Stratos was now flying through the air again, doing his sort of aggro thing. At this point, the assault riders were basically going to get destroyed, it was just a matter of time. This sort of stalling was something he was completely use too at this point, and seemed to be getting easier. Wait, that wasn't a good thing in the slightest. It meant he was getting too used to this fighting. Stratos came to a realization that this whole fighting thing was actually starting to become boring. The original rush of feelings he had at the start of this whole endeavor was fading. While he thought that fighting, at first, could probably be some kind of fun, any sort of blood knight tendency he was gaining was now gone as he had been at this for nearly fifty posts and no sort of progress was made yet. They weren't even half done for all the work they had put in yet. And they were the farthest along out of group as well. Like, what the hell was even doing right now. Not to mention Aden and Base weren't moving at all. Ah well, he still had to fight because if he didn't then they would literally never be done and, more importantly, he'd die. That'd be pretty bad.

Snapping himself out of that sort of random thought process, he continued flying around and nearly crashed into an assault rider. Nearly. If these battles were getting boring, than he needed to do something to make them exciting. With that, he had managed to aggro the assault rider horde back onto him, and kept his pace at a slow one as to allow the heartless to not loose interest in him. Also, they would completely cut loose and just run full speed at him otherwise, and that would be bad for Karina, who needed to kill them. Granted, she seemed to start using her keyglider to keep at this pace, making it easier for her to kill them anyway, but hey he was still being considerate regardless. Also, despite doing that, she seemed to jump into the mop and just take all the hits, forsaking guarding, which was a tad bit of a problem. Once he got enough MP back, he'd be sure to cast cure on her again, to make sure she didn't get herself killed. However, the assault riders definitely wanted him dead now, striking at them with their spears every which way, trying to impale him on their spears as they brought the message of the Shadow Isles with them.

However, he had managed to avoid them, only to know what would come before it even happened. Almost as if he had developed some sort of sixth sense for this sort of thing. Managing to high jump before the shadow even cast on top of him, Stratos managed to avoid a kick from Derpy the Derpmoth, who was now kicking faster than ever before. The foul beast seemed ready to give it its all against the opponent it had been kicking along like a soccer ball thus far. Noting that he hadn't even seen it yet, he knew that Derpy could be anywhere, and simply brought up his keyblade to his back to block against any oncoming strike from behind, and managed to take a kick to the keyblade. He quickly turned around, albeit sailing through the air now, and managed to see his foe, staring there. Summoning his keyblade pack, Stratos quickly ignited the tip and his body stopped its natural movement as cherry blossoms began to fall. Combining both Zantetsuken and trip around the sun all at once. Granted, it did no extra damage, it just looked cool.

Karina stood across the room staring down the Assault rider that she started to attack before Derpy the Derpmoth so rudely interrupted her. Oh how she wished that Stratos would deal with the heartless he aggroed so she could deal with the Behemoth. She had some pay back to do, but on the other hand, so did Stratos. Derpy did hate him far more then he hated her, it kept kicking him around. She it got a few kicks in on her, but soon after it always went back to Statos. Come to think of it Stratos was not being given much of an opportunity to fight these other heartless, so perhaps it was fair that she handled them. Or perhaps she could help Stratos finish off the Behemoth then they both worry about the assault riders, but seeing as how the behemoth was on so low health already Karina decided it would be a better use of her time to just take on the heartless and leave the Behemoth to Stratos to finish off. He had worked so heart do deserve it after all so may as well throw him a bone once and a while, he WAS being surprisingly nice through her emotional breakdown after all.

Karina took a deep breath, attempting to suppress feelings and pull herself together before hopping back on her keyblade glider and racing towards the heartless that she had started taking out before Derpy showed up and decided to be a dick and kick her across the room. "I can do this... I can keep myself together a little longer. I was fine before during all the words and fights... so why now?" Karina's pep talk to herself quickly changed into questioning her own mental health. It was definitely something she would have to sort out eventually, something she planned to do on her own. Asking for help was something that Karina rarely thought of doing and never thought of when it came to her mental health. That was something that she had to work out on her own, she always thought it that way and never wanted to share anything that had to do with the cause of her mental state or even about herself. She didn't think people needed to know nor did she ever want to burden people with the knowledge and details. figuring out her mental state was something for her to do herself, but not now, not in the middle of battle. Later she would find a place to lock herself in and think.... Well that is if they had anywhere to go after this.

Karina neared the heartless. It was time to actually fight and not continue thinking and contemplating her life. Lowering her keyblade glider as close to the ground as it could go before stepping off in front of the seriously injured assault rider. Karina's eyes where stern as she began to fight, but at the same time that she was serious she was also zoned out. Even with that she was able to take out the weakened heartless. Karina then turned to another. This one was also injured but not by much. Karina had to focus slightly more to take out this one, dodge some attacks and be slightly tactful, but in the end she was still pretty zoned out and fighting rather sloppily. Karina finished that heartless off with a strike raid which also happened to hit another assault rider just behind the first one. It was barely a scratch to that one, but any little thing helped. The more damage she could get done to any of the heartless really, the better it was for them.

The Behemoth was particularly happy that Ananta was on it's head and attacking it's horn. After she finished her initial attacks on the horn, Ananta had grabbed on to try and not fall off. She wanted to think about what to do next, but she wasn't able to afford such a thing. The Behemoth began to thrash and stomp about, trying to knock Ananta off. Gripping the horn tightly, Ananta latched her legs around the horn and kept holding on, trying to not fall off. As the thrashing began to lessen, Ananta let go and stood back up, thinking she was free to move about and possibly attack again. "That didn't last too long..." she mumbled, looking down at the giant heartless. Just as she said that, it began to thrash again and Ananta wasn't able to get a good grip on the horn. As it moved about, she fell off and landed hard on the floor below. The Behemoth had moved to the other side of the west gate, huffing and exhaling loudly.

