LazyOOC: Uh. Can you put Maria to bed in your next post?? I need to go.

    Cute.

She thought about asking to pet him but didn't bother. She was tired. Luckily, Maria got up and asked her if she was tired. She was given a pair of pajamas and went to change as soon as she could.

That's alright. She mumbled. There was nothing wrong with sleeping in the same bed with Maria, so she climbed in and went to bed.

Rehearsals went really well. They had a general run through with the whole play and it went so smoothly! Of course it wasn't perfect just yet, but there were only a couple mistakes and corrections. He spent most of his time in the sound booth, playing with all the controls. On his side, the tech was going really well already. All he needed to do was get the hang of working the frequencies of the microphones, since they only arrived so recently.

After an extended rehearsals, some of the others went out for pizza and a movie. He politely passed from it, finding himself a little tired from the entire day. However, more so, he really didn't like watching films anyway. He was afraid there would be some intimate scenes that he couldn't handle. He always passed movies, so he made his way home.

He stopped at to buy some healthy dinner from the market then stopped by the animal shelter where he joined Sean for dinner. They ate on the counter of the animal shelter and chatted. They talked about many things. Sean was still bugging him about Maria - trying to find out who she was and why he always changed the topic when Sean asked about her. It was his first time to bring someone to the shelter and Sean claims there's something between them. Of course, Tucker never told him anything.

He then helped Sean take care of some animals before helping him close the shop and then made his way back home - finally. He then took a quick shower, jumped into bed and attempted to sleep. As tired as he was, his mind only went silent hours later when he fell into the hands of slumber due to exhaustion.

Practice was quite tough and they needed to stay back a bit, but in the end Julius could actually say that there was improvement and that they had a good chance of doing well in the play. He never really thought of this as a high working thing and he really didn't mind if any of them screwed up by accident. So long as they had a good time he was pleased. Sure the board would have his head...but pleased regardless. With their hard work Julius decided to reward them a bit and buy them a pizza and set up a movie or something. Julius really didn't really feel like he did much so this was another way of him pitching in more.

With rehearsal over Julius bit farewell to the other and went off on his way back home. As he reached his home he immediately rested his back on his bed and looked up at the ceiling as he removed his eyepatch "man...seems like everyday I just come to bed and just think about the day....why cant I just go to sleep" Julius grumbled as he closed his eyes. He found something that he was pleased to do and he really had no complaint about it, but there was a nagging feeling he felt that bothered him for quite the while. It was a real pain in the ass for him and he found it hard to even sleep. He thought about it for a great while until that rest did come.

While everyone was setting up for rehearsals ( today was their first rehearsal where they would run through the entire play, music, script, and all ), Sophie spoke to Julius about a few announcements that she would make, and after a confirmation, she took center stage, grabbing all attention.

Alright, listen up, she said through the microphone, Today marks our first 'official' rehearsal, so that means we'll be running through everything today and start the fine-tuning. Most of you know that the play is in three days, so if there was ever a time to pull our acts together, it would be now. She motioned for Bryan to set up the orchestra and get all the players in their proper seating.

Also, just a little something to look forward to, I'll be throwing an after-party either the night after the play, or the day after, we can take a vote on it later. Just a little get together for the cast and crew only, don't invite any unwanteds, okay? I'll probably have my pets eat them or something.

On a final note, everyone should treat this rehearsal as the real deal, that means no phones, no talking, and no leaving unless you've cleared it with Sir Dashing Patch, quietly. Maria, no diva fits, Torvald, no revolutions. Et cetera, et cetera. That'll be all.

Sophie set the microphone back on its stand and left the stage while everyone else went back to working on setting up for their practice recital. She joined Bryan in the pit and began directing the members of the orchestra to their seating while she pulled out her cello and set it next to the first chair seat in the cello section.

She watched Quentin walk backstage to no doubt start working with Elisa on makeup and sighed. They hadn't really talked in the last few days, and that bugged her. It wasn't that she was neglecting her toys, it was more like he wasn't paying attention, which was always a bit of a problem for her. She supposed that she wasn't trying hard enough?

