Mikasa's usual expression on her face combined with the way that she said that did nothing to lessen just how creep and disturbing that answer actually was. Fortunately looking inside the broken shutter was enough to take his mind off of it. Even if the room inside the shutter wasn't in the condition that it was in, the sole door in the room would be more than enough for Veilen to want to get a further look at what was inside. That however would have to wait til he saw what was in one of the other shutters.

"Well, I could always just open up another one. Not like something will come flying out if I did." Veilen replied to Mikasa's advisement. He then proceeded to move towards the other two un opened shutters and started to look between the two of them. Old and new, those were the two choices that he had left to make. Given how he wasn't expecting to see a room within the broken one, these two could hold anything or anyone. His foot had eventually started to tap his he thought about which shutter to open next.

 

Child's Play



When they rushed downstairs into the living room, it was immediately obvious something had happened. All the furniture was flipped over upside down and scattered around the room messily for some unknown reason. The entire room was a picture of chaos, apart from the Vase they had used the orb on earlier which had managed to set itself down perfectly untouched by the chaos around it. So, something is definitely active in this house. It's moving quickly too. Then, Caliborn's excellent sense of smell picked up a strange scent. Something that wasn't the familiar floral smell that accompanied the house useful. Smoke. And where there was smoke there was fire. Immediately, Caliborn ran into the kitchen where he found Zarine standing there, the perfect image of shock. The stove was bursting up in flame all by itself somehow, and the woman clearly had nothing to do with it. There was something else in the flames though. He could see it in the shifting fire- The face of a girl.
"Everyone! Protect Zarine and kill that ghost! I'll go take care of Elayne!" Caliborn ordered, backing away out the room. He rushed up the stairs to Elayne's room. It was entirely possible that there was more going on in this house.

Satoya High School



Dale shook his head and sighed disapprovingly. Those girls are going to be the death of me I swear. Sighing audibly and frustratedly, he turned around to the two again.
"Enough!" Dale barked. "You can solve your pathetic squabbles back at the Guild! We are on a job! Have you no sense? People need us, for real things and you two are too busy being childish? Perhaps I should leave you here at this school, because evidently you still seem to think you're at it! Now cut the nonsense we've got work to do!"

Dale considered their next move for a couple of moments. They had got two leads. The mysterious supply closet and the haunted desk. Someone should always be in this room to deal with anyone else coming forward with a story and then they could investigate that. Meanwhile he could handle himself and head out on patrol around the school just in case he found anything strange going on. It was entirely possible that he could find this strange 'white hand' that they had mentioned appearing around him. it wasn't entirely clear whether these hauntings were local to these areas of the school or if they were general all around the place. A patrol should answer that question. However... How to divide the teams up? He had to keep Beucette away from Lucia and Scarlett that was for sure. Other than that, it was probably fair game. Scarlett and Carmen seemed good, Calxiyn and Lucia would complement each other nicely because of their respectable attitudes and then Beucette and Zwei, because he was sure that Zwei would be safe from her strange behaviour. it seemed directed entirely towards females so a male partner would do her good. It also kept her nicely out of his way. But where to send them? Scarlett and Carmen could go deal with the desk. Zwei and Beucette could go handle the track room and then Calxiyn and Lucia as probably the most sensible people here could stay and keep an eye out.
"Alright here's the plan. I'll be dividing you up into pairs. Scarlett and Carmen, you two can work together. You're going to be checking out this desk that Kiyomi mentioned. Zwei, Beucette, I want you to go to the track room and find out what those kids doing their test of honour or whatever it was found. Calxiyn, Lucia, you two can stay here. I need two people I can depend on to be sensible to stay back here and take in any extra information we get and if necessary, follow it up. I'll be out on patrol to keep an eye out for any other strange happenings around here. Understood? It was less of a question and more of a statement and before anyone could even reply, Dale turned neatly on his heel and opened the door. "Good. Everyone get to what I've ordered you to do."

 

Mysterious Labyrinth




Mikasa opened the older window, and sighed as a Potion fell out. She threw it to Charlotte. "Here, you need it more then I do." She said. She looked back inside of the room with the green door. "Well, will you do us the honors Veilen?" She pointed.


Inside of the brown door, there was a large stack of logs. It was ceiling high, and the room seemed to be full of them. No getting through here!

