Karina didn't even have the energy to fight back or try to ignore Stratos's comments. She was left with no other choice but to sit there, on the ground and listen to his speech. He had made similar comments through this fight but Karina never paid all that much attention. Why? Because frankly she didn't believe it. She didn't believe why anyone would want to save her or protect her, she didn't believe even as just a comrade she was worth it. Why would she be? Her mind was always full of doubt especially when it came to something about people being nice to her. She was not used to people being nice to her for more than a few minutes before backing off cause they want nothing to do with her and her personality, or they react badly to Karina's bad attitude and she chases them away. Either way she was not used to people being nice to her or worrying about her and the fact Stratos was raised a lot of doubts in Karina's mind. On the other hand everything that Stratos was saying about her was true. The fact if someone didn't worry about her she would get herself killed. She would run into things blindly and hope from the best. She didn't plan because frankly she didn't value her own life and didn't care if it came to an end. If someone else wanted to care what came of her life then so be it, but she didn't. However at times when people showed that they did truly care, she could occasionally calm herself enough to think at least somewhat rationally, or at least find something worth living for even if it was for only a short while longer.

With Stratos finishing his speech and casting cure, Karina forced herself to her feet once again, picking up her keyblade in her hand. Looking at it she knew that she didn't deserve to wield it, but she would anyhow, if for nothing else to protect the one person here that seemed to care in the slightest for her. He had saved her more than once now, talked her out of one of her depressed states and constantly supported her, she had to keep fighting if nothing else because she was someone with slight honor and if she owed someone something she planned to repay them and right now she owed Stratos for a lot. Karina simply nodded at Stratos unable to bring herself to say anything to him. She wasn't done here not yet, not until everyone was safe.

Out of nowhere Karina threw her keyblade at heartless that where coming up behind Stratos. It seemed she was not paying attention up to that point but clearly she was. Karina then charged forward to finish the two behind him off. Damn monkey's where annoying and they wouldn't stop moving making Karina's job a lot more difficult but not impossible. Using a barrier surge to get to a third it only took a few attacks in order to take that one out. That was a few attacks on top of the barrier surge, she did hit with that one. Karina then turned to a forth and jumped on it quickly taking it out as well. Brushing her hands off she still had a slight amount of bp left, not enough to take out anything but to injure one more of them, and that was what she would do. throwing another strike raid across the room Karina hit one of the other power wilds before her keyblade returned to her. She gave stratos a slight smile almost to say thank you as she took a step back to recharge.

So Stratos was kind of screwed right now. If not for the fact that he was only capable of killing three of the entire mass at any given moment, then probably more so because...he was fighting an entire mass of heartless that just sort of circled around him. Okay, so this was not one of the greater plans that he had come up with. In fact, you could even call it one of his dumbest. Yeah, this was really bad. He was looking around at the rather hopeless situation he had been put in at first, and then something came in like a wrecking bull- er, wrecking ball. And low behold, it was again, Karina. Damn, that girl blasting her way through these heartless was really helpful to him right now. It was a good thing that he could at least believe in one of his three immediate team mates, otherwise, the young wielder might have already been dead from all of this. However, as things stood, he was totally in the clear and was totally ready to bring down any and all heartless that were in his general vicinity. Or ya know, three of them because lol BP.

He started to charge at the heartless, only to realize how bad of an idea this actually was, and started running back away from them. Alright, so now he had a bit more than he could chew after him. It also didn't help that they were faster and more agile than he was. One of these days he would get some points in willpower...unfortunately, today was not that day. Stratos also didn't have nearly enough time to go and use his keyglider to retreat away from these heartless, but he did it anyway. Making the keyglider and hopping on it he continued to fly a bit away from them. It was then that one latched itself onto his keyglider, and started trying to claw its way up the board. However, this threw the boy off balance and the both of them fell. As Stratos got up, he kicked the power wild, trying to prevent it from doing anything, only to realize that his strength was still pretty low. Oh god. All the kick managed to do was annoy the power wild, and thus it started to leap towards the keyblade wielder and swipe at his face. However, Stratos had managed to pull up his keyblade and guard just in time to block against the swipe.

To release his own counterattack, he let out a vorpal bltiz, hitting the monkey heartless with a three hit combo imbued with ice. As the third hit struck the heartless, it finally died, evaporating into black smoke with a single heart floating into the air. Letting out a sigh of relief, his brief respite was interrupted by a power wild jumping on his back and trying to unleash fury swipes on his face. Running around like a lunatic, Stratos tried to pull the monkey off, but to no avail. Taking drastic measures, he quickly cast fire, with the resulting explosion killing the heartless and knocking the boy down. Okay. That hurt too. However, casting cure now, he felt right as rain (not the person.) Next up was the last heartless he could kill this round. This power wild was charging at him, claws at the ready. However, Stratos held out his hand, caught the heartless's head as it charged, and then just kept it there as the heartless tried to approach him. After that classic sitcom antic, Stratos went in to beat it down with various basic combo attacks, only to whack two more power wilds away, only managing to damage them.

Dodging attacks from an Air Knocker, Ananta didn't notice Kross approaching. She finished it off and looked to her side to see that Kross was standing there. She nearly jumped, not expecting him to stand right beside her, but she calmed herself down and looked at him. Ananta didn't really want to fight with anyone right now. She was far too busy trying to concentrate on the heartless as well as try to figure out why she saw memories like that earlier. The more she thought about it, the more she felt her heart drop in her chest. It was like she was forgetting about someone very important to her. Someone she loved more than anyone else. That person was the one that gave Ananta meaning. She pushed Ananta forward and made her do things that Ananta wouldn't have done otherwise. Falling to her knees, Ananta hit her head lightly, trying to figure out the person. Unfortunately, she was pulling a blank on all accounts. "Who is it?!" she groaned, leaning over, closing her eyes and holding her head. "Why can't I remember?" she sobbed.

Thinking back, Ananta began to piece together the last day that she was on her world. She remembered coming home from studying and performing duties. It was then that the heartless were attacking and she rushed home. She got home and saw both her parents dying, their hearts ripped out by heartless. She then ran to the Mother Crystal, hoping to ask the Sages for help. As she approached, she saw in front of her that they were all on their knees and praying to the Mother Crystal, whose light was fading fast. In front of her was the Sage she was going to replace some day. After that, everything was a blank. Ananta couldn't remember anything else.