Ananta groaned as she stared at the ceiling. "I hit my head, ugh..." she complained, sitting up rigidly. The shock from hitting the ground had shook her entire body, making it hard for her to move Ananta rubbed her back, feeling sore in more spots than one, and glared at the Behemoth. "Okay, you're going to go down you stupid beast, that really hurt!" she yelled at it, using her keyblade to prop herself up and soon stand up. "Well, I guess for now I can leave that huge heartless be. Because right now, there are far too many smaller ones that could use a good beating. Although they don't look all too small..." she said, coughing a little. That fall really hurt, knocking the wind out of her and making her hit her head. "Luckily I'm hard headed." she chuckled, looking around at the heartless that were flying about.

The heartless that had bat like wings were gliding about, minding their own business. They tried to swipe at her comrades on this side occasionally, but they didn't really manage to hit anyone, at least. "Guess I could try and fight some of these ones." Ananta decided, nodding towards one of the Air Pirates. Running forwards, she jumped up at it, casting a shadow on the Air Pirate. It turned to Ananta and soon met it's end with a swift keyblade strike that was coupled with a blizzard spell shortly before. The heartless froze in air and was shattered from her keyblade striking it and it disappeared.

To her left, an Air Pirate was zooming in fast, trying to attack Ananta. To her right, yet another Air Pirate was zooming towards her. "Either they're dumb or they intentionally want to make my job easier." she chuckled, jumping up at the last second and watching the two heartless collide and fall down, knocking each other out. Ananta landed on one of the Air Pirates and caused it to disappear. "Huh, who knew my foot was so deadly. Must have a lead foot or something." she chuckled, The other heartless had begun to stir and was attempting to fly again. Ananta quickly saw to it's demise.

Looking up from what she was doing, Ananta looked to see an Air Pirate was right in front of her. "Oh CRAP." she said, holding her keyblade up to defend herself from it's attack. Grabbing the heartless, Ananta swung around and threw it towards the Behemoth. The heartless landed on it's horn, disappearing almost immediately. "And for good measure, you lummox..." Ananta said, shooting a fire spell at the Behemoth.

Stratos was continuing to fly around on his keyglider, only now, aggroing the assault riders wasn't even a priority of his in the slightest. Derpy the Derpmoth, the one single heartless that had become his mortal enemy, was all that he could concentrate on now. The two of them had been going back and forth for quite some time, but now, the end game was nearing for their long and drawn out duel. Stratos need only post thrice more, and Derpy himself would be no longer one with this world. He had managed to take it on, with a little help from Karina, but for the most part he had done the grand majority of damage to this thing. It was almost as if they now had some sort of weird battle connection, where either Derpy killed Stratos or the opposite happened. While that was an obvious thing regardless of any weird anime ass cliches, this went deeper then just primal instinct to kill each other out of defense. Regardless, the behemoth was starting to become one large force to be reckoned with. While it still never moved its body in the slightest, as if it only had one frame in all of its non attack animations, and sure it only had one attack in total, but it was becoming increasingly difficult to deal with.

The behemoth's kicks were starting to come out at a more rapid fire rate, and there was barely anything he could do to keep up with the attack. If he saw the shadow cast over him, then he would have already known that it was too late, and that the behemoth would have already found its opening on the young keyblade wielder. There was nothing he could do to guard against the attack once he saw it coming now, for it would simply hit him too quickly and would then allow Derpy to attack him in his confusion once more. So Stratos had begun analyzing its attack patterns. When and where it struck at him from. Why was another good question that needed an answer, and it was one that he had figured out awhile ago. Derpy only ever seemed to attack him whenever he felt completely safe from all the other heartless. Almost as if it could sense that, and simply wanted to cause him more trouble than was actually necessary. And so, Stratos had decided to use that knowledge to his advantage.

He quickly flew down to deal draw the aggro from the assault riders, only to get at a comfortable pace and distance away from that. And so, it was at that moment, that Stratos had figured out just what the heartless was going to do next. While he had no idea where the attack was coming from, he knew it was coming. And so Stratos had preformed a high jump into the air, avoiding a foot that came straight out of left field and kicked away his keyglider. Turning to face his nemesis, Derpy the Derpmoth, the two locked eyes for a brief moment...or at least whatever Derpy's variation on that was. And so he went in to attack the behemoth with his bare hands. No seriously, Stratos did an air combo with his bare hands, just so he could chain that together with summoning his keyblade to his hand, and attacking it with another air combo. Stratos then chained a vorpal blitz into this string, which he then chained another air combo onto. Gaining more and more MP from this onslaught on the behemoth, Stratos then cast blizzard from his keyblade, send a chunk of ice shattering against the behemoth's horn and thus ending Stratos's fight with it for the time being.

While Beuce was busy staring at the now charred and shorter skirt that Karina wore, Kel took this chance to strike the Behemoth while he could. So with keyblade in hand, he ran towards the behemoth. This time around the heartless noticed him before he was right in front of it and rose up on its hind legs. While that did absolutely nothing with Kel still having some distance between him and the heartless, by the time its two front hooves came towards the ground with the help of gravity, Kel was in range of being squashed by the heartless again.

However this time around the young wielder wasn’t in a state of pure shock so was able to dodge and strike the leg with ease. His actions, as expected, didn’t please the heartless in the slightest and was clearly shown when it went into a stomping rampage, trying to flatten Kel. Fortunately for Kel he was able to dodge and strike each leg repeatedly while he was under the Behemoth. It even came to the point where Kel had grabbed on to one if its legs during the frenzy, which despite increasing the risk of him being crushed if he’d fell off, gave him an easy way of completely beating on one of the legs till the Behemoth collapsed on that said leg.

By that point Kel had already made sure to release the leg. Now that it was stumbling to try and get back on its injured leg, it was a golden chance to deal more damage to the beast. The question was what was the most effective way that he could deal damage it. Sure he could just use Zantetsuken and be done with it, but that was more of a finishing attack. So if he could find some other attacks to combo it with and then use Zantetsuken, then could deal even more damage compared to just using Zantetsuken. Well that took care of the planning process, but he still needed a way to effective use all them.

Kel thought about it for a moment and came up with one idea. In fact, one of his ideas almost seemed like the one that he was going to do, if it wasn’t for the fact that he was nowhere near fast enough to perform all the quick movements that the plan required him to do. Now if he could, then it would definitely be awesome for him to go through with this plan. Moving on to the next idea that he had, there wasn’t all that much that was out of his range of doing. In fact, all of it was within his capabilities and that was what sealed the deal on what he was going to do.

