~SPOILER WARNING~ best anime death?

What in your opinion is the best anime death of a main character be it good or evil?

if this is already been posted please close or/and delete this thread.

To me L's death in Death Note episode 25, must be one of the best.

And the episode when Kaien from Bleach dies.

And also the 3rd Hokage's death in Naruto.

 

I accually thought those where good deaths but to be honest i think the best death is Kamina's death on Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann

 

Mine would be Android 16's death in Dragonball Z becauase his death awakened Gohan's Super saiyan 2 form which for me was the best part of the series and same with future Gohan's death

 

That is one of my favourites. Such an emotional part, but also kickass at the same time.

 

I never did think of that one, thats quite a good one but I thought that Piccolo's sacrifice in the Saiyan saga was also interesting for Gohan's power.

Hmm I don't know, I'm torn between Light and L's death. Both were sad and really moving. D:

 

Jean's death in Episode 26 of Claymore... it was heart-breaking.

 

Kikyou's (FINAL FREAKIN') death.

The fifth or so time.

In sad terms...I'd have to say Kagura's death. Sesshy showed minor emotion. D:

Also, the death of Light's dad in Death Note was pretty tragic.

 

Cell's death in DBZ. Only villain that did get the f-ing Spirit Bomb used on him. Also because of the awesomness of the death. How many times does the Kamahameha get some upgrade?

 

Anyone ever see the last few episodes of Wolf's Rain? Pretty much everyone dies in that. But each death is really sad.

 

Lights death was pretty awesome so ill go with that one

 

L's Death in Death Note was probably the best in my opinion.

 

SUPER SPOILAR: Itachi's. EPIC. FRIGGIN EPIC.

 

I'd have to say Soichiro Yagami's, it was so dramatic. Same with L's and Light's.
