Super smash bros brawl info

Due to the fact I found only 2 Super smash bros brawl threads that were based off one specific topic I made this thread just to keep everyone up to date with the updates we have so far.

Giga Bowser Transformation

What?! You can control Giga Bowser from Super Smash Bros. Melee?!

It’s Bowser’s Final Smash!!



Bowser grabs a Smash Ball! TRANSFORM!


Whoaaa! Talk about a change!



He’s huge! And tough!

What, you think just because he’s huge, you can needle him with lots of little attacks and keep him off-balance? Heh heh... Yeah, you keep thinking that.


He must be invincible!

You can only be Giga Bowser for a short time though, so you’d better take your enemies out while you can. Bear in mind too that while escaping from Giga Bowser, some fighters might decide it’s a good strategy to pick off the stragglers in his wake...




Here’s Samurai Goro, Captain Falcon’s rival. He’s an F-Zero Pilot. He wears the number five.

A reckless slasher of his enemies, Samurai Goro is not a man you want on your bad side.

By the way, the majority of Assist Trophies are invincible. Trying to fight back is useless, so just run away

Wario: Special Moves

<Side Special Move: Wario Chopper>

Wario’s side special move is the Wario Chopper. He jumps on and starts racing

Vroom! Vroom!

Tilt the Control Stick in the opposite direction of your movement to pull a 180. Use an attack button to jump off.

Axle turn!

Only one motorcycle will appear on screen, so if you fall off, run back up to it and climb on again

Where’s my hog?!


<Down Special Move: Wario Waft>

Oh, and Wario’s down special move is the Wario Waft. That is to say, he passes gas.

This particular special move builds up power the longer you go without using it.

If you haven’t held it in, it’ll be a cute little poot.

But when you hold it in as much as you can...?!

In this case, patience really is a virtue.

So yeah there is more to come.

 

Th revamped Giga Bowser looks awesome. XD

Looking forward to fooling around with that guy.

 

I just saw those updates on the site. Bowser's special looks like a lot of fun.

 

Too bad you can't control Samuria Goro on your own. The assist trophies are the things that will be awesome. Giga Bowser has always creeped me out and he still does.

Bumper

What?! Is this... Could it be?!

It’s the Bumper from the Nintendo 64 version of Super Smash Bros.!
Back again after a whole nine years... Well, I’ll be


Ahh... That really takes me back.

This is the kind of bumper you might see bouncing a pinball around. So if a character touches it, he or she will get knocked around as well!



Watch out for those bumpers once they’re set!

Now you can set them in midair as well. This might lend itself to a few new and interesting strategies.



Of course, just keeping people from making it back to the stage should be the most obvious use.

And don’t just set it randomly and wait for an opponent to walk into it—try to use it wisely in combination with your own attacks.

Donkey Kong


It’s Donkey Kong, ruler of the jungle. The original giant powerhouse makes a triumphant return!

Looks like his giant punch is still the haymaker you remember. Don’t doubt his strength or you’ll end up with the ultimate headache

Smashville

Wait a second... Is this...an Animal Crossing stage?! And the name...well... Go ahead and poke fun if you must.


This should be a familiar sight to Animal Crossing fans.

It’s very clearly the world of Animal Crossing—even the changing scenery of day and night is determined by the Wii’s internal clock.

This is not the relaxing pace of any small town I know...

And what do you think of all those guests hanging out? There sure are a lot. It’s like they all came to watch the big event.

And look, there’s the busy barista, serving coffee to the spectators.

But there’s more...

If you play a match here on Saturday at 8PM...

Samus: Final Smash

Zero Laser

Don’t fire! Do NOT fire that laser!

Why? ...Well, because it really hurts!



MAXIMUM CHARGE!

Now, fire! Whoa, that’s huge!

That weapon is extremely powerful. Her opponents’ damage meters skyrocket!

...But afterwards, Samus has a problem.


Now she’s just Zero Suit Samus.

That really was her last trump card. She used a weapon so powerful, it destroyed her Power Suit.

Now it’s time for Zero Suit Samus to show what she can do.

It looks like you can throw the pieces of her suit that end up on the ground.

Hey. Stop that... QUIT IT! I mean it!

Take that!

Zero suit

When Samus destroys her Power Suit, she’s left with the Zero Suit. What she’s lost in power and weaponry, she makes up for in speed!

Once she turns that Paralyzer in her hand into a whip, she has quite a long reach as well! Not exactly the straightforward fight you thought it was, huh?

HOLY **** A STORYLINE

My own update.







Yoshi’s back and bursting with personality! He can launch consecutive attacks and even smack around enemies below him mid-flight.

Among other things, he can now use his up special move, the Egg Toss, to increase the distance of his jump. That’s enough to earn him a hearty welcome, isn’t it?

 

are you lot sure this isnt from ONM ( My favourite mag ) cause there are the same pictures from there...

 

Oh! ONM is a great mag, i use to buy it all the time.

He got them for the Smash Bros. DOJO site. There's some new updates of Yoshie & stages now.

 

Ummmmmmmmm no.

 

Wow, Bowser is going to pwn some major Nintendo *** in this game.

Wario's 'charged up' fart attack looks effective but I doubt it will be used much for tournament use.

 

Those graphics are pretty freking sweet. :D

I'm just waiting for them to confirm Marth =X. Luckily my main from Melee is still there, but man do I still need my Marth as my second.

Wouldn't mind trying to find a new one in possibly Pitt, but yeah.

They BETTER officially declare Brawl as an online title at TGS, or I'm going to be so mad--and scared.

I know that it's likely that they don't want to say anything yet because it's possible that they haven't worked out all the kinks yet, but they couldn't at least say "We're working on that to make it happen" instead of just smiling all-knowingly like baffoons. But it just seems impossible that the game wouldn't go online.

Brawl was originally supposed to be a launch title for the Wii, but they obviously delayed that for a year. And for what? If it was going to be a launch title, the gameplay in itself should've been pretty much complete. I understand that delaying it could let them work out more additions such as characters, movesets, perhaps balance the tiers a bit since Melee suffered major drawbacks from an incredibly biased set of characters. But honestly, let's face it, it doesn't require an entire year + 1 month to get that figured out. Then by early 2007, we see that the gameplay is once again, pretty much completed and very little has changed overall. So honestly, I can't help but think that this massive delay until December (when rumours changed from a January release to March, then to June, then July, and now finally December) is because of the online gameplay that they're trying to figure out.

If I get so much as a "No... this game won't feature online" at TGS, I'm going to sit there in my chair, pissed off. It'd be even worse if they still continued to keep their mouths shut on this matter up until late November.