First thing that he did was to stab his keyblade into the ground in an angle. Then he waited for the behemoth to turn to face him, where it would be greeted by a simple, yet provoking taunt from Kel. Everything that followed went according to his plan. Seemingly enraged by the taunt the Behemoth ran towards the wielder like a bull seeing red. Now this was definitely a huge risk that he was taking, for Kel waiting till the beast was almost able to completely mow him over before stomping on his keyblade, flicking the heartless into the air. Next he sent another blizzard spell into the air before recalling his keyblade back to his hand and getting in the preparation stance for Zantetsuken, only this time it was aimed upwards towards the falling heartless. As the snow and cherry blossoms fell from the sky, Kel unleashed Zantetsuken on the heartless, which also shattered the blizzard spell above it. While the behemoth fell towards the ground, the piece of ice that was shattered by Zantetsuken broke into smaller pieces, all of which rained down onto the Behemoth with the help of gravity, which forcefully caused the behemoth to come crashing down onto the ground behind Kel. The impact had cause some dust to fly into the air and once again placed the heartless in a small daze.

This would of been the easiest kill yet. The air pirate conveniently dived right down when she extended the keyblade in front of her. It also happened a bit too fast that she just laid there debating if she killed it or not. Soon enough a pink heart answered her question right away, however, the sudden vibration on the ground quickly made her jump back on her feet. The behemoth shook the earth violently as it kept hitting it with its front legs. Luckily, the powerful waves emitting from it weren't traveling far enough to reach her, otherwise it would have certainly knocked her out. Rain was no expert on heartless but as she looked closely at the behemoth, it's horn or whatever was on top of its head had a glowing dome around it. "That must be some kind of barrier. Barriers protect and to protect it must be something either important or vital such as....his weak spot perhaps?" She took a quick glance from the floor to the top of the beast examining the height." Well god knows I can't jump that high" then another glance at its shape. "huh, it's upper body is big and bulky while the lower part is small kinda like a gorilla. Maybe I can use that as a ramp to get to its head or something but how would one do so without it noticing.." Looking up she noticed the air battlers flying higher than the rest of the heartless around. "They might provide me a little boost" She twirled her key then threw it straight up at one of the battlers so that it would hopefully catch one of their attention but it quickly came back down due to lack of strength. "Alrighty then, they say anger is the fuel for power so" she summoned it back into her hand and thought back at the memories that has made her heat up inside. Rain gave it another twirl and tried again. This time it went three times the length of last time and sorta stepped back in case it hit the ceiling. She was more focused on making it go higher than actually aiming so instead of attracting an air battler she instead killed one. "So much for that idea.."

At some point, Steel had decided that using the Behemoth's horn as an execution range seemed like a good idea. Leaving the creature for now, he sought out a few more aerial enemies to impaled upon it. Before long he locked his gaze on an Air Knocker and promptly dashed towards it. It aimed it's gloved at him in an attempt to ward of its attacker with punches. However, every one of them was effortlessly dodged... the idea of being punched in the face again was not something that brightened his day. In fact, it made his blood boil to temperatures a volcano would not be likely to contain.

Acting upon this rage, he reached out and grabbed the Heartless around the neck. As the creature made futile attempts at escape he made his way back to the Behemoth; which had regained its senses and stood as tall as normal. He ran around towards the back and jumped on it's back, running up to the head where Ananta was working on dealing some damage. "Excuse me, miss." He stated quickly as he jumped over her and brought the Air knocker down on top of the horn just as she swung towards it. The creature vanished rather quickly after that: most likely the results of being impaled and chopped.

As Steel continued to move from momentum, he grabbed a hold of the horn and swung outward, grabbing and Air Pirate with his legs before coming back around and placing himself next to Ananta. He then summoned his umbrella and stabbed into the creature he had crushed beneath him, allowing another heart to fly free. Unfortunately, before he could do much else, the Behemoth began to thrash about, tossing both of them off. Ananta seemed to hit her head while he landed soundly on his feet. She observed the events around her and ran off to fight more heartless. "Fun times, huh?" He whispered to himself and chuckled.

"Indeed." The Cheshire cat said as he grinned his way into existence. The two of them grew eerily silent as they watched the others fight for a few moments. Ananta seemed to be making good progress, Kross was moving a bit slowly, and Rain had just taken a turn. He supposed he was also moving quite a bit slower than usual, but school had just started back up in the world the rp-er lived in; so it couldn't really be helped. He shook himself out of his thoughts and resumed contemplating his next actions. "Should I take out another Heartless?" He asked Cheshire. "Or should I just end it here?" The feline thought about it for a moment. "Well, How much free BP do you have left?"

"Nine." He replied. "So I can either take out an Air Knocker and do two points of damage to the Behemoth, or take out an Air Pirate and do four points of damage to the Behemoth." He shrugged. "Of course, that is if I decide to take out another Heartless at all." Cheshire considered the options briefly. While both of the other varieties of creature were annoying, the Behemoth was certainly more of a threat. They also hadn't been doing as much damage to it recently. "I think you should just end your turn as it is. After all; you always have the next post." Steel snorted. "Yeah, if I can manage to stretch it out long enough to get the Exp." Cheshire shrugged. "Well maybe you should just post more often." Steel slowly blinked as he stared back at Cheshire. "Right...busy." The cat muttered. Steel nodded to this. "Which is why I must have quality with the little quantity I have."

Stratos was now on his way to finishing off the fabled behemoth, Derpy the Derpmoth. This battle had gone on for a long enough time, but now, it was time to end it. And so, Stratos had begun to get back on his keyglider and fly around once more, in order to draw out the attention of his long standing rival. The behemoth was quite the foe, however Stratos knew he had him on the ropes and was in no way going to lose out to it now. Flying off on his keyglider he went to go lure out his foe into what would most likely be there final exchange. He soon ended up near all of the assault riders and simply started to spin around on his keyglider in an attempt to annoy them. To further get in his taunting action, he then flew straight at one, but then did an almost ninety degree turn as he managed to boost away and successfully avoid the attack of said assault rider. Then, when that wasn't enough, he ended up flying right above them, and started to descend in front of them, so they would get even more annoyed at him than they already were. With this, Stratos had successfully drawn their aggro once more.

