Kingdom Hearts II Why did Hollow Bastion need two keyholes to shut?

Okay,so I'm replaying KHII and I just saw Sora seal another keyhole after the 1000 heartless, but he's still somewhere in Hollow Bastion, right?

Why did two keyholes need to be shut in Hollow Bastion?

If it wasn't Hollow Bastion, what was it?

 

Yes, he's in Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden. And they're not really keyholes; they're pathways to new worlds. The first one was used to unlock the path to the story worlds, and the second one unlocked the path to Twilight Town again (if I'm not mistaken).

So it's not really the same thing.

 

They were pathways to new worlds, so he was opening them, not closing them, I think. He already closed the keyhole in KHI,didn't he?

 

Oh, it was to open up pathways? Hmm..makes sense now that I think about it, but needing to unlock two sets of worlds on one world seems kind of ridiculous.Ah well,I'm not making millions off this brilliant series.

Yeah, just two different pathways in one world, although they do look like keyholes. Could he actually be opening old keyholes or something like that. maybe it'll play into BBS.

 

i remember that scene, it wasn't really in Hollow Bastion, it was the World of Darkness i believe.