With a roll of her eyes, she decided it didn't matter. Ahaha. It might be a little more interesting if he were dating someone. Like Pierce and Oliver. They weren't dating, but with their work in the box office, they spent a lot of time together, alone. That would make for a fun set up.

    Sophie didn't like sharing.

Kurt awoke. He had fallen asleep at his computer... and was now 50+ kilometers from nothing in his game. He felt his forehead. There was an indent of several keys. Kurt showered, and dressed, and went out to the town. He bought food for himself and the cat, and a few other incidentals.

Once he arrived home, he fed the cat, stretched out, and started running. An hour later, he had gotten back to the dorm. Going inside, he stretched again, and walked down to the auditorium to buy tickets for opening night. He bought the tickets, and started walking home. Just then, he got a phone call.

"What? Mom's in the hospital? I'll be there as soon as possible."

He ran in to the dorm, tossed a few days of clothing into a bag, grabbed the cat and food, and tossed them all in the car. A moment later, they were on their way to Seattle.

Zoey was quietly sitting with everyone else, keeping to herself for the most part. Even though she had been here over and over again for the last few weeks they've been working so hard on this, she hardly really talked to anyone. Just only when she had to interact on stage, or make small talk with everyone else. But she was happy. She was the big Extra # 4 after all.

She had to smile at that. She would always get the extra parts, but that didn't really matter to her. The extras made the stars shine a little brighter, and that was okay with her.

Zoey glanced back at her script in her hand, silently repeating her lines to herself over and over again. She was forgetful she knew, but she couldn't blubber on this. No. This was the musical everyone worked so hard on. Even the people with the little parts had to be spot on. Everything had to fall into place like a beautifully crafted jigsaw puzzle-

The girl was brought out of her thoughts when another named Sophie began to speak to everyone through a microphone, giving the announcements. Yup, yup. Today was the day to focus. No goofing around. Nope, nope. A party? Awesome! Bleh, like she had anyone else to invite. She had been a pretty solitary creature since the start of school. She blinked a little when their teacher was called Sir Dashing Patch and then giggled behind her hand. She had an eye patch herself, and she found it pretty funny.

Once that was all cleared up, Zoey let out a small sigh and took a look around her. Sure, she had been pretty solitary before, but she was now craving to jump into the fray of things. She had been in this school long enough after all. Why not try to make a friend?

That was when her eyes landed on no other than Alex Rhodes. Her heart fluttered just a bit and then she caught herself smiling like a lunatic. She slapped herself gently on the cheek. "Focus Zoey, focus girl." No chance, no way was it ever going to work out between them. She heard a bit of the scary events that happened this last summer, but not all of it. She just knew that someone that Alex knew was caught up in the middle of it. Plus, he was eighteen. She was sixteen. Ugh. But it couldn't hurt to dream just a little, right? And here was her chance to actually try to talk to someone. He was there with everyone else after all, why not?

Zoey took in a quick breath before scooting over just a tick towards Alex. She was about to attempt her first conversation with her crush, oh boy. Was she going to come off as creepy? She hoped not. "Got your lines memorized?" she asked with a small smile, holding out her script in front of her as she kept her eye on the guy next to her. Small talk. That's all she wanted to try to accomplish if anything at all.

Alex was sitting down in the seat along with some of the others as they waited. A full run through of the entire play would certainly be good, if not interesting. Still, as it was previously stated via microphone, there were a few issues. Unfortunately involving the leads players too. Maybe luck would be on their side today and nothing would go wrong.
    "Got your lines memorized?"
Alex wasn't expecting someone to speak to him yet, but still he turned towards the voice. He really wasn't expecting to see a girl with a eye patch talk to him either. "You bet." He pointed his index finger towards his head and tapped the side of it. "It's all in here." If he didn't have them memorized, then he risked feeling the wrath of Maria, something he didn't want to experience.
"So, your names is?" Asking that was a lot better then asking about her eye patch, especially since he didn't want to unintentionally offend her. He really was glad that he got better at talking to girls right now.

