Epilogue…

Luxord’s eyes fluttered open, and he groaned. Food-poisoning was NO JOKE! The rest of his day was filled with pain, pills, and constant puking. He felt like he was NEVER going to get better.

What time is it…? the blonde thought hazily, eyes wandering around the room.

The only source of light in the lab was a pale blue light filtering in from Kingdom Hearts through an open window. The whole castle was eerily quiet – and in a building filled with 13 other people, quiet wasn’t common to come by. No doubt it was either very early in the morning, or extremely late at night… Probably both?

He groaned some more. What the HELL was it that had woken him up in the first place?! Now he’d never be able to go back to sleep!

He sighed, and rolled over, when something caught his eye… It was… A card… On his nightstand.

On the cover was beautiful rose, along with fancy, golden letters that spelled out the words, “Get Well Soon…â€

He blinked, snatched it up, and opened it up, wondering who it was from. It read:

Hey, man. Heard about what happened with you and that poison chicken. Boy, does that suck.

Well, anyways, I just wanted to wish you luck. I know that puking all day wasn’t your idea of a good time (but, seriously – whose WOULD it be?!), and I wanted to cheer ya up, or whatever…

Luxord smiled, brushing away the tears that were threatening to run down his cheeks. This is so sweet…! Xigbar did this JUST for me?!

He hugged the card tightly to his body. It probably hadn’t been easy getting past Xemnas’ security, but he did it anyway! Luxord had to throw up again into the trashcan just to make sure it wasn’t a dream.

He smiled a little. Heh… Maybe chicken isn’t so bad, after all…
