta do it." Hikaru lifted up against his head for them to head back to the North side and trail the rhapsodies and operas back to the head of the building, so he could see how the rest of his group was doing. He ripped open another bag and put them under Dumbo's trunk to get him to reload just one more time.

Honestly, Beuce was wondering what this form was. It had appeared out of nowhere and granted him immeasurable power. The heartless that fought against him had been easily decimated, as though they were insects trying to fight a giant. Could it be some outside force granting him this power? No...It felt like it was coming from inside him. If not given to him, then what unlocked this form? Maybe...It was an effect of his keyblade. After all, they could transform to suit their wielders style of fighting and needs at the time. Who was to say that they couldn't change the wielder as well? There was some food for thought. The long black sword which was his keyblade shone in his hand, the light glimmering off it. He could tell that it was in actuality very heavy, yet it seemed light as a feather. Was he really that strong in this form? Either way, he was powerful. And that was all that mattered right now, in this fight. If they could defeat the heartless, they could get through the mirror. He turned to the broken heartless which he had punched into the ground earlier and extended his hand. "Fira!"

He called out the spell, but he felt no heat emerging from the palm of his hand. "Fira!" He called once more. Again, nothing. He could feel that he wasn't out of Mana, the fuel for magical abilities. Instead, the spell just wasn't working. Maybe it had something to do with his newest power. Warriors and Mystics were often considered to be polar opposites, so he was somewhat of a black sheep by being extremely proficient in both. If his keyblade was indeed drawing out a persona of his abilities, then it was utilizing his raw physical strength. In doing so, it seemed his magical prowess was all but lost on him. If this was the power he obtained from it, that was a small price to pay. Although he did hope it wasn't permanent. The book master was getting up from his punch. It was time to test how powerful this form really was. He gathered up energy in his arm which held the blade and poised it for a downward stabbing motion. He could feel massive physical strength welling up inside him, finally, with a sweep of his sword, he struck the ground and all of his power burst outward from the blade.

The energy which gave him his physical strength appeared to be a dark crimson in color. The second the blade made contact with the ground, all hell broke loose upon the unfortunate remaining three book masters. His power erupted from the ground as a massive Geyser of what looked similar to fire, although the appearance was where the similarities ended. When the energy struck you, it felt akin to having a steam roller thrown at you instead of being burned. Instantaneously, the three heartless which were still alive vanished into a burst of black smoke and faded away, as though they'd never been there at all. Pulling his long black sword from the ground, he turned from their previous location and set his sights on one of the larger heartless. The next Behemoth. He had confidence Kel would join him in his assault. Sprinting forward at the monster, he swung the blade at its foot, but the impact wasn't nearly as strong as it should have been. The attack was dulled. A barrier of wind protected the behemoth. "So, these things can cast magic now can they? In that Case...Kel, come over here! I want to try something out." He didn't know how, but he was able to tell exactly what kinds of abilities this form had. It was like his body was on auto-pilot when he fought. So, he'd try one out to help both him and Kel.

Now that one of the ten behemoths that they had to face was defeated, they could focus on some of the other heartless floating around before going to the next one. The question at hand was which heartless to deal with first. While he was trying to find an answer to this, the group of Blue Rhapsodies started to fly around him. Since they looked extremely similar to the Yellow Opera's that Kel had played dodge lighting with, it wasn't all that hard to figure out where this was going. At least five of the heartless that were around had started to form a ball of ice again. It was going to be Greek Dodge ball, cept instead of actual dodge balls, it would be with shards of ice that could potentially kill him if he did nothing but stand there and did nothing. So as they say in No Game No Life. "Let the game begin."

Right as he said that the blue rhapsodies around him fired their shards of ice towards Kel, which he naturally dodged. He saw how that they were preparing for another attack so he quickly rushed in and took down each one of them before they could fire off the attack. The slain heartless had turned into the usually black mist and this time some of them had left a mist of ice falling behind Kel. While it did pretty much no damage to him, not that he was all that injured anymore due to Ananta healing him, it did and give an extra look of coolness. Ice related things really seem to be fond of Kel, that said there is still no purple haired snow woman within the area nor does Kel have the chilling feeling that someone was watching him from behind a wall or bookcase or even a tree if one could even find one in this giant area.

With the mist of snow still falling through the air, Kel turned towards the group of Red Nocturnes and watched them get destroy. Kel didn't think he had the ability to destroy heartless just by looking at them, in fact he'd figure that Karina of all people would have that ability. Another looked revealed that it was Hikaru flying around on a giant elephants back taking out some of the heartless. Now how'd he missed a flying elephant with giant ears he'd never know. That certainly is something that you would expect to notice. Hell he got distracted by the Behemoth becoming Free Wily Cat. Whatever. Point is that the elephant certainly did help in thinning out the number of heartless left of him to face. Turning his attention back towards the 10 reaming Rhapsodies, he went ahead and used Zantesuken on them, causing 10 hearts to float into the air before vanishing.