Flying around a bit, Stratos now had to continually dodge each and every strike from the assault riders that were coming at him. The first few in the front had tried impaling him on their spears by stabbing forward, while they had missed because Stratos managed to speed up in time. Managing to avoid those, the next set of assault riders seemed to want a piece of him, however, Stratos knew at this point what was going to happen. Getting into a comfortable zone, he knew that the behemoth was about to kick at him. However, he couldn't predict it fast enough. Coming out almost like it was lightning bolt, Stratos was sent sailing through the air as a kick from seemingly nowhere connected with his keyglider. Warping the glider under his feet, Stratos then felt a certain familiar sensation. As the purple light from the demonic limit had activated once more, Stratos was worried as to what could happen to him, only to realize it was the best thing that could have happened. It was at that point, the light had fully enveloped him, that it had appeared as if time itself was slowing down.

Being able to move at super sonic speeds now, Stratos shot off on keyglider as he zipped through the room. Even though he was moving this fast, finding Derpy seemed to prove difficult. He then noticed a purple blur streak across his vision, only to note that it was now coming at him from behind. Jumping upward, Stratos had managed to avoid this impossibly fast kick, as he warped the glider back under himself again. It would appear that even under this sort of boost, this behemoth was still stupidly fast. While it was moving all across the ground, Stratos could barely keep track of it. At this point it was moving so fast that he couldn't only tell it was the behemoth by the amalgamation of colors that was its body, as it appeared as nothing more than a blur now. Jetting straight at the thing, it soon turned around, and seemed ready to kick him once more. Once it had done so, Stratos jumped off his keyglider, casting a fire from each of his hands as he went straight at the thing. When the attacks had connected, they exploded across the horn, and Stratos could tell he had done massive damage to the thing. Now all that was left to finish it off and- wait a second. IT STILL HAS 3 BP LEFT?! WHAT! Son of a-, well Stratos now had to wait to kill it next post, as the effects of I'm Late dwindled off of him.

Ananta watched Rain attempt to lure an Air Battler towards her. It didn't really work, seeing as the heartless was instead destroyed by her olympic throw, Ananta clapped. "That was pretty funny. Dunno what she was doing, but it was darn funny." she chuckled, leaning on her keyblade as it was stuck in the ground. This happened when she had finished off one of the two Air Pirates from earlier. She didn't try to pull it out, simply because she saw Rain was trying to be resourceful. "Hmm...think I'll fight a couple of those things that that other girl was attacking. They look tough, however..." she paused, looking up at the Air Battlers. "Honestly, I'd rather fight the other ones...the ones with the turbans," she said, looking at a group of four that were flying around together.

Grabbing the hilt of her keyblade, Ananta pulled as hard as she could. The keyblade slowly began to pull out of floor, but it was still staying firmly in the floor. "Oh come on, you stupid keyblade, you're not supposed to be THAT sharp!" she grunted, making one last tug before falling back on her butt. "Ouch ouch ouch!" she said, shaking her head and glaring at the keyblade. An aura surrounded Ananta as she stood up. "Look here you stupid weapon key. You're mine to command, so that means you listen to ME!" she yelled, pointing to herself. "So that means when I say not to be stuck, that means you better become UNSTUCK!" she finished, pointing at the keyblade. Staring at the keyblade for a minute, Ananta grinned. "Guess I better go all mananta on you, huh?" she said, leaning down into her praying position. Just as she did, the keyblade fell down, seemingly out of the hole it had pierced into the floor. Ananta smiled and stood up, grabbing her keyblade. "Good!" she giggled, turning towards the Air Pirates again.

Holding her keyblade with both her hands, Ananta rushed towards the heartless. "My mana is pretty low, better just smack them around for a bit..." she mumbled, slamming one of the Air Pirates as if it were a baseball bat. It slammed against the wall and fell to the ground, disappearing on impact. "One down." she said, turning to her next target.

The next Air Pirate took a direct approach and decided to glide straight for Ananta, arms stretched in front of it. Ananta let it grab her and soon it tried to carry her off. Smirking, Ananta let her keyblade disappear. She raised her hands and pressed the fire magic in her hands onto the wings of the heartless. It's wings were burned badly as it dropped Ananta and fell with her. Moving herself to where the heartless was below her, Ananta braced herself for impact. Hitting the ground, the heartless was gone soon after, leaving Ananta leaning on the ground and staring at the last Air Pirates in front of her.

"Now now, don't run away!" she said, standing up and walking towards the two heartless. Her hands were extended outwards, her chest exposed. "Come here, let's hug. Or you can just take me away and eat me or whatever you heartless like to do." she chuckled, watching the Air Pirates take her bait. As it got closer, her grin widened and her hands encased themselves in ice and she soon punched the heartless as hard as she could. The ice shattered and encompassed the two Air Pirates, leaving them to fall down and and lay there, frozen. Ananta approached and smacked both of them with her keyblade.

"For good measure." she said, glaring at the Behemoth again. Yet another fire spell shot towards it, damaging it.

Alright, now was definitely and without a doubt, the final battle between Stratos and Derpy the Derpmoth. The fight that had been going on for some stupidly long number of posts was to finally reach its conclusion in this post. And thankfully, Karina did not come in to steal his kill against this terrifying foe. He internally thanked her for allowing him to face this behemoth heartless, such a powerful opponent, all on his own. And it would be with his own keyblade and hands that he will have slain the beast with. Getting on his keyglider, he started to fly around and aggro the remaining assault riders onto him. In order to reach this end, he flew straight at one of them and quickly bobbed over it, allowing the assault rider just to get annoyed at him. With that done, it started charging after him, and used his ultimate to have his fellow spectral ride- er, Assault Riders, behind him. With that part of the mission accomplished the only thing left to do was hold their aggro for long enough. It was then that one of the riders tried to swing their spear at him, trying to cleave him in two no doubt, only for him to go and swerve out of the way, completely avoiding the strike.

