Alessia listened to what they were saying. So they had to exorcise the poor child... Well then... She wasn't the most talented wizard. She was better with the sword she carried but she knew one thing: she wasn't going to let that child suffer. So she had to offer herself up to do it. Someone would tell her what to do surely. Besides... She found the girl possessed in the forest, so it only made sense that she save the young one from the ghost inside her. She cleared her throat and looked up at them, raising a hand tentatively. She was nervous about doing this though. What if it went wrong? She didn't exactly know what she was doing.
"I'll do it." Alessia said. "I'll give it my best shot. I found her in the forest, that's what got this game started... I'd like to finish it, if I can."

 

Out of the orb, a holographic image of Cassandra appeared.

"Hello Guild Members. If you are seeing this you are using the Orb for your first experiment. I am going to help you see if the source of the poltergeist is human or not. As the women in the household look at the orb, they'll start to be in a hypnotic state. They won't be able to hear me or see me."




"Girls, try to match the light with your breathing. Nice and slow."





"In the case of people causing Poltergeists, they use supernatural abilities they're unaware of possessing. So when a suggestion is planted into the subconscious..."




"A small glass vase will move. It will be sitting here on the table."




"If one of these humans is the source, then they will do what Caliborn has said." Cassandra disappeared.

 

Caliborn approached the lights and flicked them back on again. Their purpose was completed here. Now... It was time to wait. As the lights came on again, the three girls looked a little startled.
"Alright, that'll be it everyone. Enjoy the rest of your evening. Me and my guild mates will be outside. We'll knock in the morning." Caliborn said. He turned around and led them all out of the house and on to the front lawn. "And now... We wait."

 

Mysterious Labyrinth

Mizuki sheathed her sword as the ghosts dying screams faded away. Too easy. Looking around the room to see how the other team members were doing, she noted that while none of the other enemies had been taken down yet, some were well on their way to being defeated. That said, the some of the other team members had taken some nasty knocks themselves. They'd probably be able to tough it out though. Mikasa was still down, and the people from the other guilds didn't look like they were doing much other than gawk at their fighting skills. Wasters.
Hopefully the other ghosts would be taken down soon. This was just a distraction from the main goal of their mission, and an irritatingly boring one at that.

Ren looked down at the child, a mixture of concern and regret traced on his face. He hadn't wanted it to happen this way. Finding the body had been a long stretch, and even if they had there had been no guarantee that it would have helped Leon leave this world. An exorcism might the only way to finish this, much as it pained him.
"Yeah, you do it," Ren mumbled quietly. "I don't have any experience with this anyway." He knelt down beside the child, giving both Leon and the girl a quick hug. They'd both suffer from this, undoubtedly, but it was for the best. Wasn't it? Before he could let his doubts interfere, he gently pushed the child towards Alessia. "Do what you have to do," he grunted, staying with his knee to the ground, not taking his eyes off the child.

Ander's pov:
Ander never in his life felt so unsure of what to do. He always knew what to do. He was so conflicted about what to do.
On one hand Leon was possessing a body that was not his. All Leon wanted to do was to paly what was so wrong with that.
He had no clue what to do. Leon was not hurting anyone, was it possible to give this boy a new body he could be a robot, but that was no life to live.
Uggh so unsure so hard to say what to do. What could he do? A book on possessing of people or ghost might be helpful right now.
Had he failed he came to this guild to help but he did not do anything to help people.
He herd the voice "Ander, You Failed. Just like you failed Bryce."
The voice was then gone. Bryce chose to die or did he after all he died to save him. Ander let Bryce die he died for a dumb book.
The book that was never found. He had his doubts about the mission since then.
When e went on the mission he was not able to keep everyone safe...
"I wish we could we could save them both." He was so sad nothing was right about the church mission.
All of Ander thought it should be possible to save everyone.
He was here to save people and if he could not do that then why was he here?



Child's play



Sara's pov:
She followed Caliborn outside. She thought they waited long enough. It was nice though.
The cold air had a nice calming effect to her. What Would happen now. She was sure something would. Caliborn knew what was going on.

As Leon was hanging off of Hasu, Father started to pray. Alessia helped by putting holy water on his head, making the sign of the cross. "Let us pray with the words Jesus gave us...."

Leon's/The Little Girls eyes went wide, before she collapsed onto the floor.



Johanna caught her in time. "It's alright, she's no longer possessed." Johanna smiled. That's when, there was a cold chill in the air. The lights started to flash. "Can you guys... feel that." Johanna said, her eyes wide with fear. There was a horrible screeching, like nails on a board.

"Geez girls no need to fight, you're both pretty." She rolled her eyes. "Well, all of this stuff started to happen after that darn Ouija board..." She muttered. "When everyone was leaving, she told us she thought she was possessed, but I said there was no way. Then the next day she started acting different. We were using the board in classroom 1-3." She told them. "As for other weird stuff happening, the track team's locker room is reaaaaally creepy. The lockers just fall over all by themselves, and the equipment will move around. At first they thought someone was playing a joke on them, so some of them hid to try to catch the person, but suddenly the basket balls they had put in a box somewhere were lined up on the floor. Last month my friend and her boyfriend were doing the test of courage in the storage room in the gym, and they've been seeing a bunch of weird shadows ever since. Her boyfriend even swears he sees ghosts. During class, can you believe it?! It's like he all of a sudden couldn't move, and it felt like someone was touching his stomach. When he looked down to see..." She paused for dramatic effect. "HE SAW A WHITE HAND."