That just left the 12 yellow opera for him to defeat. An easy feat seeing as how he could use gravity to not only force them down to the ground, but also group them all together. Then a single blizzard spell should take care of most of them. If there were any survivors, then Kel would personally take care of them. So one way or another the heartless would fall to Kel's might. So he then went ahead and cast gravity to drag the airborne heartless towards the ground, then he fired off a blizzards spell which in fact took care of all 12 of the heartless. Now that that was out of the way, he could focus his attention back on the behemoth. Perfect timing too cause Beuce was already starting to fight one, or he would be if not for the barrier of wind surrounding the behemoth. As unexpected as that was, he heard Beuce call out his name and went over towards him. "Alright what do you want to try ou- wait, did you get a costume change or something?" That had to have happened after the first behemoth was defeated, otherwise it would be a real damn shame if Kel had missed that.

Stratos now had to go in and take care of these heartless once more with feeling. He had suddenly felt the adrenaline rush fuel through him again, almost as if it had never disappeared in the first place. Well that was interesting. Not to mention the chill ripper itself looked a little worse for wear. Man, had he been doing that much damage this entire time? Lord only knows what Karina was going to be like when she realized her destructive might was back as well. How did he know it was gone? Why because she was really sluggish at the moment. Regardless, Stratos was a man on a mission to kill this chill ripper and take down the second to last zip slasher. These guys were something else alright. Always guarding against attacks, blocking and stuff. There, immunity to magic bull shit. Then there was the fact that they were kind of strong, both in terms of raw vitality and endurance, and then in terms of actually fighting strength. The all seemed to have something to bring to the table when it came to that. The first one just being generally awesome, the second with its raw fire magic, the third one with its wind powers, and now this with its ice. Well he was going to end it right here, and right now.

Before the two could get in to their epic confrontation it was then that a wayward morning star waddled its way over into the scene. It looked like it was ready to pick a fight with Stratos, and he knew just how he was going to end this fight. However, it'd have to be put on hold as the morning star continued to do something different. Rather than jump and try to body press him, this one curled up into a ball and started rolling at Stratos. He quickly dodge rolled away from the heartless, only to see a chunk of ice come flying right at him. Stratos quickly held up his keyblade to guard, only to see the attack belonging to the chill ripper. A wayward lance soldier than came diving at him, only for Stratos to quickly parry that attack away and strike the lance soldier back. It was then that the chill ripper had charged its charge attack, and with a trail of ice behind it, came sliding straight towards Stratos. Putting up his guard to block against the attack, he was pushed back, yet so was the chill ripper.

While this would've been a golden opportunity, the morning star had already come back around to roll straight over Stratos. The young keyblade wielder dodge rolled out of the way, only to see that the chill ripper had finally gotten back up. Then it did something even wierder. Creating a large bow of ice, it fired what could only be described as an enchanted crystal arrow at him, which Stratos could only put his guard up against. While he block the brunt of the attack, he was left stunned there by the sheer force and chilling factor. He stood there as he saw the morning star finally jump into the air. It was only for a split second that the window opened up, but Stratos managed to unfreeze himself just in time to block against the attack of the morning star. He then started spiking it at the chill ripper only to have the chill ripper immediately cleave the heartless in two. However, Stratos was going to end this right here. Getting into his Iaido stance, Stratos was able to see the Vital Point, as he was now calling it, and immediately dashed forward at blindingly fast speeds. With Zantetsuken over with, Stratos had cut the vital point and the chill ripper was dead.

He was successful in getting Kel's attention, and the first thing he did was ask about the costume change. "Yeah i dunno. It just kinda showed up. Pretty stylish if you ask me. Either way, it's more than just a costume. Watch this." He pointed his sword downward and placed it into the ground. This time, instead of energy erupting from the ground, it seemed to flow from Beuce himself. His hair began to float in the air as a bright crimson red aura grew larger and more intense, flying off him in every direction. Even just by looking at him, the power in the air around him was undeniable. "Haaaaaaa!" The energy expanded from around him, growing larger. Eventually, it seemed to trigger a reaction within Kel's own body. He had a similar reaction with a bright azure blue aura. Beuce's own power had triggered a chain reaction and drawn out some of the power within Kel's heart. Both of their auras grew to considerable size, until finally they touched and merged together. An enormous pillar of energy shot upwards toward the roof, completely enveloping the two wielders. Blue and Red spiraled around it, increasing their power further. Finally, it was time, and they stepped out of the light as it died down behind them. Each of them was visibly stronger, and carried around a more mobile version of their aura which had surrounded them, complete with crackles of what appeared to be colored lightning. Their eyes too were now dyed with the color of their aura.