"AAAAAAAUUUUGH!" she yelled, standing up and grabbing an Air Knocker. She slammed the heartless down on the ground and watched it shatter into a puff of darkness. "This is so annoying!" she complained, tears filling her eyes and spilling out. "Why can't I remember them? Did I hit my head or something?" Ananta stood up and turned to Kross. "I'm sorry." she said, summoning her keyblade. "I'm just confused right now, don't worry about me."

Looking around, she noticed that the Air Pirates Steel was fighting were now gone. "All that's left are these guys, the wyvern guys, the squiggly winged guys, and the Behemoth's." she commented, looking at an Air Knocker in front of her. "I say we should take care of the punchy hand ones first. It'd be easier that way since they look a little bit weaker than the rest." she sighed, patting Kross' back. "Thanks again for saving me earlier. It was really nice of you to do that....I...haven't really had anybody do hat before so...thanks." she said, turning away as red dusted her cheeks. Thanking people was a lot harder than the books told her.

Running forward, Ananta swung her keyblade at the first Air Knocker she saw. Her keyblade hit it back a little and the blizzard spell she threw at it connected, freezing one of the punching gloves. The heartless turned to her and began to swing both arms. "Oh crap, that didn't work" she said, dodging and blocking the blows, returning them with her own. After what seemed like hundreds of blows, she was finally able to perform a combo on the heartless, ending it's assault once and for all.

Standing there, she still couldn't help but feel like she was going to slap herself later.

Stratos now recognized the pickle that he was in, as he had to go in and fight more of the advancing power wild heartless. So, the fact of the matter is that now he recognized just how terrifying these monkey heartless just were. The fact of the matter was that these things were much faster than him, more so than their armored knight buddies, were much stronger and more annoying to fight then the armored knights, and took the exact same amount to kill as the aforementioned heartless. However, the only thing that they didn't have over the armored knights was that there was five less total. That was about it. So he had to think more now, than he did when he was in the large circle of heartless, only to realize that when he was within the large circle of armored knights he didn't even have a plan to begin with. Plus anything he did think of was usually countered almost immediately by a certain deceased behemoth. Nevertheless, this was a challenge he had to overcome at the moment, and he would have to think of something. As things were, he had about no MP to fight against these power wilds, and so he'd have to rely on his raw physical prowess, agility, and quick wit in order to overcome them...okay maybe this was impossible.

So, he started up his attack by running straight at a power wild in an attempt to lure it away from the rest of the group. As he ran up to it, the heartless responded in kind by leaping over Stratos, trying to take him out with various claw swipe attacks. Stratos reacted quickly by turning around and raising up his keyblade to block against the oncoming strikes, only to then realize that he had attracted the attention of three more power wilds. Okay, so definitely not good in this case. He pushed the first attack away, and dodge rolled past him, only to see that the other four were leaping at him in an attempt to circle around him. Dodge rolling before they managed to form a complete circle around them, Stratos had managed to escape that, only to see one jump straight at him. Bringing his keyblade up, he had to react fast. It was then, that he had some sort of flashback, similar to a war flashback. But he wasn't even in this flashback. It was just a yellow bear, wielding a stick, going against various animals. While he didn't know what this was, he managed to pick up and mimic the necessary skills required to beat this challenge.

As if it were a thrall of the pig in that flashback, the power wild came in at a similar speed to that of the pig's attack. Using that timing, he swung the keyblade and managed to sent the power wild back. However, it wasn't far enough away, and thus it didn't amount to much in the slightest. Nevertheless, he now had all four in front of him rather than circling. Stratos had to think of a way to knock them all out at once. However, there was nothing in his arsenal that could do that...or was there?

This entire time he had been using Zantetsuken, he realized that it was getting more ridiculous with each use. However, he believed he was starting to understand why. Zantetsuken was an incredibly complex technique when looked from an objective standpoint. Where the user speeds himself up so fast that time seems to slow down, and let out and extrodinarily powerful hit. By what made that hit special? What made Zantetsuken so powerful? Stratos was convinced that there was more to the technique than he had been previously been lead to believe when he learned it from Gilgamesh. The way he understood commands at this point was that they weren't so much the person doing an action, but rather, their body completely mimicking an action that was imprinted on to it. So if that were the case, Gilgamesh probably just taught them how to use it at its most basic level. As a really strong hit. As such, Stratos started to think on how he could manually use it, but was interrupted as his body glowed purple once more, and lightning arced off of it, zapping all the heartless dead. Well that was convenient.

Karina couldn't help but stop and think for a second about how she did indeed kill the last behemoth. That was her last strike was no where near strong enough to take down the rest of it's remaining health. It was sloppy and she wasn't even aiming for it's weak point, instead she just slashed randomly at it's side. Plus with the amount of power it must have been getting from feeding off her emotions she didn't think taking her down would be that hard, unless.... She had overloaded it. That was it, all her emotions and everything as much as they where getting too much for her, they where also becoming too much for the heartless to handle. especially in it's low health, all it needed was that one hit to push it over the edge, that one hit from her. For once her negative emotions did something good even though it left her feeling crappy after. She she had smiled at Stratos but it wasn't real. Her heart was heavy with emotions and her mind spinning with thoughts. However having to deal with this ambush helped her set them aside long enough to continue fighting, but for how much longer was anyone's guess. Her emotions where so off and on this battle, so out of control that one couldn't say when her mind would start to break again and she would lose the will to fight once again like she had before. Fear drove her through the behemoth fight, now what was the drive behind this one? It was to protect the only one in that room who seemed to care for her even in the slightest. She wouldn't consider him a friend yet but he was proving to be a loyal comrade.

Time to get back to the battle. As one of the monkey's jumped at Karina she blocked it's attack and then pushed hit away with her keyblade before turning and quickly repeating the process with a second power wild. There where a group of then power wilds immediately surrounding Karina, others where off to the side or attacking Stratos. She couldn't take them all out at once but she could sure as hell try to take out as many as possible. To start off her fight she decided to go with a simple attack to take out the first already injured power wild. But Karina couldn't continue a combo due to one of the sneaky little monkey's attempting to attack to attack her from behind. Karina turned around and started to slash at that heartless taking it out before it could hit her. But this left an opening for a third to attack, an opening that it did indeed take. After almost trying to kick her, which was nothing but a tickle compared to the behemoths it started to climb on her back and beat her. Karina reached over her shoulder, grabbing the heartless and throwing it to the ground before she stabbed it through the chest with her keyblade. The fun did not end here either however. A fourth decided to stick it's nose where it didn't belong and also attack Karina from the side. Karina caught this with the corner of her eye a spun around with her keyblade out so she would catch the heartless on it. She stopped spinning and let it fly at a fifth power wild. Karina then walked over to the two and started a basic combo attack hitting both numerous times taking them out. That was five down leaving five to go... for now. Before Karina could think of taking them on she first needed to catch her breath even in the slightest.