The air was now tense. Stratos had no idea when or where Derpy the Derpmoth would appear from. All he knew, is that it would happen, and when it did, Stratos would be kicked at once more. Trying to rely on some sort of sixth sense, to feel when the behemoth would attack him rather than see or hear it. Ultimately, Stratos was deemed stupid as he didn't actually have some sort of sixth sense like this, and was just sort of kicked off his glider while he was trying to find out where the behemoth was. Flying through the air, Stratos quickly summoned his keyblade and used it to guard against any sort of attack that would come from behind. Thankfully he had predicted correctly this time, and had managed to successfully guard against the kick. Granted, it was still a kick and ultimately, it would've forced Stratos hit the ground at break neck speeds. However, it was all over at this point. Stratos knew where the behemoth was, and so he could initiate his final attack. As if time stood still, Stratos's body locked in place, discarding any momentum he might have had. With cherry blossoms falling from the sky, Stratos had his eyes deadlocked on the now frozen behemoth. With this, it would be the end.

Essentially warp dashing, Stratos ended up on the other side of the behemoth, with his keyblade outstretched. It was then that a giant diagonal line formed in the sky, as if the air itself was split in two. Once that had happened, the behemoth had split alongside that line, half of its body sliding down the other half. As the two halves began to separate from each other, it soon exploded into darkness, with a giant heart floating to the sky until it had finally died. With that, the heartless known as Derpy the Derpmoth had been ended...And Stratos still had fourteen BP left to spend to bring down whatever he darn well pleased. Turning around, his attention to the assault riders he had been aggroing this entire time, it was finally time to end them as well. With the entire horde of hecarim heartless charging towards him, Stratos simply ended one rather quickly by throwing a mini sun at it, causing a singular assault rider to be completely vaporized and some others to be damaged ever so slightly. With that, Stratos took off once more, to avoid getting killed by them now.

Kross glanced up as the air pirates circled them, four for him and a good few more for Ananta. He would worry about the hulking monstrocities later and focus on the smaller batch. 'If we had Karina here with us, we could easily take out the big ones..darnit, why did I let that Heartless attack me in the outback?' Kross silently mulled over, but sharpened his focus in time to see an air pirate lunge at him. It was that one moment in time that reminded him of his first spar with Karina. Silently, he wondered how strong she had gotten. SHe always had strength to boot but she was so reckless and it worried him. He swung up his keyblade and thwacked the heartless, skillfully nailing it in the chin, this semed to provoke the other three to attack him and he went right to work, blocking, jumping and swinging at the heartless in a graceful manner. He landed to the ground, two more down, one more to go. This one swooped down and he jumped, swinging but missing and the air pirate caught him by the arm, jerked him up and carried him off of the ground. He grit his teeth and his legs thrashed."Get off..get off!!" He cried out, the claws digging into his arm painfully. Sparks began to encircle his body as he glowed yellow."I said...get off!!" He yelled, thunder raining down and struck the heartless, creating a large BOOM sound along with audible buzzing. The Heartless let go, and Kross dropped to the ground gracefully, watching as the heartless popped into darkness, its strength to live spent.

The emotional wreck of a girl stood and watched as Stratos finished off Derpy the Derpmoth. She planned to step in a do a few damage to help finish the battle more quickly but still allowing Stratos to get the final hit, but Stratos was too quick in finishing it for her to do anything considering the only pace Karina could bring herself to move was slow. Something that was not good in battle but there was not much that could be done about it. Heartless still surrounded the two of them but less where attacking right now. They where slowly bringing down the numbers and having some room to breath without a heartless attacking every few seconds. And thankfully now because of Stratos, without Derpy appearing out of no where and messing with the fights, getting in the way and hurting them, and when she said hurt she meant damn like really hurt sometimes. Being kicked into book cases was not pleasant, especially with all the injuries already pertained. To be fair half of them were her own fault when she gave up on fighting but still, injuries where injuries, they still hurt and no matter how many times Stratos cured her she would keep getting more.

Karina looked at Stratos and then back to the heartless. Instead of barking orders, or suggestions like she usually did, she kept quiet. Karina was in no talking mood right now, she was not in the fighting mood either but that was something she didn't get a choice about. It was clear from her facial expression she was not happy, and that she was slightly zoned out, but still she stood as though she was ready to fight. Karina quickly glanced at many scars on her arms before looking back up ready for the fight. She had forgot she had them in the heat of the battle, and now without anything to cover them she felt a little embarrassed and disappointed. It wasn't that they where self inflicted, but she never wanted to show how horrible her home life could get, because as she had told Glen before her father was a respectable man and though people from outside her culture might not understand she knew he deserved the respect he got and didn't want anyone looking down on her, no matter how bad things got between her and him. After all every scar and every painful memory was brought on by herself. She knew that. The fact that she couldn't return home was her fault as well, so with that being said she didn't want anyone getting after him, but at the same time she didn't want anyone knowing too much about her, she would rather be lonely without friends then reveal the true details about herself and her past.

Finally Karina stepped up to fight. She hoped if both her and Stratos kept moving he wouldn't notice them. However this didn't help when it came to after the battle, but that was a bridge to be crossed when it came to it. For now she had to keep moving, keep fighting, and keep herself distracted. Karina charged at a random assault rider. At this point it didn't matter what order she did it in, they would all meet the same end from her and Stratos. With little skill but lots of slashes Karina took out an assault rider, quickly casting cure on herself right after seeing that she didn't bother with any dodging or guarding against that assault rider. Feeling slightly better Karina went after a second. It wasn't long though till she was out of breath and had to step back momentarily. These heartless required a lot more effort and slowly her endurance was wearing down due to the shear amount of heartless. She needed breaks more often but still Karina got the job done, just not all in one go.

With no more Derpy the Derpmoth, Stratos no longer just had to draw the aggro of these assault rider. No longer did he have to just have cart them around and wait for the inevitable. No longer was he to simply get kicked round all over the place. Yes, now he finally was able to fight against these assault riders. No longer was there the behemoth heartless that could move at mach speeds and basically appear from nowhere. And so, Stratos took this opportunity to...continue aggro the heartless anyway. I mean, that was still the plan he created anyway. Not to mention there was Karina he had to deal with at the moment. As things stood, she was an emotional wreck who seemed to be completely and totally out of it. It was like she didn't want to do this fight anymore, and while he could totally understand the monotony of the fight getting to someone, he couldn't get why she was constantly acting like she was completely drained of energy. And it wasn't like he was some sort of psychologist that could just fix her mental and emotional problems. No siree. So the only thing he could do now to support his teammate was get the pressure off of her.