"Woohoo! Nice job everyone!" Johanna shouted. "Now what are we going to do about Ander?" She asked. "This is the first time Leon's been able to project himself like that, and the first time any of those sounds happened too. He's never possessed anyone so quickly after being exorcised. The fact that he's never done this before is troubling to say the least."



"He's never resisted like that before... I can't believe... he would attack like that." Father said. "Leon was such a sweet hearted child. He would often stand at the gates of the church, which was the place he said goodbye to his father for the last time... I can't imagine the joy he must feel with Hasu...."

Alessia watched with sadness as the shadow of Leon was dispatched so quickly. What had this world come to, the ghost of a child turning on the living? This was cruel. Poor Leon... How sad for him it must be, to be without a father like that... She wouldn't have got by without either one of her parents. They were too important to her. As soon as she got home she'd write a letter to them telling them about this. They'd be proud of her she knew, for helping someone in trouble out like this. She knew they'd be happy with what she'd have achieved. They had to get Leon out of there though. That was unquestionable. He couldn't be allowed to stay inside Ander like he was. Or whatever he was doing. He wasn't all that sure what was happening.
"Do we need to exorcise him again?" Alessia asked. "Or do we need to do something else to stop him forever?" The last question wasn't an easy one. It would be like killing him if they did that, but what were they to do?

Amanda Pov: She wasn't quite sure how to react to all that was happening maybe it would all end soon, and Leon would go in peace.

Jacks Pov: Fire, and thunder would be a bad idea to use on this fire thing so he used Aero.

Veilen had stood there and watched as Mikasa had opened the old shutter and looked at the potion that had fallen out of it. Well what do you know, something did come out of it. But it was something helpful rather than something either harmful or purely there for a jump scare. Mikasa then proceeded to toss the potion to Charlotte, who unlike Mikasa appearing to be in the room before he'd gotten there, easily could've walked into the room while he was looking through the first shutter.

He gave Mikasa a brief nod before venturing back into the broken shutter with the green door. Veilen momentarily stopped in front of the door and reached out towards the handle to open the door. He opened it wide enough for his head to peek through first as it do a quick look around before actually going in. That way he wouldn't be completely running in blind.

So he was to be looking through the track room with Beucette. Zwei didn't know how to feel about that at all to be honest given the little interactions between the two of them. So there really wasn't much room for him to have any complaints at the moment. As he pushed aside these thoughts, Zwei went ahead out the door and walked towards the Track Room. He didn't bother to see if Beucette was following him or not. She could find the place on her own after all.

He saw the shadow go away.
What do they do now? what was next? what ever it was it would not be fun.
"What do we do next?" He asked no one in particular.
He had to say that this mission so far was not what he expected.
What had he expected? He did not know.
Leon was one interesting ghost person thing.
What do we do with Leon now? He hoped that whatever happened to this child was good for everyone fat chance of that happening.
"What do we go about Leon" what ever the answer was he was sure he would not like it.
What would happen to Leon after this. Find happiness is what he hoped, but would Leon get it?

the familiar smell of Smoke filled the air.
She went into the kitchen where She saw Zarine standing there. The stove was bursting up in flame. She could see a face of a girl.
The fire smell nocked her off her feet and she found her self on her butt.
Would this be the end? Her bow somehow landed on her lab. She saw a man shot a wind spell at the the fire ghost girl.
How could someone harm anything? How? She could not bring her self to hurt any not after the man she killed.
No. Her bow.
She reached for it to put it away.
She was not longer aware of what was going on.
Smoke
As She reached for her bow barley touching it. The bow misfired and went off at the fire ghost.

She opened her eyes to find herself in a house burned down the smell of smoke filled her nose.
The man she killed in a other room.
A girl spoke "You did this". "no"
"you killed the man and burned down the house to cover what you did.
you are dead."
She ran out the burned down house a young girl stood by in a soft voce she said " you"
Sara did not here the rest because she was out of ear shot.
She looked at the necklace the man gave her how could she kill someone just like that.
She made herself a promises that she would not longer hurt people.
She would just have to make money a different way.

 

Skadi raced downstairs after the others, expecting the worst. As she arrived, she was in shock. She'd expected something pretty bad, but a flaming demon thing wasn't what she had in mind. "If we beat this, the curse should be lifted. From my knowledge, they don't tend to go down easily though" she said. The girl focused on the situation at hand, knowing that if they were to beat the spirit, there would be no room for holding back. As she focused, she held out her hand. Her hand began glowing a pale blue, before a small chunk of ice appeared and launched itself at the creature before them.

