Yep I got a wii.


Anybody else who got it post here.

 

Well, I doubt many people got it but those who did ARE SO LUCKY!

My friend, who is also tehmuffinman here got it. I haven't played it yet.

 

I was actually stupid enough to check out Circuit City for Wiis at 9:00! Little did I know, my Toys 'r Us had 200 Wiis at stock an hour later! God, I'm so pissed!

 

That sucks so much. The Wii is destroying PS3 in consoles sold.

 

my mom was on amazon.com had one in her shoping cart and went to check out right away but they where already sold out 0.o and the i heard that like 80% of all ps3s have already broken

 

Of course the Wii is going ot beat out the ps3, they shipped like three times as many consoles!
Also, because no one else has said it, this thread sounds like a perverted joke :p

I would get a Wii, but it hasn't been released in the UK yet T_T

Nintendo are owning Sony at the moment, as i expected.

 

Now, all the Wiis have sold. All the PS3s have sold. It's official.

Which means PS3 sold 400,000 units, Wii 4,000,000.

 

I doubt that all 4,000,000 has been sold, I think the all the US stock has been sold, but the stock for the rest of the world is yet to land, from memory the US didn't get the full 4,000,000.

 

So close agaiiiin! Best Buy had a stock 50 Wiis really warly in the morning! So the US still has some Wiis to be shipped.

 

Aahhh.....I love my new Twilight princess game......

 

I so want a Wii... :( :( I can't really afford it. I can barely afford a PS2 now that my old one is dead.

 

I'm so getting a Wii with my Christmas money.

Me and my friend had to figure out how to fish in Zelda. It was quite a funny thing to watch.

Wii Sports is amazing, especially for a free game. Baseball > Tennis > Bowling > Golf > Boxing.

 

Fishing IS fun! I caught a 14 inch Catfish!

 

oh yes, i got a wii.

i was number 6 in line and i waited for it for over 12 hours in 30-degree weather.
it's famazing.

zelda is amazing. i mean, 90+ hours of gameplay? talk about me having no life for the next 90+ hours.

wii sports is so much fun. tennis + bowling + baseball + golf = nonstop fun.

red steel is okay. it's like 007 on steroids.

and madden 07 is famazing also. you actually have to throw the "wii-mote" and nunchuck...it's hilarious.

My friend has Red Steel, and the multiplayer is drop dead amazing. The single player is sub-par, I've played it at GameStop.

but i still can't stop playing it. i think it's a lot easier to use than other systems. i caught on really quick to the controls.

 

It's true, the controls are very easy to get used to. I have to admit, Red Steel is a bit difficult, it's very sensitive and I found myself spinning in circles occasionally.

 

i tried the actual storyline once and didn't like it too much. the multiplayer, on the otherhand, is quite entertaining.