And so, that's exactly what he did. While Karina was first able to kill an assault rider, she was completely sloppy about the whole thing and so he worked his aggro magic fast. Flying around on his keyglider, he clapped his hands, and cast another spell that he hadn't used in quite some time. Creating eight mines around the entirety of the enemies. The hecarim heartless being what they were, charged forward and detonated all the mines almost instantly. While it did hurt them a bit, the real purpose behind them had been realized. Looking to the caster of the spell, the assault riders started charging after Stratos, who was now flying away from them. The centaur heartless continued to gallop onward and did nothing but devote all of their movement to keeping up with the keyglider. While they would never actually catch up with him if he were truly running away, Stratos started to slow down the glider, and then waited as the assault riders finally converged on him and started spearing at him. With two of them stabbing at him, Stratos simply jumped off of his keyglider and avoided the attacks that way.

Summoning his keyblade back to his hands and mid air guarded as the spears of the assault riders came down, trying to slice through him. As he block the strike from the assault riders, he was sent backward through the air, only to land on his feet. How did he get this nimble. Alright, now that they were here, it was time to get rid of one of these assault riders. He then realized how these four were the last four of the assault riders, and then suddenly became even more motivated then before to go and kill one of these things. He started running at the assault riders, only for them to start all spinning their spears in a windmill sort of way at once. It was as if they were trying to create a wall of death to deter him from coming forth and beating them down, however Stratos cared not at all. Deciding that any thing he could do on his feet would be useless, he quickly summoned his keyglider under his feet, and then launched it at one of the assault riders. They were completely surprised by this attack and then were quickly dispersed as one of them had gotten impaled. One down, three more to go.

Steel dived from the top of the Behemoth Heartless drawing a glyph in mid air on his way down. "What I seek is thunder: Izuchi!" A bolt of thunder emerged from the sigil and zoomed towards four Air Pirates causing a small amount of damage to be dealt to each. He landed, once again in an overly dramatic manner, with a flutter of his cape. There was a pause as nothing but silence seemed to fill the air: quite unusual since they were in such a large scale battle. It was not long however before the silence was broken. "How did you even do that?" A familiar voice in his head asked somewhat incredulously. "I should think that brand of magic wouldn't work properly here." In a flash of cartoonish pink smoke, Exodus made his presence known and quickly voiced his agreement. "Indeed: I would not expect such a technique to work outside the realm of its origin, as most unique magics don't." Steel merely shrugged. "No matter the rendition; a basic thunder spell is still a basic thunder spell. The other two stated their acknowledgement in turn.

    "Ah, I see..."

    "Surprisingly simple..."

They were interrupted as the Behemoth sent out a massive rain of energy orbs. Steel got hit by a few before he managed to leap to a safe location underneath the lumbering heartless, effectively avoiding the rest of the projectiles. Seeing this as a sign that he had been talking for a bit too long, Steel shook off the pain and waited for the energy showers to end before he rushed back out into the field of battle. He sprang towards the four Air Pirates he had struck earlier and grabbed it by the neck (Because had yet to do that). The other three attempted to rush him in a futile attempt to rescue their hopelessly doomed ally. The first one found his skull firmly pounded by the poor creature in Steel's clutches. The second nearly punched Steel, but he ducked before coming back up using the first one as a shield. The third one attempted to attack low, but was easily jumped over before Steel, once again, introduced the face of his personal heartless to the attacking one's own. Dodging an incoming Air Knocker, Steel made his way back to the Behemoth, which had jumped to a location much farther away. While there were far fewer heartless than before, there were still enough to annoy him as he dashed for his goal, all making various attempts to bash him into dropping the ill-fated Air Pirate he carried.

He eventually made it to the Behemoth and began to circle around to the back, where the access ramp was. As he arrived, he was ambushed by a fifth Air Pirate, which succeeded in punching his gut. Taken aback, Steel lost his grip on his would-be victim, and it flew from his grasp. As both Steel and the Air Pirate caught their breath, the Fifth Air Pirate wound up for another punch. Steel, however, was not keen on being punched again, and lunged to grab its neck instead. It gasped for air and struggled to break free, which Steel found immensely satisfying. He jumped up on the Behemoths back, leaving the other Air Pirate to register what had just happened. He leapt for the head and quickly impaled another of his many victims on it's sharp horn, before finishing it off with his umbrella as was customary. Like always, Cheshire just had to interject something and faded into existence nearby. "Has anyone told you..." he began with his signature smile. "That you are a brutal and viscous combatant." Steel nodded. "Why yes. I believe someone did tell me that once. If memory serves, it was your sister." There was an uncomfortable silence as those words hung in the air between them. "Yes... well. I see your point." The cat said quietly.

Stratos was now ready and willing to take on any and all of the remaining assault riders. He would have to really, as they were basically all mobbed up on him now. After all, it wasn't like he had started running away from them as soon as he had tried to impale them with his keyglider. No. In fact, he was still standing there as they tried to completely destroy him by simply charging at him with their various lances and just overall body slamming antics. When the assault riders did finally get to his position though, he swiftly dodge rolled out of the way and managed to avoid their charge altogether. Well that was pretty easy. They then turned around and started to stab forward at Stratos once more. Okay, this probably wouldn't be easy. He started to run away from the assault riders, only to know that there was absolutely no way he was going to be able to outrun them. And so, when they had caught up once more, he swiftly stopped and dodge rolled backward, avoiding the charges again. Man, for a guy with a pretty bad speed stat, Stratos was quite nimble here. It was then that the heartless were able to turn around swiftly as well and came to charge back at the keyblade wielder, who was now defenseless. Well this was bad.