Stratos was now getting ready to try and figure out the secrets of skill commands. Granted, he only knew two of them, and furthermore, they didn't compliment his actually stat build in the slightest. Not to mention this was in the middle of a giant monkey heartless battle, which made this, admittedly, not one of the better times to actually try and figure things out on the fly. But hey, had to keep the fight that could end your life at any moment interesting somehow. As things stood, Stratos was still perplexed by Zantetsuken and its inner workings, and so he decided that that would be a good starting point. As of yet, he only really used it as a sort of finisher or dodge move, but all those times he had only ever hit one target with it. Now, he understood that as the command was, it could still hit multiple things at once in that single strike. Now while he wasn't really trying to see how that worked just yet, he decided to experiment a bit on the heartless that were around. There were three power wilds that seemed to just be standing around, not doing anything because lolnpcs.

Stratos decided to go in and attack the group with his now move of interest, Stratos took his Iaido stance, cherry blossoms falling from the who actually knows where. Focusing on his targets, they were all relatively spread out. Not like miles apart or anything, but still clustered together or all put in one simple line. As such, when the cherry blossoms had finally all fallen to the ground, Stratos had disappeared from his current position, reappearing with his arm outstretched and his keyblade in hand as if he had just struck something. The power wilds didn't seem to notice anything, until a large slash mark appeared on them. What the hell was this command? How was it that he was able to, in seemingly a single strike, attack multiple things of variable distance in seemingly a single moment? Stratos doesn't have the speed to move that fast, hell, no one does. Then there's also the fact that he shouldn't actually have the strength to use this technique as a brute force technique, yet it sometimes works. Looking back to the power wilds, they seemed to have not been felled by the technique, and so Stratos had to improvise on how to deal with them.

Elsewhere, a single green spiky heartless, a morning star, started waddling around. It looked towards its power wild brethren and decided to go observe what they were doing. It gasped at the sight of its brethren fighting none other than keyblade wielders. Oh my, he decided that he should probably help them out through some means. Seeing as there were only two he decided to size them up before attacking. There was first a boy who seemed to have just instantly changed locations and managed to cut whilst doing it. No, too scary. He then looked over to the girl and felt instantly that the boy was the far safer option.

As Stratos continued fighting the heartless, he saw a morning star heartless waddle over to him. Well there was a good out to this rather bad situation. As the morning star approached him, it jumped in the air, only for Stratos to see the familiar giant green triangle on it. Reacting to that, he guarded against the attack of it dropping, and then picked it up while jumping into the air. He then went in to start attacking the heartless by spiking the heartless down into all of them, killing the three power wilds and injuring the morning star in the process.

Karina was still catching her breath as she studied the heartless around her. There seemed to be no rhyme or reason behind their attacks, but then again they did resemble monkeys and those things where not particularly known for having the most logic behind what they did. Either way Karina just had to roll with it, if they where not going to attack with any pattern or reason she would do the same. Why plan anyways? It was hard to plan something when she couldn't anticipate her enemies next move. Beside these where rather easy to kill compared to some things that she could have been trying to take down. Karina simply started swinging her keyblade around in the general direction of one of the heartless. Bringing down the circle by half the heartless where more spread out meaning she could only go for one at a time. A few of her random movements countered some of the heartless attacks, some of the heartless's attacks hit her, and a few of her's got through and hit it, The heartless was losing health a lot quicker then she was, which was good. She could probably last threw the next three like that but that would be near the end for her. She would have to heal before she kept doing it.

"I don't know what you things are doing but if you want to play it that way, I can do the same." Karina said as she turned to the other four heartless. She then started to do the same thing that he did to the first one. As long as she ended the heartless's life she didn't care how silly she looked. She also didn't care how many hits she took as long as her hp didn't hit Zero. Karina charged at another one of the heartless using the same tactics, even though they where... how do you put it? Reckless? That might have been an understatement, but in the end it worked. With two dead she turned to the next two taking them both out with minimal effort and even less logic. She just had to get the job done somehow, the means did not matter so much or at least in Karina's eyes.

Leaving only one heartless around her more of the power wilds decided to start surrounding Karina getting ready to attack. Getting bored of fighting them she eyed a weak morning star. That was a quick change of pace. Once it was dead she would have to return to the power wilds but it was at least something different. Karina used high jump to shoot herself up and over the newly formed circle of power wilds. She came down with a vorpal blitz at the morning star, killing it quickly and efficiently, unlike the power wilds. She may have stole Stratos's kill but she really could care less at this point. As long as the job was getting done that was all that mattered, plus Stratos shouldn't be allowed to do absolutely everything, or most things so it was. Turning around Karina saw a group of now about fifteen power wilds coming towards her. They where obviously not happy about her bailing on their fight to fight something else and got some friends to join. This wasn't going to be fun, she knew it. But at least it would gather them all in one place at one time. She could take them but a little help would be nice. That being said Stratos probably had his own group of heartless to worry about and didn't have time to help her with hers.

Man vs monkey (heartless) continued in this weeks exciting edition, pitting our young keyblade wielder, vs more power wielders. That being said, there weren't really that many heartless he could deal with at this point. At the moment, he was more so focused on just figuring Zantetsuken out, but seeing as it was no cool down at this point, he couldn't do that. Maybe learning just what cool downs were would help out too. After Stratos had spike dropped three of the power wilds with the ever so unwilling morning star heartless, Karina came over to kill the morning star in a pretty quick manner. Well that was nice of her. Sort of. He was pretty fond of using it as a weapon at the moment, but whatever, he'd make do without it. It was then that Karina had attracted a large group of heartless onto herself, one that gave him more flashbacks. Flashbacks of when there was a large circle of armored knights, well, circling around him. He continued thinking on it and realized that this had happened twice already. Once with the Zip Slasher and another during the Derpy the Derpmoth saga. Stratos then realized that there must have been something about him that intrinsically pissed off heartless. Probably his writer's boredom.

