    I hate it. When I saw this, the 1st thing I thought was that I miss-clicked my bookmarks, and the 2nd thing I thought was that the site got hacked and this is someones idea of a joke...

    Is there a way to change it back? T.T

    Yeah, it is awesome, but the game itself...
    ...man, I can't even call it an "Alpha". I was expecting at least 1 or 2 characters to be something like 80% but I got 2 that had unbalanced attacks, no specials and where missing frames and floating... If I remember, Axel used to have legs while walking... and crouching... don't even get me started on that.

    So yeah... still a preee-ty long way to go, but if motivation keeps up there's a chance of something really good.

    PS: just curious, what resolution is it in? 320x240? my screen in 1680x150, so that was almost the size of a post stamp (and fullscreen is out of the question, since the aspect ratios don't fit :/). If possible, think about changing that to 640x480, 800x600, or having it in the options menu sometime in the future (probably by the time Beta 1 comes out).

    @OP
    Scrap the Quote tag. It messes up the front page, because the tag is never closed.

    Anyway, nice to see that the project is progressing along nicely. Gonna play it in a bit. Hope to see another demo when it's in the Beta stage :>

    PS: Congrats to anyone who thought up the subtitle "Shackles of Destiny"!

    Soo... if my name would start with an S I'd have a better Sex life or what? Oo?

    Names can have a certain bearing on what other people think about you, but that's only until they actually get to know you. Initials? Blah! My name starts with an "Ł". 5$ if you find out what I'm good at by that.

    Wwiii?

    I posted that quote in the other topic: http://kh-vids.net/showthread.php?t=33790
    And I'm sure it's (quite) accurate, since I got it off Wikiquote ^^;

    Anyway, I propose a lock of this topic, since another one exists and is still quite fresh.

    Doesn't really change that fact that Santa's image was changing throughout history...

    I'd like to point out something. The current image of Santa (Chubby with a bright red coat) was made by... Coca-Cola for it's Christmas advertisements.
    The image of Santa was changes throughout history many times. He was once a skinny guy with a green or blue coat!

    That said however, the reason someone wants to change it now is... well, stupid. This isn't anywhere near the source of the problem.
    Like Repliku said, kids don't want to be fat just to "be like Santa" (what a bunch of *****), and like Bunterx said, they just throw there guilt on anything other then themselves.

    "I do not know with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones." - Albert Einstein

    So pray that something this stupid will newer happen. The current destructive power of weaponry is ready to level countries.

    The ease of traveling these days really does increase the chance of various diseases spreading, and living in big cities and generally overpopulated areas makes it easier to spread.

    On the other hand, we have more and more advanced medicine that's set out to battle things that a few years later might have been fatal.
    (And yes, bacteria is evolving too, but there aren't that many things that are of concern now)

    All in all, take shots and make basic hygiene a crucial part of your life.

    I just heard about those things on the local news. Those things are also in Poland, and are now being withdrawn from the market pending further testing.

    What I'd like to know, is HOW something that's a drug (Called "Rape pill"! Oo) got into that stuff...

    I still think the lesser problems should be cured in less then a few years, and if the dose isn't stupid, then there's no time for tolerance there.

    But I get your point. Still, if the psychiatrist knows his job then there's not much risk.

    Let me elaborate a bit about point a, because I feel that it was misinterpreted a bit.

    By "The psychiatrist didn't help you enough in this time" I mean that he generally should cure you of the strong symptoms before the tolerance kicks in, and the drugs shouldn't be needed by that time. Again, I'm talking about conditions not requiring long term medication.

    Repliku posted some interesting things about bad medication. That's a very good topic. Some people react to the same drug differently. Some less, and some more serious. Parents, or other family members should watch anyone taking that sort of medication for any change of character, since it may sometimes not be noticed by the patient himself. Any symptoms should be reported to the psychiatrist so he can react if needed.

    Personally, I reacted good to the drug I was taking. I was happier and more confident. I was taking them for about half a year, every year for 3 years. (so I had breaks).

    PS: But I saw this one documentary on Discovery Channel about one of the School Massacres involving 2 students. One was a psycho, but the other was on medication, that was causing increased violence. Why didn't no one notice sooner? (a rhetorical question).
