Community Gamertags

Alright, I've started a Minecraft server just for KHV! Figured this would be the best place to post it because it's pretty much THE thread for getting the KHV community together. This might even be worth adding to the front page, but I'll let the mods and thread maker decide that. The server is most likely to be open between 10:00 AM and 10:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. It is on at the time of posting though.

Here are the instructions on how to get onto it.

First, download and install a program called LogMeInHamachi. You can find this program here: https://secure.logmein.com/products/.../download.aspx

Use the Unmanaged version for simplicity's sake.

Second, open up Hamatchi, click Network, and then click Create a New Network. Make the network name whatever you want, so long as it lets you do it.

Third, go to Join an Existing Network, and join the network: KHV Minecraft Server. The password is tienewman. From my experiences, you must type it, not copy and paste. This network will serve as a whitelist until the server becomes more popular.

Finally, open Minecraft, go into multiplayer, and use the IP address 5.36.28.137
If you did everything right, you should land in the world.

 

I keep getting time out errors when trying to connect.

Edit: I'm in now. No one else is though.

 

Oh, that's probably because the server was off. I'll turn it on now, but don't expect me to be on.

 

You should add some server-side texture packs or something.

Also, this isn't dead. We plan on continuing this, so just keep watching. You might want to subscribe to the thread, in order to make sure you get every update.
School has just started (Uni for me & PaW), so we are a bit busy right now.
Other than that, just wait for new dates.

 

Okay guys, here's the plan. Since I have no life, I'll be hosting a number of Xbox community dates till the end of the month, however, they'll all be restricted to the weekend all scheduled for Saturday at the moment. I can't be that flexible with the times, but we may be able to do a little bit later on in the month. However, we'll have to agree as a group first. The game may change depending on who is online and if everyone can play it. Halo: Reach is the most popular so by default it is what we will play but we will see if that changes when more people respond.

I am definitely down to play on Saturdays and I am interested in playing zombies but I don't have the resurrection map pack

 

We could arrange something, I haven't gotcha game any more, or the map packs. And we'll be restricted to only four people, but it's doable. We'll see how that goes when we have a few more people.

I can play on any given Saturday and Thursday provided there's no family emergency, and after roughly 4 weeks i should be able to play almost anytime. I CAN play MW2, and Naruto Shippuden, but i'd prefer just to play Halo: Reach and Halo Wars, as for some reason they're the only games that don't lag too much for me.