Anyway, now where there was a crowd of fifteen chasing after Karina, which after mathing a bit, Stratos realized that there were only seven other power wilds that weren't chasing her. While he would actually want to help her at this point, he had his own heartless to fight. Aka the seven that were chasing her who now seemed to want a little piece of the Stratos. However, seeing as she was in need, he wouldn't just leave her high and dry. Due to having been a while since last cast, and due to having some wounds from the ongoing fight, Stratos cast aero and cure for their respective issue on her. After having done that, he turned his attention to the other seven power wilds, he then realized that he just burnt out the mass amount of MP he had just accumulated, and so he was back at zero. Well this was annoying. It was even more annoying when the seven started to hop towards him, trying to claw murder his face off. With the one who seemed to be a bit ahead of the rest, when it had approached Stratos, it leaped at him.

However, unlike the last, this one seemed to move in some sort of zig zag formation as it moved through the air. Stratos had more war flashbacks, ones to that stick wielding bear, and had learned the skills and timing necessary to stop this heartless. Gripping the blade with two hands, Stratos got into a simple batters stance, and swatted the heartless away as it came through the air. With that, the heartless went flying away, and Stratos was completely safe from it. The others not so much. The remaining three had managed to get close, and so when they leaped at him it was a lot harder to deal with. With them being airborne, however, Stratos was able to use Vorpal Blitz on one, having the third hit connect while it was airborne, thus killing the heartless. This did not stop the heartless from intercepting him in midair, however, and so he got knocked to the ground with two monkeys on top of him. The heartless started to jump up and down on the keyblade wielder, acting as if he were some sort of trampoline. Stratos, while in pain from this, wasn't helpless, and managed to cast fire from his hand, blowing up one of them. With that done, he managed to get away from the other one by dodge rolling while on the ground. After that, he summoned his keyblade back and beat the tar out of the heartless, thus ending his round.

This battle had been going on for a very long time now. It felt as if they had been fighting for weeks with little to no breaks in between. Ananta stepped forward, getting ready to attack another heartless before she tripped over her own feet. Falling flat on her face, she propped herself up and laid on her stomach, recovering from the shock. Licking her lips, she was surprised when she tasted copper. Ananta looked down and saw specks of blood on the floor and frowned. Reaching into her pocket, she pulled a handkerchief out. It had her name written on it in the ancient language of her world. Underneath the word was a saying. 'Let the light of others in.' A saying that Ananta heard quite a lot in her life from...somebody. That same person she couldn't even remember the name of. Patting her lips and her nose, Ananta leaned her head back and began to wait for her nosebleed to pass by.

Her mind drifted and she remembered the day she received the handkerchief. It was her 10th birthday. The only people at her party were her parents and their friends' children. Fourteen children came over. None of them wanted to be anywhere near Ananta. Even when she was going to blow out the candles on her cake, they were busy giggling and talking to each other. Afterwards, they ate their cake and ran off to play in the backyard again. Ananta stood at the door, watching them play. Her mother appeared and forced her to go outside, leaving the door and going to wash dishes again. Walking closer to the children, Ananta saw they were making a pit filled with muddy water. When she approached, the children dared her to jump into the pool. Ananta refused and eventually was pushed into the water. The children laughed and pointed at her before one of them decided to run inside and tell her mother. Her mother walked outside, angrily, and pulled Ananta out of the water. She told her she shouldn't have made such a mess and tried to get the children to follow her in. Trying to tell her mother it was the opposite, she was met with only her mother shushing her and turning to the other children, telling them it was time to go inside and open presents. Turning back to Ananta, her mother told her to stand outside while she went to get her some clean clothes. Ananta sobbed and knelt down, crying. Opening her eyes when she heard a voice, she looked up to see a blank face handing her a handkerchief.

Ananta opened her eyes to realize she was imagining things and shook her head, folding the handkerchief back up and placing it in her pocket again. The nosebleed had stopped now and she was sure she'd be fine, so she stood up and looked at the Air Knockers nearby. Yet again they were having a small sparing match as she approached them. Her keyblade slammed into one of them multiple times before it disappeared, causing the other two to turn to Ananta. They were startled to see their friend was gone and soon tried to escape. Reaching forward, Ananta grabbed the tail of one of the Air Knockers and set it on fire. The heartless flapped around pitifully before she combo'd it to oblivion. Approaching the other heartless, Ananta saw it turn and attack her, slamming her with punches that she wasn't able to block. An opening appeared and she took the chance to attack the heartless, destroying it in the process.

Wind blew Karina's hair in her face initially before it it settled with Aero not entrapping her in a wind shield. Her hair still wave back and forth slightly in n the wind caused by aero, no matter how minimal that was. She then felt a familiar warmth fill her body, one that she had felt more than once through this battle as her pain minimized and her wounds started to heal. A pleasant feeling for sure. Though Stratos couldn't come over and help fight, he was still helping her through support, like he had been this entire battle. Although that was not a bad thing, After all she did have the physical strength to last her through the killing heartless just not so much the endurance, but that was what Stratos was good for. He had played a very good support for most of this battle and didn't doubt he would continue to do so whether she liked it or not it seemed, and as it stood she did. She definitely appreciated the support. Karina stood there in an epic fashion with her hair blowing slightly behind her, keyblade gripped tight in her hand, facing a horde of fifteen monkey's. There was only one thing off this however. In Karina's eyes there was a small amount of anger but more sadness than anything and very little determination. It kind of took away from the effect. Never the less Karina was still ready to fight, or the very least protect herself.

With that a couple of the monkey's threw themselves at her. With one swipe Karina interrupted their attack, throwing them to the side. Neither of them died but they where out of her way for now at least. The heartless didn't stop there however. One of the heartless came leaping after her to attack, an upward slash was what it took to intercept that one and send it flying out of her way. This unfortunately left an opening for a fourth power wild to attack her. Aero took most of the damage but she was not happy. With the attacking heartless out of the way for the most part, Karina thought it time to go on the offense and start taking out some of these annoying beasts, starting with the only one that actually got a hit in on her, the one that stood directly in front of her. Karina picked the heartless up and stabbed it with her keyblade like it was nothing, She then simply tossed it to the side to let it die. Karina then turned to look at the rest of the power wilds that she knocked out of the way. There where two to her left and one to her right, which to start with. Perhaps the one in front of her that was trying to catch her off guard while she was not paying attention. Karina reacted quickly with a poison edge followed by a fire strike to finish the heartless off. At this point she only had time to deal with the two to her left before she went back on the defense side of things for a bit. Karina didn't take her time getting over to the other two heartless. A short jog over and she stood in front of the wounded. Although their wounds where not enough to stop them from attacking, a sore mistake on their part. The heartless tried to jump at Karina and as each did she took them out with a single slash each. These heartless where not hard to beat but damn where they ever annoying to fight, especially when fifteen decide at once to have it out for you right after you finished fighting off nine.