"Well, feel like a total badass yet? If not, try doing something." He said, half jokingly. As non-serious as he was, there was no question their power had been substantially increased. With no hesitation, Beuce broke out into a Zantetsuken, and a few cherry blossoms later, he was on the other side of the wind-guarded behemoth. A large gash had been left in the side of the creature. It roared and summoned a whirlwind around it, blowing back Beuce and causing him to slam against a bookshelf. Thankfully wind magic wasn't made to hurt your opponents. It was made to keep you alive so you could hurt your opponents through other means. Like hitting them. Speaking of which, a rather large foot swung backwards and struck Beuce in the chest. That didn't feel very good, but he was able to rise to his feet and counterattack. A trail of red energy followed behind his blade wherever it was swung. He maneuvered between the kicking feet and made his way beneath the behemoth, slashing and cutting at the creature with his extended combos. Even through the defense of its wind barrier, the behemoth was taking substantial damage. There was a massive burst on the ground every time he swung from the sheer force behind the hits. Finally, he rolled out from beneath it and looked at it head on.

Between its horns charged a small orb of what appeared to be wind magic, growing larger and larger until finally it spanned the length between the tusks. As it burst, several smaller orbs of the same element shot forth and began tracking down the wielders. Beuce, however, was ready for this. Since this evidently wasn't considered by his body to be of the magical variety, he cloaked his body in a shield of light and ran at the behemoth. As each orb of wind magic collided with him, it bounced off and trailed at no location in particular before vanishing. Eventually, he collided with the behemoth's face in a massively strong shoulder charge that knocked it, even with it's protection, off it's feet and into the air momentarily. Landing on the ground as the creature hit the ground with a thud, the aura surrounding Beuce flared up momentarily, indicating use of his new found physical strength.

Stratos now had to keep going on his massive tear of all the heartless that were around, and needed to bring them all down with his raw demacian not demacian might. As things stood, there was a single zip slasher left, a single behemoth left, and a handful of two other types of heartless. Which could only mean, that things were working out perfectly fine here. The fight had been long and hard, yet they were finally coming to their ending point. While Stratos wanted to kill the behemoth, he knew it would be a bad idea to take it on by himself right this moment. No, he needed to have Karina's help to bring down such a beast. Not to mention it would be much better to end everything by killing the big guy last. True final enemy fashion and all. Then there was also the fact that the lance soldiers and morning star could get in their way in the middle of the fight. And that would be just plain annoying to have happen. So next up, Stratos had to figure out what to fight next, but before that, he needed to make sure his partner was fine. Sure she hadn't done much see he cast it on her the first time, but Karina still seemed a bit like she had some sort of injuries that needed casting away. So he simply let loose the green light from his keyblade that indicated cure being cast from it, and he did that a second time. Why? Because one could never be too careful when in the giant moshpit of heartless. Next he cast Aero on the both of them just to keep their defenses up for the moment. Again, couldn't be too careful.

As Stratos was about to go looking for trouble, trouble came looking for him. This brand of trouble came in the form of a zip slasher variant, and looked primed and ready to kick some ass in. While a regular zip slasher was some sort of silvery blend of grays and the such, with sort of dull blue blades for arms. This one, however, looked much different. Even the other three variants so far, the ones that cast magic, all looked pretty similar in overall color scheme sans blades. This one, however, had bronze armor coating its body, decorated with red lines streaked across it. The blades, too, were something different. They were simply an orange yellow. The other thing about this variant was that it seemed to hold no sort of elemental affinity to it. No, instead it seemed like it was just raw physical might like the first one. Not to mention this one seemed...bigger. Like, size wise, it was much bigger than all of the other zip slashers thus far.

While Stratos was analyzing its appearance, it was busy charging up an attack. It the light around it stopped gathering together, its blades flashed golden and the heartless charged the keyblade wielder. Acting fast, he brought up his keyblade to block against the slash. With the heartless knocked down, Stratos went in to unleash a ground combo on it. With the last hit of the combo hitting, he quickly chained in a vorpal blitz only for the heartless to stand back up at the end of the third hit. Once that was over and done with, Stratos then blocked against the oncoming attack, only to be pushed back by the raw physical might of the Stalwart Blade. Well this thing certainly packed a punch. Getting ready, Stratos swiftly dodge rolled past the heartless as it slashed at him once more, and then went back in to attack it. He repeated this process until his BP ran out.

Feeling a little stiff and sore from all the fighting, Raisor stretched out his arms to make sure nothing got messed up. There were still a fair amount of larger heartless to deal with in the South side, but they seemed to have gotten rid of most of the smaller enemies by this point. There were still Black Fungus in the middle of the group, but other than those, the rest consisted of Defenders, Large Bodies, Bolt Towers, Assault Riders, and Morning Stars. Obviously, Behemoths were part of that list as well, but it's hard not to notice the creatures walking across the ground. Relatively speaking, the other heartless were small even compared to the Behemoths. Good thing Raisor was comparing only the heartless at his height.