Oh yeah! He actually talked back to her! She was quite pleased with that and smiled when he pointed to his noggin. He didn't seem very shy at all and didn't give her any signs that he didn't really want to talk at the moment. This was a good sign.

When he asked for her name, she chuckled nervously. "Oops, should have introduced myself first, huh?" She stuck out her hand, grinning from ear to ear. "Name's Zoey Kline, the usually quiet but sometimes crazy chick with the weird eye patch." She winked to him with her eye, knowing that he had questions about it. She could see it in his eyes. Those gorgeous, almost golden eyes-

'Ah, ah! Zoey's mind, shoosh. Shooooosh...'

"And character Extra Number Four in this lovely musical." She kept her upbeat demeanor, trying to make sure she didn't freak him out or overwhelm him with anything. She already knew his name, of course, but she couldn't seem like she was some weird stalker or anything like that. Plus, that would probably spill a little bit of her secret that she had lovey dove feelings for him-- as much as she tried to suppress it. So, collecting in her mind that she was suppose to pretend she really didn't know him that well, she decided to put in her acting skills just a bit early. "And your name is Alex, right?" she asked casually, raising her eyebrow.

Everything seemed like it was running smoothly so far. She hadn't been awkward just yet, or at least she hoped she didn't come off like that. Oh man...

He wouldn't call her eye patch weird, in fact in some cases they actually were pretty close. Julius being a perfect example of that. But on the bright side, he wouldn't feel strange asking her about it now. Maybe he would do it later, after talking with her a bit more.
"And character Extra Number Four in this lovely musical."
So that's what part she played, now it made sense why he's barely seen her around. He didn't know most of the extras in the play. It was mostly his fault for not bothering to even speak to any of them. "So that's what part you play, must be somewhat interesting." Not that he would know everything that a extra went through.
"And your name is Alex, right?"
He nodded in response. "Supporting Character 2." Alex really was starting to take a liking to Zoey, in a friendly sort of way. "If you don't mind me asking, why do you wear a eye patch?" Since he never did find out why Julius wears one, he wondered if he could find out why she wore one.

Julius merely crossed his arms and watched on as Sophie made her announcement to the others and with that he closed his eye and nodded with a smile on his face. Sophie was the right person to make the announcement and he felt the girl basically addressed whatever they really needed to know. With a smirk Julius sat on a chair that remained before the stage. It was time for him to be the judge and executioner for these kids and he awaited to see if they wasted their time or not.

The kids were surely nervous for the play and it was apparent by how many of them that were starting to read over the script. He had faith in them and if they could pass his intimidation test then the actual performance should be a piece of cake really. Opening his eye once more the smirk faded and Julius rose to his feet and stared over at the curtains once more "ALL RIGHT, GET YOUR ASSES IN GEAR, REHEARSAL BEGINS....NO SCREWING AROUND, ITS TIME TO ACT...AND SING...AND DO WHATEVER IS LEFT" Julius yelled out towards the others with his loud booming voice.

"ON GUARD EVERYBODY WE START NOW!" Julius yelled giving the signal before sitting down on his seat and crossed his arms once more. Now was the time for them to prove themselves that they were ready for whatever would come and now was the time he would try to shake the nerves out of the kids. He always had full faith in these kids and always felt they were doing a much better job then he was doing.

She shrugged her shoulders when he mentioned her part being interesting. She wouldn't say that it was interesting, but it wasn't dull either. At least she had a temporary stage entrance, a chance to make things come alive in the background of the musical. Oh yeah...I guess it is. I mean, not many things to worry about. Just kind of float around like a little ghosty, but not a scary one. And one that everyone can see of course." She wiggled her arm, making little ghost noises as she made her hand dance in front of them. "Barely noticeable, but it still adds to the performance." She giggled, tilting her head while looking at Alex while clasping her hands together.