Stratos was now ready to take down the last four that stood before him. Sure, he couldn't actually kill all of them, but he could come pretty damn near close to doing so. Alright, so, Stratos had to think about how he was going to approach these four. Now that they had seen his amazing home run hitting skills in action, they were likely not to just let him get away with that again. And so they most likely weren't going to leap at him once more. Bummer, really. This meant that he, too, had to be more cautious in his approach. However, he felt as though Zantetsuken had come off of its cool down, thus meaning it'd be a great opening move to use against them. However, he was still interested in learning more about how Zantetsuken even worked. Or commands in general, as they were pretty damn near mysterious. While some them is just common sense, like strike raid and the such, other ones made your body do physically impossible feats. Not to mention that they could basically interrupt any action you were doing, so long as it wasn't something like being hit. Then there was the fact that they just sort of made your body move on its own, and once you started it up you were locked into using said attack. Then there was the final mystery that was cool downs. Some sort of automatic restriction your body places on itself after a command is used.

So, Stratos decided that these heartless would be best used to test out what made commands so special. He had to try and physically force himself to not actually use them, but still use them at the same time. Perhaps if he tried to start them up, but not actually let his body follow through with the command itself, he could instead mimic the action that way. And so, getting into his familiar Iaido stance, and had the cherry blossom petals floating down from nowhere in general. It was then that Stratos noticed something interesting whilst in this stance. He had never paid much attention before, but during this command one actually gained some sort of passive ability to see the vital points of the heartless. More so than that. It was like he could see a point where if he cut at it, the entire heartless would just sort of fall apart and die. It wasn't at all large, and seemed to have to be done in a precise way, one which a normal attack would never manage to pull off. So that was one secret to Zantetsuken solved.

Stratos was about to attack using the command, however, he had ended up waiting too long, and felt his body basically tell him that the time had passed. The command was now on cool down once more, and Stratos would have to wait a bit longer. Whatever, Stratos had burned enough time just thinking about this that right now, he felt as though he just wanted to be completely reckless in attacking them. Crouching down, Stratos got ready to sprint at the heartless, and then ran straight at them. The power wilds were completely taken off guard at first, and Stratos was able to easily kill one of them solely by running into it and bulling out an assault of strikes, almost as if he was Karina (minus the whole slew of commands thing.) It was then that he turned to the others, and shot one with fire, and beat one over the head with his keyblade a few dozen more times. The last one tripped and hurt itself, thus wasting Stratos's bp and ending his turn.

Hearing Beuce’s words that he would be more active in their fight against the behemoth, ignoring the part about this Rienzel person, he felt slightly at ease since now it would be two versus one. Not one on one on one one...you get the point. Kel took a few steps back after he’d finished with his assault on the heartless. Now if there was one that he'd learn from when he was fighting the behemoth along, it was that if you used the same tactic enough times it will find a way to avoid it. Most likely in a ridiculous and completely unexpected way.

So once Beuce had finished making and had gotten injured by the Behemoth's attack, it was his turn to face the creature. So first thing that he did was to launch off another blizzard towards the heartless, though this one moving a lot slowly that the past ones that he has used. It was then that he held his keyblade similar to how one would hold a baseball bat and swung with most of his might at the slow moving shard of ice. Once the shard of ice met with the force that the keyblade had, it shattered into many pieces all shattering towards the Behemoth. Once again the behemoth was met by a rain of ice, in fact two of the shards injured its eyes, again blinding it. No doubt this would definitely tick off the behemoth, but Kel could honestly care less about that.

As the heartless gave out a pained roar as Kel moved into attack. Holding his keyblade in a reverse grip fashion, the blade lit on fire as he got within striking range of the behemoth. First he delivered two quick strikes to the legs that were still grounded, which lead to the heartless making a futile attempt at trying to kick Kel away with its hind legs, once it was managed to get back on the ground of course. Kel had managed to dodge the attack, which gave him the opening he needed to strike the heartless again with his flaming keyblade. This time he made sure to strike its as many times as he possibly could before dodging an attack. Once the attack was dodge, he would repeat the cycle, striking each of its legs as many times as he could. His hit and run tactic came to a halt when he ended up in front of the heartless again. Naturally by this by point the Behemoth wasn't all to fond of what Kel was doing and thus went for another attack. This one surprisingly faster than the last. In fact the speed alone had caught Kel of guard so he was just barely able to guard the attack. He was still sent back a considerable amount of distance and was hurt, but he still didn't feel the need to heal himself just yet. Probably because most of the other occasions where he healed himself he was in worse condition than he was now. So unless the behemoth, and if it does do this there will be some BS to be called, shrinks down to human size and or suddenly learns kung fu, he didn't have to worry about getting beat down by numerous blows at once. There was still the risk of getting hit by one powerful attack, but so long as he could dodge or block most of it, then he should be fine for this one behemoth. That was when he realized that there were 9 more that he would have to deal with after this one was done with. "So how long til we make our gruesome last stand?" Kel asked in a tired, but joking manner.

Stratos was now getting ready to kill the last of the heartless in his group. As it were, there was only one power wild left that needed to be slayed by Stratos's keyblade. Ah yes, the ending of this chapter in the battle against the monkey heartle- wait there was still the giant mob attacking Karina. Well then, Stratos decided that he shouldn't make this needlessly dramatic. Needlessly complicated, however, was an entirely different story. Furthermore, he still had skill command theory to both think of and make up on the fly. So, how was he going to go about this then? Well, there were many options to this. The easiest way to do it would be to cast a spell. Something like fire or blizzard, hell even mine square, as overkill as it would be, would definitely get the job done against this lone single heartless. There were other options to take as well. Ones like just running up to it and beating it senseless with his bare hands and/or keyblade. Then there was the vorpal blitz command, which had finished its cool down and was now ready and waiting to be used. He could also completely over kill it by waiting for Zantetsuken to go off cool down, and then just use it to one shot the heartless. While this would also help him further his study of zantetsuken, it meant that he would have to wait way too long to kill just one remaining heartless. No, there was one final option that stuck out to him. One greater than the rest in terms of sheer awesomeness and over kill that it could not be measured.