Trying not to waste time, Raisor looked for another heartless to fight. As his luck-from-the-bottom-of-the-universe would have it, a large Shadow dropped on top of his. Quickly dodging out of the way, a heartless slammed to the ground in front of Raisor, knocking up a giant amount of dirt. Raisor shielded his eyes to make sure nothing got in the way of his vision. Seconds later, a punch came from the spot that the heartless landed, and Raisor knocked it away with his keyblade. The punch came from a giant, yellow ball with spikes, and Raisor knew what that meant. The dust settled and a Morning Star sat in front of him. He really didn't feel like fighting such an enemy right now, because of all the jumping and spinning they did, but maybe he could lure it to a group of enemies and do the little bouncing routine on the unsuspecting hearltess.

He dodged a second punch from the Morning Star and ran past the side, going around the back of the foe. As Raisor hoped, the Morning Star started making its noise and began to spin like a top. Raisor ran around, looking for a nice victim to take out. Glancing left and right, he had to decide what enemy would be best to take out with the Morning Star. After a few choices, he picked a Black Fungus that was walking around alone. That certainly made an easy target to hit. Raisor changed direction and ran toward the fungus, having the Morning Star follow. As they closed in, the Fungus noticed them and became stone immediately, causing a cloud of black poison to appear. Raisor stopped running to steer clear of the poison and put up his guard. He turned around and allowed the Morning Star to close the distance between the two. As it came closer, Raisor jumped out of the heartless' way and allowed it to spin past him and right into the Black Fungus. Since the Fungus was a statue at the moment, it wasn't affected by the incoming top; in fact, the moment the Star hit the fungus, it stopped spinning altogether. The one good thing about Black Fungus: They could stop just about any attack, even other heartless ones.

Raisor took the chance to close in on the two, when a fireball came flying straight toward him. He ducked out of the way and the flame kept moving. He looked up and a Defender had joined the fray. Well, that made it a nice and simple. He kept running toward the Morning Star, rushing past the poison cloud that was beginning to dissipate. He neared the enemy and began to attack it. A few attacks to the creature and it knocked him right back. Raisor put up his keyblade to block the incoming attack and took it full force. The blow hit him and knocked him a few inches back. At that moment, all three heartless came into position and made it simple to defeat. The Morning star jumped in the air, and Black Fungus de-stoned, and the Defender closed in enough distance to attack as well. Raisor took the chance to jump up and grab the Morning Star, and slammed it into the ground. The resulting hit threw the Defender and Black Fungus in a daze, and Raisor kept pounding them. Once, twice, three times, and the morning star vanished, as well as the other two heartless. Raisor landed on the ground, and wondered if he could take out a few more heartless at once like that. Morning Stars were certainly useful at some points.

Stratos was now in his epic duel of sheer epicness against the stalwart blade before him. The being seemed to be the toughest of the the variants thus far, despite not doing anything different. Especially since it didn't even have a single spell. Regardless, this one was going to be like the first zip slasher duel, minus the armored knights. Except this time Stratos had far more strength to use than he had before. Well, not like actual strength, but more like some sort of increased endurance. It was almost as if there was some sort of inverted reluctancy going on. Something that made people more willing and more able to fight on for longer. Though, normally all magic had some sort of source, something that fueled their power. And it was usual one that had some sort of identifiable one at that, as everyone who used magic, even if subtly, casts it in a different way. The source has a sort of magical fingerprint so to speak. But this, if it were a spell, had no source. No identifiable being was casting any sort of magic, and the feeling itself didn't even feel like magic. While he was curious as to what was going on, he didn't really care enough to try and think any more on it, as there were heartless that needed slaying.

While the Stalwart Blade was priority target number one, the smaller targets of the lance soldiers and morning stars were also a factor to take in to account. While Stratos had no doubt that individually, they would go down fairly quickly, together they could probably form a much bigger threat. That, and they could prove to buffer his advance on the other, which ultimately lead to the same conclusion, but would just make focusing down a single thing much more annoying. As the stalwart blade started to charge up its blade attack, Stratos got ready to defend, only to see that a morning star was trying to use roll out on him. When the heartless came rolling at him, Stratos could only dodge roll out of the way, and the moment he did, the stalwart blade had let loose its charge, dashing straight at Stratos. Stratos could only awkwardly bring up his keyblade to deflect only a portion of the attack, but the brunt of it had managed to connect with him, sending him flying across the room.