"Supporting character number two, eh? Sounds much more fun." She nodded her head a bit to back up that statement and then stopped when Alex asked about her eye patch. Her eyes softened a bit, adjusting it just a bit. "Well, I don't want to scare anyone, because I'm-"

"ALL RIGHT, GET YOUR ASSES IN GEAR, REHEARSAL BEGINS....NO SCREWING AROUND, ITS TIME TO ACT...AND SING...AND DO WHATEVER IS LEFT"

Zoey nearly jumped out of her skin when their teacher suddenly shouted like that, squeaking at the sudden loudness. "Yikes!" she glanced at Alex, laughing at her foolishness. "Looks like we gotta practice. See ya around?" Zoey got up from where she was sitting before she hurried off to her spot. She stopped before she disappeared behind the curtain, waving at her new acquaintance. Giving him a thumbs up, she mouthed "Good luck" before she disappeared from sight, getting ready for her cue... Which would be a while off.

Maria had seated herself beside Noëlle when they got to rehearsal. It had been nice having her over the night before, albeit, not quite as nice as she could wish for. From her seat in the auditorium, she gave Tucker a small wave and a half smile. It all felt so weird. She didn't know what was going on with him and had decided to give him space until he was ready to talk. They had barely spoke since Sunday--now Tuesday--and they had never discussed what happened between them. It was hard, distancing herself, but something told her it was the right thing to do. The sound of footsteps on the stage brought her to attention, and she looked up to see Sophie now holding a microphone.

Who died and put Sophie in charge?

Maria's gaze drifted to Julius as he sat with the rest of them. She pursed her lips in annoyance, then sighed. Being annoyed wouldn't get anywhere.

Also, just a little something to look forward to, I'll be throwing an after-party either the night after the play, or the day after, we can take a vote on it later. Just a little get together for the cast and crew only, don't invite any unwanteds, okay? I'll probably have my pets eat them or something. So, Sophie was throwing the after party this year? Lame.
Maria crossed her arms and glared up at the brunette on the stage. I am not a diva. It's not my fault Torvald is a pompous ass. There could be pretty much anyone else on stage with me and it would be fine. She shrugged and rolled her eyes, pressing herself tighter against the seat. She was about to get up when Julius jumped to his feet. So the man in charge did have something to say.
ALL RIGHT, GET YOUR ASSES IN GEAR, REHEARSAL BEGINS....NO SCREWING AROUND, ITS TIME TO ACT...AND SING...AND DO WHATEVER IS LEFT. Julius yelled out towards the others with his loud booming voice. ON GUARD EVERYBODY WE START NOW!

    Well then...

Maria rose from her spot in the aisle and made her way back stage. She motioned for Elisa to follow her and hurried to her dressing area. It was time for her to put all of her confusing thoughts about Tucker aside for now, as difficult as it may be. Maybe I can ask him to do something with me after rehearsal. She bit down on her lip and shook her head. He needed to approach her. The ball was in his court now. If she kept making all the first moves, then it would be entirely one sided.

She stopped in front of her rack of dresses and the ornately decorated mirror with large bulbs just above the reflective surface. Maria undid the large belt the ran across her abdomen, over her dress, and turned to face the rack. She rifled through the hanging fabrics until she found the one to be worn first. Elisa could you help me out for a minute? she asked the girl with blue hair. Most people would look terrible with blue hair, but it seemed nice on her.

Aidan remained silent after that, and resolved not to leave. Instead, he elected to sit there in the hall, totally useless. Some people came in yelling about getting their asses in gear, but he didn't know what to do OR if he even had a damn job. Nobody had made that especially clear, or if they had he wasn't paying attention at the time. He switched on his phone again and looked at it blankly. There was the number. The number of the one person here who apparently liked him. One out of... several. Nobody liked her either apparently. She seemed to be estranged from everyone else, though for different reasons.

He shook himself out of the almost trance like state. He needed to find something to do with himself, but what? He didn't know a damn thing about what was going on. He may as well ask. He stood up and cleared his throat.
"So guys... Need me to do anything?" Aidan asked generally, not expecting a satisfying answer. Hadn't he said he'd leave? He hadn't. Something inside him was telling him there was something to do here then. Well, he may as well find out what.