The power wild started to charge at him, and while Stratos had the idea set for what he wanted to have done in this fight, the heartless was too fast in attacking the young wielder mid thought. And so, he had to quickly draw out his keyblade and dodge the first strike of the monkey heartless. With its claws outstretched it started to scratch at him, and so Stratos used his keyblade to block against the oncoming strike and pushed the heartless back. It then came in to leap at him, to which Stratos dodge rolled past it, only to then put up his guard once more as the power wild tried to do a follow up attack, clawing at his back. While Stratos was able to successfully guard against the attack, the desperate monkey heartless clung to the keyblade and did not let go, as it then leaped off of it onto Stratos's back. Sighing at the turn of events, Stratos realized that this power wild was proving difficult to kill, and so he just used a watered down version of what he was originally going to do. With his chest glowing, Stratos pounded the glowing heart of his, and let out a large dome of solar fire around him. The power wild was engulfed immediately, and thus obliterated and killed. Well that was a good use of one bp.

Turning over to the rest of the power wilds that were attacking Karina, he now had the opportunity to completely wipe them out, and thus he went over to help out his teammate. It was then that he felt as though the entire tussle was long enough, so that Zantetsuken was now off cool down. Man these were ambiguous timings. It was then that Stratos took his Iaido stance and noticed the sweet spots on the heartless once more. Focusing all of his energy on those point, Stratos blitzed forward toward a large swarm of the power wilds, and struck all of them at once with Zantetsuken. With that, Stratos killed seven more power wilds...wait where the hell did this sort of strength come from?

Not letting up the heat, he continued to press his frontal assault against the behemoth. Under the protection of full deck, the behemoth kicked and fired spells multiple times, but to no avail. Beuce reached the creature and struck at its front legs a few times before backing off. It wasn't long after that full deck wore off. He could feel the power of the cheshire cat growing weaker and weaker. He'd use one last effect to finish this behemoth off in the end. "Well, considering Karina and Stratos have been tearing up east side over there with no help at all because the power of non-stat based missions op, i'd say that won't be for quite a while Kelly." He said to his blue-haired comrade. If they kept up at this pace, they would finish the mission before long. He looked at the behemoth, trying to size up about how much more damage it would be able to take. His conclusion, he'd be able to finish it off by himself.

Carefully evading to the side as it shot thunder bolt after thunder bolt at him, he made his advance back into melee range of the monstrous heartless. Flinging a strike raid at the horn, he cast an ice spell at the foot of the heartless. The ice spread around the hoof and encased it, freezing it solid onto the ground and rooting it in place. With some effort, the behemoth could likely break through the ice, but a second of its feet was frozen in place by a well timed vorpal blitz. his keyblade was cloaked in an icy aura, and he slashed it across the hoof, causing ice to spead out and consolidating around the foot, sealing a second one to the ground. Since there were three strikes to a vorpal blitz, the aura remained coated onto the keyblade. Using the magic from a poison edge, the two combined and made a dark purple ice blade around the keyblade. It was long and thin, almost in the shape of a Katana but not quite the same. Slightly thicker, and more rounded. Still underneath the bound creature's stomach, he stabbed and slashed upward, creating gash after gash in the poor heartless' underbelly. With one last thrust, he plunged it into the thing and let go, then ran out from behind the creature. Running vertically up the wall because screw physics he's a badass and can do that, he back flipped onto the Behemoth's back.

With force of will, he called his keyblade to come to him. Shaking as it was still stabbed in the underbelly, it flew straight through the thing's back and into Beuce's hand, leaving a full on hole in its place. The behemoth groaned weakly and collapsed onto its stomach. It was just about finished. It couldn't go on with the fight much longer, if at all. The only thing left was to finish it off.He leaped down off of it and walked in front of its face. That derpy light in the eyes of all behemoths, it was gone. They had broken its spirit. He almost felt bad for the thing. In some ways, he'd grown attached to it. He'd miss free wily cat. So, instead of giving it a quick death, he decided to finish the fight with it in the most brutal and badass way he could think of, because the revenge part won out. Raising his hand into the air, he spoke to his summon. "Cheshire, one last thing. You know what i mean. The same as the Jabberwoky." Seemingly having understood, a small piece of cake was conjured in his hand. This fight was just about done.

Karina simply watched as the horde of power Wilds that where after her slowly diminished, and by Stratos's hand none the less. Man that kid was fast, or he had one dedicated poster who had no life. Either way now there was only four to deal with. Not only that but Karina seemed to be filled with a new refreshed power. For some reason sue felt that she could do twice as much as before, endure longer before she had to take a break. Or that was stop fighting because they where only allowed to use a certain amount of battle points per turn. Either way it was a good feeling knowing that she could hold out longer, do more, and finish this fight in a more reasonable time frame. It had been going on for so long already and Karina had been through so much in her own mind she was just tired and cranky and didn't know what to do anymore. Currently she was handling her emotions alright, but with the stress of this battle she didn't know how long it would hold. She probably already seemed bipolar to those around her. She could deal with people thinking she was depressed it the thought of bipolar sort of annoyed her. She did have some sanity.

Karina finally sorting through her thoughts started to move preparing for battle against the remaining power Wilds. There where not many so it wouldn't take long. The remaining question was simply this. What would she focus on next? But Karina didn't have time to thinking that, due to the remaining four heartless attacking her all at once. Karina was light on her feet to back away before turning and beginning her attack. No more defensive fighting, it would all be on the offence until they all died, which wasn't long now. Karina charged forward at them, hacking and slashing, cutting her way through. One by one the four of them fell, leaving Karina standing their in victory, and just in time for aero to wear off. As it did it sent another gust of wind blowing Karinas hair around behind her as she stood with her keyblade looking victorious. None of this was intentional either.

Now with thise heartless down Karina looked around fir her next prey. Her eyes laid on a behemoth not far from her. Though scared to see what stupid moves this one hand up its sleeve Karina still figured it the best place to focus due to her new found power and not knowing how long it would last. Karina cautiously approached this one, being almost hesitant ti start attacking it. It's back was to her so it had not noticed her yet but Karina knew that would change soon enough when she climbed on its back. With one high jump she landed on Iran waited..... Nothing like it hadn't even noticed. Karina took a couple steps closest it's head. Still nothing. What was this heartless playing at? A few steps more and she was at its horn. The heartless didn't finch. Looking at its eyes it seemed to be asleep. "Well here goes nothing." Karina shrugged as she prepared to attack the sleeping behemoth knowing it could go horribly wrong. Karina started a basic combo on its horn before she finished it off with a splatter combo. Standing on its head she clenched her teeth and stood unsure. Soon it would awake and then what? What was this behemoth like? How would it attack? And most of all how powerful was it? Karina.a didn't know so she simply waited....