It was then that he remembered something stupid obvious. Summoning back his keyblade back to his hand, he brought it up to do a high block as one of the three assault riders brought its lance down on him. Parrying the lance back, Stratos quickly dodge rolled backward as the next of the assault riders came over to him and tried to sweep at him, to knock his legs out from under him. Stratos then put his keyblade in a guard stance to his side as the final one came over to stab straight at him to impale him on its spear. It was then that Stratos swiftly pivoted around to face said assault rider and then initiated a ground combo against it. Now, Stratos was nowhere close to this thing, however, combos worked in a rather finicky way. You see, as he was still locked onto the heartless, he was able to like pull himself through time and space and then whacked that one with his keyblade. He then preformed his four hits and then quickly dodge rolled away from one of them that had come at him and tried to impale him on its spear. He then jumped at one of them and quickly kicked off of it to go it another heartless with his keyblade again.

He then followed up by striking at the heartless with his air combo and followed it up with a vorpal blitz. After hitting the heartless, he kicked off of it and then continued to be super fancy. He quickly went to attack one of the heartless with another ground combo and dodged as the assault rider came over to spin its lance at him. It was then that Stratos blocked and parried away the windmill thing. He then stopped time...sort of. It just appeared like time was frozen to him. Going into his Iaido stance, cherry blossoms falling from the sky. He then warp dashed through one of the assault riders, cleaving it and the air around it in two. With it looking as though there were a rupture in the fabric of space time, the assault rider's top half slid off of its other half, and then it exploded into a dark poof of smoke. Stratos then hopped on a keyglider and then flew away to lead them on once more.

As she approached the world and readied herself to enter, Kaida began to try and focus her mind on the task at hand. She was half tempted despite being far away now to just swing right back around and go forward in time and help everyone out. However she wasn't ready to disobey orders... if they even counted as orders with all that was going on at that particular moment.

Kaida glided down to the world and when she reached ground level she summoned away her glider and walked through the streets of Disney Town. Everything seemed rather silent, and it put her on edge as she walked into what seemed to be a plaza of some sorts. She thought she heard something and took a couple steps forward only for a group of heartless to appear, surrounding Kaida.

She summoned her keyblade and commented under her breath an annoyed tone, "Can't go five minutes without something going wrong, huh Kaida?" and she charged at her unwanted opponents. From what she could gather, she was surrounded by maybe fifteen heartless at that moment. What type? She really was not paying attention. It didn't matter to her anyway, they just needed to be fought regardless of their characteristics. She hacked and slashed away at them with a face filled with impatience and determination.

Karina continued to hack and slash at the heartless in her sloppy unsure fashion as soon as she caught her breath. Stratos seemed to have drawn the aggro once again, most likely for her sake. She felt bad about it, because of her current condition he was having to be chased around and possibly hurt to keep her safe... For some reason he was trying to keep her safe still. Stratos did tell her before why he had protected her, but at this point most would have given up on her, and she expected nothing less. As much as it hurt to admit but she almost expected people to give up on her, when they didn't it seemed weird to her and she didn't know what to think. The first thought that came to her mind was that he liked her, but she quickly shook that thought off, no one would like her especially with her attitude, especially now.... Perhaps he was just extortionately soft hearted. Whatever the reason she couldn't decide if she was grateful or almost annoyed by his help. As much as he saved her life, Karina started to question if her life, and the lives of those around her would be better if she was at peace through death.

Karina was so zoned out and caught in her own thoughts she didn't realize that she was attacking the feet of a behemoth. Karina cursed under her breath as she slowly backed away from it scared of what this one would be like. The last one was bad enough she could only imagine what this one would be like. It seemed to not notice her yet so Karina felt slightly better. Seeing she was clear she decided to chase after Stratos and take out the remaining two heartless on his tail. They didn't seem that strong at this point so she was sure that she could take them without a problem. Well without a problem assuming she could focus enough to do so. Approaching the first one she jumped into the air and came down on it with a vorpal blitz. With another couple hits it was dead, very little problem. It was now time for the second one. Karina closed the distance with a barrier surge. She followed that up with the six hit combo known as splatter combo. Well that was that for those two. Finally Karina and Stratos had a breather....

......Or at least Stratos did. Glancing back at the behemoth that she had been accidentally attacking earlier Karina noticed it staring at her. This was not a normal stare either nor was it a blank stare like the behemoth earlier. No this behemoth was staring at her with glowing red satanic eyes. The beast had it out from her, that was clear. Karina only wondered what this ones attacks would be like, considering how Derpy the Derpmoth attacked, it wasn't a long shot that this one would be stupid as well. Each step that the Behemoth took towards her seemed to shake the floor. Small rings of fire surrounded each foot as it hit the ground. Opposed to the last one this behemoth was slow, he also didn't step very high meaning he probably was not going to do stupid aerial stunts like the first one. But there was something about this one that scared her a lot. A loud roar almost blew Karina off her feet as the behemoth snarled at her with sharp teeth that looked ready to eat her. As the heartless snarled smoke came out of its nostrils. Looking closely at it's tusks they where curved up like devils horns. Through the epic stare down between Karina and the behemoth something suddenly became very clear. This was no ordinary behemoth.... no.... Karina was not sure that this was a behemoth at all. From the look in it's eyes it couldn't possibly be a heartless. No, this was indeed Satan in the body of a Behemoth.

Stratos now realized that the only thing he had left to deal with was just a couple of assault riders. After that, they'd be completely and totally finished with the large group he had somehow managed to aggro and survive. It had been a long journey, one that he wasn't entirely sure how he'd gotten this far. But nevertheless, he wasn't going to falter here. The heartless of the shadow isles would fall to his keyblade or his name wasn't- okay, never mind. They would instead, just fall to Karina's keyblade instead. Well it's a good thing he didn't finish that thought. As she cleaved through the heartless left and right, all two of them, it was then that he was able to have the first real breather he had had in awhile. Man, he had been doing nothing but running, flying, and getting smacked all over the place during this fight. In fact, he started to realize how sore and tired he had gotten from the fight. After all, he hadn't done any sort of healing during that last one hundred bp of Derpy the Derpmoth. He also had neglected to do any sort of support work for Karina during this entire time, though, he had been a bit aggro drawing for that. It was still nice to see her get her spirit back, though she still seemed completely off her game. Actually, when he took a glance at her now bare arms he noticed they seemed to be a bit cut up and she had probably gotten hurt during this fight worse than he thought.