Seraphina walked into the auditorium, a little late because of this mornings breakfast. She hoped no one would notice. She quietly walked over to Aidan and sat beside him. She took out her lines in the script and read them over, hoping to blend in a little. But as always she stood out. She wondered why Aidan hadn't texted her about Cafe... maybe he forgot... or was playing hard to get. Either way this should be interesting.
She listened to Sophie and Julius go on about how today was official rehearsal time and such.

" I'll be throwing an after-party either the night after the play, or the day after, we can take a vote on it later. Just a little get together for the cast and crew only, don't invite any unwanteds, okay?"

After party? That sounded good. She was a bit disappointed that she forgot to offer her Manor up for a party place, but then again there is always next year. And plus she should've said something sooner... better to be prepared.

    Maria, no diva fits.

Seraphina laughed. So she did do that offend... or just enough so people noticed. She was an attention seeking ***** after all. She laughed again, this time in her head. Interesting... Maria didn't seem to like that either... Seraphina could blow her out of the water one day or another. She took her script and read her lines, she looonged to sing some of the songs, but they weren't for her. She started to tap her foot to the beat and sing along quietly. She wondered how today would go. She checked herself in a compacted mirror, much like her phone, it was sparkly and bedazzled she thought she looked great as always. She smiled. She wondered what she would wear to the after party... maybe she could ask Aidan to be her date for said after party. So many things to do so little time, it was best if she kept focus for now.

Well, now that we have that out of the way... I just want to make sure that since I respect your privacy (even though you don't tell me anything anyway) you would respect mine. I'm not going to be spending as much time at home, if you haven't already noticed.

...About the thing I said, at Benny's. I didn't just say... that — it wasn't a girl. I suppose since I was a bit of a klutz about blurting it out, I should just tell you. I'm bisexual. Yes, I have slept with guys. No girls, yet. Haha. Ha. Embarrassing. Sorry you had to find out the way you did.

While I'm talking about this... Is there anything you want to tell me? Boyfriends? Girfriends? Polyamorus relationships? Skip that last one, my frail heart wouldn't be able to handle it.

Bryan listened to Sophie's announcements, half-wondering why it was her up there, and not Julius. Sir Dashing Patch? He smothered a laugh.

When she was through, everyone quickly went to their places on stage and backstage while she joined him in the pit to organize. They went over the score, quickly, one more time.

"Alright, quiet on the set!" someone called out, and that was the orchestra's cue to softly lull into the introductory music; a mix of melancholic sleepiness and a sunset over a small, sleepy town, which was the setting of the play. A shiver of excitement ran down Bryan's spine at actually hearing the music echo through the halls, and that everything was coming together at the motion of his hands. What an exhilarating feeling.

Soon, things were happening, and everyone was doing their part. His eyes followed the beautiful Maria, enjoying her acting and the way her lips and body moved. Maybe Harley was right; was it time for a girlfriend?

Back stage, Zoey was already dressed in her costume and sitting where she was suppose to be at. She was dressed as a young street boy, her face smeared with make up to make it look like she was indeed a homeless lad. Her black eye-patch was switched out with a somewhat tattered cloth one, but it still covered her eye, which she was grateful for. It was an ugly thing, and if her patch was off... Well, that would cause everyone to be a bit nervous around her. Then again it could have added to the play's drama, but she chose to have a ratty like cloth over her eyes. Oh extra characters, just a background kind of role. But then again, she was already like that, wasn't she.

Zoey couldn't help but to look backstage for Alex. He actually allowed himself to open up to her, and wasn't even nervous about asking why she had her eye-patch. She smiled at that, and then turned to the script in her hand. No, she wouldn't look for Alex, not for a while. He had more things to do in the play than with her. She heard the music start and then took in a quiet breath. She always loved the orchestra. They always put such feeling into their music. It really sucked everyone into the play, make them forget it was actually a play. It was the real thing. Considering what the play was about, everyone would be in tears at the end when they actually preformed. A sad, and happy story. Sweet, and then bitter. But such was life, right? Life was sweet and bitter.