He brought the piece of cake to his lips and bit down on it. It was sweet and creamy, as one would expect of such a pastry. However, this was no ordinary cake. As soon as he took a bit of the cake, power began to well up inside him. His physical size increased more and more, until eventually he was bigger than the behemoth itself. He looked down upon the broken creature and gripped its tusk.he raised its off the ground with one hand. Now, he was far stronger than it was, and it could do nothing about it. "Well, looks like it's over for you, old free wily cat." Turning, he hurled the heartless at the wall across on the other end of the north side. The impact against the bookcase shook the entire library, and books collapsed down onto the poor behemoth. A small pink heart floated up from beneath the heartless as a single book master was in the wrong place at the wrong time and had been crushed. Weakly, the behemoth tried to get up, but was kicked back down. His left hand was placed around the tusk again, and his foot against the behemoth's face.

He pulled, harder and harder, until finally the body part snapped off of its face. The behemoth roared in pain, but could do nothing to stop it from happening. By his other tusk, free wily cat was thrown high into the air, and as it came down...a splat was heard. The tusk which was ripped from its mouth now pierced right through the center of its forehead. That was the finishing blow. It exploded into a burst of black smoke, and the pink heart glowing with light that once resided in the creature floated into the sky and faded from view. From this rather brutal display, the other heartless were somewhat scared of him. Hesitant to approach the man who had just decimated a behemoth. Shrinking down into his regular form. The markings from the cheshire cat faded away into purple steam and the light enveloping the library faded away, as though it had never been there at all. The cat was gone, and along with it his help and havoc. None of the effects would be applied any longer. Cracking his knuckles, he prepared to take out some more heartless. Evidently, it had only been like four minutes in Rp time. Funny thing, considering how much had gotten done it it. Mostly on east side but still.

Turning around, he decided on the exact phrase "To hell with literature." and attacked the heartless behind him. Book masters, as the variety was called. They swatted at him with their books, but most hits were parried. The occasional attack got through from either side, creating an injury on the opposing combatant. Finally, Beuce kinda cheated and used slow, followed by empowering his weapon and performing a massive combo fueled by his heart power. That was one down, now for the second. Sliding beneath the heartless as it swung a vertical sweep at him, he spun around and dug his heel into its back. it stumbled forward and fell victim to a quick basic combo. Like all other heartless, it vanished into a puff of black smoke proportionate to its size. However, Beuce wasn't the only one who could attack from behind. a ball of magical fire struck him from behind and exploded. He winced at the pain, but he wasn't too injured by it. Turning around, he batted a second one back at the bookmaster. It was injured and stunned by the ball of magic, but not entirely killed.

Stratos was now getting ready to fight more heartless, but first, more questioning. He had no idea what the hell had just happened, actually. Sure, he was aware Zantetsuken was a really strong command, and sure, it was something that could hit multiple targets at once, but he was not expecting that in the slightest. He should, in no way have the strength to bring down that many heartless down, through any means, let alone a single attack. So how was that even possible? He then realized that it was probably due to his new understanding of the Zantetsuken command as a whole. Sure, he didn't feel like he had done anything different, but he had known where to attack, and knowing was apparently half the battle. As if getting a second wind for this fight, he also felt as though he could take on more heartless than ever before in this fight. Why, he had absolutely no idea whatsoever. However, now was not the time to think about why or how things worked, but rather the time for action, and thinking on when necessary to use Command Theory in order to use as a post word buffer.

While he was thinking of how to do such a thing, it was then that his partner in crime here, Karina, went on a tear and killed the last four power wilds on her own. Well that was good. She then went on to attack another behemoth heartless, only for Stratos to realize that she too must poses this new found surge of strength just as he had. Well that was good. If they were both dishing out twice the damage right now, then there was no way that they could lose at this rate. As she attacked the behemoth by hitting its horn a good number of times, the behemoth didn't move at all. And on further inspection, the behemoth wasn't even awake. Looking at the sleeping creature, Stratos wondered just what the hell was with the thing, and just what its gimmick was going to be. As he approached it himself, he figured he'd start attacking the sleeping creature, just to get in as much damage as physically possible before it did wake up. However, when he did get close enough, the heartless's eyes opened in an instant. They started to glow blue and the heartless itself turn pure white, sprouting these glowing white wings and then slowly ascending to the sky. After floating up for a bit, a halo made of pure golden light formed around the behemoth, and thus Stratos realized what was going on. If they had just killed a satanic behemoth, than this one was an angelic one.

As he got ready to attack it, the heartless seemed to give him no quarter, and started charging up its horn with some kind of blue energy. It then released a beam into the air from its horn, which followed with several beams raining down from the sky on both of them. Stratos had also read about this kind of magic before. It was indeed a powerful kind, and one that he was not expecting a heartless to be able to use. This was Holy magic. And so, with the magic trying to kill him, Stratos started to dodge roll away, only to get back on his keyglider and fly straight for the thing. When he got close enough, he jumped off and turned his glider back into a blade, and then proceeded to let loose an air combo followed by a vorpal blitz. After having done that, He fired off a single fire spell, thus ending his turn against this.

Karina was still standing on the behemoths head when it awoke from it's slumber after seeming to not care for her at first. It's initial movements where not big, nothing that would cause her to fall or think of needed to get off it's head, so she stayed, it was the best place to attack from due to it having the best access to the horn, the weakest point to attack from. A slight rumble was felt under Karina's feat before she felt the behemoth really starting to be moving. As it took off into the air, Karina lost her balance and went tumbling off the Behemoth. She expeced movement and was prepared for it but didn't expect it to be fricken flying. Since when did Behemoths fly? Weren't they too big and fat to fly, like look at the size of them. The fall from the behemoths back was fairly long and ended up knocking the wind out of Karina. She lay on her back for a moment just looking up at the angelic behemoth. She should have known that was coming, after seeing Satan and all an angel was not that far of a stretch. It seemed these behemoths had any and every form that you could possibly think of. What sort of power did Aux have to summon these?

It was then the behemoth started it's rain of attack, He was literally raining down lasers with some sort of light magic. What the hell was this. Karina rolled to the side to dodge one before forcing herself to her feet, running a bit to dodge a few more. Stratos then went to start his attack set. Karina stayed behind and observed for the time being. She wanted to know how else it fought. She was thankful that at least this one she couldn't feed it's power, she had not much light in her to speak of. As Stratos finished his combo she turned to him. "Well I am no where near an angel so I don't know how I will fight this one, but perhaps a demon will win for once." She joked as she out right stated she was a demon. She believed it too. It wasn't entirely a joke though she said it in a joking manner, she believed that she brought hell where ever she went and was indeed a demon of some sort, or at least the closest you can get while being a mere mortal.