Skadi used Blizzard!​

 

Ra glared at the spirits which emerged from the door. "Thomas, confidence is a trait which makes a strong leader, but should you let your hubris blind you, your downfall is only a matter of time." Ra spoke without looking at the younger boy. He rose his staff and let loose a flurry of electric bolts at the spirit he stood against.

Gaius couldn't believe Thomas' ego. It was ridiculous, and had Gaius not witnessed it for himself he probably wouldn't have believed it. Although, there were some advantages to having the boy along with them. He'd gotten the attention of more spirit things, something for Gaius to fight. "Good job Thomas. I was itchin' for a fight, this mission was starting to bore me" Gaius said, flashing a cocky grin as he got ready to battle. Before he attacked though, he had to tend to his wounds, so he cast a quick cure spell on himself and then got ready to attack.

Gaius used cure!


Running through the streets of Intonahe was a man that went by the name Caleb Stitem. He had been one of the newer people accepted into Sapphire Eclipse, but hadn't attended the acceptance ceremony due to more important issues coming up. He had caught wind of some very troubling news, news of the movements of a dark guild rising in strength and had left to try and stop it. The numerous bruises and cuts suggested he had failed to do so, but yet there he was, running towards Sapphire Eclipse, ignoring the confused and somewhat worried looks of the townspeople as he did so.

He crashed through the doors into the guild, panting and clearly exhausted after having run the entire way back. With a look of both anger and worry on his face, he stepped over to the nearest person to him and stared straight at them. "There are four people I need to speak to urgently. Get me Gaius Ryan, Skadi Wynter, Ra, and the guild master. If they choose not to come, tell them..tell them that the guild..is going to be destroyed" Caleb said, before passing out and collapsing onto the ground, his mission accomplished.​

 

~Guild Hall~​

Cassandra starred at the newcomer, blinking at him and taken by surprise. "Evanora!"




Evanora heard her name, and ran down the staircase.

"What have we here?" She asked. "Did he say anything else? Anything at all Cassandra this is important."




Cassandra shook her head. "No, all he said was to summon Guild Members Gaius, Skadi, Ra and to call you. He said the Guild is in danger of being destroyed."




Evanora paced around the floor.

"Call Edric, have him heal his wounds." She said. "This is seriously, we must bring everyone home."



Cassandra nodded "Of course Master. But this will drain your power." She cautioned her.



"That is of no concern nor importance." She asked. She closed her eyes, and raised her hands up into the air, saying a chant under her breath.

Mikasa was taken by surprised at the amount of energy was filled in the room she was in. She felt and saw light, as if they came from huge fireflies. She knew what this meant. "Don't be afraid." She told the members of the group. "It's Evanora, the light, something must be happening..."

Johanna was surprised to see the droplets of light, each looking like it came from the sun itself. "Nobody move." She told them. "It's Evanora, but I thought this was only for emergencies.." She muttered.

Calxiyn touched the bright lights that were suddenly falling down from above. They felt warm, and safe. They couldn't be the spirits. "Something's happening." She told them.

Little did Calxiyn know this was happening to not only her, but every single person out on a mission that was in the Guild. The light was engulfing them all, and teleporting them back to the Guild Hall.

 

Ra was engaged in combat with the spirits when suddenly his vision began to blur. It was filled with a white light. "What...?" Ra asked rhetorically. After a few moments, he found himself standing in the center of the guild hall. Before him stood a drained looking Evanora. He didn't know exactly what had had happened, but he could infer that they'd been summoned back to the guild for some reason. Given her drained state, it must have been important. "Why have we been summoned?" Ra looked down at the unconscious boy on the floor. Leading up to him was a trail of blood, tracking back to the entrance. "...What has happened? Who is this boy?"

As Skadi was preparing another attack to try and dispel the demon that possessed young Elayne, she found herself suddenly and instantaneously unable to see. The light swallowed her up, and instinctively the young ice mage held up her arms to shield her eyes. What was the attack the the spirit was using? How was she meant to fight it if she couldn't see? Skadi did the only thing she could do; she held her position and made herself into a stance that supported a defensive style of fighting, and waited.