It was a good thing he had had aero up, otherwise that might have hurt way more than it actually did. Stratos quickly cast cure on himself, to heal away said injury, only to see the morning star roll at him again. Stratos quickly put up his guard to block against the attack this time, rather than dodge, and as he did, the morning star got out of its ball form and leaped in the air. Stratos reacted to the magic green triangle, guarding against the skyward attack, and then reacted even more by jumping into the air and spiking the morning star at things. Two stray lance soldiers that were walking around were the first targets. Throwing the morning star at one of them, the first of the had exploded in black smoke. The second charged at Stratos with its lance, only for Stratos to spike it at the second one and kill that as well. With that, he threw the morning star at the stalwart blade, who simply slashed the morning star out of existence. It was then that the Stalwart blade jumped into the air, only Stratos to initiate vorpal blitz before the thing came close. The Stalwart Blade, who was preforming a jumping attack, was intercepted by the final hit of vorpal blitz, and was spiked down by the critical that it brought along with it.

Keyblade thwacking and heartless flying about, Ananta was too preoccupied with dealing some damage to this Behemoth to even be able to see what was going on around her. Four Air Battlers were were circling around the Behemoth, probably reacting to it's sudden movements, looking like they were going to pounce on Ananta at any moment. In the midst of her keyblade attacks on the Behemoth, she caught a glimpse of an Air Battler flying in front of her. She stopped her assault to watch this heartless as it made one more round trip before it zoomed in for an attack. Ananta ducked down to avoid the attack, but lost her footing and soon slid down the Behemoth's back. She stopped sliding when she reached the bend of it's back and looked around, disoriented from the slip. The heartless was back and it was zooming right for Ananta. Instead of trying to get up, she held her keyblade up as it slammed into her, trying to shove the keyblade out of her hands with a thirsty look on it's face. Ananta reached her legs up and kicked the heartless away from her, allowing her to get up and fire off three Fire spells of her own. The Air Battler was dealt with at that point.

Behind Ananta, two Air Battlers had locked their hands together and were ready to put their arms around Ananta. As they began to zoom towards her, Ananta turned around and ducked, leaving her keyblade up to catch them. They spun around and slammed into each other, knocking themselves out and falling onto the Behemoth's back, leaving Ananta to look at them and think about how to deal with them. "Could just take the easy way out or I could let the Behemoth stomp on them." she considered her choices. Having come to a decision, she attacked and stabbed one of the Air Battlers, watching it disappear. The other one would get her alternate method of disposal. After she attacked it a little to be absolutely sure it would be disposed of, Ananta pushed the heartless off the Behemoth's back and watched it fall to the floor. The Behemoth had been walking this entire time, so it was only a matter of time before it stepped on the Air Battler. Ananta watched it take the step and grimaced at the thought of the same happening to her.

"That just leaves one more heartless." she said, looking over at the Air Battler that was perched on the Behemoth's head. It was watching her carefully, looking to see if she was done with it's comrades before it would attack. Which it didn't do. It still sat there, staring at Ananta. "Guess I'll have to come to you, then?" she said, starting to climb up the Behemoth's back. Just as she reached the top, the Behemoth roared, catching Ananta off guard and causing her to fall over on the Behemoth's back, sliding back down to where she started. The Air Battler tilted it's head on confusion, not understanding why Ananta fell. "Oof!" she said, looking up at the ceiling. "That sucked..." she grumbled, getting back to her feet. This time, she was careful and climbed the Behemoth's back like it was a rock wall. Her hands and feet grasped at the Behemoth's back and she was finally at the top. The Air Battler simply stared at her as she reached a fist up and punched it off the Behemoth's head. It fell back and landed in the Behemoth's mouth. Ananta looked over in time to see the heartless' fate.

Stratos had continued his fight against the Stalwart Blade and the other heartless that were here. Cutting all exposition and getting right to the fighting. Here we start out with two morning stars (oooh, spooky scary,) and three lance soldiers all coming over to assist the Stalwart Blade. Wait a second. What. Why were all these heartless suddenly being attracted to this fight? Stratos was pretty sure he could take all of these heartless on at once, though, killing them was another matter entirely. In fact, Stratos probably only had the perfect amount to deal with the heartless before him, rather than actually hit the Stalwart blade at all. While the priority target was the Stalwart Blade, the other heartless were simply annoying and were only going to get in the way later anyway. Better to focus them down now rather than worry about them when he was fighting the Stalwart Blade...wait a second...that was now.

