As the guards reached for Evan he skillfully dodged and skittered through several pairs of legs. skipping through the stony streets and exquisite marble mansions he tried to lose the guards who ran after him shouting. hopping into a mansion he stopped to catch his breath.
"And what are you hoping to achieve?" Hazzakan demanded
    "Hmm... Escape?"
    "Unlikely"
"Okay, then I'll just run back to the others and hide among them, the guards wouldn't try to arrest friends of the king! Right?"
"You're not a friend of the king"
"I'll have to become a friend of the king then!"
    "You hate him"
"Shut up! Also I suppose all plans of leaving are off the table... sigh... damn you past self" Evan got out and clambered along the roads, trying to make his way back through a different route. Eventually he arrived where the goddess and the king were, luckily none of them had noticed his excursion, he hid himself among the group
    "I'm not here, shh!"

Jin happily wandered the lands towards the city in search of a place to do trade with his best friend, his shark, walking alongside him. It was a fairly pleasant walk, as it always was with Lan' by his side. After all, a Landshark was an Elf's best friend. Or was that dogs? Oh well, the Landshark was his best friend and that was all that mattered to Jin'rael! The walk didn't take too long and Lan'do offered to carry him the latter part of the way, because they had been walking a long time and Jin felt lazy. Apparently Lan also wanted a workout and he could think of none better than having an elf riding on his back. Jin attached the specialised saddle he had created to the shark and off they went. The saddle was there for two reasons. One, because Lan' was very uncomfortable to sit on bareback and secondly (Arguably more importantly), he had always fallen off Lan when he had ridden without a saddle and not fancying any more brain damage than he had already received they had managed to find someone to make a specialised saddle just for them which was awfully nice of them he had to say.

When they arrived in the big city and boy it was big! And beautiful, but mostly big! And also more important than that, Jin'rael heard a voice and saw a large Dragon which he recognised instantly as Calor. And it seemed they were surrounded by a giant party with a fancy looking bloke who could only be the King of the Elves himself!

"Lan we're going." Jin' declared and started running over, waving at the Dragon as he went.
"NO JIN DON'T YOU MIGHT NOT BE INVITED!" The Shark called, the only one of the pair who really thought about things like manners, but followed anyway. Once again, Jin' pulls me into something. Oh I hope we don't get in trouble for this, that would be awful. He doesn't mean any harm by it... Jin' kept his reckless run going heedless of the warnings of the Shark. Friendship is way, way more important than manners. Travis is cool, he'll be fine with it!
"Hey again Travis how're you doing? What's going on it looks like you've got a lot of people over here, wow! And they've all got soul friends like I do, except none of them are quite like Lan' here so they're not really all that similar but that doesn't matter!" The Elf exclaimed at the sight of his friend.