Calxiyn squealed, jumping into the air a few feet before putting her hand on Dale's shoulder for support. "Is he ok?!"




"Ya, it happens all the time he says, but his stomach won't stop hurting." She explained. "He ended up having to go to the hospital."

 

Therity was really out of it today. She didn't really feel any emotions towards anything, which wasn't unusual for her but she literally just stood in one place as everything happened around her. As the lights started flashing, however, she blinked for the first time in about an hour and looked towards the ceiling. Well ****. If this whole scenerio wasn't crazy enough before, it was about to escalate pretty quickly.

Ander's pov:
Ander's key started to glow brighter. Visable to were to was around his neck.
"Ander time you lean your place." the voice said. His last words to the anyone were "Bryce is.." He cut his self off as he hit the ground.
He was at a tower of magic. The tower was of black bricks and of white stone. The Wizards tower was oddly tall of a magic tower.
He had no memory of what happened before it was live he was living in his mind now but he did not know it.
The dark cobble stairs that lead to the tower were old and chipped. Moss grow on the some of the Stairs. He was going on his first mission as a leader.
He was made leader 2 year ago. He trained since 14, 2 years ago to get better he was w 16 and the youngest Mage ever to lead a mission.
They were to find a book on the mission called "Thoughts of the minds." The mission was called Fox's mansion. A man about the age of 15 stood by the tower.
As he got near the tower he notest that the tower was darker then normal. "Bryce, the guild master is acting wired the last few days."
Bryce: " Ander he getting old" Ander: "He only what 100 or so." Then they both laughed. " I guess we should see what this mission is all about.
"who going on this mission Eric?" Bryce: " Some new magic mages." Ander: "at least you are coming along."
Bryce: " you worry to much Ander it just to get some information try to stop worry to much."
Ander and Bryce made there way to the top of the tower, who's bright idea to make a 1000 step tower was beyond him. As their neared the top Ander could here a voice.
"There on there way they will be there shortly. The thing is set up, the.. He cut himself off almost like he knew he Ander and Bryce were there.
In the dark lighted room was a old looking man. He had a gray beard that went to his knees and the man was always hunched over.
He wore a simple robe and sat in a chair by a phone that he never used. He had a Matalan around his neck that was green.
When ever Asked about it his master just said it was a gift from a nice person. His master started wearing the Matalan a week a go.
Every day that pasted he acted a little bit differ today he and yesterday he sat he darkness.
Ander always thought he was because the man was getting older and the light bothered him.
Master: "oh, good you came." the was a long stop. Ander: "we are read to go to the fox's Mansion."
Master: "You will have to cross a large forest then you will come onto a large hill. Then after that you will come onto a large open Feld. Once you are in the building you should find the book.

Ander and BRyce made there way back down the 1000 step tower. Ander found a young boy 13 going on the mission he sighed he was always tripping over his shoe laces.
The boy would one day get him self killed or others. How soon that would come true.
Ander the rest of the group he was leading made there way to the boat that would take them to the land this place was on.

Ren's face clearly showed the relief he was feeling after seeing that the girl was unharmed, a smile having spread across it - only to have his facial expression changed into complete and utter bewilderment as Ander grabbed onto his arm.
"Guy, what... what are you doing?" Ren asked confusedly. "If you're coming on to me, I'm sorry, but I don't swing that way, okay? Let go!" Ren tried to pull away, shaking his arm to release the other mans grip. Then a sudden realisation flashed across his mind. He looked more closely at Ander, a sinking feeling in his stomach.
"Leon, is it you?" he asked tensely, gripping Ander's arm firmly. Please let this just be some poor joke or an atrocious attempt at hitting on me...

"You're done now, right?" Mizuki asked the other team members over her shoulder as she walked up to Mikasa. "Someone should look out for more enemies as well," she added.
"Mizuki," she said, now talking to Mikasa. "Can you stand now?" From what Mizuki could see, the other woman was fine now. The door hadn't done any serious damage, it had just hit Mikasa at an unfortunate angle. Lucky for the ghosts, or they would no doubt have all been taken out by a single blow of the S-class wizards weapon.
"Hemlock, how frequent are attacks like these, or do they happen at all?" she asked the butler. The information could be important. If they were frequent, then they'd be sure to keep an eye out for more of such attacks. If it wasn't a regular occurrence though, that could indicate that the ghosts or whatever entity was controlling them knew they were here. She waited for the butler to provide an answer.

Ander's pov:
He was now 21
His master gave him a key to were around he neck. The mission was a failure.
He knew something was wrong the minute it started. He was leaving the guild. The key is the key his master had said. It is said to open any door.
Then here hered a voice Ander?
He then found himself holding Ren's arm. He must have grabbed it.
"Yea fine, I going to get some air."
He let go of Ren's arm.
With that he walked out the room they were in.
Maybe he could find children to play With.