She couldn't help but touch her blinded eye, closing her good one as she sighed out. Anger... Anger, rage, hatred... It's what caused her to be blind in one eye. She remembered the blood, the screaming, the crying... But it wasn't her that cried.

She cleared her throat, making her eye open. No. No time to remember that. Get away memories, I need to focus.

But we're still here, and we'll always be here... Whether you open or close your eyes.

"Stop it," she whispered to herself, forcing herself to concentrate to pay attention to the stage. Everything was going to be great. She could feel it in her bones. And the after party... Well, she couldn't wait for it.

...We can chase the dark together; if you go, then so will I...

It's not like I 'don't tell you' because I don't want to. Maybe I will someday, when I'm on my deathbed ... But yeah, I get it. Privacy.

Oh ... I don't know how I feel about that. I thought you were totally gay. Lol. It would have explained some things. I never really see you with anyone! I know it's none of my business, but I'm concerned. I want to be an aunt someday, you know!

Haha. Nope. No any of that. :). Before you get any funny ideas, too, there is a guy I like, and have liked for a long time. Just haven't gotten anywhere with it. That's why I don't date much myself.

    WEATHERCLOUDY, COLD 27°! ✖『DATE & TIME』 12/25/2015 - 7:00PM ✖『DAY』 05

Christmas. Her heart was fluttering the moment she woke up and slipped out of bed, into the cold. She wasn't a kid anymore, but she still got majorly excited for Christmas morning. Ms. Chambers had become a little less festive over the years, but they had still put out a tree and some lights around the windows. Like a lot of people, Christmas was her favorite holiday. It reminded her of her childhood, when things were better and her parents were still together. Back when family 'get-together's were a common thing, and her and Bryan were inseparable.

It also made her feel a bit sad inside, because those days were gone.

With a warm pair of pajamas, and a blanket wrapped around her shoulders, she headed into the living room for a humble gift exchange. She had gotten Ms. Chambers a gift card to her favorite restaurant, to share with Joey [ whom she had been trying to pair with her mother for years now ]. Bryan had gotten her a gift, which she hadn't been expecting at all. It was a beautiful silver necklace that she would probably never take off ever, and a somewhat-cheesy, mostly sweet Christmas card [ with a bit of money inside -- how big brother of him ].

Her gift to him was a self-made scarf [ green, like his eyes! ], and a slip of paper that read in big bold colorful letters 'GIFT TICKET!'. She explained to him that whenever he was ready for his present, he could exchange the ticket for what it was. A surprise she was excited to give!

Excuse me, sorry. Err. Pardon me? ... Um. Sir? Sir. The older gentleman standing up in the middle of her row finally turned to look at her and sat down, allowing her through. Her expression was a bit irritated, but she muttered a 'thank you' anyway. Opening night was PACKED so far!! Who would have known so many people would turn up? They would be out of seats soon, at this rate!

Noëlle stopped backstage to wish everyone good luck, specifically Maria. Julius was visited too, and given his Christmas present [ a pirate hat ]. Then, she was back trying to find her seat. Assigned seating was a pain, but at least she wouldn't be alone for the whole show. Some crew members who were backstage or in the box office would be sitting around her soon enough, as soon as they were no longer needed.

For now, though, she was by herself, several seats away from the man from before, and looking over the musical's pamphlet. It made her feel proud to see her name in the credits, even though she had been pretty much useless.

Seraphina walked into the auditorium, a little late because of her outfit tonight, she really loved it, even though she knew she would be changing for the play anyway. She smiled at the people walking in as she made her way back stage. "Oh this is so exciting..." Seraphina said to herself. And the after party... that would be so fun much, even if she wasn't going with Aidan. She changed into her costume and hung around back stage.

Even though she never got nervous, this was her first time preforming here, she hoped everyone was ready. She wondered about Maria, even though she was a bit of a ***** and a ***** she should still wish her good luck because... thats what professional actresses do. She smiled to herself and waited for her to come, she hopefully would show up.