With that Karina got ready to attack. Her skill set was especially honed to aerial enemies. That would be a good start with the whole demon beating an angel sort of thing. She jumped into the air starting her assault with an aerial combo, the next thing she used was vorpal blitz. Karina landed on the ground for a couple seconds before finishing her move set with an aerial slam that knocked the angel to the ground. Even with that it got right back up and flew high into the air away from them once again. The rain of lasers started once again for a short amount of time. It was soon after that it charged another attack from it's horn, this one more aimed, and of course aimed at Karina, because why wouldn't it be. A single concentrated laser shot from the sky towards Karina. As she ran it followed her. Nearing a wall she was forced to dodge roll to the side and hope it would work. Thankfully it did. The heartless ended it's laser attack as soon as it hit the wall. Karina had to take a moment to catch her breath before she started attacking once again. The angel did not seem to be to fond of the demon.

Everything hurt. Her head, her face, her arms, her legs, her torso, her hands, her feet, and even her butt. Ananta wasn't going to let that keep her from slamming some heartless and trying to protect this place. In fact, as she stood there, she could feel everyone's will to beat all these heartless and try to save this place from falling. Each of them had their reasons, but they were all working towards this goal. "I wish I was as strong as some of the people here." Ananta said to herself, running towards an Air Knocker and attacking it. 'Then I wouldn't have to struggle so much. If I was as strong as Karina, I'd never have to worry...life would be easy...' she thought, frowning. The heartless disappeared and she landed on the ground, wobbling a little bit.

'But Karina herself said she's not that great of a person...or at least that's what I'm getting...I think. I don't know.' she sighed, falling back as an Air Knocker slammed into her. It left a red spot on her skin that was surely going to bruise. 'At least she can remember people. I can't even remember one person. Well, one person that's obviously very important to me.' she corrected herself, standing ready to fight the Air Knocker that attacked her a moment ago and it's buddy. They both zoomed in to try and attack. Ananta reached forward and grabbed them, watching them struggle as her ice froze their heads, letting them drop to the ground and disappear. "Regardless, I'm sure I'll remember her later. She's important to me aft-" she stopped.

Her. She. Woman. Lady. "When did I remember that the person is a woman? How...strange..." she shook her head, looking at two more Air Knockers in front of her. They were both in her way as she ran towards them and began to beat down on one of them. The fight lasted for a little bit, what with each of them defending and attacking equal amounts of time. In the end, Ananta came out victorious, but her right arm was hurting from the blow from earlier. It was impacting her ability to defend the entire attack. As such, she tried to block the next Air Knocker, but was unsuccessful. "Gack!" she said, as the heartless punched her in her stomach. She fell to her knees and gripped her stomach, coughing. Her hand covered her mouth as she looked around frantically. Running to a plant, Ananta tried to hide herself as she began to vomit in the plant.

Returning to the heartless, Ananta looked pretty terrible. Her breathing was labored and she still felt like she needed to throw up a little. "Y-you're an as-" she was about to say before she started to cough. "-hole...ugh" she grunted, Green healing magic erupted from her hand, flowing into her body when she pressed her hand against her stomach. The healing magic lessened the pain and she didn't feel like throwing up any longer, but it still hurt a lot. "Time for some PAYBACK!" she said, smiling and running towards the heartless. Her hand grabbed the heartless and she looked around her. Another Air Knocker was nearby, but it hadn't noticed her. She ran towards it, still holding one Air Knocker, and she began to beat this new one with it. Eventually, they both disappeared and Ananta was left alone to watch their hearts float away together, spiraling before disappearing themselves. "I hope these hearts are able to go back somewhere...to something..." she said.

So this heartless was actually pretty ridiculous. He wasn't entire sure what to be expecting from the mighty angelic behemoth heartless, Michael, but what he could do was just observe and use that knowledge in order to attack against the mighty being. There was also the problem of Karina being flung off its back as it took off into the air, and while it did seem to be quite the painful fall, she didn't seem to mind it too much. Joking about how she was some sort of demon that would kill this angel, Karina then jumped after it. It was a good thing that her whole command set was basically tailored towards killing aerial enemies, or else this might have been way more difficult than it was originally planned to be...wait a second, damage didn't matter at all in this fight. In fact, Stratos didn't even technically have to do anything and it would still get injured all the same, so long as he ended up posting that it was indeed getting hurt. Whatever, she just had an aerial command set and that was totally useful for no particular reason, then. Regardless of this mini rant, she still had taken quite the fall, and so he quickly ended up casting cure on her in order to keep her alive.

However, as she had finished her attack set, the archangel heartless started raining down lasers from the sky once more. So, Stratos had to swiftly dodge out of the way in order to not get lasered, and continued observing what the heartless was doing. As it finished its laser rain, it then shot a single, more powerful one, that seemed to track down Karina and tried to kill her. Thankfully she managed to get away from it, but the danger was still real as Stratos had to now go out of his way to attack the thing. As he looked up, the purple hue that had permeated the entirety of the room seemed to dissipate, and thus that meant Stratos couldn't get lucky and get something amazing happen to him. Conversely, it meant that he couldn't get absolutely screwed as he was at the beginning of the entire fight. So, he simply hopped on his keyglider and flew forward towards the giant behemoth heartless, getting ready to take him on with his massive five strength stat, (with a plus two modifier but we don't talk about that.)

As he approached it, he quickly let loose his keyglider in his strike raid-esque attack, only for the heartless to do something that he was not expecting in the slightest. Gathering this energy that surrounded its entire body, the heartless then let loose it all at once, turning it into some sort of large dome that encased him. As the glider came in contact with the barrier, it simply bounced off. Well apparently this thing could cast protect now. Whatever. Stratos then realized that if this thing was going defense his immediate counter would be magic, and so he quickly ignited one of his hands. With a fireball taking shape in his palm, Stratos quickly flung it towards the heartless, and then summoned his keyglider to make he didn't fall to the ground and break something. The fire spell managed to connected with the heartless, however it was still trying to attack even more, with an even more deadly attack. The heartless started to charge its body again, and then Stratos saw a red line go straight through him. The line didn't hurt, no, it was more of an indicator. Fearing the worst to come, Stratos quickly Zantetsukened (using his keyglider) through the behemoth, avoiding the attack. The attack in question was simply just a giant linear laser beam that seemed to carry massive destruction with it. Well that was certainly something to be cautious of.