Once the light had cleared, the girl found herself back inside of the guild hall. Next to her, she could hear Silvia feeling very sorry for herself and apologizing to Elayne. Putting an encouraging hand on her shoulder, she squatted down slightly to the point she was next to the girl. "Silvia, don't apologize. There wasn't anything any of us could have done, we did everything we could. That kid still needs help, so how about later on we go back and see if we can fix her up, okay?" Skadi suggested, reminded almost of the way that an adult would speak to a little kid.

Skadi would have continued, but she saw something that made her release an audible gasp. Caleb Stitem, beaten and bloodied, laying on the ground. Rushing over, a look of worry came over the girl, evident for all around to see. "W-what happened?! Don't just stand there, he needs help! Why have you just left him on the ground like this?" Skadi cried. She was shouting at everyone there, including the guild master, but she didn't care. The only thing on her mind at that moment was making sure Caleb was alright.

With a great effort, Skadi dragged Caleb's body over to a table and pushed him onto it, rolling him over so he was laying on his back, facing up towards the ceiling. She didn't have much training with medicine or healing magic, but she figured that was the best position for him to be in if he was to be treated in any way. Silvia then came over, much to Skadi's relief, and began healing Caleb.


Gaius was in an incredibly intense fight, battling the spirit. When it attacked him, he would dodge out of the way, nimble as a cat, and strike back with twice the force as usual. Adrenaline was flowing through his veins and he found himself having much, much more energy than he generally did in battle. He flashed a cocky grin mid-fight; he was enjoying this much more than he ought to have been. One more fight and he could end it, he was sure of it. However, the spirit had other plans.

A blinding light began filling the area around him, conveniently appearing to save the spirit, so Gaius assumed it was coming from the spirit. "Oh no you don't, you ain't gettin' away from me!" he exclaimed. With a slight yell, he leaped up into the air and swung his fist with incredible force towards the spirit as the light increased in intensity, blinding the boy completely.

When the light faded, Gaius' fist connected. He opened his eyes, only to see that he had not actually hit the spirit, but rather a friend of his. "Oh my god, Caleb! Caleb, you're here! Where did you go, why are you so injured, where did that mark on your faaaaa-" he started, the fact he had hit Caleb only now dawning on him. He grinned sheepishly. "Oh...uh..well..do I hit any harder?" he asked, attempting to cover up his mistake.


Caleb sat up slowly, groaning and rubbing his head where he'd been hit. The hit, while unnecessary, had given him the push he had needed to regain consciousness. However, he still felt very much exhausted. "A little, yeah, but it's still not enough.." the man responded quietly.

"GAIUS! WHY THE HELL DID YOU HIT CALEB?!" Skadi shouted, angry that her friend had attacked.

Gaius Ryan shrugged his shoulders. "Oh come on Skadi, you can't blame me. How was I meant to know that the light was coming from here and not the spirit? Do I look like someone that knows that kinda stuff?" he asked, a little irritated she had assumed that he had attacked.

"You look like someone that doesn't know anything" Skadi huffed, crossing her arms slightly.

Caleb laughed rather weakly, coughing once, which caused Skadi and Gaius to look in his direction once more, attention solely on him. "You two haven't changed a bit" he said, shaking his head slightly. Glancing at the girl that was healing him, he gave a weak smile. "Thank you, you can stop now. I'll be fine from here" he said, not wanting the girl to waste any more energy on him. He waited until she had stopped, before looking at the people around him.

"My name is Caleb Stitem. I'm a member of this guild, but I failed to attend the induction ceremony due to other more important matters. Matters which brought me back here, actually. I was sent here by someone with a message, but before I give that I need to speak with the guild master about something very important" Caleb said, speaking as loudly as he was able so that the guild master, whoever they were, would surely be able to hear him.

Ander's pov:
Life was such a mystery. A light came from no were ingolphing all. One moment they were standing in the church the next he found him self in the guild hall.
"We did not get to help Leon" Whoever brought them here is was a mistake. Then he remembered that Johanna said Evanora brought them here what was she thinking.

Once he took a look around he spotted a man on the floor bleeding. Was this man trying to brake in well that was dumb. Then he spotted someone trying to heal the man.
She was having some trouble. He walked up to her "You care for this man a lot?" It was more of a statement then a question.
"let everything go only focus on what you are doing think of only the task on hand everything else does not madder.
Sometime this helps." He did not know this woman but he hoped he helped her. He then walked away. Now to find Evanora and give her a peace of his mind.
As he looked for Evanora he spotted Alessia. He walk up to her "You doing alright?" he asked her.