The young keyblade wielder quickly cast cure on both himself and her, and then continued up by casting Aero on the both of them to renew both of the wind barriers. He had no idea how he had accumulated that much MP, but at times like these it's better not to question the small details. Turning to his partner, he said to her, "alright so now that we got rid of these small guys, how about we go after the monkey heartless nex- what the hell?" Stratos's thought process was interrupted by the rumbling of the ground. Wondering where these small tremors were coming from, and turned around to find its source. "Holy shi-" was all he could say at the face of his new foe. It was a behemoth unlike any other he had seen before...all two of them...that were both pretty unique anyway. Regardless, this one gave off a way more chilling and unsettling aura than that weird purple limit could ever hope to. In fact, the thing even left a fire trail.

Realizing it was the first behemoth to be more pissed at Karina than him, Stratos felt a small sense of relief when he figured that this behemoth wasn't actually gunning to kill him just yet. However, that was a passing thought as he realized that with Karina in the state she was in, and the behemoth being basically the devil itself, it would easily kill her. So, quickly discarding the plan to slowly pick at behemoths the way they had done for the first one, he jumped into the scene, action hero style. This would end in only one way. However that wouldn't stop this boy in the slightest. He quickly jumped at the behemoth and let out a flurry of air combos, following up with his Vorpal Blitz. While the behemoth seemed relatively unfazed by the weak guardian's regular strikes, it didn't seem to enjoy the ice element from the command. After dealing all the damage he could must out in one set of air time, the behemoth then decided to counter with a strike of its own. Igniting its horns, it quickly reeled back its head, only to go into a bucking motion. Stratos had seen this attack coming, though, and managed to guard before the hit connected. However, it was a stupidly strong attack. Being sent flying from the sheer impact of the attack, Stratos then flew into a book case (that seemed to already have some damage in it,) Stratos realized what kind of a terrifying monster he was now facing off against.

Since attempting to bring in some air battlers didn't work out well, she'd figured to try and sneak behind a behemoth and somehow climb on top of its back but every time she did so one or two heartless would come near making it risky that they could alert the giant heartless. The area surrounding it must be clear in order to proceed which goes back to what she was trying to do earlier. So she then thought up of another plan, although it wouldn't have a hundred percent chance of working but it wouldn't hurt to try it out. Rain threw her keyblade upwards like she did before resulting in another kill but this time it being an air pirate. It would look as if she failed again but it was quite the opposite of that. The air pirates death actually caused a nearby air battler to turn its attention to rain. It would explain why it didn't work last time was because the heartless were too far away from each other thus making it impossible for them to notice the keyblade striking down one of their fellow heartless comrades. Plus the fact she aimed this time. The air battler quickly teleported closer to her and then attempted to grab her arm or whatever was near for it but was suddenly cut off with the swing of a blade. She didn't have any other choice but to do that. "I don't think so pal. sigh maybe I should stick with wyverns when it comes to the free rides. These pirates looking things aren't so easy to trick..but are easy to kill. If it's not one thing it's the other I guess."

Ananta stretched, hearing joints pop and crack in her body. "This whole battle is just horrible." she grunted, letting her arms rest at her side as she watched the heartless fly around their side. The other areas were also having a hard fight, Ananta knew that, but it felt like this battle had been going on for a long time now. "What's going to happen to this place once we're done fighting?" she thought out loud. "Will this world fall just as every other world that's ever been destroyed?" she said, Jumping back as she saw one of the few remaining Air Pirates, that weren't injured, zoom at her. It shot towards her again, only this time, she was able to grab it's head as it flew closer to Ananta. Squeezing it's head, a fire spell blasted from her hand and caused the heartless to explode in darkness, leaving the heart it contained behind.

"I already lost my own world to these monsters...I can't let that happen to another world." she frowned at the heartless around her. "Nobody else has to die at the hands of these...things..." she said, readying her keyblade. "We'll all make sure of that!" she yelled, running towards two Air Pirates there reaching for the heart Ananta had just released. Jumping high, she reached them and began to swing her keyblade, hitting one of the heartless many times and maybe managing to hit the other once or twice. After her combo finished, Ananta fell to the ground gracefully. The heartless wasn't destroyed yet, but it was close to being destroyed.

As she landed, Ananta felt a great tremor and heard a loud boom explode nearby. Looking over, she saw Kross emerge from a lightning spell that destroyed heartless he was fighting. "Wow, he's powerful..." she said, smiling. "That's it, I'm going to get to know Kross some more." she nodded to herself, looking up to see the injured heartless had began to fall down slowly. It looked like it couldn't keep itself up any longer and slowly began to descend. Ananta watched it land and soon, she was nearby and began to perform another combo on it. Amidst the combo, the heartless was destroyed and so it's heart was released.

Looking up, Ananta saw the heart had floated straight into the hands of the last Air Pirate. Glaring, Ananta jumped up and began to perform a combo on this heartless. Instead of letting the heartless fall down to the ground, she kept comboing it until it was gone and the heart that it had grabbed from before remained. Ananta reached for this heart and held it in her hands as she landed on the ground. Looking at the heart the previously defeated Air Pirate had, Ananta saw it had disappeared nearly immediately after. This one in her hands, however, stayed behind and gave a soft warmth in Ananta's hands.

Feelings and memories flooded Ananta's mind as she stood there, the heart glowing faintly in her hand. She could see a young girl with mint green hair playing in a park. The girl was picking flowers as people walked by. The person looked down at a book they were reading and Ananta recognized some of the symbols. The person looked back up to see the young girl with mint hair had handed her a flower and smiled at her. The person took the flower and Ananta could feel the happiness in her voice, that she could not hear, as words of gratitude slipped past her lips.

The heart soon disappeared and Ananta opened her eyes to see the memory was gone and she was back at Central Haven. Shaking her head, she wiped tears from her eyes as she looked at the Behemoth. Running off towards the Behemoth, Ananta saw Rain standing nearby and throwing her keyblade at the heartless. She passed by the girl and looked back at her, hoping she was watching Ananta. Turning to the Behemoth, Ananta jumped up and landed on it's back, wobbling a little as the heartless walked around. Stepping up the back, she reached the horn and began to pummel it, dealing a little damage.
