Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix Codes

Hey guys anyone know what the skill mod number is for the last one in the skill mod list that resembles soras last blue ability? I'm trying to put to gether a rom hack mod for duel roxas and I want to compile a list of skill mods that can disable all soras blue abilities by default, and I'd like to compile it myself because I need it to be compatible with crazycatz english translation patch, unless someone who uses his patch can compile it that'd be awesome, otherwise I need to do it on my own terms. Thanks guys!

 

I've got an earlier post for Sora and True Lv1 standings. It disables everything that wasn't obtained through story-mode and is beyond a Lv1 standing, you're welcome to use that as a base.
And all the isos this part for the time being is the same across the board.

Like I stated I am using emuhaste to modify and ps2dis to check the game's datas.
Who I was trying to mod? I was trying to modify data-Saïx's movesets.
Here are the movesets I modified:

55A's animation & effect = 58C's animation & 58B's effect
56A's animation & effect = 50A's animation & 51A's effect
56B's animation & effect = 58B's animation & 58B's effect
57A's animation = 55A's animation
58B's animation & effect = 56B's animation & 58D's effect
58E = FAKE

The animations and effects are values that I got from ps2dis. The full code is still on beta-stage.
It worked for a while but then it didn't and I don't know what changed. I started over again and it didn't work.
When I activate the code and the battle has started and I wait for Saïx to perform his new moveset but then the game crashes whenever he's trying to perform it.

 

Did you change anything with your iso?
I've had that exp far too often.
Like with my Retributal Seph hack, I've remade that on top of a romhack of him I got going, which is so dang hard as is, XD and I change little things on his file all the time, and this makes me have to recreate his ramhack mset often.
The slightest change will affect this type of stuff.
I would highly recommend having a savestate of before you mod, and then another of when have your mods.
And try only applying one at a time.
And see which one(s) are causing the crashing.
And Saix on file, in the game, has two msets. _1 and _2
_1 is his normal mset
_2 is his DM mset

And some of Siax's animations spawn a UCM, so that could be what is interfering and causing the crashing.
I would like to see the code you are using to be honest, you can do that here, or in a private convo, whichever suits you.

 

Off the top of my head, there are three things that could be causing your problem.

1: You made those moveset modifications, then reloaded the battle with a mob added or removed that wasn't before (ex: You made a file dump, created a moveset mod, then decided afterwards that you wanted to remove Donald). If this is the case, scrap everything you did and redo your file dump when you are sure your conditions are perfectly set up. Conditions include role mods (ex: changing a mob to a partner/enemy/neutral role) and what mobs are loaded into the battlefield.

2. Saix is a special boss in that he spawns extra mobs, since his claymores that give you a Reaction Command are actually treated as boss roles. If you made this file dump after he threw out a claymore, it could have possibly interfered. If this is the case, scrap what you did and make the file dump as soon as he starts attacking, but before he lets go of a claymore.

3. You put something into your data that was an incorrect value (ex: maybe you accidentally made 56B's animation = 56C's effect, or you made 56B's animation = 56C). I suggest a bit of trial and error where you remove one line at a time (keep it saved in a text document or whatever you use to store data) and see if a crash still occurs. If this doesn't work, only apply a single line of code from your moveset mod at a time as a continued form of testing. If that doesn't work, your problem is probably one of the previously mentioned things in this list.

I dunno if anyone has ever found this code yet but this may be one of the funniest codes I've come across. I also don't know if this works for everybody, cause I have an english patch on my iso, so yeah... but at least try it out!

EDIT 2: Well, the english patch is the Rev8 patch made by Sora6645 on youtube. Other thing I forgot to mentoin is that when I use this code it is also giving me an error message in the console of pcsx2. So the code uses some kinda error to work.

 

That didn't work for me, but I was using an original Japanese ISO. You should probably edit that message again and specify your patch.

 

hi guys, im new around here and i've spent a few days trying to find a solution to my problem. i patched a game with Crazycatz00 translation and i'm working on making 4:3 for my personal use, (planning to play on my old tv). I used the pnach code 1Timestones38n posted a few pages back and worked perfectly (THANK YOU), but the thing is, the patch itself bring some "widescreen" features that Crazycatz00 implemented, as he posted:

" With some of my own additions:

• "Font space fix" (this make it so some phrases in the journal are out of the screen)
  
• "Preliminary hacks on the following menus: Title screen and Theater, Save/Load menu, Pause and Camp menus, various “help” screens" (this is self explanatory)

i was wondering is someone could find me a code to make those more of a 4:3 ratio, or at least the adresses as i've spent some time trying on my count with no luck.

p.s: i also really wanna thank you all of you cuz a few days ago i knew nothing at all about hacking and little by little im learning more :)

 

To kind of piggyback off of the above user, I'm also trying to make use of that 4:3 code for crazycatz00's build. However, I'm hitting snags due to how I'm set up and I'm hoping someone here can help.

Near as I can tell, I should just be able to use the master/enable code in the OP and then use this code:

... to more or less remove the 16:9 patching, minus what/window adjustments were made. My problem is that I am using OPL 9.2 (on a fat PS2) via usb (a flashdrive to be specific) to play the game as of right now and don't really know of a way to apply the codes to the game. I did find an older build of OPL that included a cheat engine called ps2rd but it requires the codes to be formatted in raw format to work as well be saved as a ".cht" file along with the enable code; as far as I can tell, it already IS in raw formatting, but it doesn't work. So I'm stuck; any help with this would be greatly appreciated. I don't even need to use this method to work, so long as the end result is the same.

Use "Ps2 patch engine" to patch the iso after you used crazycatz00's one, then you can convert the iso for use Opl. the thing is, while gameplay and pause menu looks 4:3, there's some screen that looks 16:9, namely title screen and journal. (also some information screens but i can live without that). what im looking for is a code or the adress for those too, and also a code to revert the "font space fix" he made because it makes long phrases on Menu/journal to cut out of screen, here's an example

Warnings

Spoiler

1. If you are going to a boss fight, use a room mod code to instantly warp to the fight instead of the cutscene. Otherwise, you will lose keyblade modifications.
2. This will work in worlds with model changes, but you will have to access Master Form from the Drive menu. However, upon reverting, the game will no longer load Master Form's modified moveset.
3. In worlds with model changes, your keyblades will be changed back to Rumbling Rose and Star Seeker.
4. Before you land in the Gummi Hangar, you MUST have Donald and Goofy as your party members.
5. When you leave the Gummi Hangar, do NOT return to it. This will mess up parts of the moveset modification.
6. This will not work on patched ISOs.
7. Do not attempt to change your keyblades via the menu. All other things you can perform in the menu are stable.
