a skin for every occasion? like hearts for valentines day and christmas trees and persents for christmas etc. etc.

 

If someone can be bothered to make them then I am all for it.

 

i'm not seeing it. Granted it could be a good idea similar to what google and yahoo do for the holidays, but I think that it would be maybe too much work for a one day or few day showing. I'm not opposed to the concept, but logistically, not seeing it.

 

Knowing the people who would have the power to implement this, I'd say it wouldn't get done. Nice idea, but people are lazy :p​

 

Agreed. It'd be a visually appealing idea, but it would require too much effort on the administrator's part to implement it.

 

That would take much too much effort to do. maybe modify the skin were using, but not a new skin altogether.

 

It would be a fab idea, but it would take a lot of time for one person to make a skin for all those special days.

If enough members have knowlegde with skins, i suppose a competition could be held for special days, and whoever creates the best skin will have it put up for the time.

I'd think it'd be quite simple if, for example on Christmas we add a Santa hat to Sora in the banner. I think it would work to an extent.

 

Instead of changing the skin, we could change the banner. There Is plenty of good Graphic Designers In this site who I think would be pleased to make a banner for different occasions.

That actually sounds a bit easier. And I think some of us are getting weary of the whole "pencil-drawn clueless Sora's about to step in something" look. :huh:

But yeah, I'm up for the banner suggestion.

Changing the banner would be earier and if it can be implamented and there are people willing to do it then I'm fine with it.

I'm very intigued with this idea, I think it's very nice to have the banner change every occasion.

 

The idea is a great one but we can't even get a darker skin for people that have bad eyes so I don't see it happening.

 

Nice idea, but most people are just too lazy to bother making this stuff, plus there's the problem of bandwidth...

We get a new skin every year, so I guess if you don't like this one you'll just have to wait ten months... <_>

But yeah, I like the banner idea. (seeing as I thought of it. :P)