The Stalwart Blade was already charging its blades up the preform its dash attack, and Stratos was already getting ready to defend against it. As the blades flashed their golden light, the heartless had dashed at him, in similar fashion to Zantetsuken really, though obviously much slower. As the blades were about to connect, Stratos was able to take the full force of the attack to his keyblade, and was pushed back, his feet sliding across the ground and leaving skid marks. The Stalwart Blade, however, wasn't knocked back by this block and continued its attack by raising one of its arm blades and bringing them down on Stratos. All the boy could do was stand there and guard once more. He winced when the two blades connected, as the strength behind the Stalwart Blade's attack was still able to send a shock through his keyblade. The Stalwart blade followed this up by spinning his body, blade arms extended, in an attempt to cleave Stratos in two. The boy was able to bring his keyblade back up once more, to defend his side. The blade arm connected with his keyblade, and with this attack being stronger than the last two, it was flat out able to knock him away. As Stratos went slightly airborne for a bit, he quickly cast fire above him, to create a propulsion that would spike him downward, allowing him to land safely and without to much damage.

Next up were the lance soldiers who seemed to want a piece of the action as well. The first of the three that were attacking him seemed to try and bring him down by diving at him. Stratos was able to simply parry the attack away, only to see another of the three come at him just flailing the lance around like it was nothing more than a wooden club or something. Stratos was able to dodge roll away from that in time, only for a morning star to roll right into him, and knock him back. Stratos was able to get himself back up in time to intercept the next attack from the lance soldiers, just a standard lance dive. As he parried that away, he noticed that a morning star was already about to body press him and that there was nothing he could do to block it. Things were bad, as the enemies were putting relentless pressure on him, but Stratos was able to pull out a huge reversal here. With time coming to a stop around him, Stratos had took Iaido stance with cherry blossoms falling, and though the enemies were all spread out, he managed to locate all of their vital points, and while envisioning himself cutting those points, he preformed Zantetsuken. He had quickly disappeared and reappeared away from the Stalwart blade. All of the other heartless chasing him suddenly had a large cut open up across all of them, and then quickly exploded into black smoke.

At the East Gate, Aden was having some serious trouble fending off Heartless. It was one thing, after all, to spar against friends in a controlled setting; it was another thing entirely to be fighting for your life (and the lives of several others) against a relentless torrent of creatures who reveled in destruction and killing. Aden was rusty in his combat, and it did not please him at all. It pleased him even less to see that his comrades weren't having the same struggle that he was.

He growled in frustration, struggling to hold his position in front of the gate. He cast an Aero on himself, then followed up with a Gravity on the Heartless around him. A Zip Slasher that had been mid-lunge suddenly spun heels-over-head in the air in an almost comical fashion. Aden flung a Fire at the Heartless, and when that didn't take it out, he followed up with another Fire and a Blizzard. Yet still the Heartless lived! Irked, Aden got into position to run up and strike it.

A Morning Star, however, took advantage of its round shape, new gravity, and Aden's distraction by tumbling towards him through the air in a much less comical manner. Aden only had time to make a hasty block that the Morning Star and its momentum quickly overpowered. The rotund Heartless struck him and he stumbled backwards, albeit cushioned by the Aero spell from earlier. He panicked briefly at losing ground to the Heartless before rushing forward again and slashing at it angrily. While the Morning Star was stunned from the strike, Aden struck it again and again with his Keyblade, weaving a combo together, then shot it out of the sky with one last Blizzard.

Finally, it seemed like Aden was gaining a second wind.

He turned to check on the status of his comrades at the East Gate. Most immediately, he saw that Stratos was engaging against a Stalwart Blade, but was continually being interrupted by other smaller Heartless.

“I’ll cover you!” Aden called to him, running to his aid. As Aden moved further away from his original location, though, the effects of his Gravity spell quickly faded away. When he was closer to Stratos, he turned his running into a Sliding Dash right into a Lance Soldier, then cast the spell again, actually calling out “Gravity!” this time in order to give the other Keywielder some sort of warning for what was about to happen. True to form, the Heartless in the area were promptly upended from their earthbound positions, and Aden neatly dispatched the Lance Soldier he’d slid into with a quick combo. This time, however, he didn’t let his guard down, and immediately pivoted on his heel in order to unleash a Fire on another nearby Morning Star. The Heartless squealed, the spell having burned it. Aden decided to take a page from Stratos’ book, so to speak, and mimicked a move he’d seen the Keywielder make earlier. He grabbed the floating Morning Star by its leg and flung it into another Lance Soldier that seemed to have been previously wounded. Both Heartless, to Aden’s relief, exploded into identical clouds of dark smoke, the released hearts shimmering pink as they soared up into the air.

He looked back over his shoulder to see how Stratos was faring. Heartless had started to overwhelm his comrade amidst the fight against the Stalwart Blade, but had managed to break free of them with a Zantetsuken. “I’ll take care of the other Heartless!” Aden called supportively to Stratos. “You focus on the Stalwart Blade!” He sent a Cure spell towards the Keywielder, then readied himself for further attacks from other Heartless.