Seraphina wondered about the after party... she didn't really know everyone very well, but she was sure she would have fun. It wasn't like being home for Christmas but, other then her house keeper, her butler and some of the staff.... there wasn't anyone to go home too. She sighed. She wondered if her family was having fun on their vacation at Disney... she longed to go with them, because she loved being mistaken for a princess... but alas acting is much more important then silly things.... childish things. She shook her head and focused on the task at hand... waiting for her fellow performers to come so she could wish them good luck

    Frederick "Freddie" Anderson
    DAY: 4 | DATE: December 25, 2015 | LOCATION: Auditorium

It was Christmas morning. Freddie had gotten out of bed in his usual sloth-like manner. He trudged through his room, which was littered with wires, comic books, and various, assorted electronics. The cold winter morning got to him, making him put on his bathrobe over his pajamas to make himself feel even warmer. Just as he was about to exit the doorway, he stopped and turned around. He looked at his prized guitar which was standing in a corner of the room. "Morning, Aria." Quickly, he went to the kitchen to make his own breakfast. Eggs sunny side up with a side of bacon and buttered toast. Nothing too fancy or extravagant.

He went to his couch and plopped himself in front of his TV. Placing his plate on the small table in front of him, he turned on the television and flipped through the channels to see if anything good was on. As he expected, nothing. Nothing but Christmas specials and the like, a fact that irritated him to no end. Freddie wasn't very big on Christmas ever since he grew up. He took a couple bites of his food and changed the channel to one of the Christmas specials. It was better than eating in silence.

At Fortissimo University, after purchasing his ticket from the box office, he went into the auditorium jam packed with people. He hadn't seen that many people in this auditorium before. It was pretty crazy. He looked around for some empty seats and spotted one near the aisle. Not an ideal place to sit, but it was good enough, all things considered. He sat down and pulled out the pamphlet he had been given. The Girl in Watercolors. Interesting name for a musical. He was really curious to see what it was about. He looked through the pamphlet as he waited for it to begin.

A small childlike gasp. Brightening of sea green blue and a piercing but heartmelting gaze that said was being shrieked at him.
"AAAAAAaaaaAaaAaaaaAaaa! Thankuthankuthankuthankuthankuthankuthanku so much Zachy!! You're the best big brudder ever! The other girls will be jellyus." He corrected her speech with a enveloping bear hug, picking up her tiny two year old body was easy as he absorbed her warmth and happiness. When she calmed down, never letting go of her toy, she gave him his reveried macaroni drawing. The fact that she knew it was Christmas time and wanted to give him something was so endearing that five minutes was taken out while the two blonde siblings played around the highly decorated tree. Zachary had to be careful to not damage themselves or the pretty things his sister and mother had set up while he was away. He set the little tyke down so he could give his mother her gift. It was a trip to Hawaii, and the look on her face was worth it. It took a bit of saving from his part time job which was tough since it closed during the holidays, but her smile, his mother's tearful, happy smile energized and kept him pepped up for weeks. And aside from getting tickets to his show and promising to record it for his father, despite Zachary not having any appearances, she had only gotten him few books on strange things she thought he might be interested in and a few special pins, because she knew how much he like them. A family hug was needed at this moment. All and all, Christmas was a good, warm, fuzzy day.

Later. It was show time, he was to be backstage throughout the whole play. Helping with props and scenery errors and movements and changes as the play progressed. He did want to watch it in the seats, but nothing would compare to watching it with the old man when he returned from Hawaii, so he agreed to help when he was needed. Dressed in black he talked with his team, making sure they knew what to do and when to do. Also he gave everyone a loud good luck and came to realize he was nervous! He had performed in bigger crowds then this but even then he got nervous. He took some deep calming breaths and focused on the fact that no one was going to see the set designer team, well when they were on stage. His team would be in and out before the stage lights turned back on.

This black was a bit hot though, but he didn't complain, instead the joy of today and the excitement of the play riled him up to double check everything he and his crew had been doing over the weeks. Finally he kept himself busy by making sure klutzy girl was in her seat in the audience. His eyes narrowed in a nice intent way, but in a warning way. Unless they desperately needed her, she would not pass. He would Gandolf the hell out of her before he let her on stage.