Amanda pov: She didn't understand all that was happening, the child was a ghost it seemed and looking for his dad, she saw Ander leave for some reason.

Jacks Pov: Shortly after talking to the people in the house about possibility ghost they left and when outside, hopefully this would all become clear later.

 

Mikasa nodded. "It's not every day you get pushed around with such force." She said. She turned to look at Hemlock, but he was gone.



"Great, you scared away the only one who could give us any real information. Real classy." He spat

 

After all the spirits were defeated, Gaius went to check on Mikasa after her encounter with the evil door of doom, but it seemed that Mizuki had that covered. "I think that's the first time I've ever heard of a door defeating a high-ranking wizard" Gaius said with a slight laugh, at the risk of pissing off Mikasa. Jokes aside though, there was now a big problem; they'd lost their only lead. The butler hadn't answered their questions earlier, and now he'd run off. The vibe he'd given off earlier suggested he might know something, so that didn't help.

"I'm gonna go look for the butler, anyone else want to come with me? If we run into anymore spirits, I'll get to show you that I'm way more dangerous than that door" Gaius said, unable to resist, before he turned and began wandering around the home in an attempt to find Hemlock.


While the girl was familiar with curses, Skadi certainly didn't have any experience with the orb whatsoever. It was an interesting device, to say the least. An orb with the power of hypnosis was something she'd never heard of, what kind of magic did that one utilize? Either way, it didn't particularly matter. With no way of knowing what to do next, she followed the others outside and stood on the lawn. She hoped that whatever supernatural entity was inside the house would reveal itself soon. She really didn't like the idea of simply standing there outside for the entire night if it didn't.​

Dale flinched slightly as Cal jumped and quickly attached herself to him. Regaining his composure he steadied Calxiyn on her feet and took her hand off his shoulder.
"There, steady yourself there." Dale said. Then he focused his attention back to the immature teenager Kiyomi. "Thank you for the information miss Kiyomi. Is that quite everything or do you have anything else to add? If not, then I suggest we start to form our plan of action."

Alessia blinked a couple of times as the girl collapsed. She exhaled heavily. It was done and the child was okay. She was just asleep. Wiping her brow she stepped back and prepared to speak, but then a chill set in the room. It appeared out of seemingly nowhere, summoned by some ethereal power or human sense- A warning to tell them that it wasn't over yet. The lights flickered and she looked up, startled. She backed away, not from anything but merely out of a reflexive desire to get away, reaching for the sword at her back. Then, the screeching started. Her sword flashed from its sheath and she looked from side to side for something, anything that was dangerous. Then, all of a sudden, it ended. There was silence. The cold disappeared and the lights stabilised.
"Is everyone okay?" She asked as she glanced around. Everyone was alright by the looks of things except... Ander. He stood up straight. As if he was trying to feign normality by being as straight as possible (which nobody stood like). Stiffly, the man approached Ren and clasped his arm. "Ander let him go! Ren, you should get away. He doesn't look right even I can see that."

 

Skadi Wynter wasn't sure what they were waiting for exactly. Cassandra had said that the spirit would do as Caliborn had instructed, but he had not only failed to actually give any instructions to the residents, but also to take something into account; simply standing outside would result in nothing happening anyway due to them not being able to see inside. The only way that Skadi could imagine them seeing inside was to look through the window, but that was something she would not do. Having to sneak around, having to pretty much eavesdrop on what was going inside would probably yield results, but it was dishonest. What kind of message would that send to all their clients that put out the jobs? 'We'll get the job done, but we'll be sneaky as hell and act suspiciously while we do it'? It was hardly the way to give their guild a good reputation.

Shrugging the thought off, Skadi walked over and sat on the ground next to Silvia. As she sat, out of the corner of her eye she saw Silvia's scar once again, and for the second time she found herself wondering what the story behind it was. "Silvia, we might not know each other very well yet, but I have to ask; is there a story behind that scar? I understand if you don't want to talk about it. If it's something you aren't comfortable with discussing, just say the word and I'll stop asking, I just feel as though it would be better to get to know each other, seeing as how we're roommates" Skadi said, unsure of how exactly to word her question.


"Fist flinging jock?!" Gaius exclaimed, somewhat offended that Thomas had made him sound like almost a thug. Racing after him, he momentarily forgot about the spirits as he caught up to him. Skidding to a stop, he pulled back his fist and prepared to give him a swift jab to the stomach, until he realized that that would prove Thomas right. That thought caused him to place his arm against his side instead. "I'm not a fist flinging jock at all! What are you bitter because I beat you? Because you missed that easy shot on the thing you were fighting? Maybe if you spent more time training and less time gawking you'd actually be as good as you think you are" Gaius said, taking a step towards Thomas with each accusation until finally he stood directly in front of him, simply staring at him eye to eye; not necessarily angry but not appearing as friendly as he had been minutes ago.​