As it seemed Karina was still out of it a bit. Taking a lot of time between her actions. In this time she looked around and saw Aden doing something. Now she knew she had to be dreaming, or thematic angelic behemoth had dine more to her than she thought. Aden didn't fight, he just stood there along either Base. Karina rubbed her eyes then looked again. He was still fighting. She blinked as she stared. Karina then started to pinch herself trying to wake herself up. It wasn't possible that she was awake. But no matter what Karina tried she still looked up and saw Aden being at least somewhat helpful. Guess meracles did happen when you believed... Well she didn't believe, perhaps stratos did, or else it was unprompted. It meant that they would have to share their experience with him, and then what? Karina didn't want to share, she hated sharing.she could stand the thought of sharing with Stratos a little more because he was doing more than she was. He had earned it. Meanwhile Aden only just stared to do things now. He missed most of the behemoths and so many other things. This thought annoyed Karina, and through this annoyance she found the strange burst of energy that she had had before being knocked out. It was go time now.

All possible hallucinations aside, Karina decided to warm up.on some easy things. The heartless that where already injured two Lance Soldiers in the distance would make a good target to get back into the groove of things. Karina started to charge forward as her keyblade left her hand on the form. Of a stroke raid. Karina wasn't far behind her keyblade. As soon as the strike raid hit she followed it up by punchingbthe heartless with her right hand, catching her keyblade wither left. As she finished that attack she tossed her keyblade in the air catching it again with her right hand in order torture and efficiently kill the other Lance Soldiers. This however didn't make the others around her very happy. The next thing she knew Karina was surrounded by five more Lance Soldiers. Karina looked at each one before deciding she could take them all out on her own right now. Karina startrd by casting off cool downs and performing 5 strike raids. One at a time as each heartless was injured and Karinas keyblade returned to her, she turned and threw it at the next one until she complete.to circle. This was followed by a series of basic attacks using the same method. Slowly she was taking them down. Karina then let herself fill with a great power. Her other attacks had been child's play compared to the move Karina was about to perform. Standing their fir a moment Karina let the heartless get confident enough to try and attack her, as soon as they did she unleashed the wrath of the warrior. Karina stares a massive extremely strong combo in which she ended up going between the heartless attacking them all, quickly bringing them to an end.

Standing there amongst a smoke like substance that had come as she defeated the heartless and they disappeared, Karina was catching her breath. "I may have been beaten by an angel, but I am not down for good and I am not weak. Those heartless would have benefited from knowing that." Karina said to Stratos before taking a deep breath and chuckling slightly. Using her limit took a lot out of her but soon see would be ready to keep fighting once more.

Dumbo and Hikaru continued flying, as the boy braced himself to turn around against the heartless they has been rounding up. He was psyching himself up since the elephant had finished another peanut bag and was ready to open fire again. He continued to take some deep breath, getting himself more and more exciting to turn around and do the same routine as last time. The reason he was more nervous this time as that the heartless had already scene this strategy and could possibly adapt to it. He knew they were beings of darkness, but he was still unsure on their mental capacity. Nevertheless, he wouldn't be doing himself any favors by stalling,s o he quickly counted to three in his head and spun around, only to see that they had all disappeared on him. He wasn't sure if they wandered off or not until he looked up to see their hearts had already dispersed and were lifting high into the air. He was very confused at this point and didn't understand what happened until he looked down to find young Kel running off the scene and towards Beuce and the nine behemoths that sill remained.

"Huh," Hikaru stated aloud, baffled that he didn't need to do any mroe flying away. Still, he had enough ammo in Dumbo's trunk to do some damage. So with that, he followed Kel to Beuce's location and let the elephant open fire his mighty peanut hailstorm against the most damaged Behemoth to weaken it further an further against the mighty heartless's mystic horn. At an astonishing 5 peanuts per second, Dumbo was casting some massive rapid fire agsint the beast, and proved to annoy the beast quite a bit before running out of it's salty ammunition. Once, they ran on empty, Hikaru pulled Dumbo back to retreat away from it and back down to lower down to rendezvous with Beuce and Kel. He took the elephant for a quick aerial loop before he approached alongside Kel. "Much obliged for the assistance," he thanked. "Any method you have in mind to take them down faster?" he directed the question to Beuce as well, who had been fighting off the larger heartless as he, Luna, and Anora were fending off the smaller threats. "Looks like we've still got about nine of them to defeat, and I'm not sure how much more Dumbo here can last."

Kaida had dispersed all the heartless and had her guard down, unaware there was a small ace in the hole from the swarm of heartless she fought. A small bomb-like heartless with tiny legs was making it's way towards the blonde haired girl and sat down shyly beside her, starting a countdown. The way this heartless worked was that once it planted itself and started it's three second countdown. Before any reaction or acknowledgement of the heartless could be made on Kaida's part, a short skateboarder came zooming onto the scene, wearing an elongated helmet on the front of the head. The boy on the board made a long skid as he picked up the heartless with one hand, while jumping off his board.

    Three.

He held his board like a baseball bat, and the minute bomb like baseball. He tossed it up twice so he could make ensure a fair distance when he would swing it away.

    Two.

With one more toss into the air, he put his other hand onto the board, and gave a mighty swing of it, tossing the heartless into the air and having reach the end of it's countdown. He put his straight hand atop his brow to see how far he would hit it.

    One.

A small explosion was made into the sky, a few meters away from them, and high enough that it didn't damage anything. The sound it made however, attracted the attention of an unknown voice.

"Ye hear dat! He went this way!"
The mystery boarder at the sound of the gruff yell, quickly put his board back on the ground and saluted Kaida before rolling his board under the the bridge in the district so that he wasn't spotted.

A rather portly man, with dark fur, ans sharp cat ears came onto the scene, in a full captain's armor, followed closely behind by to small weasels, also in royal armor. He stopped and wheezed out a few gusts of air as the weasels slyly made their way around the Captain to investigate.

"Oy! You there! What's that boomin you been makin'?"
"We heard it loud and clear we did!"

Pete saw that they had begun interrogating without him and was not ammused.

"Now wait just a cotton pickin' minute see! I'm the Captain, so I'll be making the accusation's 'round here." The Captain caught his breath and picked up his belly to show he meant business. "That's not how ya do it ya nimrods!" He pushed aside the weasels so he could get a better look at the suspect. She definately didn't look like any animal from Disneytown
"Alrighty missy, since you're obviously new round here, I'll letcha in on the rundown. I'm Captain Pete, see? And me and my royal henchmen work for the sole purpose of keeping' peace and order in this here town. Now you wouldn't be tryin' to mess that up wouldya?"

"Hey boss! We found skid marks! Maybe she's in cahoots with that boarder fella, eh?"
"Yeah! That punk's been causing nothin' but trouble for us he has."

Pete thought about this for a moment. "You know my boys got a point there. If yer in league with that fella, I'd have to go and arresta yah." He gave a big grin as he stroked his chin in his scheming mood. "Buuut, if you'd be willing to tell me where he went, I'd a course let this little incident slide."

Stratos had been in sheer disbelief as to what was happening here. He had to do a double take in order to be sure he wasn't dreaming or hallucinating. There was someone new in this fight here. Though saying new would be implying that they showed up out nowhere, which wasn't true in this case. This person here had been with both Karina and Stratos this entire time, and he had been doing...like nothing. And by nothing he didn't mean just standing there and doing nothing, no his very existence was in question at that point. That brand of doing nothing. Stratos was concerned at the start of the fight about the inactivity of the fellow two team mates, but now, he kind of agreed with Karina's internal monologue of him just sort of benefiting of all their, and more importantly, his work so far. The person in question was Aden, who started to help them and decided that when there was barely anything left would be a good time to fight. Whatever. Any sort of help was better than no help at this point, and Stratos was okay with Aden helping them. After all, he was a part of this team.

Then there was Karina, who seemed to come in like a wrecking ball. Like, she had definitely gotten her second wind for this fight...for like the fifth time. She was all about the whole, beating things in with her raw physical strength. Unleashing commands too and fro, beating things in with her keyblade and such. Not to mention she managed to completely disregard cool downs and use a single command five times in a row. Granted, that was strike raid and it was one of the weakest commands in existence. But still, it was a rather impressive sight, and one he figured he should try and learn from. After all, he was on a grand quest to learn and master all commands there were. Granted commands didn't have levels in this, but they were still conceptually odd. Anyway, he watched as she managed to make quick work of just about most of the smaller heartless, coupled with Aden's efforts as well, and she finished off a good deal of them using her limit. Well, that was something to see. He hadn't actually bore witness to limits before, other than trip around the sun and Mad World, but they were something to behold. It looked just like a command, really, but it was something he couldn't really hope to understand. It was even more mysterious in terms of technique than what he had seen Beuce use earlier. Those, he could at least tell were commands, they just had some really weird and unorthodox way of happening. This was completely different, mostly due to it happening from the energy built within oneself. Stratos realized he had a move similar to Karina's, but he just couldn't access it for whatever reason.

Anyway, after talking about that, he heard Karina talking about how even after losing to that angelic behemoth, she wouldn't lose anymore. Stratos just said, "don't worry about it. Now that we have Aden working here, our jobs we've been handling right now just got a whole lot easier. Plus, I've always got enough mp for cure backed up." After Stratos jokingly said that last line, he then went to fight against the Stalwart Blade. It had charged up its blades once more, and tried to attack him with its usual charge attack, allowing Stratos to simply block against the attack and unleash a flurry of nondescript but totally relentless attacks on it.
